The Tyranny of Black Six and the Staff Or Lack of It Oneshot This Thing iBrow Comedy Productions Someplace, sometime: Furno: Hi. Welcome. Bulk: ... Furno: What? Bulk: ...nothing. Continue. Furno: I’m Furno from How to Be a Hero. This is Bulk, a pretty lame guy. Bulk: I am not lame! Furno: Your 2012 set barely has any silver. Bulk: That means nothing! Furno: Whatever. We’re not here to talk about why Bulk’s sets all suck. Bulk: ... Furno: We’re here to talk to you all about Black Six, the tyrant ruler of BZPower. Bulk: I thought Hapori Tohu ruled BZPower. Furno: Meh. He’s like BZPower’s Mata-Nui. Bulk: Ah. So he has a god-like status and does nothing whatsoever to maintain order. Furno: Exactly. I hear he writes news reports now though. Bulk: Strange job for a god-like being. Furno: Yeah. Anyway, onto Black Six. Bulk: Yes, Black Six. Just the thought of him sends a shiver up my spine. Furno: You see, we read the forums frequently. Bulk: And by frequently we mean, of course, once a year. Furno: And the one time we get on in 2012, everybody is complaining about how evil the staff are! Bulk: And since Black Six is the leader of the staff, he must be behind it all. Furno: So, at the risk of losing our non-existent proto- Bulk: Since we are Hero Factory, and also not members of the site. Furno: -we’ve decided to start a petition to replace the tyrant Black Six and all of his evil staff that support him with not-so evil people. Bulk: Wait, what? Makuta: I say let them stay. Tyrants are awesome. Bulk: I saw that coming miles away. Makuta: And yet it still hit you in the face. Nex: I think that your position is biased. Furno: It is not! Nex: How many different people have you seen posting this stuff? Furno: ...less than twenty. Nex: And how many of them could’ve been sarcastic? Furno: ...more than... ten.... Nex: And how many people have you seen supporting the staff and giving valid evidence that it’s their own action and not the staff working through them? Furno: ...a lot more than twenty.... Nex: My point is made. Furno: Bulk! Help me out! Bulk: Why? I didn’t even want to do this! We were supposed to research something on the internet! Furno: Exactly! We researched this problem and have come up with an alternative solution! Bulk: ... Makuta: Well, I’m with Furno and Bulk. So you can add me to the list of you two and those twenty-some members of BZPower. Nex: I’m telling you, more evidence exists on BZPower that the staff are nice, cool, awesome, chill people! Furno: I prefer everything to be hot, myself. Bulk: I’m leaving this petition. Furno: This is falling apart. Nex: Was it ever put together? Makuta: You know what, Nex makes a good argument. I’m leaving this petition. Furno: Sigh.... Tahu: ALRIGHT! FIFTY-FOUR OUT OF ONE HUNDRED! NEXT GROUP! Furno: Darn it. Kopaka: Rocka and I also did research on the issue surrounding BZPower’s staff members. However, we also looked at several other sites with forums to see how their staff moderated things, took into account different source material these sites are based on, their relationship with the companies that make said material, and so on. Rocka: I can’t believe our project is better than Bulk’s. Bulk: Furno did all the work. Furno: ... Rocka: I can’t believe Bulk let Furno do all the work. Who would ever trust Furno to do work properly. Bulk: ...I’m not even going to bother trying to explain. Kopaka: Anyway. After looking at BZPower in-depth, we then looked at the fan site for Team Fortress 2 called “Team Fortress 2 sucks and is the worst game ever of all time and sucks and is horrible just kidding.com”. Rocka: Needless to say, the target audience is older and thus the rules aren’t quite as strict as on BZP. Also, Valve didn’t seem to have any real affiliation with the site, so they didn’t need to have a very good image. Kopaka: Next we looked at the Hero Factory fan site “Hero Factory is better than Bionicle lulz.com”. Rocka: It seems that this site has spoken with LEGO on occasion, but for the most part, remains apart. As such, their rules weren’t quite as strict because again, the image of the site didn’t need to be that great. Kopaka: We then looked at the LEGO City fan site “Lego City by Lego for Lego fans using Lego bricks and Lego mini figures with way too many uses of the word Lego in one sentence.com”. Rocka: They had an even better relationship with LEGO than BZPower, and we soon realized that their rules were far stricter as well. Kopaka: They censored the word “the” to “nice”. Rocka: Imagine trying to say “The cow jumped over the moon” and instead posting “Nice cow flew with nice moon”. Kopaka: After taking a look at even worse sites that had no relationship with the companies at all, we determined that although BZPower may be stricter than most, in the end, it’s one of the cooler places in the internet and the staff are most certainly not looking to mount your mask on a stake. Rocka: Which is good for the pigs, I reckon. Nex: Now THAT is a research project! Tahu: 94 OUT OF 100. GREAT JOB! Kopaka: Thank you. Can I leave this class now? Tahu: No. Kopaka: Darn. Rocka: I can’t believe I got a 94. I’ve never beaten 75 in my life! Furno: I’ll bet 75 has been happy about that until now, too. Makuta: Horrible joke is horrible. Furno: And redundancy is redundant. Kopaka: Anyway, there you all have it. BZPower’s staff are not out to get your guts. Rocka: They just want Hapori Tohu to rule the universe. The End. And there you have yet another take on this pressing issue/fad/whatever it is. -ibrow
