  1. Ok, for the epic I'm writing, Power Rangers: Gekifury, I need some help. For those of you not familiar, there are martial arts, the Fists, the evil side is Confrontation Beast Fist (from the Japanese Gekiranger), not sure what the Jungle Fury version is called, if anything. The good side is Fierce Beast Fist (Pai Schwa? something like that in English). In it I decided instead of just animal based fighting styles, I'd also use virtue based styles. If anyone could help me decide what the different virtues should do in combat, please post. Here's a virtue list: Acceptance: To consider circumstances, especially those that can not be changed, as satisfactory. Bravery: A quality of spirit that enables you to face danger of pain without showing fear. Caution: Avoidance of rashness, attention to safety. Curiosity: A desire to find out and know things. Defiance: Bold resistance. Determination: Firmness of purpose. Devotion: A great love or loyalty, enthusiastic zeal. Discretion: Being discrete in ones speech, keeping secrets. Flexibility: Adaptable, able to be changed to suit circumstances. Focus: Concentrated awareness and effort. Forgiveness: To cease to feel angry or bitter towards a person or about an offense. Generosity: Giving or ready to give freely, free from meanness or prejudice. Gentleness: Moderate; mild, quite; not rough or severe. Gratitude: Being thankful. Honesty: Truthful; sincere; not lieing or cheating. Humbleness: Modest; not arrogant or boastful. Humor: The ability to perceive, enjoy, or express what is amusing, comical, incongruous, or absurd. Impartiality: Fair. Industry: Diligent, hardworking. Innocence: Guileless, not guilty. Justice: Fair, impartial, giving a deserved response. Kindness: Friendly, helpful, well meaning. Love: A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness. Loyalty: Steadfast in allegiance to one's homeland, government, or sovereign. Faithful to a person, ideal, custom, cause, or duty. Majesty: Great and impressive dignity. Moderation: The avoidance of extremes in one’s actions or opinions. Obedience: Willingness to obey, to be controlled when necessary, to carry out orders. Openness: Ready and willing to talk candidly.Unsecretive. Patience: The ability to endure delay, trouble, pain or hardship. Peace: Freedom from mental agitation; serenity. Prudence: Wise or careful in conduct. Shrewd or thrifty in planning ahead. Reliability: Can be trusted to do something. Responsibility: Having control over and accountability for appropriate events. Sensitivity: Heightened awareness of oneself and others within the context of social and personal relationships. Simplicity: Straightforward; not complex or complicated. Unpretentious. Sincerity: Free from pretense or deceit in manner or actions. Sobriety: Serious, solemn and calm. Free from intoxication. Spontaneity: Natural, not planned. Steadfastness: Firm, resolute; determinedly unwavering. Strength: Capable of exerting great force. Toughness: Strong and durable; not easily damaged. Tranquility: Serenely quite and peaceful; undisturbed. Trust: Having confidence in others; lacking suspicion. Trustworthiness: Able to be trusted or depended on; reliable. I've decided on the following: Patience: the user strikes but the blow does nothing. The user then releases their animal spirit into the enemy at point blank. Acceptance: the user, when he/she feels accepted by his/her comrades, can call on their animal spirits as well in one unified strike. Defiance: don't know Devotion: don't know Focus: don't know Love (likely): don't know if I'll even use this one Humor: probably something non offensive... But if anyone can come up with good ones, please post them.
  2. Since Disney really screwed up Power Rangers since they got it (though I don't recall any horrible Wild Force episodes, and Jungle Fury is actually good, tied with the best along with Wild Force), I'm going to write an epic of Jungle Fury, starting from the start of the series, and taking Gekiranger elements and mixing them in along with my own unique elements and making it an epic. Changes will include terminology, non sunglass morphers, reffering to Dominick as either Dominick or Nick (Dom? Why did they think that was a good idea?), along with making no Dai Shi, or maybe he's dead by now, not imprissoned...and instead of the Jarrod/Camelle (sp) characters, using the Rio/Mele from Gekiranger as the enemies, but still keeping the Rinshi footsoldiers and the Overlords/Phantoms (Mythical Beasts). I'll work on this soon, can't wait to start writing this. Also, some original ideas, just one for now, instead of just having the animal "Fists", there will be other types, like the "Fists of Principle", like, one that Rio will learn probably immediatly, "Patience Fist", strike the enemy, but conceal your power, and then unleash it around the limb you struck with in one shot. So if he leaps up and kicks his enemy, nothing happens, they don't even take a physical blow, but then, around the foot his lion spirit is spread out and throws the enemy back with even more force than usual.
  3. The final version, no prototype for Taka. After being restored to his original form by a Klakk and departing Karda-Nui, the Toa of Light has been granted a black and white sense of justice, prosecuting those whom he deems as evil, black, while helping those who he views as good, white. There is no grey for him, his time as grey has shown him that it is unnatural, that even though everyone has light and darkness, they are one of the sides, not grey. His old allies, the Toa Nuva he views as black and wishes to slay them all, though he hasn't tried anything of the sort yet, his feelings are sometimes stronger than his morals, and he can't bring himself to slay his friends. So, as such, he acts as a wanderer, viewing anyone who opposes Metru-Nui, the final salvation for those who don't side with the Empires, as black, and anyone against the Empires as white, except those who are the rebellion. Despite opposing the Empires, Takanuva views the Resistance, even though he knows some members such as Krakua and Helryx, as black. He also views them as the lesser of two evils. So, with his Avohkii, new Staff of Light, light elemental powers, and his new will and mindset, he wanders, going through parts of the individual Kingdoms, never venturing to the base islands of his former comrades, and persecuting as he goes... One Two Three Four Five Six
  4. Gali 1 Gali 2 Gali 3 Gali 4 Onua 1 Onua 2 Onua 3 Onua 4 Onua 5 I'd like criticism, comments, etc. so I can make the final versions better. I'll explain a few things as well. Gali: Her armor is suited to a water environment, her water kingdom, all I could think of (and this image just came to mind, as did Lewa (not the prototype, the final matches what I imagined) and a possible Tahu Phoenix form which I'll look into) was basically just a new body type, like the newer sets, similar grey armor to her Nuva form, so I used grey as a secondary color other than Nuva armor, I will fix the shoulder armor in the final as I did with Onua, Takanuva (up tommorow) and the final Lewa. For an aquatic form I figured, give her a tail, it can help with steering in the water, her flipper axe things were an obvious choice, and her fins were as well. Her Kanohi fits, other than color, but I don't care about that, and I couldn't think of a good weapon, so a shield and staff, no launcher unlike Lewa and the others will have. I'll probably give her a launcher, but her tail could be considered one and likely in story will be. Onua: I wanted something new for the arm design, instead of using like Inika arms or anything, so I looked at my Mazeka set and copied the vehicle's leg design for Onua's right arm. Storywise he lost his arm in combat (since the Nuva are generals of their armies) and has a robotic arm, and hence no Nuva armor on it. More will be added to it, likely a blaster and laser scope or something. That's all. Tommorow I'll update with Takanuva (likely a final version, I don't think this would be a prototype), hopefully a completed Onua and another completed Nuva if not just a WIP again. The final Lewa and Gali (assuming I get feedback on her) will be up when the epic comes out later this year. I also built a special MOC today for later in the epic, an idea that I got from this site and a fake image, but that picture won't be up until the epic is out and I reach a certain chapter. I'm hoping to do something really special for that character and part of the epic. I'll let you know how that goes. It makes me laugh, how many parts I'm using, redicoulus (sp), I made a handfull of Toa for the same epic, (Mazeka, Vultraz, Balta, Defilak, Velika, Garan, Kazi, Dezalk) and now they're all in pieces along with my Piraka, some of Karzahni, Exo-Toa and a lot more (which also made me crack some of the lime green parts on my Lesovikk...), but hopefully this will work for the best. If anyone would like to assist me in creating these MOCs, the Nuva, Toa for the Nuva's armies, etc. just PM me. I'll gladly take the help.
  5. After reading the OoMN page on BS01 and wanting to finish Destiny War and Dwellers in the Darkness (or whatever the Hagah serial is called) and learn more of the war, (don't really care at this point about Brothers in Arms, just want to know of the war), I've decided to use the information, like the Tahtorak plan to wipe out the Skakdi on Zakaz, I'm going to make an epic based on the war soon to incorporate all this knowledge we have and make it good.
  6. Ok, here's the prototype. One Two Three Four Five Six
  7. Should I write Invasion as an epic? Invasion is the cancelled Legends book that would have told the Inika's story of traveling down the Cord, anyone think I should write it with the information we know, as an epic?
  8. Prologue: Aikka walked through the palace on Nourasia, the sun was setting which cast a pinkish glow on the walls. It had been one year since the Great Race of Oban had ended, though he faced hardships during that time, he decided it was better than what was currently happening, other than one detail, his fiancé. He entered the bedchamber, there was only a bed in the open, the dresser, wardrobe and other such items were against the walls so no possible assailant could hide behind them and wait for the occupant, in this case the King of Nourasia, to sleep. The windows were barred and he checked under the bed and inside the wardrobe, revealing no one. Since his father, King Lao, had died about six months ago, and his mother, Queen Nori, had refused to rule alone, or remarry, Aikka had been crowned King, despite being young and unmarried. He saw a small picture of himself on the dresser next to the bed, it wasn’t his bedchamber, it was his fiancée Luna’s. Luna had reported to him that she felt odd sleeping in there, she felt threatened, so he had taken her chamber for the night and she his. He felt fine with it, especially since only they knew in case of an assailant in the castle, and he had no threats on him yet, which gave him an odd feeling, why was Luna feeling threatened? He slipped his armor off and threw on a light white robe he had brought with him. He put his dagger next to the picture of himself and laid down in the bed, then he heard the stealthy scratching sound. He heard it once and wasn’t sure if he had imagined it, he was tired, or if it had been there. He put it out of his head and threw the covers over his body and was ready to sleep, when he heard it again, nearby. He sat up and grabbed his dagger and got out of bed. He drew the blade and put the tip of the blade under the pillow and lifted it up slowly to reveal a scorpion with tail reared back. Had he laid his head upon the pillow it would have struck. It saw him and reared back to leap forward and strike when he withdrew his blade, allowing the pillow to fall back, and he slammed the flat of his blade on top of the pillow repeatedly, crushing the scorpion into a crushed heap and red stain on the sheets and pillow. Canaan ran in and expected to find Luna, but found Aikka and saw the mess, “What happened?” “Someone put a scorpion under Luna’s pillow, someone tried to kill her. It’s good she wanted to swap rooms for the night, she felt threatened in here.” Aikka replied. “But this room is guarded all day until evening when the chambers are locked down, so how did someone sneak that in?” Canaan wondered. Aikka walked to the window and tugged on one bar, it came loose and off, “Someone cut through them and replaced them, that’s how the assailant got in.” Aikka told Canaan. “But why would someone want to kill Luna, not you? Surely this was an attempt at her life, you would have been a swifter target to execute surely.” Canaan said. “I know, that’s what bothers me.” Aikka replied as he stripped the bed bare of its sheets and pillow, all that was stained, “We’ll figure it out in the morning.” “I’ll position a guard at each of your doors and take a look at the windows in your chamber and take care of these bars before I go.” Canaan told Aikka. He nodded and wondered, Why would Luna be the target? What importance does she have other than my fiancé?
  9. I have a new Oban Star Racers Season 2 epic coming soon, I finally started today and it should be good. I had an old one that I won't finish posting likely, I'll post it elsewhere, somewhere else with forums, but Shadows of Destiny will continue at some point for a few chapters at least, likely, but I lost about five chapters I won't post since I won't rewrite them, but A New Enemy will be more original than Shadows was, keeping the same characters, some of the same events (Luna's for instance), and I think that's all I have to update with.
  10. Somehow I'm out of the many parts I use in MOCing already after only building these for my epic, Kingdoms of Nightmare: Toa Mazeka Toa Vultraz Toa Defilak Toa Garan Toa Balta Toa Dezalk (Balta and Dezalk aren't great, I shouldn't have made two Toa of Fire, Dezalk I had to use too much black on (I picture him as red and black armored)) And I still have to build these: Toa Velika (I don't have much brown for MOCing, I have to get other sets out to do so) Toa Kazi (used to much white on Mazeka, I don't have much for him)
  11. Grey Snow

    2 New Mocs

I'll post them later, with Kingdoms of Nightmare, but expect these MOCS, only the first two are done, but expect the others sometime. 1. Toa Mazeka 2. Toa Vultraz 3. Toa Balta 4. Toa Kazi and some more.
  12. Mainly an epic update. Legacies of the Final Battle: Ah, the 08 epic, coming along nicely, haven't worked on it recently though, mainly because of a few other epics I'm doing and I have to wait to know how 08 ends before I can finish this one since I want to end it right. But it is great so far. Power Rangers: Mythic Force: Ah, nicely as well, and let me say, this kind of fighting is hard to write. I don't go into the more personal stuff like the show does, not my writing style, but I don't think fans of PR will be dissapointed, 13 chapters done so far, the first arc consists of 15, the final arc is around that many if not more. Kingdoms of Nightmare: First chapter preview, but anyway, 3 chapters done so far. First is the leadership change and a mysterious mission. Chapter 2 is the results of the mission along with new recruits in the form of Toa Voya and then six members of the team venture to Mata-Nui and end up dueling the sand worms which leads up to some more new allies in the form of some Rahi. Chapter 4, I'll start likely tonight, will mark the teams strategem against Lewa and possibly, new allies in the form of former Hagah enemies (not that there are many, so you should get this one) and then the departure to former Xia, the site of Lewa's kingdom which all leads up to invasion.
  13. Chapter 1: Krakua stood on Metru-Nui, gazing out into the sea. “Helryx should have returned by now.” He muttered to himself and turned back to the staircase next to him, leading down into a series of secret tunnels and rooms, the base of the resistance. Brutaka approached him, since his exile in the Pit he had mutated, but over the thousand years since then, he had managed to partially rebuild himself along with evolve to a point where he had a few sets of small lungs, working together as his normal lungs once had, as well as losing his spiked armor and dorsal fin along with the gills, “Any word yet?” He asked. Krakua shook his head as he walked past, “No, and she went to see Gali two days ago. Do you think she’s dead?” Brutaka was a bit surprised by how Krakua had ended the question, “No, she’s skilled enough; I don’t think she’s dead, though if she did die, it was most likely against Gali.” Krakua turned to him, “You think she got past the Gate of Macku?” “Yeah, I’m sure she did.” Brutaka sat down, “If only the Nuva hadn’t struck at Teridax in the end this wouldn’t have happened…” He muttered. “They didn’t know! None of us did!” Krakua snapped. “If we had known we’d have them all.” Brutaka cursed. “If Artahka would have stayed out of it!” “Artahka didn’t know either!” Krakua yelled at Brutaka, “He thought he was doing the right thing, teleporting the Nuva to Teridax’s location after the Makuta invasion was wiped out, sending Takanuva away to be helped by a Klakk; he thought he was doing everything right.” “Yeah, and then Teridax tore their minds apart like the monster he is, and out of spite restored their minds with darkness, just out of spite! Why couldn’t he just die like his precious Brotherhood?” Brutaka yelled. A bat winged Rahi flew into the chamber and dropped off a small tablet to Krakua before flying off again. He took it and Brutaka tore it from his hand and looked over it, “No.” He muttered. Krakua took it and read it, “It’s from Helryx, I recognize how it was written, water beat the symbols in.” He said, but clearly Brutaka knew already as Krakua read, ““They are too strong in their realms, our powers are below theirs if we fight them in their kingdoms”. What does that mean?” “It means you Toa are underpowered because of the Nuva’s armor!” Another voice snapped. Krakua turned as the Dark Hunter leader emerged from the shadows, “It means that since the Nuva forged their kingdoms in their elements their armor makes them stronger, through adaptation.” Brutaka swiftly drew one of his daggers and pointed it at The Shadowed One, “This is private.” “I know, our so called leader is dead. How long could you keep that from the rest of us?” He asked. Brutaka sheathed his dagger and brought up his double bladed sword, “Look, I don’t know why Helryx let you join us after blindsiding us once the Makuta were slaughtered, but she’s dead now which puts me in charge, so be obedient and quiet or die.” Brutaka growled. “Fine. I don’t see why you should lead though, I led the Dark Hunters, I should lead.” “Because Helryx and I were the only remaining members of the Order of Mata Nui, and with her dead, the leader of the Order and us, I take command.” Brutaka replied, tightening his grip on his blade. Krakua walked between the two, “But Brutaka, you’re forgetting the servants of the Order, like myself and Umbra who survived.” “All you are is as you said, servants, not members.” Brutaka replied. Krakua took up the tablet again and looked it over carefully before, for some reason, triggering his Kanohi on the stone. “Brutaka, this stone is sentient.” Brutaka turned, “What?” “It has a mind, not much of one, but one none the less. Do you think Helryx had something to do with it?” A being with sleek black armor walked out, “Here’s her Kanohi, she left it behind.” Brutaka took it, “Lariska, where did you find this?” “Hidden behind some stones, she took another Kanohi though, I’m sure that brought the stone a mind with it.” Lariska replied before going back farther inside. “Why would she do that?” Brutaka muttered to himself. “Maybe as a message to me.” Krakua replied. “What sort of message would she give you by just giving that a mind do you think?” Brutaka asked. “Well, I think it means I should have more importance here, maybe she wants me to lead us now.” Krakua replied, tightening his grip on his sword in case Brutaka was furious at that statement. “You lead?” Brutaka asked, “You’re a Toa, a servant of the Order. It should be myself, or even The Shadowed One who should lead.” “At least give me a chance.” Krakua pleaded, “What if that’s what she wanted by giving this message?” “Fine, try it for a few days.” Brutaka shrugged, “I’ll be here to take control again when you can’t handle it.” “Helryx was a Toa, so am I, so you don’t think I can lead?” Krakua demanded. “No, I don’t, but try.” Brutaka finished and walked inside. Krakua sat where he was and thought about what to do first, “What would Helryx do?” He asked himself. He knew the Nuva were each in their own kingdoms and they wouldn’t dare attack Metru-Nui, even to destroy the resistance since it might kill Mata-Nui who was still asleep. “Helryx apparently fought Gali and died, so they might get suspicious if someone else attacks Gali, so let’s attack another…Lewa.” He stood up, “That’s it!” He ran inside the rest of the base, knowing their first move. Soon Krakua, Brutaka, Lariska and Lurker, all wearing cloaks of weed and fiber walked through the streets. They were full of Skakdi of many elements, all escaped Zakaz when the Nuva wiped them out shortly after taking their empires. Visorak, Matoran, Toa and Turaga of other elemental types such as gravity and sonics who tried to escape the Nuva’s attacks and ended up in the relative safety of Metru-Nui. “Where are we going?” Brutaka demanded. Krakua didn’t answer. “Answer.” Lurker hissed, his stinger laden tails moving around, wanting to strike. Lariska also remained silent and he wrapped one around her body, “You know where we’re going, now tell me!” She relaxed and slipped out before hitting Lurker’s feet with a sweeping kick which put him to the ground, “Krakua trusted me with this information for a reason and I’m not telling either of you.” “Why would he trust you?” Lurker hissed, standing and poising his tails to strike. It had piqued Brutaka’s interest and he turned to listen to them better. “Because,” Lariska said with a shrug, “I’m the only one here he can trust.” Krakua stopped on the other side of Metru-Nui. They had waded through Visorak, many other species of Rahi, Skakdi, Vortixx, members of Sidorak’s and Krekka’s species, Toa, Turaga and Matoran of Gravity, Sonics, Lightning, Plasma, Iron and very few of the main six elements. Krakua led his group into a small alleyway and crouched down. The others joined him and Brutaka looked around, “Nothing, so why are we here?” “Well, Gali should be suspicious if someone made it to her, so most likely she alerted her brothers so they’re all on alert. So, striking now would be expected, moronic and a complete suicide mission, exactly what they wouldn’t expect. So we’re recruiting.” Krakua explained. He felt a blade to his back, “Krakua, I’m taking leadership. Your plan will have us all killed.” Brutaka told him. Krakua stayed down, he knew he had allies, and as such Lariska leapt up, landed on Brutaka’s shoulders, and placed her daggers at his neck. Brutaka knew he couldn’t strike Lariska down without Lurker and Krakua attacking him, and attacking Krakua would mean Lariska would kill him. “Fine.” Brutaka dropped his blade and Lariska flipped off of him, “But what are we doing here? Who is there to recruit?” “Helryx once spoke of a group made by an aquatic agent in case of emergency, to handle the everyday dangers the Matoran face. We’re recruiting them, I’m sure their leader will be happy to help, and here, hidden, their minds shouldn’t have been warped by the Nuva, they had no one to try to convert here, or so they thought,” Krakua gestured to the hatch he uncovered, “and as such, they didn’t convert this team to their side, or kill them either.” He opened the hatch, “Let’s go.” He dropped down into the darkness.
  14. I need suggestions for serials I'm putting into my blog, one will be normal, one a blog type and one a podcast type, so I just need sugestions for what to write them on. My ideas as of yet: One involving Lesovikk's team (I think I'll do this one for sure, a podcast) One involving Nidhiki and Krekka's early missions (blog maybe) And that's all I have for ideas. I need some, so please give me any you have that I could do.
  15. Ok, that epic I've been mentioning (still don't have a set name), well tommorow I'll probably have started the first chapter or two and will post them here as previews when I have them done. I can't do more yet until the Matoran Universe map comes out though, but something to look forward to.
  16. Ok, look at my previous entry, I need a name for that epic. I'm thinking: Shadow Kingdoms Kingdoms of Shadow Kingdoms of Nightmare Rise of the Shadow Nuva Kingdom of the Shadow Nuva Anyone have any other ideas? Or which do you like the best?
  17. Let me know what you think of this. Years after the end of the Karda-Nui saga, the Toa Nuva were driven into insanity by Teridax who's plan had failed. In the process of said insanity, Mata-Nui was not awakened. Shortly after, Teridax reached out before dying and fixed the Nuva's minds, but corrupted them as well. Now, each rules as a king (or queen in Gali's case). Each rules their own kingdom, forged in their elements, destroying whole islands to forge their kingdoms. Metru-Nui remains, not even the Shadow Nuva foolish enough to dare try to take it in case it is destroyed. Each of the Toa has a following, such as Tahu, almost all Ta-Matoran and fire Toa and Turaga follow him (though beings like Skakdi of fire don't and were wiped out by Tahu's army, same with the other elements respectively). Only rebels who can see through their new actions dare stand against them. Takanuva, freed from his light drain by a Klakk is now a wanderer. He did take something away from his freement however, he has a black and white sense of justice and stands against the Nuva. The Order was wiped out in battle with the Brotherhood and then blindsided by the Dark Hunters, resulting in the three organizations being destroyed, only members (except the Makuta, servants) remain, in very few numbers. The Shadowed One, Brutaka, Helryx, Krakua and few more notable beings exist as rebels in Metru-Nui, where they know the Toa's armies won't dare strike. However, Helryx doesn't believe them unreedemable and went to see Gali. Gali was enraged and beyond talking, attacked Helryx. Helryx was slaughtered but she got a message back to Krakua before she was killed. The message had something along the lines of "They are too strong in their realms, our powers are below theirs if we fight them in their kingdoms", an ominous message. Krakua and others with him must now find a way to stop the armies from conquering more lands, by joining with the surviving members of the other tribes, like Magnetism, Iron, Plasma, etc. who the Toa slaughtered most of early on. But there's always threats like Takanuva who has grown in power tremendously, able to use the Av and Kra (Shadow Matoran) powers from Karda-Nui almost on command. The Nuva however, are waiting to claim final victory and rule Metru-Nui without a massive invasion force or destroying it in the process. How's that sound? I'm personally just bored and nearly out of stuff to write.
  18. More updates for Legacies of the Final Battle, the 08 epic. Karda Nui » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Ahkmou will have two forms in combat, my MOC and Kaji's MOC I requested. Mine is his original form and after he fights Taka he changes somehow, no idea how yet, not there yet. Order » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Only two chapters devoted to this really, it ended faster than expected, but the end of it ties it up but will dump some old favorites of mine into the next section. Order/Toa/DH » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «The defense of Metru-Nui begins, Dark Hunters with the Toa Mahri, Hagah, Krakua, Order Leader, and another mysterious Toa (I won't reveal who until the chapter is posted) all at war against the Brotherhood to save Metru-Nui. Others in the fight on the sides are: Order: Kardas, special trained Rahi called Blaster Turtles and I think that's it. Brotherhood: Rahkshi, Visorak, Zyglak and I think that's it. That should be it.
  19. LOTFB: Legacies of the Final Battle, the 08 epic I'm doing, is nearly done. I don't expect the rest of you to be near this point yet, I have a lot of time to write on weekends, no internet, well, little, at my cabin. So I've had a lot of work time. 21 chapters so far, working on 21, I'm in the end of it, the final battle in the Swamp, the Order's next move, and the Dark Hunter/Toa/Order-Toa mission. Though I can't finish until BL11 is out and I've read it so I know how to end it. This is getting fun to write, I've brought back Lost War characters like Oborn and Sarn for the Order's mission, included the FoF in it, well not the whole thing, just the end. Ok, major spoilers: Swamp: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Normal combat, etc., Ahkmouh is leeched and becomes a Toa of Shadow and Stone and fights Taka. Order Mission: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Suicide charge, most of the members attacking Destral in one move, including the Barraki, Piraka, Karzahni and Miserix with Ehlek's species as an army. DH/Toa/Order-Toa Mission: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Defend Metru Nui with the Hagah, Mahri, Order Leader, Krakua, another Toa (you'll see who when you read), Lariska, Falk and Doom (DH from Lost War), TSO, Voporak, TSO's bodyguard (can't think of how to spell the name), Master (another DH I created) and more defending the city from the Makuta who attack with Visorak, Rahkshi, etc. in one final defense. And with some of the casualties I think some of you will be mad at who I've killed off.
  20. Ok, not an update or asking, but a conference more or less. I know most of you if not all of you, myself included, have forgotten this, so I have some questions, just post your answers writers. 1. How far are you? 2. What year(s) are you doing? 3. What part of the year are you at? 4. How much more do you need to do (half a year, more, less, etc.)? 5. How much unique story (a lot, not much, etc.)? And that should be it. 1. Nearly half way done with summer story 2. 08, possibly 07 later 3. Summer 4. About half the year, a bit less 5. A lot, unlikely that I'll do serials in this, but I have recruiting for the war, extra battles in Karda-Nui, not just with Toa and Makuta, I have the Bom/OoMN war later, and more There's my evaluation, based on how far most of you should be by this point, let's go with a release of these by years end at the latest.
  21. Ok, Mythic Force, the characters will be at the end with images to help since I didn't want to take time going into more detail with description or anything, and I'm bad at starting epics, so it may not be good, and finally, fighting is hard to write since they flip around and stuff like that so much, but anyway, here it is. Chapter 1: Mythic Destiny Pt. 1 One year ago: “We found something Bede.” A young man, twenty four years old walked over to the pit. He was quite handsome, he had short black hair and was well muscled. “Yeah?” He called down, “What did you find?” “Come down and have a look!” His companion called back up. Bede slid down into the pit and looked at what was found, some old tablets, “Exactly what we were looking for!” Bede exclaimed and looked at them, reading the ancient Greek dialect. “What do they say?” His companion asked. “The first speaks of Medusa; the second speaks of the Gods.” Bede replied and looked at the bottom, “I can’t read this.” “Too old for even you eh?” His companion asked. “Too worn away.” Bede replied. He looked to his companion and saw something, he was stone. “What the hel#?” He demanded, dropping the tablets. A clawed hand took the tablets up, “Don’t do that!” The woman’s voice snapped. He looked and saw the claw had become human and before him was a woman, looking around twenty with jet black hair down a few feet and wearing what appeared to be ancient Greek garb. “Who are you?” Bede demanded. “I am Medera, I am the living embodiment of the one you call Medusa.” She replied. “You turned him to stone…” Bede muttered, looking around, trying to get out of the pit. “Don’t worry, you have a much better destiny, you will live, and you will strive, master.” She told him. “Master?” He asked. She bowed, “You revived me and now you shall have the power of the tablets, the Mythic power. Now Master, shall I take you to the temple?” Bede was shaking slightly, but smiled grimly and stopped, standing rigidly, “Yes, take me there.” She stood up and lighting flashed around them, taking them both. Present day: Thomas looked at the papers at his desk. He was twenty one and had a bit of a receding hairline, black hair, and wore a suit. “No, I have to be wrong.” He muttered and looked through the papers for the fourth time. He slumped in his chair, “No. Those tablets were found by reports, but their current locations are unknown. This isn’t good, don’t tell me…” The door opened and he slid the papers under a large book at his side and turned, “Yes?” A man walked in and Thomas was relieved, “Find anything?” The man shook his head, “No, nothing, but I did find something that may or may not be involved.” “What is it?” Thomas asked. “There were two researchers looking for the tablets and neither returned from Greece, hel#, no one in Greece knows where they are, I was looking through Greek documents.” “Who are they?” Thomas asked him. “One is named Bede Damen, he never returned, the other is named Charles Korkrin, and the thing is, he was found, or a hoax possibly. They found him in stone, they still don’t know if it was him or a fake, but obviously, a fake.” Thomas nodded, “That will be all, thank you.” “You don’t actually think it was him?” The other asked. “I do, I know you don’t believe in this, but I do, I think this is all happening for real.” The other man left the room, leaving Thomas alone in the small office. Thomas opened a drawer at his side and pressed a small button in the back of it and stood up, “I think it’s time I acted on my suspicions.” He told himself and left the building. On the other side of town in a martial arts building stood two men, their arms up and at each other, their elbows bent, their hands flat and facing upward while their left arms were tied behind their backs. One had short blond hair and the other brown, both wore the same white uniforms of the school. “Begin!” Their instructor yelled. They forced their arms against each other, trying to get a grip, but couldn’t. The blond one pulled back and threw a punch at the other’s body. His opponent sidestepped and span around, and sent a chop at the head. The other dodged back and rocked forward again, throwing a punch at the torso. He was barely blocked by the others hand and saw his opponent jump and spin around, throwing a kick. The blond man ducked and sent his elbow up and landed a blow on the torso and their instructor called, “Enough.” They untied their arms and bowed to each other, “Grey, Ben, excellent work.” A new voice told them. They turned and saw Thomas walking in who bowed to the instructor. “Thomas, to what do I owe the honor?” The instructor asked. “I’d like to see your best students, and last you told me it was these two.” Thomas replied. “Yes, Grey and Ben are my best students.” The instructor replied. Thomas nodded, “Grey, Ben, could you come with me?” Thomas asked. They looked at each other and followed Thomas out, grabbing their clothes as they left. In Thomas’s office at his home he turned to the two, “Ok, now I need to tell you two everything, I’m sure you two can be a big help to me.” “Everything about what?” Grey asked. “About an incident in Greece last year. Two men went to Greece seeking ancient tablets, well, apparently they were found and one of them turned to stone, the other man left and has become corrupted, an enemy.” Thomas started. “What are you talking about?” Ben asked. “I fear the other man, Bede, has allied with the enemy that was incidentally unleashed and is planning to attack most likely.” Thomas finished. Grey laughed, “What the hel# are you talking about? What nonsense is this?” Thomas shook his head, “Believe me, we have proof. We need you Grey.” He looked to Ben, “What about you?” “It depends on what you really want.” Ben replied. Thomas looked at them, “Ok, when something happens I’ll alert you two and then you’ll see. For now just go on and take these.” He opened the drawer and took out a steel briefcase and opened it, revealing three oval shaped grey objects with symbols on one end, one being a red phoenix, one being a blue lion head with three marks following and the last being a white unicorn head. “What are these?” Grey asked. “Just take them and you’ll know when the time is right.” Thomas replied as they each took one and Grey took a second, “Good, just take it.” Grey had taken the red and white ones while Ben had taken blue. “Ok, now go you two, I’ll find a way to contact you as needed.” Thomas told them and turned back to his desk. Grey and Ben walked out and Ben turned to Grey, “What do you think?” “I don’t know, I don’t think Thomas knows what he’s talking about for one thing.” Grey replied. Thomas looked out his window at them, “Am I making a mistake?” He asked himself. Grey and Ben sat in their science classroom and spoke in hushed tones at their table so the other person, a girl named Kristen, wouldn’t hear them. “Do you think we should go back to see Thomas again?” Ben asked. “I don’t know, I’m not though.” Grey replied. Kristen, the same age as them with long blond hair, turned to them, “What are you two talking about?” She had heard parts, but not much. Grey turned to her, “Nothing that would interest you.” He replied coldly. “Ok,” she turned away from them, “just thought I’d ask.” She said a bit sadly. Grey and Ben went back to speaking until class began for their last class. Bede turned to Medera, “It’s time, my power has grown enough, we can launch our attack.” Bede growled. Her eyes widened, “Really? It’s time to attack?” “Yes, ready a creature.” She bowed; she now wore some light armor in red and black and walked away. Grey and Ben walked in Thomas’s homes direction. “So you decided to come, why?” Ben asked. Grey shrugged, “I’m bored.” He reached into his pocket and looked at the two devices he had and they started beeping. Ben’s started as well, “Could Thomas have been right?” He heard Grey ask. They looked ahead and saw a group of pure black fleshed beings in light grey armor resembling ancient soldiers; each held either a blade, shield or spear. Ben and Grey took fighting stances, “So he’s right.” Grey muttered. Coming from around the corner came a creature, a Centaur, apparently in command. “What the hel# is that?” Ben asked. “I guess it’s a Centaur of Greek mythology.” Grey replied, “What now?” “I don’t know, but we can fight, or try to at least.” Ben replied and ran at the closest soldier and punched it in the face, rendering it. The other soldiers saw and ran at him, readying their swords and spears. Grey ran in and took one out with a kick to the torso and another with a sweep kick, “Ok, now what?” He asked Ben. “I don’t think we can fight them all, especially not that Centaur.” Ben replied. The Centaur looked at them and laughed, “Ok, eliminate them!” It yelled to the soldiers. They ran at the two, “Yeah, we can’t beat them all before we get killed.” Grey told Ben. Grey saw something out of the corner of his eye, “Da#n it.” He muttered. “What?” Ben asked as he blocked the spear of one of them, yanked it forward, and delivered a kick to put the soldier down. “Kristen is here.” Grey replied. “What?” “Yeah, we can’t let her get involved, she’ll get herself killed.” Grey told Ben and ran off in that direction. The Centaur saw and sent two soldiers while the rest attacked Ben and the surroundings. Grey reached Kristen, “What are you doing here?” He demanded. “I just came this way.” Kristen replied, a bit in shock. Grey ducked and swept the footing out of one of the two and then delivered an axe kick to its torso to defeat it, “Get out of here.” He told her. “What’s happening?” She asked. “I’ll explain later.” He replied and ran to and jumped off the wall next to him and took out the second. Kristen nodded nervously as Ben joined them, “Ok, we’re outnumbered Grey.” He said. “I know.” Grey replied and heard more beeping from the devices. Gen looked at his and Grey took the other two out, “What’s this supposed to mean?” Ben asked. Kristen looked at one, “I’ll take a look…” Grey handed her one, the one with the unicorn head. “Thanks.” She murmured and looked it over. Ben put his on his left wrist, “Why do that?” Grey asked. “It might be the point of these things.” Ben replied, “And we have nothing to lose.” Grey nodded and strapped his on and Kristen followed suit. “Now what?” Grey asked. Ben started pressing in the symbol at the end, but saw nothing happen, “I don’t know.” Grey tried pressing in the bird head and just slammed his whole palm down which caused the whole symbol to move into an indentation in the device and it started to glow. “Ok, I get it…” Grey muttered, “Ben, Kristen, follow suit.” They nodded and pressed their symbols down and caused the devices to glow, the glow of red, blue and white respectively bathing their bodies. 22. Ok, what is your progress? I know most of you forgot, but what is the progress? 08 has I think ten written and starting eleven as the second in the Swamp, about five in Swamp, then more with OoMN and DH and then the Final Battle and War. Anyone?
  23. Ok everyone, how are you coming? I have about seven chapters done of 08, I haven't done 07 yet, 08's coming along fine. Post your progress and we should start posting soon.
  24. Ok, I have a question before I get too into Part 3. Do you prefer more of the parts being actual story, like The Rift, Powerless, Dead Walking (and the rest of Orwik's death), etc., or like Fragments, Shkorl, etc. that don't talk about the story, just side stories? I just need to know before I plan out too many chapters, I can say now that the first two chapters of Part 3 are actual story and the third is side story, but I need this advice now so I can figure out the chapters and where they'll go.
