I'm wondering what would have prevented g2's end and also how kids could have noticed the sets on the shelves because it seems like g1 wasn't difficult to notice thanks to those canisters and it's how I first noticed bionicle so I'm wondering if that's a leading factor's in it's early death Here's my video discussing this topic: Video with inappropriate content removed. -B6

So, yeah, I don't really make MOCs that often, and post about them even less often. But I built this a little while ago and finally got around to posting it on my LEGO blog (link goes to the post), and thought I'd put it on here as well. main closer underside rear open cockpit smile for the camera The wings have a mechanism so if you move one of them on one side it will move the other on that side in the opposite direction (eg, lift up the top one and the bottom one lowers). As the pictures show, the cockpit and the little slot for the droid both open up. The ship has a bit of backstory, but I can't exactly remember what I came up with when I made it. I think it was something like a rogue group of Rebels broke off and started up their own more vigilante-like alliance and rebuilt or repainted a few X-Wings to be black and red, or something like that. I think the nose of the ship could've used some more work (maybe should've been a bit longer and I would've liked to add more detail), but I was getting tired of my floor being covered in LEGO so I had to finish it to clean up. Thoughts/criticism welcome, although I'll probably be disassembling it pretty soon (MOCs don't last very long with me, I like to have all of my LEGO organized).

Hey guys, So recently I've been working on remastering the Bionicle Movie Trilogy from 2003-2005 by Miramax and Creative Capers. Here's a sample clip of how it looks so far and there are more details in the video description. What do you all think? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ-8IrjL0bc&t=1s

Today I was thinking about how Bionicle is the first theme to be outright rebooted/revived by Lego. Then I thought, why couldn't that happen for other themes? So, I have three questions for you: 1. Do you think Lego will revive other themes? 2. What themes would you like to be brought back? 3. Which themes do you think are most likely to be brought back? Personally, I would like to see a modern take on classic Space subthemes like Exploriens or U.F.O.

Hey everybody! Does anyone know where I can find scans of the pages from the BIONICLE art book? I heard that BS01 was going to put scans of the pages on their website. Does anyone have any info on that? Thanks! ~Kopaka out~

This is a little scene I built during the summer after I looked at some of the Lego Ideas Book. I couldn't resist expanding on one of the concepts shown - a shipwreck of an old galleon! Gallery (when public) If pirates tickle your fancy, be sure to check out the gallery for more pirate tomfoolery!

I was just at LEGO Land in Billund, Denmark (woo!) and I noticed that there was next to no BIONICLE sets left, however both phase 1 G2's Lewa and phase 2 G2's Gali were in massive leftover quantities, left in bargain bins while a mix of other G2 sets remained at full price on shelves. Looking back, was there just less love for the G2 Lewa and Gali sets, or do you think it was a coincidence at one of LEGO's most highly visited stores? photo credit http://lopez-the-heavy.deviantart.com/art/Lewa-Is-Sadness-478068157

I've heard a few other members talk about this important milestone, and at BrickFair VA this year I realized I had accomplished the same thing: Over half of my life has been on BZPower. How ridiculous is that?!?! For the amount of time I've been alive, more than half of that time has been deeply invested in the discussion of a particular LEGO theme, connecting with others who share that passion, meeting them, keeping in touch, and caring for everyone that has made an impression. Half. Of. My. Life. Thanks, everyone. Where would I be without BZPower? Without Bionicle? Probably not building with LEGO. Probably not traveling across the country to tour Pikes Place Market and hike the Cascade Mountains. Not visiting New York City multiple times. BZPower has always been about the people. From posting in the Forums chatting with strangers, to meeting them in real life and hanging out with internet friends. You all are what keep me coming back for more. And let's hope there isn't a point where half of my life hasn't been on BZPower. Or at least, without spending time with BZPower buddies. -CF

Hello everyone, My local high school is hosting an arts commission festival titled "Films in Five" where you had to create a video that runs 5 minutes or less. My entry for the event is a short adventure skit involving my favorite Toa of Ice, Kopaka. It took about 4 months to create (On and off), and it just got accepted into the festival and will be shown there on October 1st! I'm so excited for other people to see it, especially on the big screen! I wanted to share it with everyone on BZPower too. I hope you enjoy the film, and tell me what you think of it below!

So when I was around 12 I decided to sell all my bionicles, mainly because I just wasn't into collecting them as I used to be, and we couldn't afford to keep buying every single one when they came out. Not to mention they took up an insane amount of space. It was also a huge problem when my mum's friends came over with their kids, cause there was no way of keeping the bionicles away from them, and every time they left after like 10 hours, I have to spend a good 3 hours re organizing them into the exact positions they were in. Anyway, recently I saw an insane custom built bionicles on DeviantArt, and I really want to make my own. But I don't want to have to buy full bionicles just to end up using like 2 parts from each. Is there any program like the Lego Digital Designer, where I can assemble the parts without having to buy them, and then order it. The problem with LDD is that they shut down the model delivery option, and it never actually had any bionicle parts except the arm and leg plates. I read somewhere on here about someone asking people whether they'd like a BIONICLE-only CAD program, the topic was made in 2011 and I have no idea whether it ended up being made or not. If not, is there any way I could see what my bionicle would look like instead of ordering 500 parts and going from there?
