Here is Cartoon Style of Av-matoran Takua and here is Hali. Oh... please note, I just realized that I accidentally messed up the legs of the 3d model, I'll have to fix it later and rerender everything, but I can't do that right now, so try to ignore the deformity in his legs. Questions... comments? Oh and just for fun here is "Chubby" Takua my mascot. Here's all three of them (from the other topics) rendered.

Yeah, I was right there looking at it. Trying to figure out how it could, somehow, get to the highway and to my house... Back angles. It's currently on tour across the States. It'll be in Baltimore, Maryland, today, Memorial Day. But there will probably be a bigger crowd than today at the National Harbor because there's a sci-fi/fantasy convention concluding. B) -CF

THE PROLOGUE There is a story. A story chronicling the epic tales of many heroic beings in their quests. A story that details their attempts to fight against an evil being whose power is vast. A story that tells us about how they persevered against even the great odds: betrayals, death, doubts and even themselves. A story in which they succeeded in achieving their goals, no matter how impossible it may have been. A story so epic that the gods themselves would have sobbed at the end, for they would not have wanted the story to truly become complete. A story in which you, the reader, would probably want to read right now in order to feel what many others felt as they read it. However, this is not that story. This is a story about a boy. A boy who had succumbed to the terrors that lurked within the shadows of the Internet, and became one of them, spreading his chaotic influence far and wide. A boy who brought kingdoms to their knees with his terrible grammar, lack of maturity and incredibly short temper. A boy who believed himself to be the greatest being that had and will exist. A boy who lead a crusade against all that opposed him, conquering their lands and destroying their identity. A boy who was unstoppable in his quest, a simple quest which he began on a whim. Yet one single kingdom managed to halt his advance. The website known as BZPower, the biggest BIONICLE fansite on the Internet, tamed the boy, purging him of his chaotic powers and chaining him to their forums. Using the powers given to them as a side-effect of being a BIONICLE fansite, they forced him to join them, wanting him to use his powers for the alignment known as 'Lawful Good'. It was mostly successful, and the boy ended his crusade, returning his conquered kingdoms to the former owners. And so order returned to the Internet, allowing for normality to settle in again. The boy continued on with his life, becoming a more intelligent being that contributed more to the society of BZPower, maturing as he did so. With the influence the site had on him, his spelling and grammar improved greatly, and he was no longer the simple immature boy of the past, becoming what one would call, a 'man', or at least a teenager who had a greater understanding of the world. Under the name of Hubert, the boy, or teenager now, began to write stories, for his imagination had become restless after being locked up for so long. Fearing that he would begin a second crusade, the powers that be subtly nudged him in the direction of the Comedies forum, where chaos reigned supreme, and could be controlled by the most skilled of writers. Upon seeing this, the teen had smiled, and began to post his stories, all of which had come straight from the chaotic confines of his mind, where the essence of his imagination was locked up. However, none of his stories managed to become successful, and they began to fall into the void that all terrible stories existed in. But Hubert was not one to give up when confronted with failure. He wrote more stories, adding chapters after chapters in his attempt to make his mark on the forum. During this process he even made friends, or at least mutually beneficial partnerships with others, hoping for people to take notice of him. Yet when they did, he began to lose interest in them, and updates began to slow down as he tried to break free of his laziness. So when he was unable to, he left his stories lying there, watching them spiral into the abyss with gloomy eyes. With one of his favourite hobbies gone, the teen decided to settle down and merely read the stories of others. As the teen continued to read the stories of others though, there was a longing within him to write more stories. He tried to resist the call, but it was too strong. So with a dusty keyboard and a mind filled with the chaos and terrors of the Internet, Hubert began to type the very words you see here on this screen. He typed and typed, ideas flowing into his fingers as he crafted a tale from mere words. His methods were rather strange as well. During the time when he was not writing, the teen had absorbed many different and new ideas, hoping to one day use them. With the chance to write a story again, he got to work applying these ideas, and smiled when he realised what exactly he could do. Hubert was going to make himself the antagonist of his tale. With a laugh, he continued typing his story, hoping for it to have over nine thousand words and over nine thousand readers. He knew this was merely wishful thinking, but he had a massive ego, which could be easily shown in his rather insane methods of doing things. So he typed and typed, weaving a tale of futile resistance against the god of the story, himself, the being who controlled all within his imagination. The denizens of Spherus Magna would once again be dragged into the mind of a somewhat crazy guy, forced to go along with his machinations. And as the prologue of his story came to a close, the thirteen year old behind his computer monitor chuckled, leaning back as he said the words that would officially begin the tale. "I love being a writer."

Brad Borne just released his Fancy Pants World 3, and I must say, it's quite good. The physics engine is really nice, and it's hard to believe the guy made the whole thing with Actionscript 2.0. The last version of Actionscript. The bad one. Anyway, for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, check it out! You can get there by using this little thing that lives in the corner of your very own browser window: Google. For those of you who have already been playing Fancy Pants, there's a lot more stuff to do in this version, such as: new baddies, more NPCs, challenge and bonus rooms, and much more. Check it out guys! -CM

So, I purchased a lovely Zelda-edition 3DS with some money I got for Christmas and some out of my own pocket after the festive holiday. I have to say, it is awesome. Playing the classic game that got me into the Zelda series in 3D is fun, and due to the fact that I am used to 3D stereogram images the 3D bothers my eyes minimally. Actually, I think OoT is a great game to do in 3D, because there are many scenes that the 3D adds to well (such as Navi's flight at the beginning, establishing shots of dungeons, and basically any scene in the Chamber of Sages). Another great thing about the 3DS is its two external cameras, enabling you to take stereogram pictures. This was one of the biggest appeals to me buying one (the deciding factor was the Zelda-edition-ness). To demonstrate, I have put some 3D LEGO pictures here. Note that the images are crossview stereograms. Enjoy!

Rather a big fan of the movie Clue, but I've got strong opinions on the endings shown. Now, I understand it's meant to be truly ambiguous and, really, impossible to discern which is really the ending (the bit where it says one of them really is the real ending can be safely placed in the same category as communism, they're all equally right and wrong), but the third one, while entertaining, didn't convince me. For one thing, "Mr. Body"s motive for bringing them all there if he really is Mr. Body and not, in fact, Wadsworth, is suspect. Were he truly Mr. Body, and wishing to eliminate his spies, he would be more likely to take the option least likely to put himself at risk - not, as we see in the third ending, the one most likely to put himself at risk. Furthermore, what motive would "Mr. Body" if he really is the butler and not Mr. Body as he was shown to be in the unambiguous portions of the film, have to pretend to be Mr. Body, considering he was in a room full of people with perfect motive to kill him? No amount of money from his employer could be enough for that kind of suicide. Also, I firmly believe that only the true blackmailer could be that much of a sleazeball. He simply didn't have the personality for a butler - not deferential in the least, not polite, certainly not formal in any way. He did, however, have the personality of someone used to pulling the strings. I will reserve statement on whether I believe the first or second to be more likely. My goal here is simply to state that I believe the third ending to be the least probable (oh, and also to make sure my blog still works).

This is a topic for choir discussion in general. I wanted to make a topic for a specific favorite choir, but I realized that there was a whole lot more to talk about than just one and it would be ridiculous to post another topic specifically to talk about them if they're so closely related.Anyway, I'm in a choir but don't particularly enjoy it, so I've made it a one semester deal. I like singing, but I avoided joining choirs for a long time because I don't enjoy getting lost in a sea of voices while trying to sing my bit in the harmony. I came to that conclusion back in fifth grade. So don't ask me why all these years later I'm in a choir again. The only reason was because last year's choir president told me that if I didn't go out I was a fool.I don't know. There are things about choir I like, but other things that I don't like. I think that what gets to me is that around 80% of my choir is female. I've moved past the stage where I feel inherently awkward by this situation, but it's still not the right atmosphere for me, because I don't feel the chemistry. I think I would definitely prefer an all male choir.Speaking of which, I would like to say that hands down the most awesome choir I have ever listened to is The Vocal Majority. Unfortunately, their 8-disk long 20th Century Collection is a collectible and only has 3000 copies in circulation. I personally would have loved to have that. Well, though a little inconvenient, I still get to hear them from time to time on Pandora Radio, the only place online where I can find any of their music. Though I have yet to find anything comparable to the 20th Century Collection, I have managed to find individual albums by them on Amazon, and am highly considering buying several over Christmas break. I would suggest you look at their stuff. You won't regret it.- I'm Tron Paul and I approve this post.

Their coats are pure gold or silver, but still softer than a feather bed. They make good companions if you've got a good sense of adventure and when to run for your life.

This is a preview of my new epic. It is also my entry for the SS contest. Happy Halloween! ______ Two Le-Matoran stumbled down a wooded ravine, neither sure of where they were going. The air around them was cold and the sky was unnaturally dark—the sun’s efforts to reach them were defeated by the layers of thick, leafy tree canopies above them. “I told you we shouldn’t go out,” said the tall one. “Shut up,” said the short, round one. He tripped and fell first into a small creek. The tall one burst out laughing, both amused and thankful at the chance to stop. “So,” tall one said, taking a seat on the ground, “how many Rahi have we seen?” Short one spat a number of venomous curses in his companion’s direction. “None. That doesn’t mean I was wrong.” “But it does mean I was right.” Shorty sighed. “Look, I only know what I was told. That kid back in the village said he saw some animal or something, so the Turaga told us to check it out.” “You’re missing the point,” tall said. “I said that kid didn’t see anything. We both know he didn’t. If you don’t, you’re just… well, you’re just being stupid.” He glanced over his shoulder, before continuing somewhat ominously. “And we both know it’s time for the tribute.” Shorty laughed patronizingly. “Sure sure, I know all the stories. ‘Deep into darkness, a Matoran send, for the reign of terror, quickly to end.’ Do you really believe that? Do you really want me to believe that the Turaga would send two of his own to be eaten, or killed, or whatever you say, every month?” He looked away. “You’re the stupid one.” Tall sprung up. “Yeah, you laugh! You make fun of me, but you don’t realize what’s going on here! How many of us are there on this island? A hundred? Two hundred? And still we live in fear.” His companion stood. “Now wait a minute—” But Tall would not listen. “We out number him! We need to stand up to him, and show him the true power of what Matoran can do! There’s nothing that could stop us, if we put our minds to it! But not, instead we listen to feeble minded… twits like you who are fine with being slaves! ‘Oh no, the Toa will come they’ll save us…’ You’re the fool for believing that, let me tell you. There are no Toa. There never have been and there never will. We all know the Turaga just tell those lies to calm the hopeless. We’re alone on the island, each one of us, in more ways than one. We need to forget our pointless bantering and actually… do something!” The air chilled. Silence bid its way into the forest, as the two stood motionless. Shorty grasped for something to say, his face containing a look of anger and disgust, but he soon turned away. Tall at last spoke. “Let’s get back to the village already. There are no Rahi, no Toa and no Makuta out here. We’ve wasted our day.” “Do you really doubt me?” Tall’s eyes narrowed. The voice had been higher and gentler than Shorty’s. He must have not heard correctly. “What did you say?” Shorty turned to face him. “I didn’t say anything.” “But then who…” “I did.” Tall one nearly jumped out of his armor. He spun around to see another Matoran wearing a cloak. The newcomer’s Kanohi was entirely hidden by shadows. “Who… who are you?” asked Tall, backing up. By now Shorty had noticed and had likewise turned around. He was equally stupefied. “I have many names,” began the newcomer. “Some call me Everything. Some call me Nothing. But you, my children, may call me Master.” Shorty chuckled. “That’s a good one, Master. But really, who are you and what are you doing here?” But Tall was not so oblivious. “I don’t think you should…” “Oh please, he’s obviously crazy and just looking for someone’s attention here.” Scarcely had the words left Shorty’s mouth when he rose from the ground and was flung against a tree—he screamed in pain as he fell to the ground. Tall tried to move to help his companion but found himself unable to move. The newcomer slowly walked over to the fallen Matoran, his footsteps making now sounds as he drifted across the forest floor. “Pity,” he said, a touch of irony in his voice, “that any of my children must leave me.” Shorty started to scream. He flailed his legs violently as he clutched his throat, his yells becoming more and more muted… until finally they faded all together. The newcomer paused, looking down at the now-dead Matoran, before turning to Tall. He slowly and deliberately paced around Tall, speaking as he walked. “And so,” he said, “you have seen the fate of those who challenge me. You… have realized my awesome power and woeful might. And for that, you will be rewarded.” Tall relaxed himself. He found himself once again able to speak. “Thank you… master… what I said early was just… just talk…” “Stop the apologetics, before I regret my decision. There are a thousand ways I could kill you, each one of them more painful than the last. I have made more powerful beings than you scream in utter horror—screams which would make your blood curdle and your ears cry for mercy. It is only by my benevolent grace and mercy that I do not decimate this island, and all those whom you call brother with it. No, you will not die. But rather you will serve as a reminder of my good will and you shall be a testimony to my hold over you.” In one fast motion, he threw back his hood. Tall was immersed in a bath of blood red terror. The newcomer’s eyes tore through Tall’s mind and soul, as though they searched through every moment of his life. All in one moment Tall’s greatest fears were realized around him, while he saw his greatest desires shattered. He saw his loved ones dead, as his enemies stood over their bodies. Every awful moment of his life was relived, even as the good were forgotten. It was over in a matter of seconds. Tall fell to the ground, twitching slightly. He muttered incomprehensible nonsense under his breath, his mind having been destroyed completely and utterly. The newcomer sighed. He replaced his hood, and his blood red eyes were once again hidden by the shadows of his cloak. He looked down at the now demented Matoran. “Do not forget. I am everything. I am everywhere. I am forever. I am Makuta.” And he was gone.

Anyone watch either of these? NCIS stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service, while NCIS: LA is basically the same except LA is Los Angeles. I personally love both of these but LA keeps me more entertained.
