Andean Quipu Recreation of a Quipu, the traditional knot-based recording system used by some Andean civilizations. In this recording system, each knot represents a number, a letter or a piece of information: a single string can be used to form a complete number, a word or anything you want to keep. In addition to the knots, the color used to paint the strings was also used to record other information. 16/04/2024

I've figured it out.
Akaku: Master of Flight posted a blog entry in The Blog which may or may not exist.
Image Link So due to popular demand (and by popular demand I mean by like three people) Terrible comics will be returning soon, so stay tuned Also, I did another page of Legends of Taladi Nui, you can see it over here! That's about all for now. Oh, also, never mentioned it here before, but I make scale WW2 models from time to time, there's a bunch I'm probably going to finish soon. Anyone interested in seeing them? --Akaku: Master of Flight- 3 comments

Recently, @Vahkiti on Twitter posted the 3d models for Bionicle: Legend of Mata Nui. I decided to take the liberty to convert those to .stl files and post them on Thingiverse for ya. I uploaded all six toa (4 without masks), all the in game kanohi, the Toa Kaita, The Chronicler, tohunga without mask, all the ingame rahi, and the elemental bosses in the game (which are... very interesting looking). Additionally, I did the same for the Bionicle: The Game models and a life size fan Bionicle mask/armor cosplay by PunkDrunk-182. I'm particularly excited about the Rahi's because there's a number that I've never heard of and some unnamed rahi. You can see the models here: https://www.thingiverse.com/Clyce/designs I recommend adding custom supports and 10-20% infill. Let me know if you have any problems printing any of them. I've printed Gali and tahu this far without problems. Enjoy'!

A friend and I are working on a 3D remastered version of the original MNOG (Mata Nui Online Game). We both have experience in modeling, however the complex pieces offered by Bionicle make for excruciatingly slow progress. If others wish to help out, we are searching for any extra models people may have created (all contributors will be included in final credits).Thanks,-Matt5327One example of an unfinished work:

Usually I build a set and take it apart a few days later for the pieces. And while the Milano has plenty of great pieces I want to use, I decided to spare it for a while and show it off. While usually any sets I decide to keep around are displayed on my shelf, the Milano is pretty big. Luckily I've got this plant hook in my ceiling to take advantage of! I've hung stuff before at the LEGO Store displays I've done, so I knew fishing line would work and the best way to coordinate it. Looks good! -CF

Most people seem to have forgotten the once-popular time-wasting activity of plastic model kit construction. My dad used to build them constantly back in the day, and he passed on the hobby to me over the years. I'e been doing it since I was 5, but obviously not with good results. I mostly like to do various spacecraft (usually from Star Trek), but I've also got some planes and cars done/waiting to be started. Just felt like having an entry dedicated to it, and to put some of my work on here; it's one place I've never really thought to post models. NSEA Protector (Galaxy Quest) (Most Recent; still needs decals) Romulan Bird Of Prey (Star Trek: TOS) Scale Collection of all Enterprise ships (except NX-01) USS Kongo (Star Trek: TOS style) with really badly done ISS Exeter USS Enterprise B (Star Trek VII)(First one I did on my own) 1953 Chevy Coupe WIP: Saladin Class Kitbash (burnt for fun) USS Excelsior (with USS Enterprise D) USS Enterprise A (With TOS of the same scale made by my dad) I still have a Piper bush plane, a Spitfire, a Stealth fighter, and the Jupiter II from Lost In Space that I've not yet started aswell.

Well I've been making mocs since I got my first bioncle set and to tell the truth most of mine are pretty bad, using prefab parts, and gimics to make bodies and those sorts of things, like toa feet for a body, of some other sort of gimic that allows me to do almost no work at all on the bodies. Well no more. Recently I've contructed a Toa of Gravity thats fully articulated, fingers and all, and uses no gimics; he was also built useing the 'frame' style I read about in the moc tips topic. For those who don't know the frame style is when you build a skeleton of sorts thats looks like a piece of shoot then add on slight pieces that stream line the body into an actually good looking body/arms/legs. Anyway my toa also includes a custom made mask, by me, by custom I don't mean a mask in the shape of another mask I mean a full fledged combo of multiple pieces that fit onto a toa head mask. Any way look for this guy soon in the BBC section. ~BD
