The Mask of Convergence Allows two our more beings to combine their physical, mental and powers together into a collective conscious. The host body looks the same, the other beings become energy and are absorbed into the host. If the host loses the mask the process can not be undone. -RollCall23

Why hasn't anyone thought of this before? I'd like to see someone make a Bionicle music video with the Bioman theme playing. There's also a modern sounding version on the album Memorial Soldier. *the name comes from Choudenshi Bioman, the eighth installment of Super Sentai, and one of those "lost" seasons of Power Rangers, which derives much of it's footage from Super Sentai starting with Zyuranger.

Hi, guys! Would you like thinking about yourself as a Toa? I mean, it would be cool if you are a Toa. So, like the title said, if you are a Toa, what kind of Toa would like to be? What I meant by that meaning what elemental power would you have as a Toa. In other words, what type of Toa would you like to be? You can also state your colors, weapons, and masks. For me, well, it goes like this: I would like to be a Toa of Earth because Earth is a cool power to have, as I can control the ground. My weapon would be the same hammer as 2016 Onua’s. My color schemes would be black (Toa of Earth have that as their primary color), dark gray, and purple. My mask would be the Kanohi Paraki, aka the Mask of Strength, because I would love to be super-strong. So, there. You see what I mean? What about you guys?

Hello again, It has been a while since my last post. Here I present to you all some images I took of the glorious inhabitants of Le Wahi. Lewa observing a Shrine. Vira conversing with a fellow Le-Matoran. Makuta... Lehvak emerging from the darkness. Matau giving out instructions. Nuhvok in the depths of the Fau Swamp. Lehvak attacking. I do hope you enjoyed them. Please comment!

So I highly doubt that the great beings just whipped Toa Helryx out of nowhere and created her right without having ever made any prototype Toa (Proto-Toa as I call them) so what do you guys think the Proto-Toa would have been like if we saw them in Bionicle cannon, or do you think that they never made any prototypes because they where just that darn good? Also, do you think that the Kestora (Which are basically prototype Matoran) could become Proto-Toa and/or that Proto-Toa could become Proto-Turaga? I'm very curious as to what the rest of the Bionicle community thinks about this, feel free to be overly specific.

Toa Meno are the protectors of the Northern Continent, brought together in a dire hour by the Great Spirit himself. Saukavi is the Toa of Ice and leader of the Team. He used to be an artistic ice carver living by the river. However, a vicious attack by the deranged being Havoc have left no ice block standing from his village. Miraculously saved by Toa Krakua, Saukavi and his fellow Ko-matoran were delivered to the doors of the Peaceful Thought Abbey led by wise Turaga Krosis. With Krakua's help, the Abbot was convinced to have the villagers taken care off while Havoc is still at large. Saukavi's Mask is Great Kanohi Kiril, Mask of Regeneration. His Toa Tools used to be his ice-cutting tools, an Ice Hook and a Saw Blade. Eshelzo (an OC of my spouse Demi) is a Toa of Sonics who used to be a Grey Monk in one of monasteries dotting the Northern Continent. But one day Havoc came and crushed the monastery along with all of its inhabitants. Left to be a sole survivor, guilt-ridden and frightened for his life, Eshelzo was discovered by Toa Krakua and delivered to the Abbey of Peaceful Thought where Ko-matoran Saukavi took responsibility of caring for him. Eshelzo's Mask is Great Kanohi Avoku, the Mask of Suspension. His Toa Tools are two Bell Hammers. Tamora is a Toa of Kinetics, a member of a very rare Elemental Tribe that lives in several isolated villages in hard-to-reach corners of the Matoran Universe. Toa Krakua found them in his search to stop Havoc from sewing destruction on the Northern Continent, following the Prophecy devised by Nuju Metru himself. Tamora was always special, dubbed Tumbleweed by their fellow Ki-Matoran for always following the winds of change, so when Krakua showed up in their village, it was clear as day that he'd leave with Tamora by his side. Tamora's Mask is Great Kanohi Garai, Mask of Gravity. Their Toa Tool is a Telescopic Staff, transformed from their stylus. The three met in the Abbey of the Peaceful Thought, and it's there that they have become the Toa Meno, transformed by a Suva built by Turaga Krosis in the time before Time. The newly formed Toa Team, with some help, have defeated Havoc and imprisoned him. During the battle they have attained their true Unity by fusing into a majestic Toa Kaita of Peace, Arkoa the Peacemaker. One of the recurring features among all three of the Meno, is the lens eyepieces embedded in their Masks. - - - The models were created as part of the commission by my friend Nat. The Toa Meno designs are based on drawings by Demitsorou

Hey, everyone. I'm looking for early (launch) releases of the Toa Mata posters that may or may not have been available only in Europe. My own collection is in pretty horrible condition. The front of each poster should only show the one Toa it came with in contrast to later releases that featured slides of all six Toa at the bottom (click here; compare Lewa, Pohatu, Kopaka, Onua and Gali to Tahu), while the back of each poster should feature this image (with subtle differences) of early 2001 sets, rather than the Turaga and Rahi (as per late 2001) or Bohrok (as per early 2002). Creases and wear are acceptable but I'm not a particular fan of tears. Let me know what you have either way! I'm offering cash.

Taweth and his team, consisting of two other Toa, were called to a small outlying village by the local Turaga. A number of Matoran had disappeared, and shortly after, strange, sickly green creatures emerged from the forest by night to attack the village... --- "Thank the Great Spirit you're here!" - The Turaga exclaimed as the guard led Taweth and his two companions into his hut. "Tell us about these attacks and disappearances, everything you can." - Taweth went straight to business. His name was known to all Matoran, Turaga and fellow Toa, and he was famous for his valor, honor and efficacy. " Of those who disappeared, all were foresters. Hunters, foragers, the like. At first we thought some dangerous Rahi had moved into the forest, but then the attacks began. Strange creatures, grotesque beyond description and glowing a sickly green, would shamble out of the forest after nightfall. We pushed them back every time so far, but each evening, more of our guard are dragged away. We hear their screams till dawn. "The forest seems to be the common link between the two problems, and I'm sure they're linked somehow." - Concluded one of Taweth's companions. "Indeed. The two of us will go into the forest to investigate, while you stay here to protect the village should another attack come." - He said, and headed off with one of his brothers. --- Taweth and the other Toa had been scouring the forest for some hours. The ground bore a jumble of strange footprints, but after delving deep enough into the forest, they noted a distinct, significantly larger set of prints, and decided to follow it. The prints led them to a secret entrance to a tunnel. They agreed to investigate right away rather than return to the village for their remaining brother. The tunnel was winding and dark, but after a few minutes of descent, they caught glimpse of a foreboding green glimmer. Turning a corner, they entered a large hall of horrors. In large vats, unconscious Matoran were floating in a green liquid. Some seemed perfectly normal, others already began to deform, while some were beyond recognition. "Antidermis?" - Taweth's companion asked. "Yes, but the Makuta took on gaseous forms eons ago. What kind of sick experiment is this?" - Taweth replied. They heard metallic clangs in the distance, as if something was knocked over. They proceeded with weapons drawn. "Remember, no matter what they may look like now, these are still Matoran and we are not to harm them." - Taweth said. A mocking laughter reverberated from the walls around them. Shadows stirred, but the curved glass of the many vats scattered what little light there was, so the two Toa couldn't located the source of the movement. "You Toa are so predictable... what better weapon could there be against you, than the one thing you're unwilling to harm?" - Said the voice. Finally, a tall spindly being stepped out from behind an unoccupied vat. He wore bluish-black armor, and his Kanohi Crast identified him as a Makuta. Taweth lunged forward, blades poised to strike, but the Makuta dodged in the last moment. His swords shattered the vat, splashing some of the liquid onto his left arm and mask. The Makuta turned tail, and Taweth, disregarding the pain in his arm, gave chase. He felt anger rise in him like never before. It was several minutes later that his companion, who lost track of Taweth and the Makuta, finally caught up to him in a different room of the laboratory. Taweth was standing above the badly mangled corpse of the Makuta. "Taweth... you... you know we cannot kill our opponents!" - The other Toa said, and only then did he realise the unnatural growths covering Taweth's arm. "Taweth, are you..." - He couldn't finish, because Taweth spun around and cut his head clean off. The Toa guarding the village was pacing up and down the wall, frustrated, scanning the treeline. Finally, he saw the red and silver of Taweth's armor. "Alone...?" - He thought to himself. As Taweth got closer, he saw the green tint of his arm and mask. "Something is wrong, I'm going to him." - The Toa said to the Matoran guard, and leapt over the wall. Running up to Taweth, he now saw the slight sickly glow around the mask of his leader, the grotesquely malformed arm. Even his heartlight no longer glowed its usual blazing flame red. "Taweth, are you hurt?" - He asked. "No..." - Replied Taweth. "... But you will be." This build started out as a kind of self-experiment with the goal of broadening my tastes in MOCs and MOCing by purposefully working on a concept I wouldn't like or do otherwise, so I picked a few criteria which I generally disliked: - Predominantly CCBS - Roughly within the limits of a set that would actually be released - Extensive use of silver on a build that isn't otherwise black/white/grey - Relatively high transparent part usage While the build itself may not be much, the experiment itself was a "success" in that I'm pretty sure I'll be appreciative of a wider range of MOCs in the future. More pictures here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmf1Nz8V I'm happy to hear any comments or criticisms.

Hero This story was based very loosely off the events of Ignition and the surrounding stories. It has been quite vastly changed to fit my storytelling needs. This story was written for Disciple, for the short story write-up jam for Christmas. I hope you all enjoy. I’m so sorry it’s so late. The entire story got very long so I decided to put it in a Google Doc. Read it here.

So I was rereading the BIONICLE Legends books, and a thought struck me. Why did Velika allow the Piraka to take over Voya Nui. Now, I know he was a Matoran, and could only do so much, (or so it seems given how easily he took out Tren Krom and Karzahni later in the story, but I'll get back to that later) but hear me out. The whole conquest of Voya Nui hinged on tricking the Matoran into thinking that the Piraka were actually Toa. At least long enough until Zaktan fixed up the way to create Zamor spheres. So, why did Velika go along with their charade? He knew what Toa looked like. He knew what Skakdi were. AND I'm willing to bet he knew that the Ignika was under Voya Nui, so visitors to the island probably were up to no good. Now you may say that he kept his mouth shut because he was afraid of retribution from the Piraka when the Matoran knew instantly who the piraka were. Or maybe he didn't want his cover blown as a great being, so therefore only spoke in riddles and hints to "help" and not give all the answers away completely. I can buy that, but it's still a big risk to take considering loosing the mask of life would basically be fatal to the universe as a whole. We all see later that he is perfectly capable of taking care of himself (as shown later with the late Tren Krom and Karzahni) so he probably wasn't afraid of the Piraka themselves. He very frequently helped the Voya Nui Resistance, and the Toa Inika (and Nuva) on different occasions. Of course when they met the Toa Nuva after their defeat of the Piraka, the Matoran attacked them believing they were allies of the Piraka (Velika again, would know that this time they were actually Toa). So what do you guys think? Do you think it's all just a fluke from creating a character and then later deciding he's a Great Being? Or do you think that Velika had different motives for letting the Piraka basically control the island that housed the universes greatest weapon ever? Let me know, I'm interested in discussing this.

Hello, I made made some drawings of characters revolving around fire, two of them being Bionicle characters, I draw these to celebrate the fact that I no longer have a Phobia of Fire! I have spent 90% of my life living in fear of flames but after today I no longer have to worry, ironic that I was scared for so long, considering Tahu was my first set and Favourite Toa, but today I confidently extinguished a spirit burner and even lighted one later on, I even made a new friend in the process! Thank you to everyone on here for being awesome as always, coming on here is always a wonderful part of my day, so linked below is the gallery of three drawings, two of them being Bionicle: https://imgur.com/a/Z2pBY Feel free to share your thoughts on these drawings, and I wish you all the best

Hello, I posted a topic for these earlier this year but it has since died; so this is a re-post of this topic. Anyway, I have quite the haul of Bionicle sets that have been packed away for years and I'd like to get rid of them for more space and money towards my gaming collection; as such, I am not looking to trade for other sets. Ideally I'd like to part with everything, so with that said here is what I've got: Strikeouts indicate sold items, while bold indicate on hold items. 2001 8531 Pohatu 8532 Onua 8533 Gali 8534 Tahu 8535 Lewa 8536 Kopaka 8537 Nui-Rama Toa Mata Promo Mini CD x1 8540 Vakama 8541 Matau 8542 Onewa 8543 Nokama 8544 Nuju 8545 Whenua 8546 Power Pack (No original box. This will probably be the last time I post this topic, anything I have left over will just get sold in a lot locally. Note: I'm also willing to trade for items on my gaming wish list. Thanks!

In terms of build, Toa Poraru is mostly a color-swapped Emperor clone with some minor changes, but this is deliberate since they're the same character, technically. Their torso may seem the most variant, but the structure is actually 100% the same, however instead of Armor Poraru just uses fabric to cover it up. One "non-canon" difference is that Poraru is one unit shorter - The Mata head limits posability when using a 3-length axle, but the neck looks comically long with a 4-length, however with the Emperor, I could use the cape to compensate. In Poraru's case, there is no cape and he'd look really stupid with a longer neck. However, "story-wise", Poraru and the Emprero are the same height. Backstory: Toa Poraru was once a completely ordinary and uninteresting Toa of Stone. He had some misgivings about the Toa code and sometimes was vocal about this, but other than this, he was a by-the-book Toa doing his duty. He and his Toa team protected their small village somewhere in a minor island of the Southern Isles. His life was entirely unremarkable until a few centuries before Teridax's uprising, a Makuta went mad on the Northern Continent (presumably due to a poorly conducted experiment) and went into a crazed rampage. The Brotherhood wanted to contain him, but were unsuccessful, and fearing a controversy, instead "lured" the Makuta southward. Poraru's team heard in advance of what was coming their way, and planned to intercept the enraged Makuta in a region far from their village. They succeeded in this endeavor, and together the six of them even managed to defeat the Makuta, however it was in a complete blood-rage and wouldn't give up. Poraru's suggestion to "put the Makuta out of its misery" was repeatedly rejected by the leader of the team citing the Toa Code. However, their attempts to contain the bestial creature failed, and after escaping, it headed straight for their village. By the time the Toa arrived, the village was in ruins and the Matoran massacred. This was the last straw for Poraru - the Toa Code which in the past had merely inconvenienced him, was now directly responsible for the death of those he swore to protect. Desiring vengeance, he set off to kill the Makuta, and was joined by two other Toa from his team who shared his views, while the other three remained and effectively exiled them. They tracked down the Makuta, and since they now fought to kill, their change in strategy caught him off-guard, allowing them to injure him severely. Alas, once again, their prey got away. In retaliation for the injury, it swing back to the ruins and ambushed the three Toa who refused to hunt him down. Blaming themselves for the death of their brothers, Poraru and the other two Toa swore to finally end the rampage of this crazed Makuta. On their third confrontation, thanks to the injury, they finally killed him - however only Poraru survived the conflict. Having lost any purpose in life, he began wandering about the Southern Isles. At one point, in a seedy inn, he overheard a boastful merchant from Stelt bragging about finding a source of Energized Protodermis which wasn't under the control of either the Brotherhood of Makuta nor the Hand of Arthaka. He "persuaded" the merchant to reveal the location of the font, and travelled there immediately. He knew that anyone coming into contact with energized protodermis is either killed, or, provided they yet have an unfulfilled destiny, changed. If he dies, so be it, but if this would give him a new purpose, all the better. Upon arriving to the cave, he was surprised to see that the merchant did not mislead him, and plunged into the pool. When he emerged, he saw his reflection on nearby crystal formations - he hadn't changed much, but the color of his armor was now black and silver. In his mind floated, ever present, two words - "Emperor" and "Unity". He was compelled to return to the site of his former village. On this journey, he began making some realizations. His control over Stone was gone, replaced by telepathic, telekinetic and teleconductive abilities. Then, he realized he can revert to his old form at will, and then his control over Stone returns at the expense of his new abilities. In dream, he realized his new purpose in life was to achieve absolute Unity across the known world. For this, he'd need followers. During his journeys, he sought out disenfranchised warriors, exiled Toa, former Dark Hunters and any other beings who would follow him. They returned to his old home and founded the United Southern Empire. Planning his expansion, a single problem constantly returned - Metru Nui. He hadn't the military force to conquer it, and it would never join the Empire willingly so long as it was governed by a Turaga and overseen by a Makuta. If he'd push northward gradually, annexing and conquering smaller lands and working his way up, they'd make note of the threat and send an army of Toa against him. However, he had one advantage - everyone who knew he once broke the Toa code was dead. As far as Metru Nui was concerned, Poraru was still Toa Poraru. And thus the plan was born - he alone would venture north, while his lieutenants would continue the conquest of the south. He, as Poraru, would infiltrate the Toa order, while as the Emperor would gain the support of other factions, so that unwittingly all players in the north would further the imperial cause. His plan was upended by Teridax's uprising against the Great Spirit, and during his Reign of Shadows, the Emperor fought alongside the Toa Resistance against Teridax's forces, all the while ensuring the secret of Poraru and he being one and the same didn't get out. When Teridax fell and Spherus Magna was united, the Emperor led his people to a new home, from which they would endeavor to unite this new world. Flickr Album: click here. As always, comments and criticism is welcome!

This is something that I've actually been done with for quite a while but never got around to posting so I'm super happy to finally be showing this to you guys! Some of you may remember seeing this render of the toa Hagah from a fan project a long time ago; well I was actually the one to work on these toa and design their masks! Ever since that render was made I've been asked countless times if I would ever make 3D printed versions of them and I'm happy to say that that's exactly what I've done! I couldn't just settle for copying my original (and now very outdated) designs, however, and decided to give all of them full revamps. An astounding amount of effort and time went into these masks and I think I can proudly say that they are some of the highest quality 3D printed masks that I've ever seen, fitting in perfectly with the other two toa Hagah that were lucky enough to have official sets. But enough with the talk! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! Flickr Albums for individual masks: Pouks, Kualus, Bomonga, Gaaki I also have an unboxing video: link and of course here is a link to my Shapeways Shop where all fours masks are available for purchase! So, the anxiously anticipated LEGO House is officially open to the public today in Billund. Back in mid-2015, Faber jumped on his personal blog that he uses to discuss anything of relevance to himslef and posted an entry that pretty specifically implicated that there will be a decent amount of late 1990's and early 2000's G1 memorabilia and concepts on display there. From the original post: "The phonecall confirmed that Bionicle will have a prominent place in that history since it was the "The toy that saved LEGO" (quote from J∅rgen Vig Knudstorp) and suddenly all my Turaga beach crates full of old sketches gets interest." As it is, I think that we saw a brief glimpse of a display featuring the Toa Mata back in 2016; is anyone aware of what else is down there? Heck, does anyone know a fellow who's going? -Azani

[Digital Render] Toa Trava (Friend's OC) by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr “I didn’t get my Toa Stone from anyone, I found it. On the remains of an old corpse that had fallen at the hands of some of the nastier wildlife, the types that I didn’t even know of at the time. I became the outlander of the local Toa. Taking care of the forest, watching for really nasty predators and making sure they weren’t dangerous, taking out poachers, there was a pretty good amount of stuff to do.” — Trava This is an OC of my good friend Geardirector, a Toa of Plantlife Trava, commissioned by him as a birthday present. Here on BZPower Trava is a character from BZPRPG, a Lesterin of Plantlife. But in a Bionicle AU project called Technorealm she is a Toa. * * * If you like what I do and you want to see me create your OC, a favorite Bionicle Character, or something else, feel free to look up my Commission Info! I also run a Patreon page, so please consider supporting!
