Hello, happy 810NICLE day USA people! Ran out of time to post this update on my project but as the Island is a build of it's own I'll just post it here: MNR_2022ISLAND1280×960 67.3 KB (Thanks to my brother, @eilrach for help with this, took us 2 or 3 days of work to get it like this, it’s not perfect but this along with 6 mini Toa Mata was going to be the final update) (Note: This was written just before it got 10k) Well, here we are, on the verge of 10,000 supporters. I won’t be able to update this once it hits the goal so some aspects such as the Island of Mata Nui won’t get seen here…although I will post a version of the GSR with that and instructions to Bricklink so keep an eye out for that! (I will stay true to my promise!) Gathered friends, thank you. When this started out, it felt impossible to get here, this was my first Studio build and I did not know if I would complete it. Once it was built, I did not know if people would be interested, but we did it, thanks to you, a Toa, a hero. Thank you all. Thank you Maskposting, thank you r/bioniclelego, thank you TTV Boards-my digital home, thank you BZP, thank you to all those who shared the message whether it be on “Biscord” or “Biogram” and thank you to all the people who gave input and advice-you were heard. And thank you to all those with other projects, who code and modify games, those with digital forges in which new masks and tools are made, who make mocs from worlds both strange and familiar, those who film stop motions, those who review and those who write new tales. You have ensured that Bionicle has never been gone. Whatever happens from here, Bionicle will continue to live on. I was brought into the fandom by fan works and I’m sure many more will be. I’ll end things off by quoting the lad himself: “All journey’s must come to an end, but this time, there is a new beginning as well. There will be challenges to face and enemies to fight, but I know you will overcome. All that has gone before, my friends, has only served to give birth to this new day. Let unity, duty and destiny be your guides. Be well, be strong, care for this world and for each other. Farewell.” - Mata Nui Greg Farshtey -Axelford

Hello, and welcome to my Buy/Sell Topic! There's not much to look at yet, but I'm curious to see how much interest there is for little trinkets. As of right now I'm selling resin-cast Mata Nui totems and mis-casts (see photos below). I've gone through a few different processes trying to make easily repeatable casts, and I've gotten as close as I think is possible with the resources I've available. If you're interested in seeing photos of the progress, you can check out this topic and this topic. The design of the totem is a personal interpretation of the stone totems found in MNOG. I've been working on a more "screen-accurate" version, but it's on hold until I finish school. If you'd like to order a totem, please post here and I will DM you to square away the details. If you'd like one of the mis-casts, post which you are interested in (the number), and I will remove it from the list. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask. I'm not expecting this to take off, but if there's some interest, it'll be a nice way to recoup some of the material costs while going to school and allow me to continue to experiment. As I'm taking classes right now, the processing time will be one week from the order date (except for mis-casts). Payment and shipping will be handled as follows: - Payment will be sent through PayPal - Buyer pays shipping: $3.00 (USD) - Items will ship as soon as payment is received - I am only shipping within the US as of right now (I will likely be changing this in the future and apologize for any inconvenience) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cold-Cast Aluminum – Finished: $15.00 Finished casts are buffed with steel wool, rubbed with acetone and black shoe polish (separately), and coated in an acrylic spray to seal the details. Cold-Cast Aluminum – Unfinished: $12.00 Unfinished casts have a flat, stone-like appearance. Please note that the outer layer of these casts is very thin and will easily rub away to reveal the aluminum underneath. If you wish to preserve the flat, unfinished look, refrain from handling them when possible, and keep them away from abrasive objects when storing. Black / Translucent: $8.00 These casts contain no aluminum powder. The resin cures as a translucent, soft amber and can be colored with black pigment if desired. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mis-Casts: No. 1 No. 2 No. 3 No. 4 No. 5 No. 6 No. 7 No. 8 No. 9 No. 10 No. 11 No. 12 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The purpose of this topic is not merely to see how much interest there is, as I'm completely prepared to sell what you see above. The plan is to offer other things at some point in the future, and honestly I'm not sure if a topic like this is permitted. If not, then close it, and I will create a more traditional topic later. Thanks for looking! JB

Now I'm pretty sure this topic reared its head in these forums, possibly even several times, but the search function didn't toss anything out and I'm also pretty sure all of those threads are beyond the necro threshold. So this is pretty simple: where in the Bionicle universe(s) would you live? I included G2's Okoto as well. While it wouldn't be my personal choice, I do see it being a possible selection for some fans. It is similar to Mata-Nui, true, however Okotoan architecture is pretty unique when compared to things in G1 so I see reason for it to be a legitimate choice. There are several more named islands in the GSR, however the poll only allows for 17 options. Feel free to write up why you chose what you chose, since this is supposed to be a discussion after all. For me, Metru Nui is the obvious choice. I've said as much on two occasions in two separate topics recently, as Metru Nui always fascinated me. The idea of a massive, technologically advanced city which is rooted in natural elements regardless (Po-Metru is a literal desert in spite of being part of a metropolis, Ga-Metru is beautiful with its lakes and lagunas) has always captivated my imagination. It was my favorite setting across all of G1 as well, precisely because of all the potential it had. That said, I was a tad disappointed when some years later, after reading up on official lore, that it is actually pretty small and only has about a thousand Matoran living in it (canonically, though others have mentioned how in LoMN, more are shown). In my headcanon, Metru-Nui will always remain the inconceivably massive sprawling sci-fi metropolis with countless millions of Matoran working, living, playing and resting among its skyscrapers. So which location would be your preferred home in the Bionicle universe?

What if there was a game like no other? A game that stepped outside the usual cliches of ComputerRPG and Real-Time Strategy? A game set on the most incredible island you'll ever visit? A game you could play again, and again, and again... And each time have a completely different experience? The OmniMyth is coming. And when it does, #NothingWillNeverBeTheSame. Follow Fanatic Studios on Twitter for updates.

So I was wondering to myself what would bionicle (or in this case Bone-Heads) and the lego company itself have been like if bionicle was released as it's original concept (that being Bone-Heads), if you don't know what Bone-Heads was I'll leave a link to the "bionicle autopsy" video where it explains what Bone-Heads was, skip to 1:13 to find out. So yeah what would have happened if Bone-Heads/bionicle was released as it was originally conceptualized?

An island I has been working on since... well, quite a long time, for a project that has been in my mind since... well, the dawn of my creative hobby.... with many reboots, retooling, and stuff involved. Nothing says fun for me than create an island, which I proudly present to you as a Bionicle fan-Island, and it's own thing as well.

Hi guys, this is the IIA Kit (I prefer it to be pronounced like "Aya"). The IIA stands for "Inika Island Assault". So, yeah, this is my first kit, so to kick it off, I've included Hakann sprites! Hakann (Credit: TLG; Les Tanukis) Red color shades (Credit: Damaracx) Orange color shades (Credit: Damaracx) Explosion (Credit: TLG; Les Tanukis) Feel free to add anything! (I'll try to get a VNOLG Kit up as well!)

Picture yourself as the ruler of a piece, or pieces of land in the Matoran universe. Do you rule over an island? An island chain? A continent? What is the kingdom's geography? Is it a barren desert? A place filled with jungles? Is it a city? What is the name of your kingdom? And the islands inhabitants? What are they? What does your kingdom pay allegiance to? Yourself? The Great Spirit? Do you have your own agenda? And does your kingdom have an army to enforce, protect, or carry out these agendas? What are the soldiers of your army if you have one? What weapons do they use? What place does your kingdom have in the story? Use your imagination here in this topic.

So any one read this graphic novel yet? It's a lot like Bionicle in a coupleways.
