  1. After working on "The Arrival" short, I immediately had many ideas on what to do next. Truly I would love to make a 30-40 min movie of the Toa Inika, but so far I have not yet reached a conclusion on how I will approach attempting that. Instead I decided to create another short in the meantime. The idea for this new animation came about because of my love for the ice toa. Matoro is one of my favorites, if not most favorite ice toa from the original generation. I wanted to create a piece that would highlight what the mood and mystery of the underwater location of Mahri Nui, and incorporate Matoro in it. And since he had a major role to play during this saga, it was a perfect fit. I hope you enjoy my latest video! --- Turnaround Renders Here are some renders of the full character, including his weapons. With these you can now see details on the character that I couldn't fully show off in the animation. Also, If you haven't yet seen the first animation I did with the Miramax style, please see the following link to check it out. Along with turnaround, Toa Jaller Inika, and Toa Hahli Inika renders/screenshots! -Enjoy! --Tohkann T.O.A
  2. I’ve been working on revamping all 6 Toa Inika, the first on my list is Matoro. The Inika are very near and dear to my heart, this was very much a passion project for me. I’ve finished the other five, but I’m spacing out the uploads as to not spam everything all at once with many photos. A few more photos are in this Flickr Album for anyone curious. Though the majority are in this post, and in my opinion, are the best picks! I took a photo of his weapon and baseplate separately as well. I know I may have a few people raging that I’m pairing Nuva symbols with an Inika MOV but hear me out on this one: it was too good of an idea to ignore, and I don’t have any intentions of ever revamping the Toa Nuva!
  3. Hi everyone! This is my first post in a very long time and my first topic in an even longer time. I’ve been getting back into BIONICLE in a big way lately and I’ve just re-read downfall, one of my favourite BIONICLE books. Inspired me to make this: This took me about an hour and a half in total, done on my iPad on a bus journey. What do you think? (Clean version without the text can be found here: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/turagapohatunuva/topicimages/0ba5356b-94ba-4403-b8e4-35ba6e94fab5.jpeg)
  4. I finally got around to reading Downfall, the last of the Bionicle chapter books that I hadn’t read yet. While I was prepared to be moved by the final scenes in which Matoro sacrifices himself, I wasn’t expecting another scene earlier in the book to inspire me to write this. I normally don’t read or write this type of fanfiction, but the idea got stuck in my head and refused to leave. Apologies ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Barely able to keep walking any longer, Jaller finally allowed himself to give in to exhaustion as he stumbled into the makeshift infirmary. After so long behind “enemy lines”, as it were--- first as occupants of the universe ruled by Makuta Teridax and then as mind-slaves of a group of cultish Skakdi--- he and the other four Toa Mahri finally had arrived at a place of relative peace and safety. Jaller still wasn’t sure how he had been freed from the slavish devotion to the Skakdi and their leader, a strange, golden-skinned being calling itself Irnakk^ with a muscular frame and immense proportions. He seemed to recall a bright red radiance, so dazzling and yet somehow evil-feeling that it hurt his eyes to stare directly at it. Then there were two of the Agori, the native Matoran-like beings of Spherus Magna, one with the coloration of the Ice Tribe and the other wearing strange orange-colored armor that Jaller hadn’t yet witnessed on any of the other inhabitants of this planet. And once they were gone… Jaller and his team’s free will returned. None of the other Mahri had been able to explain it, either. Maybe the Skakdi just lost concentration. Maybe the effect had worn off over time. Whatever the case, the Toa had decided to play it safe. Outnumbered and without their powerful Cordak Blasters, they had agreed to pretend to still be under the Skakdi’s control until an opportunity to escape presented itself. That opportunity came a few days later, in the form of an attack by the Toa Hagah, aided by Tahu, Gali, and Onua. With Irnakk elsewhere for the moment, the Skakdi alone were no match for the combined powers of nine Toa… especially given the multitude of powers that Tahu alone possessed, thanks to his Golden Armor. The former residents of Zakaz had quickly surrendered the Mahri, rather than risk seeing their impressive fortress destroyed a second time. After that, it had been only an hour’s travel back to the camp that the Toa Nuva had established near the fallen Great Spirit Robot, thanks to the power of Toa Iruini’s Kanohi Kualsi. Now Jaller and his team were being set upon by Toa of Water, Toa of the Green, and a number of other beings possessing healing powers. Iruini, too, was being shepherded onto a bed, thoroughly exhausted from repeated use of his mask’s power. Jaller, his thoughts deep in shame, barely noticed as his various wounds were healed one at a time. The mission had been a disaster. They had had to be rescued by other Toa--- more experienced Toa, more powerful Toa. Their first mission had ended with the death of a teammate, the second with an embarrassing failure that required others to step in. Without our destiny, he thought, what are the Toa Mahri? A bunch of novices with the somewhat-useful ability to breath underwater. No track record of battles won, no unity. We saved the universe… but that was all Matoro. His destiny. His selfless act that carried the day. Jaller closed his eyes and allowed sleep to fall over him. If Matoro were still here… he mused as the darkness overtook him. If only he were still here… we might still be something. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You know, Matoro, you don’t have to keep secrets anymore. What? Back when you were a Matoran, working for Turaga Nuju, you heard all sorts of things the Turaga didn’t want us to know. Sometimes it seems like they don’t want us to know anything. You were sworn to keep what you heard to yourself. For years, you knew all about Metru Nui and what happened there and you kept it secret. I had no choice. I did what the Turaga felt was best. I know that. But doing that made you alone among the rest of us. Now the Mask of Life is doing the same thing and it can’t be helped. Still, you have to remember you are part of a team now -- you don’t have to keep everything inside anymore. What do you mean, “the Mask of life is doing the same thing”? Do you remember, back on Voya Nui, when Kongu insisted you be the one to take the mask away from Vezon? He didn’t explain why at the time. But he told me later that he had read the Ignika’s “mind” and it wanted you to be the one to carry it. You’re the only one who can touch the Mask of Life without being cursed by it. Kongu wasn’t sure whether to tell you or not. I told him I would. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was hours later, as Jaller explored the Toa camp--- his new home, for now--- that Hewkii approached him. “Hey,” said the Toa Mahri of Stone. “You have a minute?” “Something bothering you, too?” Jaller asked his deputy. “Yeah… you could say that. Something.” Jaller motioned to an unoccupied tent. “I think we both need to unload a little bit.” When both of the Toa were seated, Jaller motioned for Hewkii to speak first, but to his surprise, the Toa of Stone shook his head. “It’s nothing, really. Just a silly… uh, wish. You start. You seem really upset.” Nodding his thanks, Jaller began to explain. “It feels like… we’re lost. We can’t work together as a team, we can’t do anything, since… since Mahri Nui.” Since Matoro died, he didn’t say. He didn’t want his teammate to know that he was still fixated on that--- the Mahri had already discussed the issue several times, and each time it ended with them all assuring Jaller that he shouldn’t blame himself. I know that! he wanted to shout. But that doesn’t change the fact that I feel incomplete as the leader of a Toa team that’s one member short! Hewkii seemed to think about this for a moment. “You mean, like our last mission?” “Exactly! We couldn’t stop the Skakdi from creating the fusion, we couldn’t even try to attack it, and in the end, we pulled nine Toa away from valuable work just so that they could save us from a bunch of half-witted thugs! They still have their fortress, and that Irnakk thing is still out there! We accomplished nothing!” To Jaller’s surprise, his friend smiled. “You think that was a failure? We gathered weeks’ worth of information on those cretins and their leader! It’s one of the biggest threats to the Matoran and Agori that’s out there right now, and the other Toa only know it exists thanks to us!” Seeing that his leader was still unconvinced, Hewkii added, “Thanks to your leadership, Jaller.” “Yeah, right,” Jaller grunted. “If you can call ‘getting your team to the right place at the right time to be brainwashed’ a form of ‘leadership’. Tahu or Norik probably would have found a way to beat the entire army and Irnakk without having to call on any other teams for assistance.” Hewkii frowned. “Are you just determined to be pessimistic?” “No, no, really, I’m not, it’s just…” “Just what?” “It feels like there’s something missing!” Jaller snapped. “And you know what I mean by that! You know exactly what I mean!” Hewkii sighed. “You mean there’s someone missing.” When Jaller didn’t reply, he continued. “Are you ever going to get over this? It wasn’t your fault.” “I know that! Of course I know that! But it was his destiny to save Mata Nui’s life. What if… without him… we just don’t have a purpose?” “It was his destiny to save the Great Spirit. And it was ours to help him get there.” Hewkii paused, then added, “Jaller. Matoro’s last act was to save us. He wanted us to keep going, even without him. You know that.” “I… yeah. You’re right.” Jaller smiled. “I think I just needed someone to remind me. Thanks, Hewkii.” “Of course.” Hewkii looked around absentmindedly. “So, uh, can I talk about my… ?” Jaller nodded vigorously for his friend to go ahead. “I was talking to some of the Agori. Have you… uh… learned about their way their society works?” Jaller chuckled. “You mean that thing they do where two beings pair up as lifetime companions? Yeah, it’s strange.” Hewkii looked uncomfortable. “Right. Well. I was talking with Trinuma… the Order’s been working with some of the Agori scholars to establish a comparison of knowledge between our world and theirs. They found some kind of ‘operating manual’ for the Mata Nui robot in Metru Nui’s ruins, written in an Agori script, and some of the scholars were able to decipher it…” Jaller thought about this. “What’s the problem? Did it reveal something about the Matoran, or the Toa, that was… unflattering?” His friend stared at the floor. “Sort of. There’s this one particular term it keeps coming back to… ‘canon’. It means stuff that’s part of how the Matoran and the rest of us are supposed to work. Anything that’s permitted.” He paused for a moment. “It looks like some of the files were edited after the robot launched, but… they describe our full range of emotions. Everything we’re supposed to be able to feel.” Jaller didn’t seem to be getting it. Hewkii added, “That drive to be with another being, Jaller. It’s not in there. We shouldn’t be able to feel that. It’s not canon.” Jaller stared at him. “Well, of course not. Our society doesn’t work like that. We don’t need it.” Hewkii threw his head back. “But I can feel it! Every day, I think of Macku, and how our worlds are different now, because I’m a Toa and she’s a Matoran! I want to spend time with her and form a closer bond with her than I have with any of my Toa-brothers or Toa-sister! And I know she feels the same way about me! Who cares what’s ‘canon’, anyway?” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We haven’t always been the best of friends. I guess it’s tradition -- fire and ice rarely get along. But I wanted you to know… I think the Ignika made the right choice. You do? Why? Because anything you are asked to do -- even if it’s hard, or painful, or you hate having to do it -- you get done. Look, Matoro, back on Voya Nui you once questioned your worth to the team because you aren’t a warrior. But being a Toa isn’t about who’s strongest or toughest or has the best mask power. It’s about spirit. And by that measure, you are a great Toa. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Do you know what I mean, Jaller?” Hewkii’s voice brought the Toa of Fire back to the present. He blinked. “I’m sorry, what did you say?” “This--- this feeling. Do you know what I’m talking about?” Slowly, Jaller smiled. “Yeah. I think I do.” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ^ A reference to Wiriamu’s fantastic epic, Battle for Spherus Magna.
  5. I haven't been on here for a very long time... but I just drew this today on my Wacom pad, and it's not my best drawing, but hey it only took about 2 hours. I don't even care to fix his legs that I drew a little too long... but oh well. lol I was also listening to this Undertale soundtrack while drawing, it's from a surprisingly good rpg. "Hopes and Dreams" and "His Theme" made me think of Matoro, and his story. Anyway.I've been going through a lot the past several months, and it's been pretty hard, but haven't drawn anything in a long time. So it's good to feel nostalgic, and reminds me of a much... simpler time. Well, I guess enjoy this little bit of artwork everyone. http://doubleshadowx01.deviantart.com/art/Matoro-Mahri-584086967
  6. So I have a brand new, unboxed and unopened Toa Matoro Mahri, I found this in a box of christmas presents I had in my basement and how it got there I don't know as I am a huge Bionicle fan. The plastic box itself isn't damaged and seems to be mint, the cardboard on the back is also in great condition it still has the sellotape on it and doesn't seem to have ever been opened. But I am very curious as to how much this could actually be worth, I can't seem to find it on Ebay(I know I should probably try and check more places but I'm lazy). So I would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me how much this would be worth. Thanks. P.s Sorry if this is in the wrong Forum section I didn't know were elso to put it.
  7. So, I was just casually drooling over a concert by one of my favorite bands, when something caught my eye: a stop-motion animation of Matoro Inika used in the visual aid. I thought it might be worth sharing. Matoro is at 5:06 in the top middle of the screen. https://youtu.be/E-5ZgJV6M5M?t=5m For some reason it feels like my life is complete now.
  8. Long ago on the mythical island of Okoto, the villagers were guarded by a mysterious being, older than time itself. He was known as the Protector of Life, as no inhabitant of the island knew his real name. The watchful sentinel resided in the mountainous terrain of the region of ice, his cavern like home filled with strange artifacts like none other found on Okoto. He has not been heard from since long before Ekimu was put to sleep, the mantle of 'Protector' becoming a tradition for the villagers to honor him. --- Gallery when public. -- Hey there! This is a moc I just recently created using a G2 Kopaka and various other parts from my collection. It's also sort of a self moc. The idea behind this creation, as you may have guessed from the lore-blurb at the top, is that Matoro from some version of the G1 universe ended up traveling through the different dimensions before ending up on Okoto. So join me as I take you through some of my design processes and ideas. Front View The torso is essentially a G2 Kopaka torso [Mostly cause i'm super bad at custom torsos and limbs.] with different armoring, and the main inspiration for the armor silhouette was a very knightly, almost MMO Paladin style armor with the very large, drooping shoulder pads. I decided to use the Matoro Inika mask and head because of two reasons, one - I'm actually a pretty big fan of how the Matoro Inika mask looks, and two, I couldn't figure out a reliable way to get a metru / mata head onto a CCBS torso without using rubberbands. Side View Not much to say about the side view, other than that I chose to use the old Y joint style hands because to me, they scream 'BIONICLE' when I see them. Back View The back view shows off that Kopaka's gear function is still active and functional, and also shows more of the bulky, tank type armoring. I decided to use the Inika Matoro feet mostly because I personally liked how they covered the back. Sword Pose So for the sword I wanted to make a weapon that wasn't silver, although I originally did toy with using Matoro Inika's blade. I eventually settled on this double edged sword using Pridak's feet, which I think have always looked good as a sword. Winter is coming. The MOC's arms and sword were specifically designed to be able to pull this pose off, and I'm glad it worked. Cave of Relics. Setting up a cave display for him was fun, and it is in no way done, but placing a bunch of stuff that he might have found around different dimensions was fun, almost a trophy hall sort of deal. -- Thanks for looking at my MOC! Feel free to comment if you want.
  9. Yo, this is my Entry to the BBC #69 - "Everything Old is New Again!" I was kinda anxious about this thing at first, since when I started building about a week before now, none of the new sets where available where I live, but today they finally showed up on shelves and I got whatever I could, and finished off my entry to this contest. I think that the big aesthetic difference between a Hero Factory model, and the new Bionicle models, is the new armour add-on. I didn't use those sparingly on this thing, but I think the way they are used on this MOC work really well, and don't seem too "overused". Aside from that one new consistent piece from this wave, another thing that brings the new style of Bionicle on top of other CCBS-built themes, is that the characters are a lot more expressive, and to be blunt, a lot more fun and interesting. I watched two kids get so excited about Tahu in stores when I was buying my 2015 sets. They were completely blown away with how "awesome" he looked surfing on lava, on a board that split into huge swords. The new sets have a much higher play value too, especially with the new, or improved gear mechanism that a lot of new fans would not have seen before on a buildable action figure. (and it works so much better than it ever did on a Gen 1 Bionicle set ) Matoro was my favourite character from Gen 1, so it only seemed right to me to recreate him in the modern style for this competition. I made sure that this MOC retained the same shape and stance as the original. The frame of the torso was built on one of the new gearboxes, with an articulated waist connecting to an old Bionicle hip piece, and on top of that are white shells. The limbs are CCBS bones and so the appearance of the modern style came naturally to those. I also updated his weapons and shoulder pads using newer pieces too, including my custom Cordak Blaster using the new 6-stud shooter. I tried to keep the MOC as true as possible to the original depiction, in terms of shape, stance, colours and colour distribution. I know that was boring so here's what you came here for, the MOC! Link to full gallery on Imgur: http://imgur.com/a/isVHV First up, and probably the most important picture on this post is this side-by-side comparison of the original depiction of Toa Mahri Matoro, and mine. Here you can see how I managed to maintain the look and feel of Matoro, while updating every aspect, and detail of him. Here's the back of him, he's using the new gear box which is attached to his arm. (and why wouldn't it be? ) His Cordak Blaster and Twin Cutter. The skeleton/frame I think the biggest difference between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 styles, is that CCBS has solid frame that you build up, and then add the modular armour pieces on top of, shaping the character as you build, and that the older sets don't seem to have much of a defined system at all. Size comparison with Tahu and Protector of Fire. Thank you for checking this out, comments and criticism is welcome, and an upvote is always appreciated.
  10. MATORO, GUARDIAN of LIFE! Check out the rest of the photos HERE! This is the first Bionicle MOC I've made that I'm really proud of! I chose Matoro because he's honestly my favorite character of all time from Bionicle and if anyone deserved a tribute MOC, it's him. While designing him, I had two goals in mind: make him look as gen 2 as possible, and make him look as much as Matoro as possible. Despite me only using four (head, eyestalk, armor piece, mask) gen 2 parts, I feel that I managed to capture him in a look that looks very gen 2, but still looks like him. The torso gives the same bulky look that the new sets give, providing a sort of chest armor piece on top of a regular torso. It captures the same lanky look as his Inika form, but still uses the same general appearance as the new 2015 sets. Something I saw with many entries to the contest so far, is that they took it in such a way that you can only use CCBS, but I attempted to match the look while using older parts and more complex techniques to get a better build. As to making it look like Matoro, I chose to add brown cape pieces to his shoulders because Matoro was shown always mountain climbing in Mata-Nui, so it would symbolize some slight protection of the cold. He also always used red flags in MNOG to find his way back to Ko-Koro, so I also added one to the top of his back. I also ran into the problem of which mask to use. I went with the new Mask of Ice since it's like the Akaku that his matoran form used, except it looks less stern which fits his character even more in my eyes. I went along with the trans limbs that his Inika form had, since spirit symbolism was always used with him, and this was a partial call-back to that. I tried to make his forelegs look similar to his original Inika model as well. I used the same sword that he used in Bionicle: Hero's and gave him a single shot zamor launcher that I designed myself (check my photostream to see it!). Excuse the mis-colored pieces. I built this using only the pieces I had, so there are more grey's and such that I would have gone without if I could order more parts. I also made it so that the sword can attach to his back for storage use! Hey... kinda like the new gen 2 sets! Oh, and I originally planned on calling him the "Master of Life", on the recent trend that many have been on but I realized Matoro was a noble guardian of it, and never needed to be a master of any sort of power to be a hero. The true power was always in his heart, so I instead called him the "Guardian of Life". I hope you like him! Please leave comments and criticism if you like, I always appreciate it and would love to hear what you have to say!
  11. Invasion Towers of white crystal once dominated the landscape of Ko-Metru, back in the early days of the Toa Metru and for tens of thousands of millennia before then. Within the last day, a miracle had graced the City of Legends. Yes, there was the miracle of the life of the Great Spirit being restored, but there had been another smaller miracle that had been overshadowed by the great sacrifice of his translator. The Knowledge Towers, as with the rest of the city, had been restored to its former glory. It was into one of the Towers of Thought that Jaa led Turaga Nuju, former elder of Ko-Koro, into. Jaa had long ago been a scholar in towers such as this. Now, he was relearning these skills that were lost to him by a hand of darkness. Nuju remembered back to his first glorious adventure through Metru Nui, seeking out the lost Matoran Ehrye. Jaa had helped him then, whether he remembered it or not, just as he did now. Ascending the Tower of Thought took little time as they were eerily empty, even for such a presitigious tower as this one. Nuju knew why. Mata Nui, have mercy on his soul. Arriving at the top, he half-expected to see him waiting there, looking up into the stars. That was ridiculous of course. He was dead now. Nuju would never see him again. Jaa led Nuju to look out over the City of Legends. The streets were filled with celebrations, but Nuju knew that they were actually empty. Jaa pointed up into the sky. He had explained to Nuju before entering that there was a story dancing in the stars. It was as if the dead had written a journal, waiting to be seen by those down below. Looking at the region to which Jaa motioned, Nuju saw the Red Star glowing brightly as ever. The stars that surrounded it had a newfound glow, no longer dying. And in those stars, Nuju read the story of Matoro, glowing brighter than them all. The universe is a riddle. Nuju smiled. Sometimes the riddle can be solved just by looking around you. --- Matoro, Toa Inika of Ice, felt his head be smashed against the rock walls of a winding stone Cord. The hand belonged to Vezon, the insane Piraka that wasn’t a Piraka, former guardian of the Kanohi Ignika, the Mask of Life. With his head ringing, Matoro struggled to fire a blast of ice and lightning from his energized ice sword. The blast missed Vezon completely and struck the opposite wall. Jaller and Kongu unleashed blasts of fire and air respectively which struck Vezon square in the chest. Matoro collapsed to the ground, clutching his head. Shaking it gently, he stood up and joined the other Toa Inika around Vezon. Jaller, Toa of Fire, reached down and ripped the Spear of Fusion from Vezon’s hands. The former guardian of the Mask of Life had followed the Toa Inika down the Cord from Voya Nui, the entrance that Axonn had opened up for them. After losing the Kanohi Ignika to the seas that surronded Voya Nui and Hahli being rescued by a strange Matoran who talked of a city beneath the sea, it became clear as to where the Toa were meant to go next. Matoro was wondering what this meant. Destiny had an odd way of presenting itself. If the mask was meant to be used beneath the surface, why did it wait to travel there until after the Piraka and Toa Inika had rushed down beneath the surface of Voya Nui to retrieve it. Matoro smiled, remembering Nuju’s views on the universe. “It hints at the path you are meant to walk,” the Turaga of Ko-Koro would say, “but never makes its message clear.” “Give that back!” Vezon barked at Jaller as his hands glowed with red hot energy. Jaller ignored the plea and the Spear of Fusion burst into flames. From behind Vezon, the Toa Inika could hear a swarm of footsteps. The Zyglak were returning. The Zyglak had proven to be a formiddable threat on the journey down the Cord so far, being immune to attacks made with the Toa’s elemental powers. They had escaped narrowly and continued onwards. The Toa Inika had also learned, through carvings, that the Zyglak were somehow connected to the Krana. Nuparu had been the one to spot the carving itself – out of a pool of liquid emerged a hideous creature resembling the Zyglak and a Krana. More carvings followed with what looked like Matoran and Bohrok, but the details had been worn away with time, making them completely unreadable. Vezon leapt to his feet and turned to the Zyglak, smiling as any Piraka would. “Take the Toa!” Vezon yelled giddily. “Kill the Toa, and I will lead you all to glory!” The Toa Inika raised their weapons, what little they would do. If Vezon was leading the Zyglak, then they needed every weapon they could find, even if it meant striking them with their weapons rather than channeling their elemental powers through them. To the Toa’s surprise, however, the Zyglak grabbed Vezon and hoisted him over their head. “No!” Vezon shouted. “Not me! I’m clearly not a Toa! No weapon, no special powers, no mask – well, anymore at least.” Jaller unleashed a wall of fire between the Toa Inika and the Zyglak and Piraka. It might not affect the Zyglak much, but anything helped. Matoro followed suit, creating a wall of ice, behind the wall of fire. Turning to his team, Jaller whispered one word: “Run.” “How do we continue on from here?” Kongu looked to the other Toa for answers. Toa Jaller, who had served as their light for the journey so far, was exhausted, after several hours of fending off the Zyglak. At the long last, the Zyglak had retreated, but now the Toa might be without a light. Hahli, Toa of Water, smiled. “Remember back when we first arrived on Voya Nui, hiding in the cave.” Hahli reached to her face and removed her Kanohi Elda, the Mask of Detection. A bright light shown in the Cord, blinding them. Hewkii grabbed her mask and shoved back onto her face. “We won’t be able to see like that.” Matoro let his arms down from his eyes. They burned and his headache roared. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw something slither by but disregarded it. He couldn’t think, nor see straight in this state. “I’ll lead from the front,” Hahli replied. The Toa exchanged glances. If Hahli led in the front, it would spare their eyes from pain. But if something were to attack her, she would be vulnerable, assuming whatever was attacking them couldn’t see either. “I think I should scout ahead, and let you guys know what the dangers are up ahead,” Matoro offered, referring to the Kanohi Iden, the Mask of Spirit. “No.” Jaller’s reply was short and to the point. “We can’t risk being short one of our own, should another Zyglak patrol attack.” “I’ll be fast. No more than a minute,” Matoro replied. With that, the Toa of Ice’s body went limp. At the same time, eerily enough, the entire room went dark as if Jaller’s fire had been doused with water. Suddenly, the room went light again as Hahli’s face glowed with the Elda removed. By that time, Matoro was sitting upright once more. “The way ahead is clear,” he said as he stood up. “Let’s go.” --- Matoro scouted ahead, seeing nothing to be immediately concerned about. There were a few small Rahi skittering across the stairs, but nothing that would be harmful to the other Toa Inika. Turning, Matoro raced back up the Cord to the other Toa Inika. If there were blood in his veins as a spirit, it would have been frozen, even for a Toa of Ice. Hahli was leading the Toa Inika down the Cord with the Elda in her hand and the other five Toa Inika falling in behind her. Including the Toa of Ice, Matoro. This couldn’t be real, but it was clear that one of his worst fears was. Perhaps this was a trick of the Kanohi Ignika? An alternate universe? Deep down, however, Matoro felt the connection to his body and knew that it had been invaded But by who? Matoro quickly looked around. He couldn’t contact Hahli. She didn’t have her Kanohi Elda on. And there was no one else that could see him. “Something’s wrong.” Matoro turned to Hewkii, who had whispered in Jaller’s ear. “How so?” the Toa of Fire asked. “The Toa of Ice.” “Matoro?” “I don’t think that’s Matoro.” Matoro smiled. There was hope yet. Looking over at the physical Matoro, Jaller saw that the Toa of Ice seemed to have an aura of darkness around him. Shifting towards, his fellow Toa, Jaller decided that he would what exactly he had seen during his journey down the Cord. However, before he could do so, a spear flew from behind him between their heads. More Zyglak had arrived from behind. There were more Zyglak than they had seen before. Kongu unleashed a tornado with lightning entwined. It struck the Zyglak, but did not hurt them much, the bolts of lightning knocking them backwards slightly. “Lightning,” Nuparu whispered. He turned to Jaller. “The Zyglak are immune to elemental powers, correct?” To answer Nuparu’s question, Jaller unleashed a stream of fire, which struck some nearby Zyglak but did not burn them. “The lightning we received from the Red Star is clearly not elemental,” Nuparu explained. “And if it’s not elemental, then it has an effect on the Zyglak.” “Lightning is lightning, right?” Kongu asked. Hewkii hurled rock with lightning. The rock struck the Zyglak. The lightning hurt it. “It doesn’t have to make sense right now, it just has to work.” Hahli unleashed a stream of water with the electricity and it washed over the Zyglak. Hewkii, Jaller, Kongu, and Nuparu sent elemental blasts near Hahli’s water and lightning blast, adding some of their lightning to hers. The Zyglak howled in pain as they slowly backed away. Matoro joined in, not even sending blasts of ice with lightning, but lightning alone. The electricity traveled from one Zyglak to another, creating a chain. When it was over, Zyglak bodies littered the ground. Not dead, but out for the count. Matoro stared at his body, as the other Toa Inika turned to face him. “How’d you do that?” Kongu laughed, thoroughly impressed with Matoro’s feat. “I hate getting my air in my electricity. Any chance you can help me separate it too?” “No, he can’t,” Hewkii replied, staring harshly at the Toa of Ice that stood before him. “He’s not Matoro.” The entire cavern went silent. When Matoro finally spoke, the voice of their nightmares spoke. “Very well.” It was the voice of Makuta. “Leave!” Jaller ordered. “Leave now, Makuta!” “And why should I? You have need of Matoro. He is very crucial to your quest for the Mask of Life.” “We will destroy Matoro if it means that we can destroy you as well,” Jaller replied. “You were dead once. You can be dead again.” Makuta laughed. Matoro shuddered. The Toa Inika stood steadfast, however, raising their weapons towards Makuta. Slowly, Makuta’s laugh died away. “You are serious, I see. So be it.” Makuta/Matoro waved his hand at the Toa Inika. They simply collapsed, as they fell into a deep slumber. Makuta/Matoro turned to face the spirit of Matoro. “It is time I returned your body, now isn’t it?” Makuta smiled as Matoro’s body collapsed. The spirit of the Toa of Ice wasted no time returning to it. Standing, Matoro faced the green sludge that had filled the zamor spheres of the Piraka on Voya Nui. He could still hear the voice of Makuta in his mind, however. “You must be more careful if you are to survive the Pit, Matoro.” “You don’t give up easily, Makuta. I have feared you for as long as I can remember, and you were never seen as simply surrendering at gun point.” The green sludge seemed to smile. “There was more at stake than simply your body and my life. I also came to warn you.” “Warn me?” Matoro chuckled. “I’ll heed no warning of yours.” “You had better. Have you ever heard of the Iden Stone?” Makuta asked. Matoro did not reply. “Of course you haven’t. It is a stone with the ability to increase your power by tenfold. One of my brothers informed me that a Zyglak got a hold of it. It mutates you with the power, as long as it is in proximity with your spirit. Those who live in the Pit were once like that, full of power. But there power has been ripped from them. Now they are hungry for the power they lost. Very hungry.” The green sludge seemed to just disappear – Matoro didn’t get a good look as to where it went, but he expected to see Makuta in the near future. Makuta had posed another riddle to him, dancing around the answer. Nuju would have known what to do. Sometimes, you have to figure the answer out for yourself. --- A hand fell upon his shoulder. Turning, Nuju saw Turaga Vakama. Jaa had left a while ago, as Nuju read into this journal in the stars. Nuju whistled and tweeted, excited, explaining to Vakama what he had seen. Vakama smiled sadly as he heard Nuju’s tale. Matoro had been a large part of the Turaga of Ice’s life and now that he was gone, there was a void. There would be much healing to come, but it seemed that Nuju accepted Matoro’s death and was now ready to celebrate his life with the rest of them. This entry probably stretched every single rule and might not be allowed in the end. But it was enjoyable to write. I wish I could manage my time better so I could have perfected it, but I’ll enter anyway. Let’s Keep Bionicle Alive, Lewa Krom
  12. As promised, I am starting to post some of my MOCs that I created a while ago. Along with Matoro, I also plan to post images of all the other common matoran, each with their own separate bodies (meaning that they will NEVER be disassembled or swapped out for another MOC). And with that, I introduce you to my second best MOC: Matoro, Matoran of Ice http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/401529 Comments and Criticism are appreciated
  13. First off, I'll say that unless I've said so, I'd like to buy everything from people inside the UK or Europe, to cut down on postage. I've also put the prices I want to start at next to the items. For starters, I want to get a complete collection of 01/02 Great Kanohi. I want: Haus: £1 1x White 1x Brown 1x Blue (Nearly got one) 1x Green (Nearly) 1x Infected 1x Metallic Gold (I have one of Kayru's reserved, but if you can give me a deal in Europe, then that's fine.) 1x Chrome Silver £9 (Nearly have one!) Akakus: £1 1x Black 1x Brown 1x Blue 1x Green 1x Metallic Silver Kakamas: £1 1x Red 1x White 1x Black 1x Green 1x Blue 1x Metallic Silver (Nearly got one!) 1x Teal 1x Burnt Orange (Nearly have one) Kaukaus: £1 1x Trans-Red 1x Transparent (White on white) 1x Trans-Black 1x Trans-Neon Orange 1x Trans-Green 1x Metallic Silver Pakaris: £1 1x White (Nearly!) 1x Green (Nearly got one) Mirus: £1 1x Red 1x White (Nearly) 1x Black 1x Brown 1x Blue 1x Teal If you have any of these, post here or PM me. 14. Second Try... only with Matoro's Inika form. Again I was lazy when it comes to shading it.... but I did use poses from a pictures of Kirito GGO, so this one is much more dynamic looking than my first try. Criticism or compliments, feel free to be as brutally honest as you wish, because a shadow of truth never killed anyone...
  15. Behold! Matoro Mahri I wanted to try out my wacom pad, and I think I got the hang of using the drawing pad. It's not bad for a first try at it. However, I don't know why he ended up looking similar to kirito in sword art online season 2, you know kind of feminine... but heck, it's not my fault his set design has feminine features. Anyway, I got lazy by not adding shading like I normally would, but I might do that later. This took about 1 hour and a half to complete. I'm still new at using my wacom pad and the Manga Studio Debut 4.0 program it came with. So practice makes perfect... I guess? Criticism or compliments, feel free to be as brutally honest as you wish, because a shadow of truth never killed anyone... (Oh and here's a link to a voice audition for Matoro, which inspired me to draw him in the first place.)
  16. The idea popped into my head for this photo with Toa Matoro Mahri, so I decided to go ahead with it. Click image for larger version.
  17. According to BIONICLESector01, Matoro had a great singing voice as a Matoran! Where did that come from?
  18. I am an aspiring writer hoping to try my hand at bionicle fanfiction. That being said although this story is not canon I am going to try and keep it as close to the main story as possible. This takes place at the beginning of the 2008 storyline. If this preview gets good reviews I will post new chapters on my profile blog. Enjoy and please let me know what think. I will let you guys know if I decide to continue the story or not. WHITENESS That was what seemed to surround the white armored being. He had woken up in a seemingly endless room of pure white. Looking around, the being tried to remember how he had got here. "Wherever here is", he muttered to himself. Suddenly he saw himself falling, then there was a great flash of light. Shaking off the vision, the being noticed a sword and a strange blaster-type weapon lying on the floor. "Hmm, are these mine?" he said. He picked up the sword and felt a shock travel through his whole body. A name suddenly appeared in his thoughts. Matoro Memories flooded back into his mind. He remembered that he had died after using the Mask of Life to save the Great Spirit Mata Nui. He also noticed he was an Inika again. "So if I died", Matoro thought, "What am I doing here?" Suddenly an image of the Mask of Life appeared in front of Matoro and began to speak. "I see your memories have returned" the mask said. "Can you explain why I'm here? And where here even is?" asked Matoro. "You are inside of me'' said the Mask. ''When you used the mask your body was destroyed, but I managed to save your mind and spirit before you died. I contained them in here and began to bring you back to life, but to bring your mind back I had to give you some kind of physical form you could attach yourself to. I chose your Inika form simply because it is more familiar to me, and it is what The Great Beings intended you to be''. ''So would it be possible for me to have a true body again?'' Matoro asked. ''I could create a new body for you'' the mask said, ''but I do not wish to release you at this time. You see, I saved you because you intrigued me, Toa. I have never had a mask bearer use my power with such selfless confidence, and heroism. In short, I want to know why you were so different''. ''Great'' groaned Matoro ''I'm nothing more than a curiosity. My life actually has no meaning to you. How ironic, The Mask of Life finds other life meaningless. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY I SACRIFICED MYSELF? Matoro yelled, I DID IT BECAUSE THERE ARE THINGS OUT THERE WORTH LIVING FOR! If I didn't try to save Mata Nui all of my friends would be dead with me. Everyone would have died, and even if we somehow survived I could never live with my failure. I never wanted to be a hero, and yet I never realized: It's those who never want to be a hero, that somehow end up saving us all". Matoro looked directly at the mask and said: "If you don't want to give me a body, at least do this for me. ''Become a hero''. The image of the mask vanished, and Matoro sat down and sighed. He had hoped the mask did have at least some emotion in it. Suddenly he felt energy surging through the room, and a window appeared in front of him. Looking through it, Matoro realized he could see the world from the mask's point of view. The mask had created a body for itself and was just finishing creating a hoverboard to escape what appeared to be the bottom of a swamp. As they flew off Matoro heard the mask's voice echo through the white chamber: I will be a hero, in honor of the hero that went before me. Matoro smiled as he watched them fly away from the swamp. It was a new beginning. To be continued. Maybe

    Move Along

Well, this forum seems to be a bit slow lately, so I thought I'd post something I just threw together. I was at a conference this week when, suddenly, "Move Along" came from a nearby club, and I immediately thought of those Inika commercials, so I decided to draw Matoro, just because he's the best. I sketched it out on lined paper over the course of 45 min. or so, erasing and coming back to different areas throughout several hours until I was fairly satisfied with the result. I've been really working on human proportion lately and trying to develop my style of Bionicle drawing, so this was really a test of my newer style. I also wanted to try out some new Photoshop techniques, so I hope they don't distract too much. Move Along "...When all you got to keep is strong/ Move along, move along, like I know you do/ And even when all hope is gone/ Move along, move along just to make it through..." Credits: All American Rejects for the lyrics SheridanJ for the lens flare LEGO for being awesome and coming up with the original design Photoshop for the effects I do have a few other sketches lying around everywhere that I've just been testing with, but this one was by far the best, especially with some of those effects. I may try to post some of them later. Thanks for viewing, please comment, critique, and share...you know, if you want and all that.

  21. Hewkii drew his hand carefully over the chunk of granite, shaping it with his elemental power. A perfect sphere was beginning to emerge from the rough stone. He hoped it was impressive enough. The former Po-matoran sighed, resting from his labor for a minute. "We're sure about this?" he asked his companion. "Just a sphere? Toa Lhikan got statues kio high." Nuparu looked up from the circuitry he was repairing and nodded. "You heard what Jaller said. Besides, those statues of Toa Lhikan didn't last very long." "I guess." The kohlii player in Hewkii wanted to see merit given a greater reward than a simple headstone. It didn't feel right, after everything the Toa Mahri of Ice had given, that his sacrifice should just drop into obscurity. But on a Toa team, apparently the majority ruled. So he went back to his tasking of smoothing stone while Nuparu welded in silence. "Can I interrupt for a minute?" An Onu-matoran stood in the doorway of the makeshift workshop, his arms full of tools and gizmos. "Here's the stuff you wanted, Nuparu. Took us a while to scavenge it, what with everything going on out there." "Thanks, Unletu," Nuparu smiled at his former co-worker. "Just put it down anywhere." "Okay." Unletu dropped the unorganized heap in a corner. The neat freak in Hewkii winced at the sight before returning his focus to the sculpture. "Hey, that's gonna look good, Hewkii!" The Onu-matoran ran his hand over a section of the granite. "Finish off all the pores and that'll last a thousand years." "That's the idea," the Toa of Stone answered briefly.* * * "You're really sure that's it?" Hewkii asked one more time, as the five Toa Mahri surveyed the finished creation. "He deserves a lot more than this, you know." Hahli shook her head. "This isn't about what he deserves. This is about remembering." "Yeah, well I think he'd like us to remember a little more than just a grave," Hewkii grumbled. Nuparu carefully fitted the last wire into the socket and slid out from underneath the sculpture. "Trust me, this is a lot more than just a grave. Some of my best work is in there. Hand me the heatstone, someone?" Kongu obliged, then turned to Hewkii. "Back in treebright Le-koro, we had a specialcertain way of deepburying the ones who darkdied. We made treewood boxes and hungtied them to a hugebig tree so they lookseemed like fruit." His face had a bittersweet expression. "It pathshowed how the fallendeath helpgived to others new leafdawn. They were not just oldbone and gone; their hero-acts keptmade them alive and happycheer forever." Hewkii let the confusing explanation hang in the air for a few seconds before asking, "Your point is...?" "My point-thought," Kongu answered slowly, uncharacteristically solemn, "is that to realtruly honorgive a cold-dead hero, you have to speakshow what they gaveleft. Matoro can live spiritblessed forever, if we tellshow how he madegave us a newbetter life." Nuparu shook his head and attached the heatstone to the generator he'd contrived. "That's the most confusing obituary I've ever heard." "Treespeak is very specialimportant to me, now that so fewsmall still singspeak," Kongu answered. Jaller was tempted to roll his eyes, but in a way, he understood the Toa of Air's logic. Yes, maybe everything they had known on Mata-Nui was a lie, but that world had shaped who they were. It had made them strong and brave enough to face the impossible dangers of the past few weeks, and given them the tools to survive in this new world. To completely forget that culture, that history, felt like betraying a friend. Like forgetting Matoro, as so many had already seemed to do. He brushed off his metaphysical musings as Nuparu flicked a switch on the small control panel. "Is it ready?" The inventive Toa nodded. "Everything's a go." Hewkii looked their joint creation over with a critical eye. The sphere, suspended a third of a bio off the ground by four elegant protodermis legs, was about two bio in diameter, perfectly smooth and glistened white in the sun. The thick stone shell protected an advanced kind of recording device, similar to the Chronicler's book. The sphere was laced throughout with veins of protodermis to conduct electricity. A simple touch on the surface could activate the device, but a thousand years of howling winds would hardly chip anything away. He grudgingly nodded his approval of the structure. "Let's try it." Nuparu put his hand on the sphere, stroking it like he would a pet Ussal crab. "Let me go first, in case there's a bug." For several minutes, he kept his hand on the stone, his eyes closed in concentration. "There. Someone else try it." Jaller pressed his palm to the granite, followed by Hahli, Kongu and Hewkii. Each of them poured all their memories of the Toa Mahri of Ice into the stone, the recorder soaking up every second of their trials together. It was nearly half an hour before they were all finished, each exhausted by the experience. Nuparu bent to reach the control panel again and flicked a second switch. "Perfect! Now, anyone who touches this is going to see everything he did." The Toa of Fire nodded his approval. "I think he would have liked it." Kongu looked over at Hahli, who was staring into the sky absently. "You want to speaksay a few solemnwords?" The former Chronicler nodded, bringing her eyes back down to earth. "Sure." She paused for a second, collecting her thoughts. At last, she shook her head. "No. No, I can't. He didn't need speeches or songs. He never wanted praise or recognition; he wanted his friends to be safe. He lived with lies and deception every day as Turaga Nuju's aid, but he just wanted the truth to come out. And when it did, and we left to find the Toa Nuva, he probably knew more about what we were getting ourselves into than any of us. But he came anyway, even if he did have nightmares every night and woke the rest of us." Kongu chuckled ruefully at the memory. Hahli seemed not to hear and just kept on talking. "Matoro just wanted to have a normal life, one where he could get up in the morning and not hear the warning horns. He wasn't a genius, or a weapons expert or a fighter. He was just a matoran in a world made by powerful beings who didn't care if we lived or died, people who saw us as insects. And he proved them wrong, because he was greater than they'll ever be. He gave everything to save a future he'd never see." She paused for breath and was startled to feel Jaller's hand slip around her own, squeezing it tight. "Nice speech," he smiled. She gave a shaky laugh. "I give my best ones without realizing I'm doing it." Hewkii exhaled softly. Maybe they're right. Maybe he really doesn't need a monument or a museum. It's enough that we remember.
  22. Just like my previous posts,Takua and Hali (Note there's a group render in the topic of Takua). Any questions or comments?
  23. Logo created by me, photos taken from the comic series under fair use. Matoro face done by Fsnorglepuff As some of you may know, I have recently finished my Continuations of The Powers That Be and The Yesterday Quest. I like to keep my books and chapter lengths about the same as the original chapters, so I refused to go over 12 chapters, and chapters that were longer than 1,800 words. Because of this, I wasn't able to finish the storyline, so I am going to write two more series that finish it up, so here's the first of those, it's called...Secrets Of The Star, it is being dually written with another series called End of the Beginning, a Video Podcast Series. Before reading this, I suggest you read The Powers That Be Continuation and The Yesterday Quest Continuation, as it makes certain events in this story make more sense. PLEASE leave me some feedback, even if it's something simple like "I liked this epic", or "I didn't like this epic." Review Topic Chapter 1 Matoro stared around the clearing at the team who had volunteered to go to the Red Star. The rest of the Toa Mahri were there, as well as the Toa Hagah, and the Toa Nuva (with the exception of Lewa), including Takanuva, a Toa of Magnetism named Neurox, a Toa of Plasma named Cirek, and a Toa of Acid named Kyrah, who was the last member Matoro stared around the clearing at the team who had volunteered to go to the Red Star. The rest of the Toa Mahri were there, as well as the Toa Hagah, and the Toa Nuva (with the exception of Lewa), including Takanuva, a Toa of Magnetism named Neurox, a Toa of Plasma named Cirek, a Toa of Acid named Kyrah, who was the last member of the Acid Elementals, and the Ta-Koro Guard, Agni; their leader, Kalama, Keahi, Maglya, and Parko. From New Atero, Ackar; the Prime Glatorian, Ovea; the Second Glatorian, Perditus; the Vehicle Pilot, as well as Noreko and Mania, and an Agori named Crotesius. From New Tajun, Tarix; the veteran warrior and Prime Glatorian, Kiina; the Second Glatorian, Telza; the Vehicle Pilot, Vodar and Iroka, and lastly, Berix; an Agori and friend of Kiina. That made a total of over thirty warriors, hopefully enough to stop the Element Lords. Only two Glatorian, Churio, a retired Glatorian of New Tajun, and Greho, a Fire Tribe warrior who had wounded himself recently, were staying behind to guard the two villages. The ten Glatorian and the two Agori piled into the two Thornatus vehicle piloted by Telza and Perditus, and then set off towards the Valley of the Maze… … Takadox grinned. A few hours ago, he had single-handedly slain Pridak, Ehlek, and Kalmah, and taken over the Dark Hunters, which he had renamed Takadox’s Dark Kingdom. Before him stood Darkness, a Dark Hunter who was assigned to make sure the leader of the Dark hunters knew no fear, and to kill him if he showed any signs of it.Behind him stood Sentrakh; his personal bodyguard, Lariska; the recruiting and training lieutenant, and Eliminator; the execution lieutenant.Takadox waved his hand, and Sentrakh left. Darkness hopped up to his perch at the top of Takadox’s tall chair. Takadox turned to Eliminator and said, “As of now, all Dark Hunters shall be referred to as Kingdominions, that being said, have any members of the Kingdom repeatedly failed any missions recently?”Eliminator and Lariska exchanged astonished looks, a little surprised at how quickly Takadox was filling the role of a well-informed and tactical leader. Eliminator stammered, “Firedracax has failed to his goal for the past three missions.”Takadox replied, “Then you know what to do.”Eliminator nodded, and turned to leave, but Takadox stopped him and added, “Oh, and one more thing, have any members recently disappeared or not returned from missions?”Eliminator replied, “Voporak was sent to retrieve the Mask of Time, but didn’t return. Also, Devastator disappeared during the relocation to our new base.”Takadox nodded, “Alright, carry out your orders, and send in The Recorder.”Eliminator dipped his head in respect, and then left. Takadox turned to Lariska and said, “Ah, we meet again my dear Lariska.”Lariska was taken aback by Takadox’s calm tone, and he continued, “Even though our time together was short back on the voyage to find Makuta Miserix, I liked you the moment I met you.”Lariska was once again taken aback, and Takadox finished, “But before we continue this, tell me, how is the training of our newest members coming?”Lariska stammered, “Well…I recruited three Vortixx, but only one of them was able to pass the test, a female named Fatalla, she fought Charger and was able to beat him. I executed the other two because they attacked me after they failed the test.”Takadox nodded and Lariska continued, “I also recruited a pair of Skakdi who both passed their tests against Lurker and Prototype.”Takadox nodded once more and said, “That will replace the three lost members.”At that very moment, The Recorder entered the room and said, “You called for me sire?”Takadox sighed, “It appears we will have to continue this later my dear.”Lariska nodded and quickly walked out of the room, not bothering to dip her head in the normal respectful fashion, and instead cast confused glances over her shoulder as she went.Takadox turned to The Recorder and said, “Note the following. The Dark Hunters and the League of Six Kingdoms merge, forming Takadox’s Dark Kingdom. The Shadowed One killed under unknown circumstances. The remaining Barraki executed for incompetence.”The Recorder glanced up from his tablet and said, “Anything else my lord?”Takadox shook his head, “no, I must be left alone to consider my new members and give them codenames, as well as assign missions.”The Recorder nodded and left the room, leaving Takadox to himself… … The Dark Hunter known as Devastator lay on the ground, over him stood five black-armored figures. The Dark Hunter shook the stars form his head and looked at the tallest of the beings. The figure wore black armor, with lime colored designs etched into it. He held a buzzsaw-like shield that also had green designs on it, and a strange launcher in his other hand that had fired a spiked projectile that had blown him off his feet. Devastator spoke, “Who…or what…are you?”The being held his buzzsaw shield down to Devastator’s head, and said, “you can call me Venomu; leader of the Skrall.”He activated the blade, and Devastator screamed as his head was disconnected from the rest of his body... … Takadox glanced up at Darkness, who sat at the top of his chair. He watched as four figures, a Vortixx and two Skakdi, as well as Lariska, entered the room. Lariska said, “These are the three recruits I mentioned earlier.”Takadox nodded and said, “I have already come up with codenames for you.”He pointed towards the two Skakdi and continued, “You two shall be called Distracter, and Hunter.”He turned to the Vortixx, “And you shall be called Fatalla.”The three new Kingdominions nodded and left. Lariska was about to follow them, but Takadox stopped her, “Wait.”Lariska grimaced, waiting for Takadox to continue their earlier conversation, but she was relieved when he said, “Tell Eliminator that I want to see him.”She nodded and left, wiping a drop of sweat from her forehead as she went…
