This is a series I've been thinking about writing for awhile, it's much better quality than some of my previous works, so I hope you like it! Review Topic Chapter 1 The Green Gharo stared forward, his eyes locked on the massive reptilian Rahi in front of him. He had been traveling through the Geuro Jungles that afternoon in search for more Thornax fruit that he could use for his launcher. The massive blue Rahi opened its mouth, revealing a huge set of dripping teeth. Gharo glanced from side to side, making sure there weren't any other Rahi waiting to ambush him from the side or behind. His eyes narrowed, and the creature charged towards him, letting out half-screech, half-bark noises that would have even made a Makuta hide. Gharo jumped into the air, and the creature's eyes glanced upwards as Gharo's long black claws glinted in the sun. He reached his hand out in mid jump, and a vine came flying towards him out of the woods, giving him enough balance to swing around and stab his claws into the creature's back. The Rahi swerved back and forth, trying to shake Gharo from his back, and Gharo felt his arms beginning to tire. He activated his Kanohi Faxon, and he felt strength that matched the Rahi's fill his body. He dug his claws in harder, and the creature shook back and forth, but it was to no avail. Finally, Gharo got tired of messing with the creature, and he let go, causing him to soar through the air. He rolled with the momentum, and grabbed onto a vine that was hanging from a tree nearby. He swung around in the opposite direction, and flipped upwards, landing on the branch that the vine hung from. Gharo sat for a moment in silence, but suddenly a voice behind him said, "I thought you said you were looking for Thornax plants?" Gharo let out a yip and jumped into the air, and he plummeted downwards, just barely grabbing the vine he had swung from moments ago and avoiding a painful collusion with Mother Nature's floor. Gharo glared upwards at the figure that was peeking down at him. It was Tyre, a 'friend' of his and a fellow Toa of the Green, and he almost wanted to yell at him. But, he didn't, and he slowly climbed his way back upwards to sit next to Tyre, who was holding his hand over his mouth to keep from snickering. Tyre was clad in lime and forest green armor, and he wore a sleek Kanohi Miru on his face. One of his arms was long with a dark green barbed claw on the end, and the other held a shield. Tyre said, "Selva said he wants you to return to the village, apparently there's something wrong with coastline. Though I think he’s just making a big deal over nothing.” Gharo nodded, but he was so lost in thought that he didn’t really think about it. Selva was another Toa of the Green, and he was more of a quiet studier than somebody who went out and used his powers. Tyre glanced at him and said, "Want me to go tell him you don't care?" Gharo shook his head and said, "It can't hurt to check it out. Plus I haven't seen him in a while, and I've been meaning too." Tyre made a face and said, "You want to see Selva? I can't stand the guy. He doesn't do anything except study, and he doesn't even get half of my jokes." Gharo smirked and said, "Maybe it's because you aren't funny." Tyre was about to make a retort, but Gharo had already jumped through the air and grabbed a vine, and was soaring off towards the village... Chapter 2 A Disturbance Gharo walked down the streets of Geuro Village, the place that the Se-Matoran, the Matoran of the Green lived. Based off the stories he had heard from travelers, it was similar to that of a Le-Matoran city, in that it was built in the treetops. Though there were several large differences. Rather than living in huts on branches, the people of the village lived in the trees themselves, the Se-Matoran had carved out several large trees, and rather than walking across platforms to the other trees, villagers simply would grab a vine and swing to wherever they wanted to go. In the center of the village was a massive tree known as the Root Tree, in which Turaga Buruk lived. Gharo grabbed a vine and swung across towards a medium sized tree to the left of the Root Tree, one that had a massive wooden telescope housed in a log stuck out. He knocked on the door, and a voice said, "Come in." Gharo pushed the door open, and stared around the room. There were several maps and tools hung up on the walls, and sitting in the middle of the room was a figure who was holding a map in one hand, and some sort of magnification tool in the other. The figure looked up and said, "Ah, Gharo. Good to see you got my message. I wasn't sure if Tyre would deliver it." Gharo walked over to the figure and said, "Good to see you too Selva, I see your house is as clean as usual." He stared around at the floor that was covered in sharp tools that could probably rip through armor if one was stepped on, and several old maps that he was surprised weren’t completely trampled. He leaped into the air and did a flip to land next to Selva, who glanced up at Gharo, his green Mahiki flashing. Selva disliked the shape of the mask and called it uncomfortable, so he had modified it to fit his face better, making it look very much like a Miru. He pointed at the map in his hand and said, "You see the island right here?" Gharo nodded, and then Selva pointed at another map that lay on the floor next to him, "And this is the most recent picture I've taken." Gharo glanced back and forth between the two images. There was a clear distinction between the two; about half a kio was missing from the shoreline. Selva said, "Something happened about a month ago, remember when that earthquake happened?" Gharo nodded. About a month ago, a massive quake had shaken the island, but nothing had been damaged. Selva continued, "We thought nothing had happened, and everything was safe. But I've been monitoring the island for a while, and I think the stalactite that holds us to the base of the island has been damaged, or even completely shattered." Gharo's eyes widened, if that was true, they were in terrible danger. Selva continued, "I need help traveling underneath the island, I was planning on going through the Root Cave, but you know what happens to all beings who travel there." Gharo nodded. The Root Cave lay beneath the Root Tree, and traveled far below the surface of the island. Long ago it was open to the village as a public area, but something strange happened, and villagers had been reported to be lost. Buruk had ordered it to be closed off to everyone except for the Toa. If Selva was going down there, he would need help...

On the wiki: http://exo-force.wik...:_Peace_Origins (perms given by B6) Review Topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=5035(Previous Book) Book 2: Golden City Origins: http://www.bzpower.c...?showtopic=4845(Next Book) Book 4: (???) Prologue The Beginning You may expect this story to be about the days when the robots lived at peace with the humans, but those stories are simple and boring. No, this book tells the tale of peace after the dreaded robots were forced into the deep pit between the two halves of the mountain known as the Gorge. This is the tale telling the story of how the robots recovered in the Gorge, and how the humans managed to defend their home against the robots, even though we, the humans, only had simple mining vehicles. It is a tale of many deaths, a tale of near defeat, a tale of sacrifices beyond comprehension that resulted in the survival of humanity as we know it. I am Sensei Keiken, and this is my tale…

Hey there everyone, I wrote this series a long ways back, and it looks like with the new BZP it was taken down  but I decided to post it again since I have all the comics saved in a document on my computer, enjoy!Shadows of Miserix Review Topic: http://www.bzpower.c...?showtopic=4841 Shadows of Miserix: Season 1 Q & A Q: Eleven: Why did Toa Joev, Toa Strelk, and Toa Sprin kill Malox? Isn’t the rule of the Toa, "No killing" with the only exceptions being Lessovihk and Helryx?A: Joev: In this alternate universe, Toa are allowed to kill. (Yes, I know that's not the best answer, but that's just about as clear and simple as I can make it)Q: Cholie: Who is Malox and why is he wearing the Kraahkan?A: Joev: Makuta Malox is the Makuta of Mata Nui (the island), since Makuta Miserix was captured, Malox handled the guarding of his island until the Makuta could rescue Miserix, the reason he was wearing the Kraahkan, is currently...UNKOWN! (But it will be explained at some point, I promise).Q: Myself: I realized after I wrote the comics, I was a Toa of Lightning (which are only female *Facepaaaalm*) so I decided to explain why I'm not female.A: Joev: I was originally a Toa of Air, but when I caused a thunderstorm along with a Toa of Water (likely Toa Yhano), somehow it caused lightning to hit me, since I was the largest source of electrical current in the area, and it caused my Air power to be channeled out of me and into the ground, and my powers were replaced by the element of Lightning. (Yes it sounds crazy, but that's the best explanation i could come up with xP).If there are any more questions, please post them in the review topic, and I will answer them either personally, or have them answered through a comic. Thanks for all your questions, most of them had me stumped for awhile. xD Comic 1 Toa Joev (pronounced Jove), Toa Sprin, and Toa Strelk stared up at a tall platform, where another figure stood. The figure’s name was Makuta Malox. He had attacked the three Toa and had been their enemy for several weeks, but now the Toa had him cornered. Malox stared coldly at the Toa. he wore the Kanohi Kraahkan, the great mask of shadows, thought to have been lost after Makuta Miserix’s reign, but apparently wasn’t. Malox sneered and activated his mask power, shrouding the Toa in mist and darkness. Toa Sprin activated his Kanohi Akaku, the great mask of X-Ray vision, allowing him to see through the darkness. He jumped high into the air, following Malox as he tried to escape. Sprin blasted bolts of Ice interlaced with light at his enemy, pinning him to the wall. Toa Joev and Toa Strelk, now free from the bonds of the shadow and mist, dove at the ceiling, toppling down two piles of large crates filled with Levitation Discs on top of the Makuta. The three Toa flew out of the building and blasted the supports holding the building, causing it to topple down. They continued to fly until they reached a small structure, with an emblem with the seal of Protodermis etched on it. The three Toa soon landed and walked into the building. Eight other Toa were also in front of the building, speaking to each other. When they noticed they stopped and turned to face the Joev. “Where is Vakira?” said Joev. “He went to Ga-Wahi on a mission to attain a mask of Levitation, after the blast that hit Ga-Koro, we need everything related to Levitation we can to hold it up from falling down and smashing Metru-Nui.” Said a green armored Toa known as Toa Indraklon. Suddenly, a Red armored figure came hurtling out of the sky and managed to land, he had a terror-struck look in his eyes and he panted “It- It was a- a trap,” he fainted and a Toa of Iron called Cryptid rushed forward to catch the worn out Toa of Fire. Joev stepped forward and stared at the Toa of Fire, his mask was cracked with a long gash down the upper right corner, running down to the central-bottom part of the mask, there were more larger gashes on the Toa of Fire’s arms and legs, and one particularly long one down his left side, there was also one spot in particular that interested him, towards the bottom of Vakira’s left leg, were seven very small letters that had been crudely scratched into the Toa of Fire’s ankle, the letters spelled the word, Teridax. Comic 2 “Teridax.” Joev said, “I always knew he’d try to take control after Miserix was imprisoned, but I didn’t know he’d do it like this…” A tall Toa clad in Oak red armor steped forward. “I’ll take it from here.” Says the Toa of Plasma, whose name is Natroz. Natroz and another Toa named Werko carry Vakira over to a river nearby, and Natroz begins removing the Toa of Fire’s armor, then he begins fusing the damaged tissue together with his mask of Fusion. Joev walks over and picks up Vakira’s mask. It is cracked beyond repair, and as Joev turns it over, it cracks and splits into several pieces in his hands. Joev turns to a Toa of Water named Yhano and the Toa of Stone named Werko and says, “Go search around where Vakira was supposed to get that Levitation mask, you might find something.” The Toa nod and head north. Joev walks over to the Toa of Iron known as Cryptid, and says, “Do you think you can carve Vakira a new mask?” Cryptid rubs his chin for a minute, then says, “I can, but it will take a while, it’s hard to find good discs for carving masks, and it all depends on what mask he wants, his old mask was a mask of Levitation, I’ll never get my hands on a levitation disc to carve it, with the whole problem in Ga-Koro and the accident going on there.” Joev stares at the ground, then replies, “Lets wait until he can tell us what mask he wants.” Joev replies. Joev begins walking away, shouting for two other Toa to follow him, a Toa of Gravity, named Dokerio, and a Toa of Sonics, named Kriah. Together, Joev, Kriah, and Dokerio fly in the direction of an island hundreds of thousands of miles south, far down on an island very unexplored, few even knew it’s name, an island known as Tritle, way far down below the island of Artidax… Comic 3 Makuta Teridax stared coldly through a window overlooking the city of Maruta, a large civilization on the island of Tritle. Teridax smelled the air, it had the stench of war in it, and he loved it. As he watched, three figures, obviously Toa, landed on the shore of the island, they wore masks carved with intricate slits in them, and the one at the head of them was a Toa that Teridax knew well, it was Toa Joev. Teridax watched as the Toa continued to walk past the building, he knew soon the Toa would find out from someone where he was, so he had to find another spot to stay while the Toa were on the island, then he could return to his business, rescuing Miserix from his prison, and then, he and Miserix would rule side-by-side, conquering cities, islands, and eventually, the entire known universe! Teridax smiled an evil smile, and disappeared among the shadows.Toa Joev, Toa Dokerio, and Toa Kriah walked along the streets of the city of Maruta, it was a large city with many inhabitants, traders, and other species of all sorts came to the island for many reasons. Some came to buy transport to even lower islands, some came to hear news of danger and help, some came to sell goods, and unfortunately, even though it was against the law here, some came to find illegal smuggling jobs, theft, and even assassination. The three Toa walked over to a small building, one of the homes of the few Toa brave enough to guard and keep the peace on the island. The Toa was a friend of Joev, a Toa of Water named Toa Yelra, she and one other Toa, a Toa of Earth named Toa Kax, were in charge of the islands peace-keeping. As Joev walked closer, he noticed something very strange, the door appeared to have been fiddled with, and as the three Toa got closer, they saw a figure blast his way through the back wall and fly away, Toa Joev only sees a glimpse, but to his astonished surprise, the figure a Makuta, “Chirox!” Joev said in a low whisper…

This one hits on the mysteries of the past long before exo-force was established, before robots were built, when there was a small community living inside a well-known city, known as the Golden City, follow Kye as he attempts to protect the city from an intelligent race of creatures known as the Chronoids.Long ago, before the war between exo-force and the robots, there was a Golden City. Shrouded in mystery up until now, the history of the Golden City is revealed in detail in this book. Follow Kye as he lives through the last days of the Golden City, fending off the dreaded Chronoids in an effort to protect the city’s inhabitants. Chapter 1 Gold Kye (pronounced KY) rushed down the steps that led to his house. He swerved round the corner at top speed, nearly knocking over a merchant that was selling fruit at the side of the road. He continued running down the street. Kye’s father had sent for him; Kye’s father was one of the most well-known scientists in the entire Golden City, and was currently working on a breakthrough discovery in the progress of renewable power. Kye came to a large building on the left side of town, he walked in, and a secretary at the front desk nodded her head, pointing at an elevator on the right side of the room. Kye entered it and pressed the button for the basement level, and he felt the elevator slide slowly down underground. The doors opened and he came into a large familiar room, his father’s experiment lab. He stared around; there were several large mechs, known as battle machines. There was one in particular that caught his eye, a red and white one with a massive golden cannon and shield, his father had dubbed it, “The Golden Guardian”. It used breakthrough technology that allowed it to fly short distances, even though it was extremely heavy because of all the real gold-platinum alloy that made up the shield, cannon, and some of the armor. His father had given Kye the privilege of testing it in the training arena, and he had been able to defeat even the Blade Titan, the Golden City’s main ground defense battle machine. Kye walked over to his father, who was typing around on a keyboard and smiling as he worked. He tapped his father’s shoulder. “Kye, good you’re here!” His father said, “We’ve found a way to channel the power of the sun and power a battle machine, and it’s got a strong enough battery that it can last for several hours, even if it’s not in direct sunlight.” His father pointed at the computer screen, and Kye looked at it. There were several lines of text that he didn’t understand, but there was a blueprint for a solar panel, it was coated with a thin layer of glass, and the light appeared to be magnified down into a solar panel underneath, it was very small, but because of the magnification, it was far stronger than the original beam of light. Kye turned to his father and said, “Have you tested it yet?” His father shook his head and said, “No, but that’s why I wanted you here. We’ve set up three of these panels on the Golden Guardian, one on the back of the shield, and two in the upper cockpit; I want you to test it out, since you did so well for the Golden Guardian’s first test run.” Kye’s eyes widened and he tried to hold in his excitement, his father didn’t need an answer, “Great! I knew you’d be excited, let’s get the Golden Guardian up to the surface and we can try it out in the arena!” About thirty minutes later, the massive battle machine known as the Golden Guardian had been moved into the large training area known simply as, ‘The Arena’. Kye got up into the cockpit, and moved his hands over the two touch panels that were used to move the battle machine’s hands. Kye spoke through the battle machine’s speaker system and said, “Alright, I’m going to power up.” His father nodded and gave him a thumbs up, and Kye pressed a large orange button to his left. The battle machine shuddered a little, then its arms rose up from their sides and the legs moved into the same stance that Kye was in. That was his favorite part of the battle machine, due to the limited size of the cockpit, he wasn’t able to have movement detectors for the battle machine’s arms, but the feet of the battle machine had movement detectors and would act like his did. Kye moved the battle machine’s arms, testing to make sure they were working. The battle machine moved exactly the same way they did when they had the standard Magnetized Oroniate power source. He moved around a bit, and he looked up as the Blade Titan emerged from its gate on the other side of the arena. The pilot, Shyke (pronounced SHIKE), the best trained pilot in the city and well known for his piloting skills, glared at Kye from inside the cockpit. Kye thought to himself, “He’s still sore about last month when I defeated him with the Golden Guardian.” Kye’s father and his assistant rushed back through the gate. His father’s voice yelled over the speakers, “Three, Two, One, FIGHT!” Kye moved in a split second, using the battle machine’s short-range flight, he jumped up into the air, firing several shots from his cannon, just barely missing the Blade Titan’s left arm. Shyke dove to the left, wasting no time in unloading his heavy ammo on Kye, firing his four shoulder-mounted missile pods at Kye. The first two hit the Golden Guardian’s shield, but the next two slipped by and hit the cockpit, knocking Kye off his feet and causing the Golden Guardian to crash to the ground. Kye shook his head back and forth, dazed. Shyke had wasted no time, and was already half way across the arena, preparing to finish the Golden Guardian off. Kye stood back up again, swinging his shield in front of him for protection as the Blade Titan slammed into him. Kye pulled the shield back against his wrist, and swung it wrist-mounted-dagger-style at the blade titan, slicing off one of the shoulder armor pieces. Shyke jumped back, avoiding another attack from the Golden Guardian’s shield. Suddenly the Golden Guardian fell flat on its face into the sand, and Kye looked over at the power level reading. The bar had suddenly dropped to zero. He flipped on the emergency energy, powered by a small source of Magnetized Oroniate. He spoke into the microphone and said, “Dad, I think the power just conked out.” His father rushed over to the downed battle machine, and with the help of the Blade Titan they managed to roll it over. Kye pushed open the cockpit’s door, and jumped out onto the ground. He walked over to his father, who was examining the solar panel on the shield. He said, “The solar panel shattered and then fried the battery when you used the shield as a blade, it couldn’t handle that much stress. We’ll have to either find another place to put the solar panel, or just have to make sure it isn’t used as a blade again.” Suddenly a voice was heard over the speakers, “The Golden City is under attack! Chronoids are attacking the western gate!” Kye’s eyes widened and he said, “Western Gate, that’s only a little ways from here!” Suddenly he looked up, two massive battle machines coated with thick black and dark yellow paint flew over the top of the wall to his right, aiming their cannons at Kye and his father…
