Nicknamed “Quiet-Night,” Bomonga hunts in absolute silence and prefers to work alone. His prey are the Rahi “hiders,” insect and nocturnal species. He can detect Rahi by placing his staff in contact with the ground, and then interprets the vibrations to see what’s coming and how big it is. His silent spinners can attach and paralyze his target for a while. Bomonga searches for Rahi under cover of darkness and will sometimes burrow into the earth to wait for the creatures to come near.

After saying goodbye to the Toa Metru as they made their journey to Mata Nui with all the sleeping Matoran, Bomonga, the other Rahaga, and Keetongu helped Turaga Dume to rebuild parts of Metru Nui and then left to free other islands that had fallen victim to the Visorak hordes. Later, Bomonga, along with the other Rahaga, were turned back into Toa by Roodaka.
