Midak Skyblaster, Post-Game Entry
Trijhak posted a blog entry in Unspoken WordsWell, that ended up being a bit more of a mess than I intended. There were sixteen players. They did not need a total of 48 blasts of light. 32 of those would go unused, maybe one or two more. If there is ever a second game, then you shall probably only get one or two blasts of light. Less redundancy - and easier to keep track of. Plus, the zamors get more important. Only about half of all players were targeted with zamor spheres. Most of those at least twice. Kapura's popular with zamor spheres. Lucina, Burnmad, Vox, and RG are also popular with zamor spheres, but not as much, Zox and Fishers targeted the exact same people with their blasts of light. Zox was quicker to submit. Only one person failed to submit targets, and that was Burnmad. Nobody survived! Not a single person went untargeted. I think a second iteration of the game should be called 'THORNAX LAUNCHER' instead. One thornax, one zamor. Plus, zamors can fit in thornax launchers, and it's easier to say 'PLAYER was hit by a thornax!' than 'PLAYER was hit from a blast of light from a Midak Skyblaster!'. Still no zombies.
G&T Game Idea
Trijhak posted a blog entry in Unspoken WordsI've got an idea for a G&T game. First thought about a 'Free-for-all' Mafia, but that would be chaos, plus it's already been done. Then thought about an idea that spun off of that one, except with zamors if you remembered what they did in 2006. Basically, you targeted someone and they then shifted allegiance to you. Anyone they targeted would also ultimately be aligned to you. But that would be chaos, not to mention that that if we assume no two people target the same person, we have a loop of allegiance. Members A-Z all answer to the next member along but Z would end up answering to A who answers to Z who answers to A... yeah, you see the problem with that? And then there's also the problem if two people target each other. Maybe instead a game called 'Midak Skyblaster'. Everyone gets one, with all four spheres of ammo. Except one's a zamor. Objective? Kill everyone else/as many people as possible with your three spheres capable of killing. Use the zamor to extend your influence beyond those three spheres. Once all the ammunition in the Midak Skyblaster is used, you're basically helpless and can't do anything else. If two people use zamors on each other they end up dying because of an endless 'I-answer-to-you-and-you-answer-to-me' loop which results in a big green explosion. If someone who's been zamored by someone else and they zamor them or the person that zamored the person who zamored them, they assume the 'top' position. Nobody knows if they've been zamored, though! So, basically, try and get as many kills by killing three people and being at the top of the biggest zamor chain. It shall be a quick game - you use all of your ammunition when everybody has signed up and the game starts. Then the results are posted and the game ends after about 48 hours or so. 48 hours because this isn't Mafia, but is ultimately inspired by it. Alright, how does 'Midak Skyblaster' sound as a quick game with those things considered?
POLL: ALL CAPS TOPIC TITLES
fishers64 posted a topic in General DiscussionWay back in the day BZPower had some sort of restriction that prevented all-caps topic titles. These days you can do that to (hopefully) make your topic stand out. But does it really help? Or does it make you look like an overly dramatic attention-seeking noob? Time to find out. Vote away!
The Anagram Game
Naota Takizawa posted a topic in Games & TriviaWell, this is simply a random game I got after playing in the other games for a while. The player(s) has to take the last letter from a scrambled word and use the last letter to make another anagram of a bionicle themed word. The original word also has to be posted. Here's an example given by Windrider. Post 1: Ahu Post 2: (Hau) Ukamat Post 3: (Makuta) Tuhapo The post above gives an anagram for the next player to unscramble, while keeping the last letter rule. Titles for characters can also be included. E.g. Karma Tutu Man (Makuta Mutran) Have fun with this game! (Credit to Windrider & Sergei for adding suggestions to this game.)
Versus 2 Challenge Response
Naota Takizawa posted a topic in General DiscussionOne day, a skakdi walked into a dentist's office. "Now, just take a seat on this chair." The dentist instructed the spined creature. It merely grunted in response and leaned back on the dentist's chair as it reclined and the skakdi was lying down. "Now, say aaahhhh." Said the dentist as he leaned over the creature's teeth. It revealed its sharp teeth and the doctor recoiled in disgust. "Eww... that smells terrible! Almost as bad as a rotten banana sliding down a slide covered in the slime of a dripping pen filled with lemon flavored ink colored green!" The skakdi took offense at this statement and roared as he lifted the dentist and threw him through a wall, giving the patients waiting outside a nasty shock.
NIIIINNJJJAAAAGOOOO: FEUDAL KINGDOMS
Trijhak posted a blog entry in Unspoken WordsTHERE ARE ONLY 24 HOURS LEFT TO SIGN UP FOR NINJAGO MAFIA: FEUDAL KINGDOMS. LAST CHANCES TO SIGN UP. WE DEMAND THAT YOU DO SIGN UP. SEABORGIUM WILL ACCOMMODATE SEVEN MORE PEOPLE IF NEED BE. TELL YOUR FRIENDS. GET THEM TO JOIN. Remember to dispose of them if they refuse and find more agreeable people. We're not against using bloodshed, you know? By joining, you help delay that bloodshed. We're very nice people when we're not forced to carry out the will of an element on the periodic table. That element on the periodic table is a monster: he can only be defeated by YOU. We've decided that Unity, Duty, Destiny applies here. We can only be united if you sign up. It is our duty to sign up! It is even your destiny to sign up! Fulfil your destiny and join the club of the people who have completed their UDD! (unity, duty, destiny) You won't actually achieve your destiny, do your duty, or achieve unity. But we can make it feel like that is the case. In G&T, we're not opposed to new people. We need them. For sustenance.
