  1. At the beginning of the Ignition Saga, the Piraka invade Mangaia and Teridax plants the knowledge of the Kanohi Ignika in their mind. He uses the Skakdi to transport his essence to Voya Nui, but why did he need them past that? He clearly needed the toa to use the mask of life to save Mata Nui as per the Mahri story and his interactions with Matoro, but as far as I know he was not expecting the toa inika to arrive/be formed. As far as he knew, the toa nuva would have remained defeated by the Piraka, and Mata Nui would have died—ruining The Plan. So, why did he help them? Could he have tricked the Piraka into using the mask to save mata nui? Can Skakdi use mask powers? Would he have tried to use the mask himself?
  2. I was surprised to see my all-time favourite Bionicle showdown at the Fairview Mall LEGO Store in Toronto this past Saturday. However, I don't know how "official" this is. It says it was built by a Master Builder, but I don't know if this is just a one-off creation for this store only, or if the instructions came from higher up. Regardless, I just thought you would like to see it.
  3. So, sometime around the same time that Teridax infected the GSR with that sleep-causing virus, he took on the appearance of Turaga Dume in Metru Nui, presumably after subduing somehow and stuffing the real guy into a Matoran sphere. Now, according to BS01, Teridax went ahead and took over the person of "Dume" about a year and a half prior to the climax of Legends of Metru Nui. The question is... how did he avoid arousing suspicion right off the bat? If Teridax was the "Makuta of Metru Nui", presumably one of the folks who could directly influence trade, communication, and regulations concerning Metru Nui and work with the inhabitants of other islands to keep the place safe, how could he possibly have disappeared for over a year without creating mass panic? Sure, the Matoran probably didn't see much of an effect, as it's possible that they didn't even knew who Teridax was; however, the folks in charge of Xia, Zakaz, Stelt, and the Southern Continent would have surely made an effort to communicate with him on issues concerning immigration and commerce. As far as always figured, Teridax was the de facto leader of Metru Nui after the Matoran Civil War, with the Turaga serving a strictly ceremonial role for social events and rituals like Akilini games. (IIRC that's pretty much what the Turaga did on Mata Nui as well.) At the very least, he would have been watched by the Order, which was definitely keeping tabs on him and his efforts at militarizing the Brotherhood. Wouldn't folks have been trying to reach him constantly, especially as rumors spread of the Morbuzahkh and certain Dark Hunters? If anyone can clear this one up, then that would be phenomenal. Discuss. -Azani
  4. SO. Who's your favorite Makuta?Mine was Krika. I always felt sorry for him. He tried his best to do good, and look where it got him. Mutated, and faded out of existence by Gorast.
  5. [Digital Render] Makuta Teridax by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr "Little Toa, you have not yet begun to see even the barest outlines of my plans. I have schemes within schemes that would boggle your feeble mind. You may counter one, but there are a thousand more of which you know nothing. Even my … setbacks … are planned for, and so I shall win in the end.“ — Makuta Teridax to Toa Metru Vakama, Time Trap * * * If you like what I do and you want to see me create your OC, a favorite Bionicle Character, or something else, feel free to look up my Commission Info! I also now have a Patreon page, so please consider supporting!
  6. Hi, guys! We all know that Makuta Teridax from G1 and Makuta from G2, everybody's favorite Bionicle villain and mine, too, are like different versions of each other from alternate universes. Each of them is the main antagonist of one of the generations overall. Both are powerful and demonic warriors who have shadow powers and can shape-shift. They even turn into Titan-sized, or Hulk-sized forms, which are their traditional and well-known forms. They are masterminds who created complex plans that lead to conquest and destruction. They led armies of other evil-hearted villains. They always kill some people along the way. All of these qualities make them very dangerous, crazy, and cruel. We always see the Makuta's fight against Toa and their allies. Some of their allies are who the Makuta's call their "brothers" who they put into endless slumbers for a thousand of years. The Makuta's proved to be most difficult foes that the heroes have faced, are archenemies of the heroes, too. The Makuta's are like Bionicle's own Thanos from Marvel, Darkseid from DC Comics, Aku from Samurai Jack, Him from The Powerpuff Girls, the Overlord and Garmadon from Ninjago, President Business from The Lego Movie in 2014, Megatron from Transfomers, and Jafar from Disney's Aladdin movie in 1992 (happy 25th anniversary to it). I would consider Makuta Teridax to be one of the greatest villains in history (Makuta G2 - well, not so much). They have been through many battles through the storylines, and they include: 1. 2001 - Toa Mata vs. Makuta Teridax in his vortex form 2. Late 2003 - Takanuva vs. Teridax in his shadow Titan form 3. 2004 - Toa Metru (mainly Vakama) vs. Teridax in his winged Titan form 4. 2007 - the Barraki vs. Teridax as Maxilos 5. 2010 - Mata Nui and his forces vs. Teridax, controlling the Great Spirit Robot, and his forces 6. 2016 - Toa Uniters vs Makuta G2 If you have other things and the Makuta's being involved in battles in mind, go ahead to say it. Anyway, the point in this topic is that to ask you this: What is your favorite Makuta-Teridax-or Makuta-G2-involved battle? My question is inspired by the time I watched YouTube videos about boss battles of a certain boss from some games, like Lego Joker from Lego's TT Games, Bowser and each individual Koopaling (each of these guys have their own video) from Mario, and King K. Rool from Donkey Kong. There are so many Makuta Teridax/Makuta G2 fights that I compare them to these videos. You see what I mean? So, as I said, what is your favorite Makuta Teridax/Makuta G2 battle? For me, mine is the 2001, late 2003, 2004, and 2010 battles.
  7. I have long wanted to make this guy, at first intended to perform a custom mask, but it was too much work, until one day testing a custom head emerged for the mask that worked wonderfully with the mask.torso structure is very flexible and durable and does not lose the character's base structure.the parts legs were more difficult to build because stability, function and aesthetics not always work well, the wings were easy to build elements thanks to previous experiences, unlike other cases I use fabric to complement the design. finally the color scheme, basically uses the same idea behind the orginal whole, however decided to use dark red for the color contrast was not so high. I hope you liked to see this character as much as me, it was a pleasant experience and adds to the other characters built based on movies. who are you looking for? krekka: where is nihdiki?teridax: don´t worry i will take you with him!!
  8. ALVIS

    Descendant

This idea’s been floating around in my head for a while now, ever since I had the thought, “Hey, what if I wrote a little vignette for every Dark Hunter who didn’t get adequate coverage in the main story?” That project might be a little too ambitious, but while I was brainstorming ideas, this one sprang into my head and wouldn’t go away. I wrote half of it immediately, but only now did I have the time and the drive to actually finish it. Hopefully, I’ve been able to communicate the sort of pathos I was trying to get at with this story. If I haven’t, it might just seem really weird. Anyway, read and enjoy, and please review! ~~~~~ DESCENDANT Thump. Thump. Thump. The ominous sound rumbled through the corridors as Makuta Teridax strode through the dark, echoing from above, below, and all sides in-between. An eerie green glow hovered at the edge of the shadows, just enough to light the path for a being of daytime. Makuta Teridax, however, was not such a being. His vision pierced the utter black shroud and saw what surrounded him in full menacing splendor. In truth, he was awed. Cells. Thousands upon thousands of cells, uncountable in their numbers, nested as far as his shadowed eyes could see, in every direction. In each of them, a dark shape hung, all but motionless, twitching maybe once in a century. Bohrok, Makuta murmured, captivated by the majesty and horror that surrounded him. If I could only capture the secrets of this slumbering army… It had not been too long ago that he had discovered their Queens, hovering in suspended animation. The Bohrok at large had no minds to speak of, but a telepathic scan yielded much information from the Bahrag. They lie in wait for an island that should not be, Makuta recalled. When awakened -- I suspect the signal is sonic in nature -- they will rise and clear every obstacle from the island face. Then they will retire to their nests, never knowing the true purpose for their actions. He had been walking for a long while now. Fewer and fewer cells loomed above him as he descended another corridor, crossed another threshold. His sight told him this was the edge of the nests, but his instinct told him there was more yet to be found. A carving caught his gaze. Makuta examined it; the style was unlike anything Matoran society had ever seen. Depicted were the Bahrag, exposing one of their krana to a mysterious substance. Once immersed, it emerged as something far more than what it was. It was not long before he reached the end of the tunnel. A circular gate of a strange metal blocked the passage, but it could not block his magnetic power. Makuta proceeded into an orange-lit, six-sided chamber, and looked around. Oh, he muttered. Oh, now this is very, very interesting. Mounted on the walls was a plethora of krana, but not of any color or shade he had seen before. Each was metallic in color and regal in shape, and he could feel their power echoing at the back of his mind. Furthermore, six cells were arrayed in the center floor. Inside each hung a Bohrok, but like the strange krana surrounding them, they were unlike those in the rest of the nests. Their armor was colored in glorious chrome shades, and the shields they carried were strong and deadly-looking. On an impulse, Makuta scanned the suspended Bohrok, expecting to find only emptiness. Instead, he found cunning and intelligence beyond anything he had thought. It was simple and narrow-minded intelligence, but intelligence nonetheless. Incredible. A circular door stood discreetly beyond the crimson Bohrok’s cell. Makuta threw it open and advanced. A smaller chamber greeted him. Carvings of the Bahrag and the island above lined the walls, but what was most striking was the pool in the center of the chamber. Inside frothed a mysterious substance -- Makuta’s first thought was energized protodermis, but he soon realized this was anything but. Like liquid lightning, the substance flickered and leapt about in the pool. It was mostly silver in color, but flashes of bronze, gold, emerald, and other shades occasionally joined the fray. Kal, Makuta realized. This was the substance he had seen in the carvings and in the minds of the six Bohrok. No, not Bohrok; Bohrok-Kal. They were transformed by this substance into an elite breed for a specialized purpose. He scanned the substance and found the vast majority of it was raw elemental energy. For brief moments, one element would become dominant over all others -- sonics one moment, plasma the next. He could sense every element churning within this mix, ready to be bestowed. This kal substance was meant for Bohrok, Makuta mused. But what effect would it have, perhaps… on a kraata? “Come, child,” he commanded. From the shadows crawled a purple kraata, oozing a trail of antidermic slime across the floor. It paused, regarding the pool with what could best be described as wariness. Makuta, too, paused, considering all the myriad ways this experiment could go wrong. Abruptly, he dismissed them, and plucked the kraata from the ground. “I didn’t become leader of the Brotherhood for my cautious ways,” he muttered, more to himself than to the writhing thing in his claws. With a bold, fluid movement, he raised the kraata in the air and plunged it into the kal. The kraata writhed and shrieked as the substance flared and flickered. Red-orange sparks flew from the mixture, and Makuta could see a silver sheen beginning to form over the slug. He sensed that the kal had done its work, but on a whim, he did not draw the kraata out of the mixture. Each of the Bohrok-Kal was immersed once, and came out with control over one element. What were to happen, however, if I submerged this kraata for longer? A calming blue glow subsumed the kraata, bathing it in azure energies. It screamed and tried to wriggle free, but Makuta’s grip was firm. He held it in, even as deepest black and darkest red washed over the kraata, seeping around and into the wriggling thing. Finally, Makuta could hold the creature no further -- it had grown too strong -- and quickly, he yanked the creature from the mixture. The creature was not a kraata, not any longer. It had grown triple its size, and silver spines extended from its segmented shape. Down its back ran a silver stripe; beneath that, red, blue, and black colored its slimy form. Most striking, though, were its eyes. Within their orange glow, intelligence gleamed. “Fascinating,” said Makuta. “The first Kraata-Kal in recorded history.” Kraata-Kal looked on him with an uncertain gaze. The mind of the slug was a mixture of fear, awe, and excitement. It -- no, he -- could feel the energies roiling within his body. Fire, water, and shadow… all three would bend to his will. He knew himself to be the most powerful kraata ever to be created, born from the most powerful Makuta ever to rule, and he exulted in it. Of course, even a Kraata-Kal is weak without its armor. Accompanied by his new creation, Makuta returned to his laboratory and began work on a mechanical monster, a sturdy construction of claws, fangs, and dangerous weaponry. Kraata-Kal looked on with glee as his armor took shape, and when it was done, he slithered in and felt raw power coursing through his newfound limbs. To walk… to run… this is simply excellent, Kraata-Kal hissed. He raised his blade and willed his energies into it. Fiery embers sprang from the weapon, even as flame itself erupted at its edge. With one swing, he carved a burning gouge out of the tunnel wall, leaving nothing but scorched rock behind. Another swing set a raging fire burning in the earth before his feet. “Your command of fire is impressive,” Makuta said, nodding. “But what of the others?” Kraata-Kal raised his other claw. A stream of water bubbled forth from thin air, moving to encircle his talons in a graceful dance. Then, with the tempestuous fury of the storm, he blasted forth the water and doused the flame he had set. Steam seethed and rose through the chamber. Then it was time for shadow. Kraata-Kal paused, concentrating on the darkness within his spirit. He awakened the latent power of antidermis and willed it forth in a deluge. All light vanished from the chamber, replaced by utter black. Dark fire burst forth and clung to the walls, the scattered machinery, racing along the ground with tendrils reaching. Suddenly, it was gone, and light returned in full force. Kraata-Kal recoiled, hissing in discomfort, and cleared his eyes to see dark energies emanating from Makuta’s fist. “You produce shadow in great quantities. But never forget the value of absorbing your element. For all darkness to vanish from a room leaves most any opponent startled, at best.” Kraata-Kal nodded. He understood the lecture… and would be sure to put this knowledge to good use. “There is more training yet to come,” Makuta continued, turning and moving from the room. Kraata-Kal followed. “Your control is shaky at times, as is to be expected of a youth. Though I do not control fire and water myself, I have read tomes on the subject. What’s more, I will procure some captured Toa, who can serve as both teachers and target practice for you and your coming brothers.” Kraata-Kal paused abruptly. Makuta sensed his shock and bewilderment, and gave a laugh. “What, did you think me satisfied with just one of your kind? Oh, no. The kal substance has energy yet for a thousand more Kraata-Kal, all masters of their respective elements. With such as these in the hands of the Brotherhood, the Plan must succeed.” Makuta gestured, and a rock wall vanished to reveal the Silver Sea, with Metru Nui shining on the horizon. “I must depart now, to meet with the Turaga. There is some argument over whether to allow Vortixx and others permanent residence in the city, or some other silly dispute. But when I return, my experiments can begin in earnest.” Kraata-Kal’s spirit churned with outrage. Below the ledge, the Silver Sea began to tremble, but Makuta took no heed of it. “I wonder, what effect would the kal have on a functioning Rahkshi?” he murmured to himself -- and then he was gone, vanished from view as he willed himself from the lair. Kraata-Kal’s gaze remained fixed on where Makuta had stood. As the sea began to boil, flames spouted from his armor, and darkness shrouded the lair. Finally, when he could restrain himself no longer, he let out a furious howl that echoed across the sea, through the tunnels, and into every corner of the world he knew. As the echoes began to die down some while later, they were joined by the screams of Rahi, of kidnapped Vahki, and anything else Kraata-Kal could find and kill in Makuta’s lair. A dark inferno blasted a rock lion’s limbs from its torso, a deluge left drowned Vahki parts sparking and squeaking, and pure heat boiled a dozen water wraiths in their tank. Fire, water, and shadow carved their way through the maze of tunnels as he moved, mind ablaze with indignant fury. I am Kraata-Kal, he growled to himself. Only I command three elements, only I wear armor capable of containing my power, only I have a mind as brilliant as Makuta. I am smarter than any kraata, more powerful than any Toa. There can be no other! After hours of wanton murder and destruction, he had smashed everything he could within the laboratories. Slowing down, faltering, he threw a bolt of shadow and brought down a wall, and staggered into a dark corridor filled with glowing, spherical cells. Kraata-Kal stopped dead. Above him hung thousands upon thousands of Bohrok, sleeping the slumber of ages, waiting for a summons that had not been called in some thousands of years. Look at them -- all like the rest, all devoted to a single cause… all bland, all dull, and all fools. A thought occurred to him, and he began to wander through the Bohrok nests. Yes… near the Bahrag, that is where it is. Where I was born, he recalled. He could not let Makuta make more of his brothers. He was unique, a higher form of life, and he was happy to let it stay that way. After some hours of travel and countless wrong turns, his combined elemental energies blasted open the door and brought him into the room of the Bohrok-Kal. Kraata-Kal ignored them -- though the same substance had birthed them as it had him, they were lesser, for they were only conformist Bohrok like the rest. He was made of something stronger. Another door blasted apart, and now the seething energies of the kal were revealed to him. Kraata-Kal stared with a mixture of awe and revulsion. This and Makuta were what had given him life. This and Makuta were what he must be rid of. Kraata-Kal willed forth three streams of elemental energy, crackling in shades of black, red, and blue. With a roar, he thrust them into the kal, willing it to be overwhelmed, to fold in on itself, to explode -- anything, so long as it would be gone. Yet the kal was resilient. Even after Kraata-Kal had halfway exhausted his reserve of energy, it continued to glow as brightly as ever, possibly more so. He howled in anger and frustration. I cannot have -- strengthened it! The kal must be destroyed! On a whim, his gaze fell on the Kanoka launcher he carried, and the pack of disks hanging on his armor. He selected one in particular, surveyed its code -- 618 -- and thought it good. If this cannot destroy the kal, it is simply invulnerable… and I will have to destroy Makuta instead. Kraata-Kal loaded the disk and flung it into the seething pool of kal. He saw the Kanoka vanish into the multi-colored sheen of the substance and disappear as it released its power to reconstitute at random. Then, wisely, he stepped back as he watched it do its work. The kal sputtered. Then it splashed. Suddenly, a low thrumming began to echo through the air, even as the chamber began to shake. Countless colors began to flash from the pool, building in intensity, along with the tremors and the growing noise. Kraata-Kal felt his armor weakened by the vibrations, and decided to leave. He had made it just past the Bohrok-Kal’s chamber when the kal exploded. As the dust settled and silence rang in the air, Kraata-Kal hoisted himself to his feet and staggered back to the chamber. Makuta’s curiosity had taken root in him, and he was eager to know just what he had done to the kal chamber. The Bohrok-Kal and their Krana-Kal hung untouched... but the adjacent chamber had been wiped from existence. Kraata-Kal stared and took in the sight. The kal was gone -- simply gone. There was no sign it, or its chamber, had ever existed. All that was left was a vast crater, a void, where once a most powerful substance had resided. Realization struck Kraata-Kal like a blast of his elemental energy. Makuta will never tolerate this. His Rahi, his Vahki, his experiments, those he can live without… but the kal’s destruction will drive him to maddened rage. I cannot remain here. He had ensured he would have no brothers. No rivals. But in doing so, he had also ensured no more training. No more lectures. And if his armor were ever to break, he could certainly not come to Makuta for repairs. Makuta did not see him as a special being -- he was another tool to be used, and now he was a tool that had gone haywire. Kraata-Kal staggered from the chamber, leaving the Bohrok-Kal slumbering quietly. As the humming of the sleeping Bohrok echoed through the halls, he broke into an aimless run, headed nowhere, everywhere -- anywhere but here. ~~~~~ Darkness hung above the planet of Spherus Magna. Few stars shone in the sky here, in this place of shadow. Here, where mangled metal still formed the semblance of a downed skull, had Makuta Teridax, greatest of the Brotherhood, ruler of the universe, fallen to his enemy. Toa avoided this place. Matoran, too, as well as the Agori and all their creatures. The only movement Kraata-Kal saw from his perch atop a rocky ledge was that of the odd Rahkshi. There were always some gathered here, from all the corners of the planet. It had become something of a pilgrimage to them. Had there been any starlight, it would have shone on armor that had seen years of wear and tear. Dents, scrapes, and missing pieces formed his badges of honor as a mercenary and Dark Hunter. A scar on his upper torso was from a Toa of Plasma; a crumpled dent in his gut was from Vezok; and a missing fang was his souvenir from Makuta’s reign, among others. Kraata-Kal looked down on the smashed skull of the Makuta robot, where deepest darkness held council. Though he knew Makuta could no longer hear his thoughts, he could not help but dwell on them. You once said that a being could be measured by how much others thought of him and his accomplishments. Not that you said it for my benefit; I doubt you realized I was listening. But I heard much of your thoughts as you built my armor and honed my skills, and I have thought on them many times since then. I dismissed the thought, at first. I knew I was strong, intelligent, and unique, and that, I thought, would be enough to secure my place in history. But I may as well have been just another Dark Hunter who dabbled in cheap cons and thievery. You, on the other hand, came to rule a universe, and even in death, you haunt the memories of all who knew you. Many thought you dead when the Matoran returned to Metru Nui. Lurker reported finding only scraps of armor, with no signs of life, and your mask stolen. But I knew you could not be slain so easily. And when I traveled to Voya Nui, I felt your presence slipping down into the depths. Amphibax thought there could be nothing of importance down there, but I knew. I knew that if Makuta had traveled there, then that place was, no doubt, the most important place in the universe. When you reigned, I embraced it. I saw you repay the traitor Ahkmou, and knew I deserved as much. I left the Hunters and traveled to Daxia, ready to lord my authority over your Rahkshi, but they left me scarred and wounded on the beach. I tore at the earth, raged at the heavens, and boiled the seas, but still I received no answer. I didn’t know if you had chosen to ignore me, or had failed to notice me entirely, or which was worse. A burst of fire curled from Kraata-Kal’s blade and ignited a scraggly bush, but it gave no light or warmth to the surrounding area. And now you lie dead in the desert, finally slain, by none less than the Great Spirit himself, and I still do not know what to think of you. You gave me life, and power, and purpose. You treated me like a promising apprentice, but in the end, you saw me as a prototype for an army of my brothers. What, then, am I to think of the being that began my life and ruined it? How can I honor you for everything you gave, and despise you for everything you took away? With a whirring of age-old pistons and gears, Kraata-Kal slumped to his knees, leaning on his blade and gazing out at the shattered skull of Makuta. The truth of it is that… I am not so unlike you, he admitted. I was born from your essence. When the kal granted me higher thought, is it any surprise that my thoughts were similar to yours? Like you, I knew I could have no rivals, no equals, no brothers. I knew I was destined for greatness. Our only difference is that you achieved your ends, but my destiny is as vague as the shadows I call forth. And as thoughts ran wild in his mind, as Rahkshi stalked the darkness of the place of shadow, Kraata-Kal’s mourning gave meaning to a word not used by any being of the Matoran world before: Father.
  9. Story by Jack-The-Writer Cover and Other Artwork by Saronicle Review Topic Prologue Gathered friends, listen again to our legend of the Bionicle. In the time before time, the Great Spirit descended from the heavens, carrying we, the ones called the Matoran, to an island paradise, illuminating us with the three virtues: unity, duty, and destiny. We embraced these gifts, and in gratitude, named our island home Mata Nui, after the Great Spirit himself. However, all was not well. Mata Nui’s brother, the Makuta, betrayed Mata Nui, casting him into a deep slumber. Makuta unleashed his shadows across the island, and all seemed lost. But all hope was not lost, for legends foretold of six mighty heroes, Toa, who would vanquish the evil Makuta and his shadows, and awaken Mata Nui: Gali, Toa of Water. Tahu, Toa of Fire. Kopaka, Toa of Ice. Onua, Toa of Earth. Pohatu, Toa of Stone. Lewa, Toa of Air. And they were victorious, defeating the evil Makuta and all the terrible menaces he unleashed. Makuta unleashed the Rahi, and the Toa found the Masks of Power, defeating the Makuta and saving the Matoran. Then the Makuta unleashed the Bohrok, and the Toa united to defeat their leaders, the Bahrag, gaining new and greater power, becoming Toa Nuva. With these new powers, they were able to combat more dangerous threats, like the Bohrok-Kal, and Makuta’s sons, the Rahkshi. Then, the Mask of Light was discovered, and Takanuva, the Toa of Light, appeared, defeating Makuta and reopening the way to the ancient home of the Matoran: Metru Nui, where, long ago, another team of Toa rescued the Matoran after the Makuta’s betrayal, despite being branded fugitives and being turned into monstrous versions of themselves by the Visorak. After the return to Metru Nui, Mata Nui’s life was discovered to be in danger, and with this new danger, new heroes arose. Six Matoran from Metru Nui journeyed to the dangerous island of Voya Nui to find the legendary Mask of Life, becoming Toa to fulfill their destiny. After braving the trials to reach the mask, they defeated the nefarious Piraka, only for the mask to plunge down into the depths of the sea. Despite, nothing would stop the Toa. They descended deep into the dark ocean, transformed into Toa Mahri, and fought the Barraki, imprisoned warlords, and Toa Matoro sacrificed himself in order to save the Greast Spirit’s life. The Toa Nuva descended into Karda Nui, the core of the universe, in order to fulfill their destiny and awaken Mata Nui. There they met with resistance from the Brotherhood of Makuta’s highest ranks. With the aid of the Mask of Life itself, the Makuta were defeated and Mata Nui awoken. But all was not as it seemed, for the Makuta’s plan had succeeded. While Mata Nui was dead, his mind had slipped in and taken the place of Mata Nui’s, making Makuta the ruler of a universe. He exiled Mata Nui, imprisoning him in the Mask of Life and banishing him from the universe. The Mask of Life drifted through space before crashing on the world of Bara Magna. He fashioned himself a body, and worked with the Agori and Glatorian, the inhabitants of the planet, to attempt to find his way back to his people. While there, he freed the Agori and Glatorian from the tyranny of the Skrall, and discovered a prototype robot built by the Great Beings, which had become buried in the sands of Bara Magna over a hundred millennia. Traveling north, he entered the Valley of the Maze to retrieve the power source for the robot. Mata Nui placed his consciousness into the robot and activated it, hoping to use it to combat the Makuta. But Makuta was aware of Mata Nui’s doings, and flew to Bara Magna to confront his brother. What ensued was a great battle as the once-brothers fought. Makuta released Rahkshi and legions of Skakdi onto the surface of Bara Magna to destroy the Agori and Glatorian, but the Toa managed to escape the universe as well, and Tahu used the legendary golden armor to defeat the Rahkshi. The Rahkshi’s destruction gave Mata Nui an opening, and he pushed Teridax into the path of Aqua Magna, a moon of Bara Magna returning to its original position, killing him instantly. With Teridax defeated, Mata Nui fulfilled his destiny, and used the last of the robot’s energy to reform Spherus Magna. His destiny fulfilled, he retreated into the Mask of Life, leaving the Matoran, Toa, Agori, and Glatorian with a last request: find the Great Beings. But that task would not be as simple as it appeared. Teridax may have been dead, but new evil would follow in his wake. And it did; three evils moved across the land: one, bent on destruction, one bent on subjugation, one with motives unknown. Now comes the time when all, Matoran and Agori, Toa and Glatorian, must work together or be defeated. The time has come for our heroes to face the ultimate test.
  10. In an alternate Reign of Shadows timeline... See? This plan is flawless. It was always going to work. Just like the dynasties that came before them, Mata Nui must eventually fall. It is plain destiny that Teridax was going to succeed in his ingenious plan. It has been so cleverly calculated over the course of thousands of years. It all pays off at this very point... for him, at least. On the other hand, it's too good for me. Knowing that Teridax attempted to kill me and my brethren in the heart of the Matoran Universe is unsettling enough. Now, I'm stuck in a measly shack in the abominable island that is Xia. By the Great Beings, I despise this place. Now that Teridax is in control, this place bears a striking resemblance to Karzahni. We have everything here; the slaving Matoran, the uninhabitable, barren landscape, a dictatorial overseer... the list goes on. However, it has gotten progressively worse with the military boom, if you will. For every minute that passes by, another ten Exo-Toa roam the streets and the Universe. In fact, I believe the curfew starts now. Awaiting a thorough and brutal inspection by Exo-Toa in three... two... one... The door is bashed down the towering enforcers with prejudice as they immediately start ransacking the claustrophobic room in a seeking frenzy for any weapons or artifacts. The Exo-Toa are aggressively proficient, managing to search through every chest and compartment in seconds. "Xia Citizen Number 895200, your personal room is free of any items that may pose a threat to our great Overseer. Thank you for your cooperation." says the commanding Exo-Toa in a monotonous, robotic voice. The Exo-Toa then proceed to exit the room in an orderly fashion and do a strip-search of another hundred thousand more personal rooms. Right as they see themselves out and are out of the room, the resident shapeshifts back into his original form. "Well, another day, another inspection," he groans. "That'll be my energy consumption for the day." Elsewhere... "Alright, we're in Xia, now what? We can't just stroll in." says Hafu. "Well, we... can... just stroll in. To them, we're just another bunch of Matoran for the factories to take," replies Garan. "We just need to find our mystery man." "And why exactly do we trust him with this?" queries Idris. "I hear that he's unstable and cannot be trusted." "See here... Idris. This mastermind has a pension for holding a grudge against the current ruler of this universe and having invaluable powers, so this bet is as good as any." responds Garan. "Still unstable though." says Faiyok. "You know, Faiyok, I think it's best if we shut our mouths and go in. Agreed?" commands Garan. Idris, Hafu and Faiyok nod their heads in unison. It was at that point that they stepped into a truly dangerous place. Garan and Idris had each experienced the nightmarish island of Karzahni, but this was far worse. Right as they were walking in the realm of oppression, they have no idea what's in store for them. * * * "Well, back to work it is. Don't you just love supplying military equipment to the cruel Makuta that rules the Universe? Because I certainly don't. Speaking of tiny biomechanical machines that are oppressively ruled by Teridax, where are those Matoran? I thought we agreed on a meeting place. I guess it's back to the drawing board," thinks the resident. He was going to have to establish a telepathic link again. It took a lot of searching and mind-hopping, but he was able to locate Garan in a armour factory. "Time to go," the resident whispers to himself. The resident, attempting to be as discreet as possible, navigates the bustling roads by shapeshifting into a random Matoran to make his way to the armour factory. In the eyes of the resident, all he could see was countless Matoran bumping into each other with the occasional sight of a comparably titanic Exo-Toa. He had been itching for the chance to teleport to the factory, but under the watchful eye of the Exo-Toa, there was no way that he could get away with it in the traditional way. His way involved projecting a being of shadow that acted as a decoy and then teleporting. Using this method, he teleported himself to the factory he was looking for and shapeshifted into an Exo-Toa following his transference. This form would allow him to escort Garan's group out and potentially help them escape. "Ahhh... feels good to be in a body that boasts a fraction of the power of my original form. Glad my height was compensated for, though," the resident thought. Now in an Exo-Toa's body, he marched in and spotted Garan crafting Protosteel gauntlets. After rattling off a robotic command to Garan, Hafu, Faiyok and Idris, the resident escorted the four out of the factory and forced them into a secluded room. Once the five were inside, the resident started speaking to Garan via telepathy. "So there you are, Garan." says the resident. "Yes, Mutran, I'm the Garan in question. Could we just leave the pleasantries for later and get out of this Mata Nui-forsaken place?" replies Garan. "I believe I have the right to be skeptical, Matoran. As for the departure, just hang on for a few seconds." responds Mutran. In an instant, Mutran teleports himself with the four Matoran to a slightly more secluded area. The Matoran were initially shocked at the realisation of such a sudden happening, but they eventually calmed down after looking around and noticing that they were near the entrance of what seemed to be a cave. Faiyok then looked up to Mutran in confusion, expecting an explanation. "Good question, Idris. What is this place? This cave is more of a tuhhh..." "Mutran! Did you just read my mind?" "IDRIS!" Mutran snapped. "Your vocal processors are being unnecessarily disruptive. Let me do the talking." "What could ever make my voice inaudible to you? I can still talk." sassed Faiyok. "Yeah, I've had enough." moaned Mutran. In an instant, Mutran used his Shelek to render Faiyok's voice inaudible and hopefully calm her down. "You're always so... electric. Not a surprise, really." "Enough foolery, what is this place?" asked Garan. "This mountain is particular is known as The Mountain. Such an underwhelming name for a living, breathing rock that can literally eat things. It's also quite amusing that I'm standing at the foot of a mountain that was once my beloved sentient stone, don't you think?" added Mutran. "More amusing that he held emotions for a rock though..." said Hafu under his breath. Mutran gave Hafu a dirty look for his response before commanding the Matoran to go into the cave and through the tunnel. He could tell that they have more than a few questions about this undertaking, but he ignored them and kept signaling them to progress through the tunnel. Mutran had a bit of a distressed look on his face, but continued on despite possible hesitance. Faiyok was fed up at this point, however. "Where is this going, exactly?" questioned Faiyok. "I don't have much time to explain, Matoran. We're running through the oesophagus of the Mountain. Proceed with caution." explained Mutran. Faiyok responded with wide eyes, which prompted her to run faster. Mutran, using his echolocation abilities, was mapping out the inner workings of the Mountain. They were going to have to go deeper into the stomach of the living rock in the hopes of ending up in a subterranean tunnel. The winding oesophagus of the Mountain eventually led into the ‘stomach’ of the Mountain, which had turned out to be a gigantic pool of Protodites. “Why protodites? Any idea...?” asked Hafu confusingly. “Po-Matoran, I think it might be beneficial to beg the question: What would be their purpose?” replied Mutran. “To act as individual assistant digesters?” added Garan. “Spot on. Now, don’t you dare go into their without immediately not going in there. They will quite literally eat you alive.” condescended Mutran. “So why are we here? questioned Idris. “This is our best hope of finding a secluded tunnel. The last people that ended up here became Protodite prey. Won’t see anyone else down here.” said Mutran. “Alright, let’s go in.” In an instant, Mutran had pushed himself and the four Matoran into the Protodite pit without warning. He knew that they would hesitate, so he just had to go for it. Just before the Matoran could reach the Protodites and meet their doom, Mutran had summoned a large-scale stasis attack and focused it down to the pit, freezing all of the billions of Protodites in place. But only for a short moment. Mutran frantically rushes around to locate the Matoran and bring them together and explain to them what is happening. “WHAT IS GOING ON?” screamed Faiyok. “I pushed you four off and into the digestion pit.” responded Mutran. “But that wasn’t me.” “It wasn’t you? Oh, it’s very ‘you’ to push us off.” sassed Hafu. “No... I’m being controlled. Telepathically. Odd, since I have near impenetrable mental shielding...” said Mutran. Just as Mutran had mentioned mental shielding, he had the sudden urge to undo his stasis attack. He had seemed a tad more murderous than usual. Mutran, knowing that he was being telepathically influenced, swiftly teleported himself and the four Matoran to a random location. Anywhere that wasn’t a pit of Protodites was a viable destination for him. This landed the five in a remote jungle in Daxia. “Alright, you Brakas-mind of a Makuta, where are we now?” enquired Faiyok. “I think we’re in... Daxia. Yeah, it’s Daxia.” answered Mutran. “Wait... Daxia? The Order of Mata Nui Daxia? Well, we best...” responded Garan. Mutran was stunned when Garan had mentioned this. For that, he had used his Shelek once again to keep Garan quiet. Mutran was utterly shocked when he heard mention of the Order of Mata Nui from a mere Matoran. Even he had no idea of the Order before the Karda Nui crisis. “Enough of this. We need to find our way to the nearest settlement. Don’t want to be acquainted to a hungry Muaka, do we now?” commanded Mutran. “But Muaka don’t live in jungles...” said Hafu. Mutran, eager to move on and possibly meet another Makuta who wasn’t sided with Teridax, had commanded the four Matoran to advance forward in a random direction through the olive-green thicket. The jungle itself wasn’t quite as lively or dense as one of the rumoured rainforests of Le-Wahi, but it wasn’t a scrubland either. The jungle appeared to be spotted with either puddles of liquid Protodermis or minuscule veins of Protosteel, but in lieu of that, primitive-looking spears and discs were littered among the jungle. Hafu immediately took interest in the discs, picking one up to investigate. The disc didn’t have any noticeable inscriptions or markings, but Hafu didn’t need a name. Even though he frequently made stone sculptures and not Protodermis sculptures, he could tell one type from the other. Upon closer inspection, Hafu felt that the Protodermis type was familiar. He wouldn’t be mistaken, as the Protodermis was a mass-producable, tools-grade Metru Nui Protodermis. Hafu couldn’t look for much longer, though. “Alright, you Matoran, we have to go.” said Mutran. To Be Continued In Chapter 2
  11. http://imgur.com/a/4UH2w I'm going to start off by saying this build was largely experimental, this is not the final version of this character. (yes that mask is a 3D print, it costed me $45 USD without shipping. I seleted the "matte black steel" option) It was difficult making the torso proportional to his legs because I wanted to include as much detail as the movie from possible, and this extended the middle of the legs quite a bit. I do like how large this figure is, but the mask looks a bit small on that torso compared to the movie. That will be taken care of in an updated version of him. I'm not sure if this looks too "busy", it was not easy to try and prevent pieces from looking they were slapped on, especially in the legs. I wish some of those technic pieces came in dark red, at least his hands match some of the movie color. Surprisingly he's very sturdy - don't ask me how that's possible with those ankle connections. I'll post instructions if people want them. Let me know what you think! Suggestions and criticism are welcome.
  12. Hey, guys! Came up with another MOC recently. I've built him surprisingly quickly from scratch in mere 2 hours. Turaga Makuta is actually an impersonation of my friend, whose nickname is Turaga Makuta. Maybe you remember that guy with LoMN covers and this story with Nathan Furst. Well, enjoy. And here is the gallery on flickr.
  13. What is your favorite Makuta? (had to type it, even though the title is pretty self explanatory, but whatever.) Why is he (or she) your favorite? In case your wondering, my favorite Makuta is Krika. Not only is he the only Makuta I can think of that disliked Teridax's plan, besides the ones that refused Teridax, but he looks cool. He tried to save the Universe in two ways (though one is somewhat involuntary)1. He imprisoned Miserix instead of killing him. It's partly because of Spiriah that Miserix is still alive.2. He tried to persuade Gali to leave Karda Nui so Teridax's reign could not begin. I also admire him for not killing a Toa for once. 3. He tried to infiltrate the Codrex, and risked his life in the process. Kudos to him, by the way.Okay, so that was three things. Whatever. I typed without thinking. So, in conclusion, post about your favorite Makuta and why he (or she) is your favorite. Note: this may seem a lot like the Villains of Bionicle topic, but this one is Makuta exclusive.
  14. So, I've made this topic to discuss the Golden Skinned Being, and primarily why Teridax decided to implement the idea of his creation into the group of Skakdi? I mean isn't this thing like extremely OP? Why would you want this independent being running loose in your universe? Anyway, I'd ask Greg, but i don't want to be a hypocrite hence I'll consult you people before. Plus, I'm not sure if Greg would quite remember the details of what I'm talking about. :/
  15. This is a pilot story. I want to make longer story later, but I want to make short version first, to see your reactions and suggestions. Sorry for grammar mistakes, I write stories only in czech, which I am really good in, but I don't know, if english will end so well... Setup: My story extends from moment when Vakama have created Kanohi Vahi - Mask of time. It shows, what could happen then. Vakama's Time Wave of protodermis hit the ship. "So what is your plan?" screamed Whenua on Vakama "Plan? Who needs plan?" replied Vakama "I hope you know what are you doing!" said Nuju. Me too, thought Vakama. Ship finally reached Teridax's island. "Stay here!" said Vakama. "No way!" said Whenua immediately, "We go with you!" "Who will save matorans then?" argued Vakama. "Vakama is right," Nuju said, "we don't have much time!" Vakama jumped out of ship. He used his Huna to become invisible and ran to the center of island. There was a large column of shadow, caused by Makuta. When he came, he hid behind a large stone and saw Teridax's back. "I was waiting for you Vakama" he said with darkness in his voice, "but I wasn't sure if you come. Unfortunatly, you are the one who holds the great mask of time." Vakama looked on Vahi in his left hand. He loaded his kanoka launcher. "Do you think that one silly Kanoka disc can end this all?" laughted Teridax. He flew high and landed behind Vakama's back. "I know what do you think of right now Vakama," said Teridax, "Huna was always my favorite mask. Do you know why? Some thought that Huna will hide them from my sight. Huna however don't hide your shadow. And I am the master of shadows!" he started to laugh. Vakama took Vahi and put it on. Vakama ran to center of the island. He saw shadow of first Vakama behind stone. I wasn't sure if you come, he heard in distance. He hid behind another stone. When Teridax landed next to first Vakama, he took a little stone and throwed him in distance. "You brought your friends!" laughed Teridax, "how sweet!" Both Vakama's put on their Vahi's. When first Vakama jumped of ship, third Vakama activated Huna and quietly hopped on. He get back to Metru with other Toa, without being seen. He get to his workshop and created what he tried only few times, before he became mask maker - a sword. He used his elemental powers to make it more powerful and put it into lava. He made his first sword. Most powerful in whole Metru. He took his Vahi and put it on. Vakama used Huna and jumped on ship. "So what is your plan?" screamed Whenua. "Plan? Who needs plan?" replied first Vakama. When he was jumping of ship, he nearly hit third Vakama, but he avoided him. He ran to center of the island. He was running 50 metres behind second Vakama. When both Vakama's disappeared, Teridax was very confused. Even darkness column was weaker than before. He came to Teridax's back preparing his elemental sword, but suddenly he turned and shouted: "Here you are! You cannot escape me now!" Teridax grabed Vakama's shoulders with his red eyes turning into darkest black. Black fog came out of his mouth. Another Vakama has appeared right behind Teridax with sword prepared. He stabbed his sword right between Teridax's wings. "AAAAAH!!!" screamed Teridax. Magma was flowing from place where sword penetrated Teridax's skin. It came out even from his eyes. Dark column in center of island has disappeared. "Thank you," said Vakama, which nearly died. "You welcome," said Vakama, which killed Teridax, "I bet you know what you have to do now." Vakama nodded and put his Vahi on. The End I hope it was at least little bit mind freaking and you didn't get lost in this story, because at some point it started to be confusing even for myself! Share your thoughts and please, tell me if it was interesting for you or if it was boring. Note: I know it created paradox on end, because if Vakama was killed, how could he travel in time to save himself? I'll explain that in another story.
  16. OK so we know about the Makuta's master plan. We know he needed to dispose of Mata Nui's spirit somehow and he chose to do that by putting it into the Kanohi Ignika and launching it into outer space. My question is: why the Ignika? It's the most powerful mask in the Matoran Universe. If I were overthrowing someone my first choices would be (a) kill him or (b) put him in a position where he has no power. There were like a million powerless Matoran Kanohi he could've put his spirit into, why did he choose the most powerful Kanohi of all, the one Kanohi that could create a new body and grant its allies Elemental Powers? And come to think of it, why did he put his spirit in a Kanohi at all, which can survive outer space? Why didn't he just put Mata Nui's spirit into Hafu, ejected Hafu into outer space (he did that anyway) and that would be the end of it: Mata Nui would be dead. BS01 states that the Makuta knew about the Ignika's power to obliterate all life in the Matoran Universe and wanted it gone for that reason, but that doesn't answer my question: the Makuta could have easily expelled both the Ignika and a hypothetical other host for the spirit of Mata Nui such as Hafu. That wouldn't solve the problem of having some sentient Kanohi out there with powers over life, but at least it would be controlled by the very immature Toa Ignika. Although the chances of Mata Nui coming back to fight the Makuta might have been small, it's like the Makuta was trying to run a risk here by giving the most powerful object in his universe the mind of the former most powerful being who he had now turned into his mortal enemy. So, why?
  17. Hello there, I am an amateur Drawer, Vuk-91. I have been a fan of Bionicle ever since the first years. Let this image be my introduction-card as well as a conception of "Yet another version" of Bionicle's main Villain, Makuta Teridax, as a Dragon. (In a similar fashion to Miserix just not made of lego of course X3) Not too detailed but I hope you like it. I had to use some reference for the wings.
  18. Here is a subject I've seen pop up a couple times in the various Bionicle 2015 topics, so I thought it would be good to make a poll out of it. Do you want Teridax to return in Bionicle 2015 as the main villain? If not, would you want another Makuta to be the main villain? And would want to see the Makuta species in Bionicle 2015? I say no to the first two questions. I believe Teridax's time in the storyline is over. He had a good run, but its time he stayed dead. I also wouldn't want to see another Makuta as the main villain, as I think it would be better to see a new threat in Bionicle 2015. As for the third question, I wouldn't mind seeing the Makuta return as a species, but not as the main villains. (Not at first, anyway.) I think that, if they were brought back, they could be built up in story a little bit instead of just thrown into it like in the Karda Nui storyline. These are my opinions on this, but I want to hear yours. What do you all say about this?
  19. This is probably my dumb question for the week, but how did Teridax off them all? Did he get all of the remaining Makuta into Karda Nui? I know that Teridax offed a bunch of them that sided with Miserix, and then Tobduk killed Tridax...but I only count 8 Makuta in Karda Nui in 2008. Out of 100 Makuta, you'd think that some of them wouldn't fit into the above categories (opposed the plan, ended up in KN).
  20. We know that Makuta Teridax is the main villain in the whole Bionicle story and is Mata Nui and the Toa's archenemy. Throughout the entire story, he made a plan that can at first put Mata Nui to sleep, so he can control his body and get rid of his spirit to take over the entire Matoran Universe. Later, he planned to use Mata Nui's body to conquer the entire Bionicle universe, starting with the planet of Bara Magna as his base of operations, shown in the book, Journey's End. However, when he started to invade it, Mata Nui, Gresh, Takanuva, and Tahu foiled his plan by killing him. Before Teridax died, he even threatened to destroy the entire planet, including everyone on it, with one shot instead of conquering it because Mata Nui interfered him. So, as the title says, above, do you guys think that Teridax could be one of the greatest and fictional villains ever? Well, for me, I think possibly so how he made his plans, the fact that he is powerful and ruthless, and he kills people, including his enemies, to accomplish his evil plans. He is also a very evil mastermind who leads a large group of powerful villains and other evil creatures. He plans very carefully, so he can always get his advantage and hardly get a disadvantage. Teridax is hard to be defeated by anyone, and he is a floating cloud in armor. He even used the Toa Nuva's attempt to reawaken Mata Nui as an advantage to take over Mata Nui's body once it's reactivated. He also can get more powerful as his first evil plan goes. Teridax also is a clever tyrant who wants to get rid of anyone who tries to stand on his way. He likes torturing people, too. Teridax also uses people to accomplish his evil plans. I think Teridax is the most evil villain in the entire Bionicle story and is pretty famous, too. So, I think that a fictional villain would be called one of the greatest and best in that way. I could also think of other fictional villains that are like Teridax in some ways, and these are: 1. The Joker 2. Loki from The Avengers movie 3. Lex Luthor 4. Plankton from the SpongeBob Squarepants Franchise at some points 5. Mojo Jojo from the Powerpuff Girls TV series 6. Him from The Powerpuff Girls TV series 7. Doctor Doom 8. The Red Skull 9. Vilgax from the Ben 10 franchise 10. The Green Goblin 11. Doctor Octopus 12. Venom from Marvel Comics 13. Carnage from Marvel Comics 14. Megatron 15. The Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise 16. Aku from the Samurai Jack TV series 17. Slade from the 2003 Teen Titans TV series 18. Magneto from the Marvel Comics 19. Von Nebula from the Hero Factory franchise (my guess is that Von Nebula could also be the mysterious villain who is behind the events in the Breakout and Brain Attack events) 20. Jafar from Disney 21. Captain Hook from Disney 22. Maleficant from Disney 23. Mumm-Ra from the ThunderCats TV franchise 24. Galactus from the Marvel Comics 25. Darth Vader 26. Darth Sidious from the Star Wars franchise Also so, what do you guys think of this? Do you guys agree with me?
  21. So all this talk of Nuva symbols got me on a question: Why did Artahka teleport the Nuva symbols to Mata Nui to begin with? Ostensibly, it's a totally insane idea to put the Toa's main power source in reach of the enemies that they are battling. I don't buy the range argument. The Nuva symbols worked just fine when the Toa Nuva were on Voya Nui and the symbols were left behind on Metru Nui. The connection between the symbols and the Toa even penetrated Karda Nui's shields! Artahka could have just left the symbols safely hidden away in a vault somewhere. Neither do I think that Artahka underestimated the Makuta as a threat - after all, previously they had raided his fortress and stole a bunch of his stuff. He definitely wouldn't put it past Teridax to steal the source of his enemies' power, or destroy it. Further, I also don't buy that Artahka teleported the symbols to test the Toa by having their powers stolen before they confronted the Rahkshi. How would Artahka know that Makuta Teridax was going to pull Rahkshi out of his hat, anyway? How would he know what Makuta Teridax was doing, and that the Toa that he made were unprepared to face the new threats coming their way? And therein lies the key. He didn't. Therefore, I theorize that Artahka teleported the symbols to Mata Nui in order to try to figure out what Teridax was doing on Mata Nui. Makuta had any number of ways that he could have destroyed the symbols, most notably the Rahkshi (one good blast from Guurahk should have cut it, right?). If Makuta wanted to destroy the Toa Nuva, he could have done so easily that way. So Artahka dangled the symbols under Makuta's mask - "Here's a way to destroy your enemies, quick and easy." Makuta was too smart to go for it. He went after the MoL, but he never touched the symbols, leaving Artahka to theorize that Makuta might have something more in mind than just defeating the Toa of Mata Nui. There's the theory: take it or destroy it.
  22. I'm going to try and revive this topic to the best of my ability. With that said... I'm most likely going to edit out the cross-over episodes with TSO's Ridiculous Mission. Sadly, I won't be able to bring that back, since the second part of the trilogy was deleted, thus making a hole in the series. So, here is the first episode unedited and left as it was since the day I first wrote it. Now then, I'm going to keep all the first GS and PGS characters, but due to the harassment I got back in the day I won't be accepting new ones, so don't ask me. Now onto the comedy.Well ,here it is. I've always been wanting to feature Makuta Teridax in his own show instead of having him as a guest character on Ask Roodaka and Vezon Tv. First, some short descriptions of the characters.Teridax: Bold, arrogant, lazy leader of the Brotherhood of MakutaIcarax: A smash-a-holic, a lover of torture, and secret Cascada addict.Mutran: The world's dumbest smart guy.Gorast: An angry Makuta with a crush on Teridax and pure hatred of Mutran and almost everything else.Krika: A Makuta who's always got something wrong with him.Bitil: A depressed Makuta who doesn't do too much of anything.Antroz: Bossy and selfish creep.Chirox: Bumbling scientist.Atheron: Intelligent and cautious.Norenka: Dim and not all that careful.Vamprah: The never-speaking Makuta that speaks only through emoticons.Episode 1: Bionicle All-Stars Melee*somewhere on the island of Destral…*Teridax: Okay, so I’m going to take role now to make sure everyone is here. Antroz?Antroz: Yeah.Teridax: Chirox?Chirox: I’m here.Teridax: Bitil?Bitil: I’m bored.Teridax: Gorast.Gorast: I hate all of you… but not you, my lord… Teridax: Yeah, whatever. Mutran?Mutran: Right here.Teridax: Of course you are… (to himself) you psychotic nutcase. (aloud) Krika?Krika, flying around: I’m a fairy princess!!!Teridax: Let me guess, he got some of that virus on him again?Antroz: Yup, and he thinks he’s some fairy.Chirox: I just wish he’d keep quiet. Hey, tinkerbell! Let’s chit-chat!Krika: I’m a pretty girl!!Teridax: If play time is over, let me continue!! Atheron, Norenka, Icarax?Norenka: Here.Atheron: Same here.Icarax: I’m here, boss.Teridax: Vamprah?Vamprah: Teridax: Okay, we’re all here. Now let us get to business. Any old business?Mutran: I still can’t find the remote! No one’s helping me look!Gorast: Be quiet, you Chirox rip-off! Mutran: Don’t insult me! I’m not the one that looks like a Visorak on steroids! *Gorast starts attacking him.*Gorast: Say that one more time! Just say that again. I love comments on by beauty!Mutran: You’re a supped-up Visorak… *Gorast knocks him out cold.* Gorast: That’ll teach you, you green and black head ache.Teridax: Thank you for that, Gorast. He was getting on my nerves. Can we continue?Bitil: Krika’s getting on my last nerve. We need to do something about him.Chirox: Food for my Rahi. Just feed him to my Rahi.Teridax: No, we can’t do that. That’ll make one less Makuta on the Brotherhood. There’s only 11 of us here. There’ll be less if we get rid of him.Icarax: How about we torture him?!Teridax: Good idea! But how do we do that?Icarax: I dunno. I can beat him up! Or… I can lock him up and then beat him up! No, wait! Dress him like a little girl, then I lock him up, and then I beat him up! Or better yet, I’ll dress him up like a little girl, then I lock him up, and then I beat him up at a Cascada concert and hope no one calls the cops!Chirox: I like the last one.Vamprah: Norenka: So do I. Go do that one, Icarax!Gorast: I’m also for it. (thinking) Oh, why can’t Icarax take me with him?!Atheron: By why one of her concerts?Icarax: Because.Teridax: Okay, fine, Icarax, go do your thing. Icarax: Yay! I get to see Natalie perform live! Um, I mean, I get to beat something up! Gorast, come with me. Um… I might need some help beating the Antidermis out of this weirdo! *he grabs Krika and run out the door.*Gorast: *she gleefully runs out the door to join him.*Vamprah: Teridax: Okay, that was weird. Anything else?Bitil: Should we worry about those Toa Nuva guys and that Takanuva creep?Teridax: Nah, I don’t think so. People stopped caring about them years ago.Norenka: But… no, they haven’t.Teridax: Silence! Atheron: Stop yelling at her!Teridax: Stop yelling at me!Norenka + Atheron: Stop yelling at us!Teridax: I said silence!Chirox: Yeah, but seriously, those guys are annoying. We should do something about them. Teridax: Yeah, we could do something about them, but I’m just too lazy to. Just have Icarax do something about them. I can just have him beat them up while letting him listen to Cascada. That’ll keep him busy for hours. It’ll also keep him from prank calling me 30 times a day. *Umbrella ringtone.*Atheron: Your phone’s ringing.Teridax: Yes, I know, but it might be Icarax.Norenka: What if it isn’t? It could be Roodaka…Teridax: I’m answering the phone! *answers phone.* Hello? What do you mean I look like a rusted piece of scrap metal? No, I don’t want a happy meal! Icarax, get off the phone!Icarax, on phone: How do you know it’s me?Teridax: I can recognize your voice, Gorast is cheering in the back ground, and I can recognize Natalie Horler’s voice anywhere. Icarax: Um… oh, no! *smashes his phone.*Teridax: *sighs.* Why do I have to work with so many moronic Makuta. Why, Mata Nui?Mata Nui’s voice: Because I don’t like you.Teridax: Hey, you’re supposed to be asleep! *loud snoring.* That’s better.
  23. "And out of Nothing, you came. And it is into Nothing that you will go". I remember how scary Makuta looked the first time I saw him, at the end of the MNOG, when I was a child. His speech, the words he used... and then BAM, those tubes and the vortex made of pieces of other Toas (even if technically it's not canon), and Mangaia was so claustrophobic, and that music...When I made this drawing I wanted to represent, more than Makuta himself, the impression I got the first time I saw him. [Click the thumbnail] I wanted him to look somehow disturbing, everything around the mask had to be chaotical and swirling while the Hau itself should remind some kind of idol. The point of view is the one of a Toa, so you see him from the bottom upwards (Google Translate don't fail me). The original music should complete it quite well This isn't exactly "my style", it was some kind of experiment. It was fun to draw though (colouring was a little less fun; I can upload the blank version if asked). Hope you like it, and in some way scares you. Feel free to leave a comment, tell me what you think
  24. Hello, I am Makuta Trydeltix, the Makuta assigned to watch over and protect the southern region, the island Occidus. Occidus is a very secluded location in the Matoran Universe, and it is in its most southern point. It is an oddity in the universe, as it is home to an abundance of tropical flora. It is a beautiful place. An island paradise. The Matoran of Occidus, a combination of Ta, Bo, De, Su, and Vo Matoran, always liked to keep to themselves, and I found myself wanting to do the same. What more could we need? We had everything we could ever want on Occidus. There was no need to communicate with the rest of the universe. After tens of thousands of years with no contact with any beings outside our home, most of the inhabitants of our universe have forgotten about the island's very existence, and myself along with it. I had no friends in the Brotherhood of Makuta, since I found most of them to have simply toxic personalities. They too, eventually forgot about me. With all my connections to the outer world severed, I had the opportunity to break away from the Brotherhood after Teridax's revolt against the Great Spirit Mata Nui unnoticed. To ensure that they would never find me, I destroyed all their records of mine or Occidus' existence. I was finally free from the tyrannical leadership of Teridax, and free to lead my people in peace and harmony. I never thought Teridax would succeed in his plans to wrest power away from Mata Nui, but in the end, shadows prevailed, and Teridax fulfilled his evil plan. The Great Cataclysm struck Occidus hard, and many lives were lost, and cities destroyed. I survived, though, and pledged to lead my people through the darkness and hardships ahead. We rebuilt our tropical island back into the paradise it once was, and we continued to thrive. We watched our Universe die, and be saved by a great and noble heroes, and we watched lived through its final destruction, and the long overdue death of Teridax. In a mass exodus of the universe we had lived in for as long as we could remember, we emerged onto a place more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and even though we had never seen it before, it was immediately our new home. The three was once more one, and Mata Nui had blessed the reformed world with beauty and hospitality. Against all odds, my people and I had slipped away from the darkness, and we would be ever thankful to the Great Spirit for that. With a final goodbye and look back upon our old home, its corpse sprawled out on the land behind, we embraced our new home and our new life on the world of Spherus Magna.
