This is a costume that I built for Halloween this last year. I wanted to emulate a realistic version of the mata designs while also keeping some aspects of the original toy. This is what I came up with. The miru is just a stand-in for now, but a hau is being made. The blue jumpsuit is also being replaced with a more skintight black suit, with more detailing as well. Hello everyone This is My work in progress of my custom megazord 3D model as well as the costume . the 3d model and the costume will be used in my upcoming movie The trailer of which you can see here . But with out further adue here is the first rough sketches of the parts of the megazord . DSC00954 by The MegazordMan, on Flickr as you can see I am going for a hybrid of a megazord and Gundam Design but for the purposes in the movie it wont be combing with anything it will only be transforming from robot to space ship mode . The 3d model its self will only be used for its ship mode and for the transformation scene . As for ship modes I am drawing inspiration from star trek as well as gundam ships . Please tell me what you think of the model and the sketch so far As for the costume , Well I will be starting the work on it after the 3d model is done . I made the base for this a while ago, but now I've gotten back to work on it and figured I'd post the progress pictures. I've already made a Hau, but I'm using a slightly different process for this Miru. It started with a paper file from CrunchbiteNuva, then I coated it with fiberglass resin and reinforced it with fiberglass. Now I've coated it with Bondo body filler and sanded it down, I'll add more coats then paint it, with less damage detail than the Hau. Without further ado: and here's a closer look at it, I realized that one coat would be an excellent base for an Infected mask: My garage is a mess right now thanks to some water damage so I'm working on a pizza box on a board, in the driveway. Ta-Metru it ain't. I'll post more pictures as it gets closer to completion.

Just some stuff Steampunk stuff I'm working on. The gun was an el cheapo dart gun that I repainted. I have every intention of customizing it a little bit, but am content with leaving it as mostly a paint job. The goggles have some more stuff to be added on to accent them. I'm working on my own version of a Tesla inspired by Warehouse 13 though. It is going to be more Steampunk, but in the shape and form of a shotgun.
