Pirate Lord Dreadwind by Mohamed Marei, on Flickr "Prepare for the plundering of yer lifetime, ye wee scallywags!" <Additional Photo> Started this fella around the start of October with the intention to have him ready for #halloween, but decided to post it sooner cause I'll be busy next weekend.

Bones of the Risen - BioCup 2019 Preliminary Round by Mohamed Marei, on Flickr "What does it take to awaken a beast so foul that mankind cowers at the thought of its return? The crown of a fallen king; the skull of a traitor; the robes of a pious monk; the visage of a terrible foe; and the blood of a youthful soul." Built for the #BioCup2019 Preliminary Round, whose theme was "Scary Monsters". Haven't had this much time building in ages! Really enjoyed this round's theme and can't wait to find out what the other rounds have store for us (or anyone else who makes it onwards)!

My entry to the Makuta contest on rebrick, didn't really feel like building a big edgy thing so I went with this instead. Don't forget to check out the Rebrick page.

You might remember the Skeleton Dragon moc I posted years ago. Well since then I've made even more changes to it. I'm only able to post pictures now since we got new parts in LDD. Changes from the last one are a new brick built head, Brick built legs and wings and some slight torso tweaks. I only have LDD pictures but will post real life pictures once a Bricklink order comes in. I'm 90% sure this is the final version but who knows maybe as more new pieces are created I'll find a use for them to improve the design further Gallery when public http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=563306 Lxf file http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/skeleton_dragon.lxf Pictures http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/skeleton_dragon_1.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/skeleton_dragon_2.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/skeleton_dragon_3.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/skeleton_dragon_4.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/skeleton_dragon_5.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/skeleton_dragon_6.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/skeleton_dragon_7.png As a bonus an Lxf file for a smaller more minifig scale sized skeleton dragon (Real life pictures of it will be posted as well) http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/SkeletonDragon/mini_skeleton_dragon.lxf Comments and criticism appreciated

Papyrus from the game Undertale he might not be that scary, but he's still a skeleton with a big heart and a big bowl of spaghetti

Flickr So here I was, thinking how I'd miss yet another BBC Contest because it was happening during a college quarter when I'm away from my parts and don't have the time to make anything anyway. But then I remembered that I had made a thing recently without posting it on BZP, and even better it actually fits the current contest! And so life was good. ~B~

We have the skeleton body build from 2011 to now and i was thinking of what you guys think about the skeleton. The parts of the skeleton are great and the hero (not the xl) is easy for a lot of people to build but it is starting to get old, we seen a lot of recolor and some old part brought back but not a lot of new stuff and the build is not evolving. (Oh boy time for some history) In Bionicle the Toa's was evolving from 2002 to 2006 then mostly stay with both inika ,piraka and another body that pohatu and kongu have (but with differnt limbs) build from 2007 to 2008 (plus with the villains body in 2008) , then with the glatorian they just stay with the inika body in 2009. In 2010 with the stars we got the Matoran body plus with the Matorans they was evolving from 2001 to 2008. (Now time for Hero Factory) In 2010 with the Lego new Hero Factory they gotten new body plus with the villains they added Bionicle parts in the villains, Then in 2011 we gotten the new skeleton build and LEGO made great build with it in 2011 Savage Planet. Then in 2012 to 2013 they still use the skeleton build. To me it is starting to get old and i do think they should evolve to something new. So what do you think about the skeleton.
