A New Decade, Blog Contest Polls Go Down Tomorrow Night
Kylus posted a blog entry in blogs_blog_1563
Well, happy New Year everyone. Did anyone else watch Travis Pastrana jump a rally car 275 feet over water on ESPN? -
Wal-Mart sucks, so badly. I dragged my mom there last night after we went to Costco because they're right next to each other. I make my way over to the LEGO section because I heard that Wal*Marts are putting out 2010 sets early after their 2009 stock was wiped out from Christmas. Everything seems to be going okay, right? It turns out there was no LEGO section. Everything was so discombobulated, as if a tornado blew through there. You had to look up several aisles of other toys in hopes that you can find the set you want. I was looking for the Wal*Mart exclusive Toy Story Zurg set (purple). I couldn't find it, but I found the Army Men set and the on with RC, Woody, and Buzz. Even worse were the lines. Each one was more than 10 people deep, probably. I got on the self-check out line, until my mom and I decided to forget it. I have no idea why everyone decided to go out shopping for random stuff after Christmas. I really don't know why Wal*Mart didn't have more registers open. The only reason I'm blogging this is to warn you to never go to Wal*Mart unless completely necessary. It's so horrible, dirty and everything. I'm never going there for LEGO Bricks again, only for the Zurg set.

Today was my last day of school. I can't wait for Christmas. I think I'm getting the other 3 Stars, and Atlantis set (Monster Crab Clash. I know it's small but I really want those orange spikes), DJ Hero, and two LEGO Toy Story sets. Maybe more.

Tomorrow's my last day of school until break. I watched this very old version of A Christmas Carol today in the auditorium. I know you don't care, I just need to post an entry today. ---------------- So, I've been hearing about this Tobduk contest. I would love to enter, except I don't have a Sanok.

So I got a blizzard last night. I think we got something like... over a foot. I went sledding with a few friends at the local golf course. Tubes can go pretty fast. O.O --------------- Oh, and tell me what you think of this WIP: linkypoo #1 linkypoo #2

I went to my local TRU today. They had the following from Atlantis: Seabed Scavenger Typhoon Turbo Sub Gateway of the Squid Manta Warrior Monster Crab Clash Guardian of the Deep And I think I saw: Sea Jet Wreck Raider From Toy Story: Buzz Star Command Ship Construct-a-Buzz From Ben 10: Big Chill (Maybe it was SpiderMonkey, didn't pay attention) Oh, and HEAPS AND HEAPS of the Stars. I'm talking at least 50 of each one. I was there originally because I had to get my friend a birthday gift, but I couldn't resist strolling into the LEGO section. My mother got me the two Toy Story sets, except they're going under the tree.

Today's my BIRTHDAAAAAAYYY. Thanks to Brickeens for reminding me. ._.

I just got back from my celebration of my birthday. Although my birthday is really on Thursday, it felt great. I got really nice Jordan sneakers (myself and brother really like sneakers, we have collections of Nike sneaks). Among other stuff, like a new defense lacrosse stick, I got LEGO Architecture Fallingwater! I really love Frank Lloyd Wrights architectural work, and to have it in LEGO form is so nice. I already opened the box just to see what's inside, and WOW. LEGO did an amazing job here, it's clearly meant for collectors (AFOLs) and experienced, mature builders. The book about the architect and the building is great (it's actually a little thing in the front of the spiral bound instruction book). I'll be sure to mention more about the set once I build it. I'm getting more presents on my actual birthday, so I'll be sure to tell you if I get some Stars.

Oops, forgot to do it yesterday. I was too excite about the OBZPC thing. ANYWAY, this week's WIN is the MacBook. My mother upgraded from a MacBook to a MacBook Pro, so I got this MacBook I'm on right now. It's pretty nice having my own computer in my own room, being able to stream podcasts and listen to them while I'm on here. I really like the MacBook- same awesomeness of the Mac, just on a laptop scale. Awesome.

My mom upgraded from a MacBook to a MacBook Pro, so now the MacBook is mine. :3 Also, I tried Elf Yourself (Google it)-ing Creed Bratton. It was successful, I made 3 Creeds breakdance and do the Worm and stuff but- it costs $5 to download it. ;_;

I just put down about... eh, 20 small hot wings. Feeling a little sick. On an unrelated note, I'm taking pictures of the Mata Nui MOC right now, so that'll be up when I hit post 1000.

Thanks to Ziko for reminding me. Wow, it's December already. I think this week's win should be Brickshelf. I mean, I know it's been down, but now it's made a great and much obliged return. I'm really happy it's back. It makes me remember how great Brickshelf is. The only way it can be improved, IMO, is if they add a "multiple image upload" function. That would help a lot because it gets boring uploading 10 something images separately. Happy to see B-Shelf back, though.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the city right now.

I just got back from a long night. I went into New York City by train. My brother and father got tickets to a college basketball tournament at Madison Square Garden. It was great! The first game was U Conn vs. LSU, and the second was Duke vs. Arizona State. It was a busy and tiring night, but still fun nonetheless. I'm not that into basketball, but college sports are great.

It's 4:38 in the afternoon and it's already pitch black here in SUPER GRENADE New York. I mean, I know it's getting close to Winter and stuff but noreallywhatisgoingonhere

My dad agreed to take me to Toys R Us tonight or tomorrow in hopes of getting the Stars. Or Atlantis. Or Toy Story. Or Ben 10. I dunno, they all seem really good to me right now.

Well, days off are a common thing among all WotW, so this week's WIN is Veteran's Day. Another day off, and it's a Wednesday. Thanks to all of the great individuals who protect our freedom.
-
I just opened up a pack of 5-flavor Lifesavers Gummies... and there were only 4!
-
Snap, it's November already. The whole year was a blur. A huge blur. Anyway, this week's WIN is Election Day. For some Americans, it means a day off from school or work. I like the placement of it, too. It's always somewhere in the middle of the week. I love days off.

I just got back from a Halloween party. It was so much fun... we didn't go trick or treating because everyone already went in the daytime, but we played manhunt (a much coolified version of hide and seek) for a LONG time it the rain. It was EPIC. =D
-
Man, where did time go? It's Halloween already! I have my friend's party to go to later. What do you guys have planned?
-
I haz a day off from football practice today. I'm running out of things to blog about... the next on will be a win of the week, I guess.
-
This week's epic win is October. It's awesome on so many levels. Let me rattle of all of MY reasons why. -Columbus Day and Yom Kippur (even though I'm Catholic, I go to a public school)=two 3-day weekends -I have a book fair on wednesday -Football season -Major League Baseball post-season (i.e. the World Series) -Halloween -the anticipation of 2010 LEGO sets is building up So yeah. October is awesome for me.

I just played a football game this morning. We won big and everyone played well, including me. AND we got to play on the varsity high school field, which is this awesome artificial field turf, and there were grandstands there too.
