At the suggestion of Master Inika, I’ve edited another map of the Matoran Universe, this time to depict the known territories of the various canon Makuta. The original suggestion was to do a colour-coded map, but that ended up looking very cluttered, so I decided to go for a simpler style. According to Greg Farshtey, there were once 100 Makuta, and only a handful of them are covered by canon. Even so, based on the amount of territory controlled by the Makuta we do know of, it seems like a lot of the unknown Makuta probably didn’t have regions, or controlled islands so minor they weren’t even worth putting on the map. Starting from the top, our main man Teridax was the assigned Makuta of Metru Nui, while the Brotherhood’s alleged best fighter, Icarax, took over Karzahni. Krika was originally assigned to the north part of the northern continent, and later expanded his territory to include Zakaz after Spiriah’s fall from grace. Sharing the Northern Continent was Gorast, who is specified to have ruled the lower region known as the Tren Krom peninsula. Based on this division, it seems like at least one more Makuta must have had a claim to part of the Northern Continent. Tridax ruled Nynrah, biker bro Antroz ruled Xia, and Vamprah was responsible for Odina (I guess he sucked at his job, since he clearly never did anything about the Dark Hunters). I feel like Greg only vaguely glanced at the map when he decided on Chirox’s territory, since his region includes two completely disconnected islands that are nowhere near each other (one in the hand, one in the leg). He controls Keetongu’s and Tobduk’s homelands (the latter being better known by its current name, Visorak). (I realised after posting that I'd also made a mistake here myself, drawing a line to the wrong island). Chirox-but-with-a-better-colourscheme Mutran controlled the “central part of the Southern Continent”, which is probably intended to refer to Voya Nui. Prior to being deposed, Miserix was the Makuta of Destral. As far as we know, no other Makuta formally claimed that title after Miserix was imprisoned. Bitil is said to have controlled the west chain of the southern islands. However, the map claims that no one has explored further than Artidax, so Bitil’s territory likely ends there. It’s worth noting here that while Spiriah was formerly the Makuta of Zakaz, some pages on BS01 say that he also controlled Artidax. However, there seems to be no citation for this, and since he’s in exile I’ve left him off the map entirely. Finally, a couple of Makuta we don’t have canon appearances for: Kojol was the Makuta of Artakha, prior to raiding the place and getting assassinated by the Order Of Mata Nui, while the Makuta of Stelt is exactly what it says on the tin. This leaves a number of locations unclaimed. Given the way most territories have been divided up, there would have been at least one more Makuta for the Northern continent, and potentially two or three more dividing up the Southern. The large island above Keetongu’s homeland may have had a Makuta (unless it was also included in Chirox’s territory). The small island between Nynrah and Odina could also have had a Makuta (unless it fell into Tridax or Vamprah’s territories). The two islands up near Stelt and Xia (Nocturn’s homeland?) would have likely had at least one Makuta assigned to them, possibly two. I’m less sure about the other side of the map, since we have no information to confirm if the Makuta had any major presence at all in that entire arm. There are also a whole bunch of other islands out there that don’t appear on the map but are mentioned in-story, some of which would have likely had Makuta overseers as well. Let me know if there's anything I've missed, or if you have any suggestions. I'd also love to hear if anyone's assigned territories to their own fanon Makuta.

Hello everyone! Today I would like to present you my little project, M.N.C.S. (Metru Nui Chutes System). Each of us has heard about the chutes of the City of Legends. And I've always imagined how looks the real map of this fantastic "subway". Where are some lines and how to come, for example, from the school of Ga-Metru to your friend, if he works in the Great Archives in Onu-Metru? A small atmospheric picture. And now... This is a map of chutes. It looks like another subway maps. And I think, that the official picture can't present us the fullest scale of the legendary tubes. But now it is possible to travel the route in your imagination throught the City of Legends. It was made in Visio Pro and Photoshop. The bigger version. And there are a posters that can be hanging in Chutes Stations of MNCS. The first one. And the second one. The first one: Ga-Metru, Po-Metru and Onu-Metru. And the second one: Le-Metru, Ta-Metru and Ko-Metru. That's all. And I'm so sorry for my English, because I'm from Russia( Enjoy!

So, for the past few years I've been working on a 3 year-story arc called the Mehri Nui Saga, situated in the Spherus Magna Reborn Universe. In the past few months I've made some artwork to go with it, which I'd like to show here. Spherus Magna Reborn Universe (Full size) A first look at the start of the story, with a little description of how things got how they are now. The Island of Mehri Nui ( Full size) To start, this is the map of Mehri Nui, which is an island located on Spherus Magna. It's quite big, a lot larger than Mata Nui ever was. Ta-Wahi : Situated at the South-West of the island, this Wahi is home to the vast Kele Uahi or “Smoking Swamp”. Tormented by years of seismic activity, the swamp is a hotbed for volcanic activity, releasing the tension coming from the now dormant sunken volcano of Ga-Wahi. The whole area is covered with small natural vents, geysers, and other pipes; constantly releasing sulphuric gases into the air. The underground is muddy and sticky, resembling a tar-like substance. Bo-Wahi: The largest Wahi of all, Bo-Wahi stretches over several thousands of kio across the Southern part of the island. The biggest part is covered by the immense jungle at the foot of the Veto Mountain. Big areas of this vast jungle still hold secrets to the Matoran, and only few have ever dared to travel through this green ######. Onu-Wahi: Onu-Wahi is technically the largest Wahi of all, as it stretches across the whole island, consisting of thousands of kios of tunnels, caverns, mines and more. The surface of the true Onu-Wahi, located in the North of the island, is mostly a barren wasteland with very little plant- or wildlife. The reason behind this apparent lack of life is the booming life under the surface. The plants get their minerals directly from the source, and live underground. Po-Wahi: Located at the centre of the island, Po-Wahi is home to one of the biggest deserts known to the Matoran. The desert of this Wahi divides the island between the colder North and the warmer South. This area is treacherous and only the Sa-Matoran truly know their way in this ever changing world of sand. Ko-Wahi: Ko-Wahi, or the world of cold, is located at the North of the island. Few is known about this area, but it is home to Titiro Mountains the location of The Council. This mighty palace is the home of the Turaga, giving them a birds-eye view over the whole island. Ga-Wahi: Of all Wahi, Ga-Wahi is the smallest. It is said that somewhere in the past seismic activity caused the island to break apart, resulting in the now sunken and dormant volcano in Ga-Wahi. This Wahi is situated at the Western coasts of the island, with Ga-Koro at its centre. Highlands: A piece of grassland that is stretched out from the entrance of the Southern Tunnels to the pathway to the Council, all the way to the Forbidden Forest. It’s the last patch of green to be crossed before entering the Po-Wahi Desert. Forbidden Forest: An forest near the edge of Ko-Wahi. A never-ending mist lingers over the pine-trees, tangled in mysteries. Many Matoran consider it to be cursed, and as only a few have ever returned from this crooked woodland, the Turaga decided to forbid anyone from entering them. The few Matoran who safely got out of the forest are now empty shells of what they used to be, incapable of expressing themselves in more than just a few grunts and sighs. Principles of the Matoran The principle of the Onu-Matoran, Endurance stands for the ability to exert itself and remain active for a long period of time. Embedded deep in the heart of the mining community of Onu-Metru, this principle praises the massive strength and endurance of the centuries old Elder Roots. These ancient roots have stood the test of time and supported the ever-changing city of the miners for thousands of years. Endurance leads to the skill of Stamina, allowing one to function with the same level of energy for longer periods of time. The principle of the Bo-Matoran, Acceptance stands for the will to accept the world and others as they are, not forcing them to become any different than their nature intended to be. This form of respect for the core of each being stems from the idea that nature knows best, and the Matoran shouldn’t try to impose change upon it. Acceptance leads to the skill of Confidence, creating a deeper trust in in one’s abilities. This trust enables beings who master the skill of Confidence to push their abilities to the limits. This skill allows the Bo-Matoran to enter a state of mind where they are able to make further leaps, climb higher trees and run faster. The principle of the Ga-Matoran, Responsibility stands for the will to accept the consequences of one’s actions. The principle is linked to an old wisdom that said that one drop of water makes the sea rise, and the Ga-Matoran recognize that their lives and actions have an influence on those of all the Matoran. The principle of Responsibility demands the Ga-Matoran to live life in such a way that one’s actions do not have negative consequences on the lives of others. Responsibility leads to the skill of Strategy, allowing one to have a better view of what their actions might accomplish. This skill brings the Ga-Matoran in a state of mind where they can quickly plan out their actions in order to get the best out of each situation. The principle of the Av-Matoran, Purity stands for a life devoting to the avoidance of distraction and corruption. The principle stems from the purity of Light itself, an element untouched by any force of nature. Purity leads to the skill of Focus, allowing one to more accurately view the situation, without the many distractions of the environment. Focus allows the Av-Matoran to reach a state of mind where they are all their senses are blocked out, and all their attention is focussed on the problem they’re facing. I hope you liked it ( and the images aren't too big), and see you next time !

Hello, everyone! I haven't been active on BZP for quite some time now, but I felt that it might be worthwhile to share my project with you folks (especially seeing as I've already posted it on other sites). So, without further adieu, I give you my... Okoto Minecraft Map My goal in creating this world was to make a virtual representation of Okoto that features everything that we've actually seen in the story, as well as give players the chance to traverse the island on their own accord. It's kind of like an experiment in that it shows us exactly how much we've truly learned about the island. Here's what you can expect to find... The City of the Mask Makers: More And yes, most of the undead are present! Unfortunately, I was unable to make Scorpio happen. There's just nothing in game that looks remotely like him. The skull warriors spawn in waves(as long as there is someone within 50 meters of the gate). Skull Slicer can be summoned in the arena! He boasts more health than a normal skeleton and will occasionally use a grabber whirlwind attack to try and pull you in. He usually drops his grabber claw upon death. Kulta is found in the forge. By default he has 100 health and will occasionally use his Mask Steal attack(which breaks nearby players' headgear. This includes masks!) He also gains significant speed, strength, and regen buffs after donning the mask of creation, not to mention the inherent protection bonus. Whoops! Forgot to mention that Kulta drops The Mask Stealer Staff which, after being held for a sufficient period of time, charges up the same attack that Kulta can use on you. You'll begin to see red particles around you when it's ready, then all you have to do is sneak! If you beat him after he puts on the MoC, he will drop that as well. Given how poorly documented its powers are, I just gave it a protection 10 enchantment. It's nothing fancy, but it's better than a diamond helmet at the very least. Skull Basher is around too. I'll let him find you. Mask Shrines and Powers More All of the island's mask shrines are present. It would also seem that the Toa have left behind their basic masks... Perhaps these will be of use to you? Bear in mind that I took these screenshots before I implemented the masks, so they aren't on the pedestals. Don't worry, they will be there in game. For the record, I'm not really sure why the images are all different sizes Here are the abilities granted by the masks: -Holding Sneak with the mask of stone donned will activate the sandstorm tornado ability and lift you into the air! -Sprinting with the mask of air for extended periods of time will build up a speed and jump boost, eventually allowing you to clear huge tracts of land in a single bound! -Holding sneak for a(particularly long) period of time with the mask of ice equipped will charge up and project an elemental ice shield around the wearer. -Holding sneak for a short period of time with the mask of water donned will activate the tidal dash ability, giving the wearer speed, strength, and regeneration for 10 seconds. Additionally, the mask of water greatly improves swim speed. -Once a player has worn the mask of earth for a certain length of time, they will begin to emit purple particles. This indicates that, upon sneaking, they will create a tremor in the ground around them and pull nearby entities under. -The mask of fire functions in a similar fashion to the mask of earth; after an extended period of time with the mask on, the player will begin to emit flame particles. This means that, upon sneaking, they will release a burst of flame in multiple directions and create a blazing inferno around them.(Be advised; this one is somewhat buggy and may cause lag issues if used too often.) I did film myself demonstrating each mask, but for whatever reason the files got corrupted. I'll give it another go at some point, but for now I'll just leave you with footage of the mask of stone: Additional notable locations: More There are a few other places worth traveling to... Download: If you're interested in seeing the map firsthand, you can download it... here Make sure that you play it in the 1.9 snapshots, otherwise it will not work! Lastly, here's an overview of the map(as seen in worldpainter). Disregard the lack of snow in that render; it didn't account for biomes. Thanks for stopping by! Edit: Spoiler tags converted to "more" tags; please use spoiler tags for storyline spoilers only! -Wind-

Hey everyone, Me and 3 other guys from BMP are working on a game, called right now "Lego Islands", the name will be changed later so there are no copyright issues. But to get to the point, we need some maps done up for the island, but we are all awful at drawing. So what I would like you guys to do is draw me some maps! Just use the image feature to imbed your image in you post. We need maps done up for the following islands: And older native island with beaches and bamboo hutsA modern island with cars and helicoptersA spawn point island, we don't really have an ideas about it yetA sci-fi future islandA Bionicle islandA Chima themed islandAnd we need 4 other island, we don't have an theme ideasIf we use your map, you will be credited for making it, in the credits . Also we may need some more maps draw later, of the whole world, so look out for some more work if you want to. ldd2000

Did the Great Beings put it on there in case Mata Nui showed up? Did some ancient Skrall map the place? And why did the Skrall stick with the design? It's a rather eccentric design for a sheild, and probably costly to make. What significance would it have for them?

According to the Riddle of the Great Beings, Tarduk found this map in the middle of the desert with the Red Star at the top in the North next to the Black Spike mountains? What does this map mean? Is the Red Star a symbol for the Great Beings in this instance, seeing that there is GB machinery and inventions up there? Is it just an "X marks the spot" symbol that Tarduk mistook as the Red Star? Or is there a connection between the area and the Red Star? I seem to recall the whole thing as a symbolic thing, like a riddle - so what was that a symbol for, why that symbol, and why would the Great Beings give such a thing to the Spherus Magnans? Any thoughts?
