I've been wondering since I found out Takua was the first Matoran; Is Takua older than Tren Krom?

My Inquisitor Yandra Adaar. Dragon Age Inquisition was one of the few games in the past couple of years that managed to drag me into its world from the word go. In no small part thanks to the work of the ever-awesome Matt Rhodes, who's style this is loosely based on. Definitely not the last time I draw Lady Adaar ^^

Should BZPower's contests have age-groups? It seems rather unfair for a 13-year old to go up against a 20-year-old in a building competition. Should there be different age-groups in the competitions so younger builders (like myself) can compete against builders our own age? Looking at the BFTGM (which was an official Lego contest, so there was no changing it), there were lots of great MOCs, but did any of the younger builders ever stand a chance against all the older builders who had had years of building experience? IT seems like every competition that has no age groups results in 18+ year olds winning. Tell me one time when someone under 15 has won a large competition where such a wide range of ages was allowed. Young builders can be very good for their age, but rarely can they compete with experts who are much older than them. So what do you think?

I turned 30 this week. Am I still a fan of LEGO? This is my Charlie Brown tree (seriously, they sell/sold this product): This is what that space looked like before I made room to put a tree there: I may not do as much building these days, but I think those pictures should answer the question. ©1984-2014 Toaraga EAM

The anniversary of BZPower's founding has finally arrived! It's quite a special day, I'm sure, for many of us; personally, I'm being flooded with memories of when I first discovered this site back in the summer of 2008. I'm looking forward to many more years of an active community here.

Most of us would remember LEGO's policy change a few months back, meaning that LEGO staff, such as GregF, are no longer allowed to talk with children under 13 online. Greg was therefore limited to talking with the over-thirteens by PM. The BZPower staff talked about possible solutions to this, such as having an area of the site that can only be accessed by over-thirteens, but as far as I can tell, nothing has happened yet. Does anyone know more about this than I do? Furthermore, how do you think this should be handled?
