    Island: Mata Nui

Along with all the Bohrok's powers, the Bahrag could communicate telepathically and could also project illusions to deceive their enemies. These illusions were real in every sense, as long as the victim believed they were real. The second they realized otherwise, the illusion broke down and faded. These illusions could be anything from walls to imaginary enemies. The twins were also symbiotic - as they grew closer together their power increased, to the point that they could generate shields.

In the Bahrag’s nest, the Toa battled the queens and won with the help of the Exo-Toa. They created a cell which even the Bahrag and their mighty powers could not escape from and trapped them deep beneath the island. They created the Bohrok-Kal so that if they were ever unable to command the swarms, the Bohrok-Kal would search them out and free them. The Bohrok-Kal managed to steal the six Toa Nuva Symbols and found where the Bahrag were trapped. They brought the symbols and started to place them on the cube that would form the key to the Bahrag’s prison. As they reached this final stage in their mission, their Krana-Kal transformed into silver and projected shields that protected the Bohrok-Kal from any physical outside force. But the Toa Nuva came and Tahu Nuva used the Kanohi Vahi to slow down time enough for them to focus their powers though their symbols, into the Bohrok-Kal. This caused their already great power to overload, and go out of control. Each Bohrok-Kal in turn was destroyed by their own powers working against them. Because the mission of their Bohrok-Kal failed, Gahdok and Cahdok remained trapped within their protodermic cell, unable to command the krana and the swarms.

After returning the Matoran to Metru Nui and in accordance to Mata Nui's will, the Toa Nuva freed the Bahrag so that they could cleanse the island once more.
