  1. Well, it would appear the last Exo-Force group died awhile back, so why not breath some new life into it? I'm Joev14, the owner of the Lego Exo-Force wiki, and creator of the Bionicle: Audio-Narration Project. I'm a huge fan of Exo-Force and would even argue that the series took up more of my interest during it's run than Bionicle did at the time, as I purchased every Exo-Force set during it's run, though I tried my hardest to keep up with Bionicle during those three years as well, I missed quite a few of the 2008 sets at the time. I've recently recovered my love for the series, and have decided to start up a second YouTube channel where I will be reviewing every single set ever released in the series, plus a couple of sets that were never released, all in glorious HD! Alongside this, I will be creating audiobook version of the Exo-Force books, so you too can experience the joys of the series the same way I did. For those of you who are interested, here is a link to the Exo-Force comics that everyone is so fond of as well. Please post any comments you have regarding these below, I'd also love to see some MOCs and Stories related to Exo-Force, or just hear about any memories you have growing up with the series!
  2. A mainly constraction-based reimagining of Uplink from Exo-Force, this moc started out as a revamp of that set. However, as I progressed, I ended up with a general shape and frame that I really liked, but didn't live up to Uplink's proportions or shaping. I ended up keeping Uplink's colour scheme, pilot, weapons and some parts lifted directly from the set, but stuck with these different proportions, making this less of a revamp and more of a reimagining as mentioned earlier. Further pictures on Flickr. Comments and criticism appreciated.
  3. Corresponding blog post More mechs? More mechs. Up on the revamp table are the Iron Condor, the Blade Titan, and the Sky Guardian. I just got done typing a big blog post on these three, so I'll keep it short here. The Condor has its signature rocket launcher back with a pair of shotguns mounted to it. The Titan is now in black and trans-green with a sweet looking chaingun (if I say so myself), and the Guardian is sleeker and more solid than before. Take a look and check out the blog post if you want the full descriptions. Iron Condor: Action Shot Front Left Side Back Wings Open Right Side Blade Titan: Front Left Side Back Right Side Sky Guardian: Sword Raised Sword Swing Sniper Rifle Front Left Side Back Right Side Once again, comments and the like are appreciated! -Jaga
  4. Okay, I know that is a click-bait title, but hear me out. One possibility if Lego decides to drop ccbs or other construction settings in the future but decided to reboot Bionicle is to do as it a Mech series (ala Exo-force) using standard the standard Lego system to build sets and specialised minifigs for the characters. The rough idea is this: The Matoran are a bio-mechanical race who live in peace and harmony with the world around them with their limited elemental gifts; trees growing faster as they tend them, metals forge by fuelless flames and city mounded from the mountains like children's clay. Their culture with it's myriad of blessed masks tells tales of great kings and heroes - the Toa, titans of such size they could step over hills, such strength to smash down mountains and the power to raise whole ranges with a flick of their hands. At first the Toa used their power for good, but one by one they fell to some darkness - and their war shook the world. The Matoran wear their masks to enshrine the Toas' glory, and to remember their horrors. However a new evil has arisen - great monsters called the Rahkshi, arising from the shadows of night and eclipse to destroy everything the Matoran have worked for. Worst, a cult calling itself the 'Brotherhood of Makuta' is predicting these attacks with startling accuracy and is using this knowledge to grow their power base. 6 Matoran use the chaos to go on an expedition through a forbidden desert to a ruined citadel. Tahu, a prince who seeks the chance for a warrior's life; Gali, a explorer who lost everything to a rahkshi; Pohatu, a wounded Kolhii star with knowledge of the deserts; Kopaka, a ranger and loner; Onua, an ageing soldier and teacher; and Lewa, a young acrobat seeking adventure. Within the ruins they find golden masks; giving them power over ancient warmachines and ascending them to the rank of Toa. So what did you guys think?
  5. For whatever reason, watching "Star Trek: Beyond" as sent me into a Sci-Fi craze (note: I do mean "Sci-Fi" not "science fiction" because the only thing I've been reading/watching recently that has anything to do with actual science is "War of the Worlds") and this, somehow, has made me think of an old LEGO theme I've always liked: Exo-Force. Now, I really like Exo-Force to the point that it might be my second of third favorite LEGO theme overall after "Hero Factory" and, of course, "BIONICLE", but rather than talk about the actual theme I want to talk about something I've dreamed of doing if I was in a position to do it namely an Exo-Force movie. If you like Exo-Force or mecha in general I'm sure you can imagine how awesome a live-action (or pure CG because, let's be honest, it would probably work just as well if not better) Exo-Force would be and I for one have spent lots of time thinking up spectacular and exciting action pieces that a movie about human and robots battling it out could have. Although, thinking about it now the movie I'd really like to see would probably be "Starship Troopers" meets "Terminator" with some more Sci-Fi military action thrown in, but that wouldn't really be Exo-Force, which gave me the idea for a movie that distills the theme of Exo-Force to it's essence: humans making an Alamo last stand against overwhelming robotic forces. And now, some incoherent thoughts from the brainstorming I had last night: 1) It's really, really hard to come up with a logical explanation as to why the robots don't just go around Sentai Mountain and I'm not talking about going around the mountain to strike the village, but why not just surround the humans and attack them from all sides? 2) Thus, the "plot" of the movie would be a single battalion of division of a human military defending a mountain, or other easily defended nature position, against the robots as a kind of delaying tactic. The humans are preparing a massive counterattack that could turn the war in their favor, but they can't go through with their plan if the robots are allowed to take this mountain. 3) Even though, it would be hinted that their is a large conflict going on, for the sake of focus the movie would center exclusively on this one front of that conflict; one human battalion defend one mountain against overwhelming numbers. 4) The robots would be an utter ruthless and merciless enemy looking gritty and terrifying like the Terminators who want one thing and one thing only; to destroy all humans (or "Blast some meatbags" to quote a certain fictional killer robot). They have grunts they rush forward in suicide charge to set off land mines so their superior soldiers can advance, they field jetpack wielding paratroopers in the vein of the Fire Vulture and massive attack helicopters. 5) I love the idea that the humans fight the robot paratroopers by just knocking them out of the sky with a massive jet; no really they just fly it right through a swarm of them and just watch them shatter on their wings. 6) The humans are, of course, a small band of space marines who have a very modern military feel...you know if the military had advance Sci-Fi technology. 7) The humans have craved out helicopter pads into the mountain and I have a great idea for a scene where the robots scale the mountain on grappling hooks and force their way onto one of these pads forcing engineers and pilots to fight robots in brutal hand-to-hand combat. Alright, that's enough rambling, my point is I came up with a lot of action shots and world-building gimmicks for this idea. Will anything actually came of this? Probably not. Other than maybe another story treatment/script draft that will end up stored somewhere deep in my computer or maybe a short story I would post in OTC, I don't know. Either way, it was a cool daydream.
  6. Years ago, humanity created a great achievement – Artificial Intelligence. This creation allowed for better working conditions, for the prototype robots at Sentai mountain with this new AI took jobs in places too dangerous for ordinary workers. Peace was enjoyed throughout Sentai Mountain, and they coexisted in a prosperous harmony with the robots. But that was not to last. A new variant of Robot was created. Meca One. Meca One rebelled against his pacifistic programming, and rallied the other robots to his cause. The enslavement of humanity. War broke out when the robots, armed with guns and mining machines, attacked the settlements of their progenitors. The war was quick, and soon the robot rebellion was quelled. But at what cost? The mountain was literally ripped in half by the weapons of war. To prevent another war, the humans threw all the robots down the gorge in-between the mountain. But they survived. The robots now had an unrelenting rage for their creators, and in their exile they created and upgraded their war machines for the next war. Meanwhile, bridges were constructed between the two halves, connecting the mountain once more. Then the Robots struck. And they blitzed up the southern half, pillaging any towns on their way, until the southern area was secured. But by the time they were crossing the bridges to the northern side, they humans were prepared. A wise old sensei recruited the young men and women of Sentai Mountain and armed them with powerful battle machines. The humans now had a force to reckon with. The Battle for Sentai mountain rages on, but who will win? That is for you to decide. Humanity is at war. Robots have ascended from the gorge and now occupy the southern half of the island, erecting factories to create their machine of war. Humanity has resisted the spread of the robots, but the fight is only beginning. You can create your character as either a human or a robot, and duke it out with your enemies. Battle machines are being produced in multitude by both races, all to defend their land and conquer their opponents. It is your actions that will lead your faction to its destiny. Good Luck! Locations: There are many varied locations on the split Sentai Mountain, even now, not all of them completely mapped. Here are some important areas that are crucial to the battles between the Humans and Robots. Northern Half Also known as the “Human side” of the Sentai Mountain, the northern half is mainly dominated by forested peaks and terraced farmland. Various human settlements dot the vertical landscape, some complete marvels of engineering as they jut straight out from sheer cliffs or hang across bottomless canyons. Most of the human population lives here, protected from the invading forces of the robots. On this half of the mountain lies the Sentai Fortess, the head quarters of the human's EXO-FORCE team. Here, pilots can train, upgrade their battle machines, and prepare themselves for battle against the robots. The Sentai Fortess is the human's first line of defense for their population. Southern Half The “Robot side” of the mountain is almost completely dominated by their massive black fortress, which spans almost the entire length of the southern side of the mountain. What trees and villages had resided on that side of the mountain have all been burned away to make room for the gigantic industrial factories and mines that litter the side of the split mountain. The Bridges The only physical link between the North and South portions of the mountain, and the closest thing to “neutral ground” as any, the bridges are highly contested and often the most heavily fought over places. Both sides have set up various gates and turrets to defend their sides of the mountain. Most battles will take place on these bridges. The largest of which is the Tenchi Bridge, with one ends leading to the human's Sentai Fortess, and the other to one of the largest gates to the robot's own monolithic fortess. Battle Machines: Battle Machines (or mechs, as they are also referred to) are the main fighting platforms used by both the humans and robots. All are equipped with armor, weapons, and advanced systems geared for combat against other Battle Machines. While there is variation between each Battle Machine, they can generally be classified into one of three types: Soldier-class Battle Machines are the main fighting units used by both factions. They are the smallest of the three classes, and aren't as heavily armored as a tank, but are more durable than the flight class. Their smaller size makes them fast and maneuverable, still a force to be reckoned with. They have all-around capabilities, and are very good at adapting to different combat situations. Some even have the ability to fly, while others can repair other battle machines during combat. UplinkGate DefenderWhite LightningSentrySentry II Tank-class Battle Machines are just what their name implies: tanks. They aren't the fastest mechs on the battle field, but can take as much damage as they dish out. The largest of the three classes, these mechs are nearly unstoppable, wading into crowds of enemy mechs and leaving piles of twisted scrap in their wake. However, that heavy armor comes at a price. None of these have the ability to fly, and are slowest Battle Machines on the field. Grand TitanSupernovaThunder FuryVenom Flight-class Battle Machines are the fastest things in the air. They forgo the heavier armor of Tanks and Soldiers for sheer speed and maneuverability. All have the ability to fly, and frequently do so during combat. They are perfect for hit-and-run tactics, zooming into combat and decimating enemies with heavy weapons, before making a jet-assisted getaway before the enemy has a chance to react. Stealth HunterSilent StrikeFire VultureHuman Stealth Hunter Fast flying battle machine, mainly used for recon and ambush attacks. Has no additional armor, but makes up for this with build-in stealth technology. While going full stealth drains power, it is completely invisible to enemy battle machines. Silent Strike Standard human flying battle machine, light armor provides moderate protection. Generally used for standard aerial attacks on robot battle machines. It is more durable than the Stealth Hunter, but is slightly slower as a result. Grand Titan Heavily armored human battle machine, and easily the most heavily armored of all battle machines in use, the Grand Titan is nearly indestructible. Though it pays the price with a complete lack of maneuverability, to the point where more agile battle machine would be running in circles around it. Supernova The Supernova is a standard ground battle machine. It has moderate armor, allowing it to take a beating while still retain some form of mobility on the battlefield. Back-mounted solar panels allow it to collect extra power for super-charged shots from it's weapons. Uplink These small battle machines take the role of "medic", able to quickly get to damaged battle machines and repair them. Medium armor provides protection, while each has access to various tools and equipment to keep battle machines running. Gate Defender Like its name suggests, the Gate Defender is built for defense of locations. With the ability to fly, this battle machine can pepper attackers with laser rounds, before retreating behind cover. It is slightly more armored than the Silent Strike, allowing this smaller battle machine to survive a surprising amount of damage. White Lightning While lacking the armor of the Gate Defender, the flying battle machine White Lightning provides almost unmatched air speed capabilities. This makes it great for scouting, as well as hit-and-run tactics. It's the fastest thing in the air. Robots Fire Vulture A very tough flying robot battle machine, Fire Vultures have a single massive turbo fan to keep themselves in the air. Although not as fast in the air as human battle machines such as the Stealth Hunter, it's extreme agility makes it more than a match in aerial battles. It has slightly more armor than the human's Silent Strike, further giving it an edge in combat. Thunder Fury A walking colossus of thick tanetium armor and heavy weapons, the robot's Thunder Fury battle machine is only bested by the human's own Grand Titan in terms of sheer survivability. However, the cockpit-mounted light gatling laser cannon that all Thunder Furies come equipped with more than makes up for it's slightly less durable armor. Venom A battle machine that makes use of the Thunder Fury's durable frame, the Venom is an extremely heavily armed battle machine that sacrifices a portion of the original Thunder Fury's armor for sheer firepower. It's frame has a brace for an addition shoulder-mounted weapon, while it's lighter armor allows it to move quickly throughout the battlefield. Two integrated laser cannons add additional firepower. Sentry A smaller robot battle machine, Sentries are extremely effective soldiers. Their armor is comparable to that of the human's much larger Supernova, but with speed and agility that benefits their small size. Sentry II A slightly less armored version of the original Sentry, the Sentry II has a build-in airscoop that can be used as both a weapon and as a means for movement. Acting as jump-jet like device, it can quickly move around the battlefield. Completely custom mechs are available for use, however the mech design must be preapproved by staff before use. PM a staff member with the general outline and abilities of it. While not required, a paragraph or two of why we should allow such a mech design into the game would go a long way to getting it approved. Profiles Profile generally follow this format, though more points can be added should you feel the need to do so. Players are allowed five characters, and each character is allowed one battle machine. You can modify, alter, or even completely change your battle machine should you feel the need. Profiles should be posted in the topic for approval. Name: (Self-explanatory.) Gender: (Self-explanatory, I mean really.) Right Shoulder:Left Shoulder:Right Hand:Left Hand:Torso:Appearance: (If it deviates from the norm at all.)Notes: (Anything else.) Rules: 1. All BZP Forum rules apply. No flaming, spamming, insulting other members, trolling or inappropriate content allowed. 2. Controlling other player's PCs is forbidden unless said player gives permission, this is known as “bunnying”, and isn't very fun for all involved. 3. No Autohitting, Godmodding, Metagaming, Deus Ex Machina’s, or other overpowered gameplay. Autohitting is having an attack hit another character without giving the player a chance to defend himself. God-Modding is having your character do overpowered actions, such as destroying a few hundred Thunder Furies in your Uplink or somehow randomly obtaining “super-dooper indestructable mega-uber armor from my uncle”. Metagaming is your character using knowledge he/she would not know IC, like immediately knowing exactly what your enemy's weakness is upon looking at him. 4. At the beginning of all Role-Playing posts in the RPG, you must put down “IC:” – IC Stands for”In-Character”. 5. Likewise, at the Beginning of any Non-Role-playing posts, Put “OOC:” – This stands for “Out Of Character”.For example: IC: Green lasers shot from Uplink's twin cannons, blasting into the armor of a nearby Sentry, the enemy battle machine falling to the ground with two neat smoking holes going through it. However, more of the brown-armored mechs were already on their way. OOC: Anyone mind giving me some backup? 6. You cannot kill or seriously maim another player’s character without their permission. Amendment 6a: This is not to say that you can't fire a killing shot at someone, though you cannot role play the attack hitting and killing their character. This falls under an extreme case of autohitting. However, if your character is put in a situation where under realistic circumstances where they will die, then they will die. Breaking rule 3 to have your character escape is not allowed without staff permission. If you don't want your character to die, PM the other player and try and work something out so that your character may escape realistically. 7. Try to keep excessively gruesome descriptions to a minimum. This is a children’s site, so let’s treat it that way. 8. As Exo-Force was distinctly separate from other Lego themes, try and reflect this while playing. While short, fun, cameos of other characters are permissible, don't suddenly have a bunch of knights and trolls come and join the fight. 7. Pretty sure this belongs here. Anyways, let's chat about Exo-Force. I'll start things off with: What is your favorite set?
  8. So, how many of you remember Exo-Force? Exo-Force was theme involving humans battling robots in giant mech suits. Backstory: The humans leader, Sensei Kieken, had created robots to help as aids to the humans, but the head robot, Meca One, rebelled. The humans battled the Meca One and his robots until the mountain they lived on split in half. The humans rebuilt their settlements and built bridges to connect the 2 halves of the mountain, but then the robots reappeared and took over one of the halves of the mountain. The humans defend their half using battle machines the Kieken created. The theme had a bit of japanese style art and storytelling that made it popular with the anime/manga fandom (there's a name for the fandom, but I can't remember what it is), but the theme was generally well-liked by average lego fans (like me) as well. The story was incredibly in-depth and was probably one of the best stories created to go along with a theme, ranking up there with themes like: Bionicle, Knights Kingdom II, and Ninjago. I liked the theme because of the battle mechs, which were some of the most innovative designs I had seen lego come up with since bionicle. Post your thoughts on the theme here.
  9. Hey everyone, so I've been poking around a bit, and it seems that the old exo-force discussions are old and I probably shouldn't reopen the discussion, so I've decided to start a new one. I'm trying to gather together all the exo-force fans still out there to talk about stuff in a skype group, whether it's canon or fan-made. I want to talk to other people, I know I'm not the only one! I recently dug up my exo-force sets from the basement (I'm one of the few people who can say they own every flippin set, and have 75% of the boxes), I put them back together, seems to me like they've still got all their pieces, though I didn't try to piece the Sentai Fortress or the Sentai Golden Tower back together (the buildings are the most fragile). A few problems I noticed were that of the 12 light bricks I have, only 2 of them are still at full brightness, 8 are very dim, and 2 of them are completely dead. Anyone got any suggestions as to how I could maybe pry it open and replace the battery or bulb, whichever one has died, or if there's somewhere I can buy them fully-powered in bulk for a reasonable price. If you know anything, please let me know! I am currently the owner of the exo-force wiki as well, and I've recently been working on it, I've posted download links for the original comics (0-39), and I've been writing my own fanfic of an ending to the series as comic 40, and my own fanfic book series. Come and join me in my discussion either on the wiki or a skype group if I can get enough people together! The Exo-Force Wiki -> http://exo-force.wik.../Exo-Force_Wiki (perms given by B6)So I found these really cool little cubee craft exo-force figs, and made the Hikaru one, they're adorable :3http://www.brickshel...six-d4eznm4.png (that's the print file that you can use to make this)Credit to: randyfivesixSince this seems to be getting of slow, lets start this topic off with a question to get the discussion goingWhat was your favorite battle machine, and your favorite character? (and why?).(My apologies if I've broken any rules, please post here if I've broken any rules, I've been told the rules about links are very strict, so I hope I haven't broken any).

Prologue The Beginning You may expect this story to be about the days when the robots lived at peace with the humans, but those stories are simple and boring. No, this book tells the tale of peace after the dreaded robots were forced into the deep pit between the two halves of the mountain known as the Gorge. This is the tale telling the story of how the robots recovered in the Gorge, and how the humans managed to defend their home against the robots, even though we, the humans, only had simple mining vehicles. It is a tale of many deaths, a tale of near defeat, a tale of sacrifices beyond comprehension that resulted in the survival of humanity as we know it. I am Sensei Keiken, and this is my tale…

This one hits on the mysteries of the past long before exo-force was established, before robots were built, when there was a small community living inside a well-known city, known as the Golden City, follow Kye as he attempts to protect the city from an intelligent race of creatures known as the Chronoids.Long ago, before the war between exo-force and the robots, there was a Golden City. Shrouded in mystery up until now, the history of the Golden City is revealed in detail in this book. Follow Kye as he lives through the last days of the Golden City, fending off the dreaded Chronoids in an effort to protect the city’s inhabitants. Chapter 1 Gold Kye (pronounced KY) rushed down the steps that led to his house. He swerved round the corner at top speed, nearly knocking over a merchant that was selling fruit at the side of the road. He continued running down the street. Kye’s father had sent for him; Kye’s father was one of the most well-known scientists in the entire Golden City, and was currently working on a breakthrough discovery in the progress of renewable power. Kye came to a large building on the left side of town, he walked in, and a secretary at the front desk nodded her head, pointing at an elevator on the right side of the room. Kye entered it and pressed the button for the basement level, and he felt the elevator slide slowly down underground. The doors opened and he came into a large familiar room, his father’s experiment lab. He stared around; there were several large mechs, known as battle machines. There was one in particular that caught his eye, a red and white one with a massive golden cannon and shield, his father had dubbed it, “The Golden Guardian”. It used breakthrough technology that allowed it to fly short distances, even though it was extremely heavy because of all the real gold-platinum alloy that made up the shield, cannon, and some of the armor. His father had given Kye the privilege of testing it in the training arena, and he had been able to defeat even the Blade Titan, the Golden City’s main ground defense battle machine. Kye walked over to his father, who was typing around on a keyboard and smiling as he worked. He tapped his father’s shoulder. “Kye, good you’re here!” His father said, “We’ve found a way to channel the power of the sun and power a battle machine, and it’s got a strong enough battery that it can last for several hours, even if it’s not in direct sunlight.” His father pointed at the computer screen, and Kye looked at it. There were several lines of text that he didn’t understand, but there was a blueprint for a solar panel, it was coated with a thin layer of glass, and the light appeared to be magnified down into a solar panel underneath, it was very small, but because of the magnification, it was far stronger than the original beam of light. Kye turned to his father and said, “Have you tested it yet?” His father shook his head and said, “No, but that’s why I wanted you here. We’ve set up three of these panels on the Golden Guardian, one on the back of the shield, and two in the upper cockpit; I want you to test it out, since you did so well for the Golden Guardian’s first test run.” Kye’s eyes widened and he tried to hold in his excitement, his father didn’t need an answer, “Great! I knew you’d be excited, let’s get the Golden Guardian up to the surface and we can try it out in the arena!” About thirty minutes later, the massive battle machine known as the Golden Guardian had been moved into the large training area known simply as, ‘The Arena’. Kye got up into the cockpit, and moved his hands over the two touch panels that were used to move the battle machine’s hands. Kye spoke through the battle machine’s speaker system and said, “Alright, I’m going to power up.” His father nodded and gave him a thumbs up, and Kye pressed a large orange button to his left. The battle machine shuddered a little, then its arms rose up from their sides and the legs moved into the same stance that Kye was in. That was his favorite part of the battle machine, due to the limited size of the cockpit, he wasn’t able to have movement detectors for the battle machine’s arms, but the feet of the battle machine had movement detectors and would act like his did. Kye moved the battle machine’s arms, testing to make sure they were working. The battle machine moved exactly the same way they did when they had the standard Magnetized Oroniate power source. He moved around a bit, and he looked up as the Blade Titan emerged from its gate on the other side of the arena. The pilot, Shyke (pronounced SHIKE), the best trained pilot in the city and well known for his piloting skills, glared at Kye from inside the cockpit. Kye thought to himself, “He’s still sore about last month when I defeated him with the Golden Guardian.” Kye’s father and his assistant rushed back through the gate. His father’s voice yelled over the speakers, “Three, Two, One, FIGHT!” Kye moved in a split second, using the battle machine’s short-range flight, he jumped up into the air, firing several shots from his cannon, just barely missing the Blade Titan’s left arm. Shyke dove to the left, wasting no time in unloading his heavy ammo on Kye, firing his four shoulder-mounted missile pods at Kye. The first two hit the Golden Guardian’s shield, but the next two slipped by and hit the cockpit, knocking Kye off his feet and causing the Golden Guardian to crash to the ground. Kye shook his head back and forth, dazed. Shyke had wasted no time, and was already half way across the arena, preparing to finish the Golden Guardian off. Kye stood back up again, swinging his shield in front of him for protection as the Blade Titan slammed into him. Kye pulled the shield back against his wrist, and swung it wrist-mounted-dagger-style at the blade titan, slicing off one of the shoulder armor pieces. Shyke jumped back, avoiding another attack from the Golden Guardian’s shield. Suddenly the Golden Guardian fell flat on its face into the sand, and Kye looked over at the power level reading. The bar had suddenly dropped to zero. He flipped on the emergency energy, powered by a small source of Magnetized Oroniate. He spoke into the microphone and said, “Dad, I think the power just conked out.” His father rushed over to the downed battle machine, and with the help of the Blade Titan they managed to roll it over. Kye pushed open the cockpit’s door, and jumped out onto the ground. He walked over to his father, who was examining the solar panel on the shield. He said, “The solar panel shattered and then fried the battery when you used the shield as a blade, it couldn’t handle that much stress. We’ll have to either find another place to put the solar panel, or just have to make sure it isn’t used as a blade again.” Suddenly a voice was heard over the speakers, “The Golden City is under attack! Chronoids are attacking the western gate!” Kye’s eyes widened and he said, “Western Gate, that’s only a little ways from here!” Suddenly he looked up, two massive battle machines coated with thick black and dark yellow paint flew over the top of the wall to his right, aiming their cannons at Kye and his father…
  15. On the wiki: http://exo-force.wik...ok_1:_The_Gorge (Perms given by B6)Review Topic: http://www.bzpower.c...?showtopic=4844(Next Book) Book 2: Golden City Origins: http://www.bzpower.c...?showtopic=4845 Introduction Alrightsy everyone, I've been recently working on an exo-force epic series, trying to fill in some of the blanks that were left when exo-force had it's cliffhanger ending, and not just ones from the Deep Jungle Era, I begin the series with a well-known event of the White Lightning vs. Bridge Walker battle, and you find out many things that were left a mystery in Book 4: Ghost of the Past, of the original canon series. The battle between the White Lightning and B.W.1 is over, with Ha-Ya-To leaving victorious, but Meca One’s battle is just beginning, read the previously untold story as Meca One travels through a deep and seemingly unending journey as he attempts to get back to his base, all while avoiding a strange creature that feeds on raw energy. Chapter 1 The Fall “Nooooooooo!” Meca One screamed as his Bridge Walker, B.W.1 plummeted over the edge of the bridge. The leader of the robots felt the wind rush past his metallic body. He stared downwards as the massive walker fell down deeper and deeper into the giant pit known as the Gorge that lay between the two halves of the Sentai Mountain. He calculated that at this rate of decent, he would not survive the fall. Suddenly, the walker hit water with a loud metallic clap, and one of its massive arms broke off of the battle machine, and flew off to the right of the water. Meca One felt the water rushing into the cockpit, but felt no urgency to get out, his body was immune to water; but the bridge walker’s twin power cores were not, the vehicle began to short circuit, and Meca One slammed his metal claw on the eject button, but it didn’t respond. He swung his outstretched hand at the roof of the cockpit, slicing open the layer of glass and plastic alloy used for the windshield. He swam upwards as B.W.1 exploded beneath him. His gold head broke the surface, and he pushed his way over to the bank. He stared around; there were some forms of vegetation around him, a few mosquitoes buzzed around in the air. Suddenly Meca One noticed something, the arm of B.W.1 lay several yards away, and one of his gunners, a Devastator, was emerging from the remains of the cannon arm. The robot stepped onto the ground, and saw Meca One immediately and it kneeled and said, “Leader, what are your orders?” Meca One said, “Are you still fully functional? Do you have your back-up power cell and hand-held blaster?” The robot nodded and said, “Yes, leader.” Meca One said, “Good, give me your extra cell, I’m going to need it since mine was lost with the rest of the unit. Get your weapon, we must figure out a way to reach the base again.” The Devastator reached into the damaged B.W.1 arm, and pulled out a small red energy cell, which it handed to Meca One, then it grabbed a blaster. The two robots walked into a dense Jungle, silently looking around, and not saying anything, robots feel no need for conversation, they are both almost the same in programming, and anything they think of the other has already calculated, and there’s no point in wasting energy on pointing it out unless it poses a threat. Suddenly there was a rustle of leaves, and the Devastator turned towards the sound, aiming its blaster carefully. Suddenly the bushes parted and a squirrel darted out from the brush. The Devastator fired several shots at the creature, killing it. It walked up to it and said, “Some form of rodent, it appears to be no threat.” It walked away from the creature, which lay motionless, but after the two robots had moved on, a shadow flashed past the squirrel, snatching it up and darting back into the bushes. Meca One pulled one of his energy cells out from his head, and looked at how much power it had left, he calculated that as long as nothing abnormal happened, such as battle or something else that would require heavy calculation, then it should last for about three more hours, combined with the other one, six hours. He slid it back in and continued walking. The two robots suddenly came out into an open area, there was a spot where several tree stumps had once been, but they had been burned away, and all that remained was ash and scarred ground. Meca One spoke, “The remains of one of our camps during the rebellion, there might be equipment we can use nearby.” The Devastator nodded, and they split up. Meca One walked back into the forest, looking around for damaged mining vehicles or equipment, suddenly he heard a metallic yell, and he turned back and walked into the clearing. He cautiously walked into the brush that the Devastator had gone into, and he spotted something a ways off. He walked closer, and saw that it was a damaged mining vehicle, the Vulture Drone; the predecessor of the Fire Vulture, which meant it could fly. He looked inside the cockpit, nothing seemed badly damaged about it, the only real damage was that one of its arms, originally with a drill, was missing, but that was unimportant. He opened up the cockpit, not caring what had happened to the Devastator, after all, there was nothing down here that could cause damage to him, and the Vulture Drone was only capable of carrying one unit, and his survival was of far more importance than a simple minion. He pressed a button on his arm, and transferred all but a very small amount of energy into one of his energy cells. He pulled the remaining one with a little bit of power out and slid it into the Vulture Drone’s power slot. He powered the Mining Vehicle up, and moved the controls, causing it to stand up. He pressed a button to his right, and the vehicle lifted off the ground slowly, he piloted it around for a while, until it shut down from using up all the energy and landed back down on the ground. He slid the energy cell back into his head, and was about to put the full back up energy cell into the Vulture Drone, when suddenly there was a noise, he looked to his left, and suddenly the Devastator flew out of the forest right into the Vulture Drone, and toppled it. The golden robot got back onto his feet, and looked at the ground, the Devastator lay on the ground, its eyes were dark, and as Meca one looked closer both of its energy cells were empty. Meca One looked at the forest. Suddenly a creature darted out from the bushes. Meca One held his hands up in front of his face as the creature screeched and dove at him...

  18. So I was viewing the building instructions for Dark Panther, and was inspired to build a combiner using only its pieces alongside Storm Lasher's. I was faced with a problem, though; I thought I'd lost so many pieces out of both sets that searching in my Lego box for the necessary parts would take too much time. So I resolved the problem by starting my computer and accessing LDD, hence embarking on an awesome building expedition that lasted two days.First off I was faced with the laborious task of importing every single piece from Lego Extended onto the display as if I was working with those pieces. I then had to specify the quotas and limits so that the MOC would be built out of pieces from both sets only. The agonizing three-hour process went well, and eventually I started building. This is what I came up with.If you download the file, you will find that the build comprises of almost 500 pieces. This was a very exhaustive project that I want you guys to review. Link to the LDD file Here.Comments and Criticism greatly appreciated.
