So I decided to remake Dume and Nivawk for BBC 69. I wanted both of these to have action functions in the spirit of the 2015 Bionicle sets. Dume features moving arms using the new gearbox part and Nivawk's wings can open and close similar to the original set! Here is a demonstration of the wing function. When the knob is turned the linkage opens and closes the wings!

Glad to see Bionicle is back. I took apart my entire g2 collection with the goal of making some sort of combiner and this is what I came up with. However, I had to use 6 pieces that weren't from those sets, notably the t-connectors attaching the thumbs to the hero factory fists. It's essentially a toa base in terms of using the ccbs torso and gearbox to fit the theme of this contest. I'm satisfied with the result considering my parts restriction and this being my first go with ccbs parts, and my first moc in a really long time. Entry pic Front Gallery (when public)

Gresh, Guardian of Jungles You can find the rest of the photos here: This is the very first Bionicle moc I've made and posted on a website, so I'm pretty excited! I will say, I'm kinda a cheapskate, I don't buy pieces off of Bricklink, so I had to work with what I had, which is why I have those red ball joints on the feet. The other CCBS build in there is mainly for scale, and demos. Comments and criticism are appreciated. Enjoy the pictures, and good luck to the participants! Sorry, I'm not sure how to shrink it, yet, this is the first time I've used this website. I'll try to shrink it once I have it uploaded, if that is ok for the contest. I'm also not sure why the title is in a code-box.

Entry Image I wanted to do something that just couldn't be done, or at least not done well, without CCBS parts. I decided to go for a Matoran because the smaller CCBS limbs give a lot more flexibility on such a small scale. He's actually about 2 modules shorter than a protector.

Mata Nui, Master of Life Well, here's the first MOC I've posted online. When I heard about the new contest, I tried to figure out what character I could make out of my limited supply of Bionicle 2015 pieces (Tahu, Gali, and the Protector of Jungle). While there's more I would have liked to do with it, I'm still pretty happy with the results. I hope you like it. This is a CCBS Remake of the the classic 2003 Makuta set. When designing him, the breakthrough was the shoulder design. I was able to use two torso armors and a shoulder armor on a tiny torso to make the shoulders resemble the armor on the original set. The full gallery can be found here. Comments are appreciated!

"Toa. You are an anachronism -- pure and noble heroes, still striving for right in a universe of chaos, unwilling to admit that your day is long over." - Zaktan, BIONICLE Legends 1: Island of Doom [ http://i.imgur.com/rHpXJJC.jpg ] Entry Pic Gallery Zaktan merited more focus in the plot of G1 BIONICLE; like, I think he should have been a major player in the Mahri Nui and Karda Nui plots. His position is engaging and interesting, since most other antagonists in the setting are smug supervillains. I like a villain that works about as hard as (if not harder than) the heroes. Here's to seeing him again in G2, sometime! Perhaps in search for the Mask of Ultimate Power. Must say, dark green and sand green CCBS parts are not easy to come by. I was tempted to hunt down some two-year-old Legend of Chima sets for the dark green armor plates, but I wouldn't get them before the contest deadline anyways. I also thought about using Ben 10 claw hands, which were rather fitting. But the dude needed some more dark green and the ability to hold his signature three-blade scissor and zamor launcher. Hope you guys like it! Edit: Image linked; please keep posted images in BBC to 640x640 px and 100 kB. -Wind-
