This is it! The twentieth entry in my BZPower blog! Why is that significant? Probably because I just decided it would be! Blog-like writing has been a theme of my internet presence from near the beginning of my teenage experience. I got my first blog on Blogspot.com (now just blogger.com) in January 2004. My English teacher wanted us to create personal blogs for writing exercises outside of class, a new concept to 15 year-old me, but apparently, some of my peers had discovered Xanga (remember that!?) by then. Anyway, it was pretty simple. I wrote in it weekly based on whatever prompt my teacher assigned the class, but occasionally, we got the chance to do free-writes and write about whatever was on our minds. This was something I re-discovered joy in, for originally, I had to keep a journal (with paper! The primitivity!) back in the sixth grade. I actually had fun writing in it daily, but I was naive and thought my expressions within were private. Unfortunately, some imp pulled my journal out of the class stack one day and revealed some things I had written about another person. It wasn't nice , but the exposure was cruel, and I was humiliated in front of the class for it. After that, I became very wary and anxious about doing any kind of personal writing. Therefore, my lesson learned, I was able to outgrow my anxiety and thrived in blogging years later in my English class. Even after school ended for summer vacation, I still posted a few times over the summer. By now, commenting was enabled, and some of my peers could read and comment on my thoughts. But most gave up their blogs permanently after the school year, so I was alone. In time, I abandoned the blog as well. A year later, in 2005, new friends introduced me to Myspace. I was hesitant initially, but since a lot of these friends I wanted to keep in contact with over long distances, I decided to embrace it. And of course, once I found out that you could write your own blogs on your page, I was hooked. I wrote regularly on that thing from 2005 to 2008, usually juvenile, smart-aleck kind of stuff that only a cocky high school kid would write. Other times, I'd get a bit introspective or remark on local events in my town and high school. Eventually, I started adding more friends from high school, so there often lively comments and bulletins exchanged between us. Several friends actually complimented me on my writing, and that encouraged me to write more. In 2007, with the end of high school nigh, I joined another social media site: Facebook. Once again, I found Facebook (it was a lot simpler back then!) had a blogging function (of sorts) called Notes. It was a lot cleaner-looking than the Myspace blog, so I started writing some thoughts down there, too, often copying and pasting them into my Myspace page later. As my friend count on Facebook increased steadily into college, I started to give Facebook more precedence with blogging. Eventually, spam bots, glitches, and general lack of activity on Myspace forced me to give it up in late 2008. The future would be with Facebook, and as of this writing, I have almost 90 Notes written on Facebook. It would be more, but my output seriously started to lag after college, as did my readership. I think Facebook encouraged this, as they sidelined the Notes function more and more until it was almost invisible to the casual user. Plus, I think most people don't like reading too much anymore. Where does the BZPower Blog fit in all this? Well, if you scroll back through my 20 entries, you'll see my first post was in 2006, during a renewed Premier membership in the summertime. So, that was back in the Myspace heyday. It was kind of a "secret" or "joke" blog, since I made no connections in it to my "real" identity on Myspace. I wanted to keep my BZPower and BIONICLE fandom separate from the "real me" in high school, which, looking back, was kind of dumb. I was already a nerd, BIONICLE fan notwithstanding! Speaking of secret blogs, I also kept a Livejournal from 2005 to 2007. I mainly did it to get in touch with an old crush from my middle school days. That sort of didn't work out like I had hoped, but there is definitely some interesting writing on there that was not on Facebook or Myspace. With this twentieth entry, I have been more prolific on BZPower's blog than anywhere else in the past two years, if not more. I guess I like the fact that this blog is still a bit removed from my non-BIONICLE identity, and part of me is fine with the reduced traffic on this site now that BIONICLE is dead and buried. I feel like I am contributing to an archive for one of the internet's lost tribes--a dwindling folk who still remember their past and customs even as time and society pass them by. Someday, there may be nothing left of BZPower but these forums and the blogs. In that way, it pleases me to be doing my part in ensuring some memorial to my presence here, a veritable "BIONICLE Guru was here" epitaph on the gravestone in the cemetery of the Internet's never-quite dead.

Quest for the Trivia: a Lego BIONICLE (GBA) Blog
balljoint dog posted a topic in Bionicle Discussion
Hey y'all! I recently realized that I've poked and prodded at Lego BIONICLE (GBA) (aka Quest for the Toa, aka Tales of the Tohunga) a lot, and as such I probably know a thing or two about it that most Bionicle fans don't. Nothing earth-shaking or with deep canonical implications, but things I find interesting nonetheless. Many of these "minor discoveries" don't really merit their own forum thread, so I've created a blog where I'll start posting about them. I hope that it'll be interesting whether you've played the game or not, in the same way Supper Mario Broth is interesting. Give it a look and let me know what you think! Post 0: Introduction and FAQ -
Well, I guess they still haven't turned off Premier Perks. Which means I can still post on this blog. I really don't have much else to say, besides please for the love of all things vote for a title. That's about it. P.S. As quoted from Discord, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the next game Sakurai is working on is a crossover between FE and Smash Like, all of the FE characters fight like they're in Smash, but there's an actual story, dialogue and choices like in FE Super Smash Bros. Emblem, releasing tomorrow. That's what Nintendo needs to sell 100M Switch units. That one game. Saturday, July 29th, 2017. Count on it. Can't possibly be a worse idea than The Emoji Movie anyway. Well, whatever. It's been a fun time. ~MetaStriker

Hah, I said yesterday would be my last entry but it wasn't. I guess I didn't accurately grasp the concept of "one week" and didn't think the Premier Perks would extend all day Thursday. My bad. Well anyway, I really have nothing to reveal regarding the STILL UNTITLED REMAKE COMEDY. At this point, I'm either going to have to go with SPIRIT's title or just slap something else up there. Also, make sure to check out OKONICLE: The Okay Chronicle!! It's a comedy collaboration between myself and Master Inika on the story of 2001...somewhat. Check it out, it's something that I hope is fun for everyone to read! Here's the link: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/25003-okonicle-the-okay-chronicle/ Again, I don't have an official release date for The Hero Tahu, but trust me when I say that I am working on it and it will most definitely come. Above all, I want to give the comedy the level of polish it deserves, no matter how long it takes, because I know it's all worth it. Perhaps I'll release a spin-off? I'm not entirely sure, but it's something I may look into eventually. Right now, my priorities are whatever's going on in my life, followed by OKONICLE, followed by THT. Whatever the case, I hope to be around here as much as I can. Until I feel that I'm done. And don't worry, I'm not done yet. I haven't been done for years. Even when I took a hiatus in 2013, I kinda figured I'd be back someday. I'm happy I am. See you next July 20th, ~MetaStriker

2015 Toa, Ekimu, and Skull Grinder Entry for fishers64's blog contest Heya. Made these a short while ago for the contest, but only got to taking pictures now. I hope you like them. TAHU, MASTER OF FIRE With temper as powerful as his blade, Tahu burns through any opponents who dare to face him. The golden element-increasing Mask of Fire lets him pull off extraordinary feats with heat and flame, sending huge bursts of fire out wherever he chooses and withstanding incredibly hot temperatures. Messing with this Toa is a very bad idea. LEWA, MASTER OF JUNGLE The joker of the team, Lewa flies high in the air with his simultaneous control of air and plantlife. His Mask of Jungle lets him pull off even greater feats, like flying without any strain of his abilities, or moving dead plants as if they were alive. Possibly the most powerful Toa, Lewa is someone you want fighting with you and not against you. KOPAKA, MASTER OF ICE With a soul as hard as the ice itself, Kopaka's no-nonsense attitude and powerful mind makes him one of the most intelligent Toa. With the Mask of Ice, his incredible powers borderline on impossible, letting him create extremely thin shields which are nearly impossible to break and create ice with extremely little effort. Despite his harsh appearance, he does enjoy a fun time as much as anyone else - he just doesn't show it. POHATU, MASTER OF STONE Pohatu is the scorpion-hating, rock-slinging, poorly enigmatic member of the Toa whose bitter remarks hide a very caring heart. His Mask of Stone increases his speed and his elemental ability, letting him chuck massive boulders with ease. His headstrong desire for combat sometimes betrays his ability to scheme, but he's an invaluable asset to anyone daring to brave the forgotten city of Okoto. GALI, MASTER OF WATER Gali, the only female member of the Toa, keeps up with the other members fine with her elemental ability and her solid wisdom. With her Mask of Water, her incredible abilities increase greatly, allowing her to conduct some form of electricity and blast through the water at breakneck speeds, all the while being able to breathe underwater and control powerful torrents that can blast through solid stone. ONUA, MASTER OF EARTH The friendliest member of the team, Onua can control massive amounts of soil which let him smash enemies aside - and so does his warhammer. With his Mask of Earth, he decimates anyone who tries to stop him, and buries them deep - very deep. His vast control of earth cause earthquakes and split the ground open whenever he hits it with his hammer. However, he's very fun at parties. MASK MAKER VS. SKULL GRINDER The legendary Ekimu has been awoken by the six Toa heroes. However, they must face and defeat the true threat to the land - Kulta, the Skull Grinder. The wise Ekimu, Mask Maker and brother of the villainous Makuta, used to rule the land in peace before he knocked himself and Makuta into a coma to prevent him from using the cursed Mask of Ultimate Power. Now he assists the Toa in their largest challenge yet. Kulta, the Skull Grinder, lead his army of empowered, undead corpses to take complete control of the ancient city and Ekimu's Forge, where he waits in an attempt to destroy the Mask of Creation and allow Makuta to take complete control. It will take the entire Toa team and Ekimu to best this villain. Selfie shot! THE BUILD All of the models except for Onua and Ekimu featured are built around a new system I designed to imitate the look of the 2015 sets while giving them much more flexibility and a lot more parts, making them more worth the price of 15 to 20 dollars. Each model has 22 points of articulation, minus Onua who has 23 and Ekimu who has 11. Kopaka would be the best to display this design, considering he is Elvis and all. If this entry wins the contest, I will be creating instructions for the design. Thanks for checking this topic, and I'd appreciate it if you left a comment on this topic, and then checked out fishers64's blog post where you can enter the contest yourself. ~Ghidora131

Here you can follow the development blog: http://wipvault.tumblr.com/ I'm up to hear what you guys like and hopefully get some feedback apart from the technical stuff. I'm using Blender to modelling and Xnormal for baking maps. Cya!

Hello there, reader. This topic will basically be a list of my wants and concerns for the Bionicle 2015 line that is coming our way very soon. How is this any different to other posts of the exact same topic? Not much different, actually. But if you have dropped by to read my insignificant articles, you are probably still interested. So, without further ado, I'll tell you of some of the things I want and don't want to happen in this reinvigoration of Bionicle. Number 1 - Don't give Bionicle a TV show. After Tinseltown Toons animated the 2009 movie Bionicle: The Legend Reborn, LEGO have been hiring this company to make CGI television shows based off their toys. To date, Tinseltown Toons and LEGO have been paired for a few years now, and their animation style is both visually appealing and commercial worthy. So, why shouldn't LEGO let Tinseltown make yet another animated tie-in? My answer? The tone would ruin the toyline. Now, hear me out. The Hero Factory show hasn't really been anything like Bionicle, for several reasons, but one of them is the TV series. Tinseltown have to make these episodes with a much lighter and kid-friendly tone because they have to put it on Cartoon Network's channel guide. Cartoon Network aren't the kind of company that would air an episode of Breaking Bad on their channel, because they are a channel that provides entertainment for children. If we have learned anything in the past, Cartoon Network don't really want a show with adult themes, relatable emotions, and a coherent storyline on the air. Cough cough, Young Justice. Anyway, Bionicle doesn't deserve to be dumbed down for the sake of being a TV show on Cartoon Network. Number 2 - Make another online game! As we all know, most of the charm of early days Bionicle came from the beloved Mata Nui Online Game. It compelled us to explore a vast landscape and culture, among the mystery of the Makuta's influence, the tale of Mata Nui, and the danger of the Bohrok. Needless to say, this was an essential part of Bionicle's popularity. So, why not capitalise on this success and make another online game? From what we have seen of the line, it has the same potential that the island of Mata Nui did years ago, and Okoto would be the perfect place to explore. Kids and adults alike can interact with the world of Okoto, and it would really help to set the tone of this new line. LEGO, you might as well give Templar Studios another gig. Number 3 - Give Okoto some personality. A big part of making Okoto a vast landscape with a rich culture is, well, giving it a vast landscape and rich culture. I would personally like to see the Protectors be fleshed out, and that they aren't just sets put out to balance out the larger Master sets. I would like to see some of the Protectors have unique personalities, similar to the Matoran we met in MNOG, because they can't just be cardboard cutouts made to give the Masters applause. Also, give the Protectors something to do. If the Masters are taking care of every single problem on the island, then the Protectors aren't very important characters. In the 2001 storyline, the Matoran had to fight off the forces of Teridax's Rahi for hundreds of years until the Toa finally arrived on the island, and even when the Toa arrived and started fighting off the Rahi, the Matoran had still pitched in and fought against the Rahi and Bohrok swarms when the Toa were off dealing with Teridax. In conclusion, make the Protectors worthwhile characters. Number 4 - Don't slavishly follow the original line's story. From what we have seen, the new Bionicle line seems to have a story that holds a candle to the original story. , the Masters have the same names as the Toa Mata/Nuva, the villain is yet again called Makuta, and the Skull Spiders are essentially a mix of the Bohrok, as the spiders themselves can attach to the Protector's and Master's faces, and presumably control them, very much like the Krana, and the Visorak, as they are also spiders. But we are also offered a fresh new story with an interesting concept which can bring in newcomers. That is exactly what this new line needs. But there is a slippery slope with introducing new stories that are too similar to previous stories. Fans may be clamouring to see characters such as Karzahni, Artahka, Brutaka and Helryx make a return in this new line, but I personally don't want to buy sets that follow a story that would be a photocopy of a previously used script, as much as I love the characters I mentioned before. So, that is pretty much all that I want to see in the Bionicle 2015 line. How about you? If you agree with me or want to murder me with a chopstick because I don't support your opinion, let me know!

Just added a new content block to my blog that features links to all ten of the stories from my The Biological Chronicle series of flash fiction. Been meaning to do this for a while, but just been too busy and lazy to take the time to do it. You'll have to scroll down to see it, however, as it's at the very bottom of my blog. -TNTOS-

HOORAY! But now I have to think of things to blog about. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
-
If I happened to own an external blog and the contents of the blog and entries thereof were rule-abiding, would I be allowed to link to such a blog from my signature? Even if it had a commenting system? (Which I regulated myself?) If I did not own a BZP blog at the time, would this be considered a discourtesy to BZPower's blogging system and the blog staff? (This is the more important question BTW. I would like to avoid disturbing the peace.) Also, related: The front page mentions that BZPower is a trademark of the owners of this site. If I were to mention or refer to it on my own website, how could I do so in a way that avoids legal problems? Do I need to ask for permission?

So, I just noticed that my blog is quickly (or not-so-quickly) approaching both 200 entries and 1,000 comments. I was thinking it might be nice to celebrate one of these occasions with something special. I was contemplating holding a contest or something in my blog, with the winner receiving a Real Prize. Or maybe holding a draw for an Authentic BIONICLE Piece. You know, something special and fun. Give me your feedback and/or ideas? I want to make it special, and I want it to be fun, just because I'm excited that my blog has made it this far. (also go away bfa no one wants to hear about your 1400 entries or 15,000 comments)

I seriously haven't posted in this blog for almost two months. This needs a MAXIMUM OVERHAUL. I'm just imagining that being said in a voice similar to Optimus Prime's, a deep gravelly mechanical voice. You know what I'm talking about? Anyway, I'm changing the theme, I'm changing everything. To what, I don't know, but I will change it. I am determined...to be a model of determination. If that makes any sense. Yes/no/maybe/am I crazy? I guess this means I'm becoming more active again, I'm not sure. I kind of had a dark ages with BZPower for a while, but Brickworld 2012 (I did attend the convention, yes ) changed that, to be honest. So if you're interested in what I'm saying (I promise I have a different outlook on life than most people) drop a comment every now and then, or at least let me know you read this hunk of junk in some way or another. To start off, suggestions for a MAXIMUM OVERHAUL would be nice. -CM

Perchance you're wondering how I happened upon six-month Premier Membership. Allow me to satiate your curiosity. My plan was a devious one. Upon seeing the LSO COT Comedies contest almost empty, I proceeded to enter perhaps the most drab, torturous piece of garbage BZPower has seen to this day under the guise of a comedy. The judges promptly heaved the title of first place onto my shoulders and made me say (I crossed my fingers) that I would never again blackmail them with such rubbish as my story, which is thirsting for reviews, by the way. It is hardly necessary to recount my agreement of the arrangement, for here I am, sitting with the weight of a blog upon my fingers and a thousand methods of verbal torture upon my mind. You have six months, BZPower bloggers. Be sure to count.

I started this blog for whatever reason. What now?

Back when the forums came back and we were all given premier perks, I made a blog. After we lost the premier perks, I tried to change the title. It asked for a link because it assumed this was an externally linked blog now, and I gave it the URL to the bzpower blog, resulting in an endless loop. Bt now that we have premier perks for a bit, I want to change my blog from an externally linked one to a regular one, but how?
-
So yeah, this place is looking pretty barren and boring, any advice from you Pro Bloggies on how to make it look a little better.

I think the title says all. I'm not sure if one would be considered a duplicate or not.Your Honor,Emperor Kraggh

I have an idea! I'll write a serial, and post it on my blog. People can comment on it and request for things to happen next, and then they will! It'll be like Bioniclestory meets BZPStuck. Or I could just post photos on my blog. Of ordinary things. And write commentary for them until thay become EXTRAordinary. What else could I do to spice my blog up? Suggestions, comrades!

After days and hours of deliberation, decided to rename my blog in honor of "Cowboy Bebop at his computer" since I think I can say I'm a fan of Cowboy bebop. Admittedly not much has changed really, except I got rid of the Trixie pictures and added a error 401 block. Now I must wait for a blog approval. If anyone asks, yes I know the protagonist is not named cowboy bebop but named Spike. Do he and MLPFiM spike have anything in common?

There, made a slight change to my blog's name. Feels much better now~

I decided to add some Avengers stuff. Welcome to the brand-new Wiki-Nui Avengers HQ, guys! If you guys got any suggestions for the blog's look, please tell me. P.S. I promise to try to keep you guys updated about the group's fate. >_>
