Hi, guys! Since Bionicle G2 ended abruptly and rudely in 2016, there is no constraction replacement with an original story by Lego now (Not like how Hero Factory replaced Bionicle G1 in 2010). Let's talk about the history of constraction. The first constraction theme is Slizers/Throwbots in 1999-2000, and it has elements from a Lego theme called Technic. It was replaced by the second constraction theme called RoboRiders in 2000. This theme also ended in the same year. These dudes lasted shortly, and they barely have stories. RoboRiders is replaced by the very theme that we and love, Bionicle G1 in 2001-2010. This one is the most successful and famous of the constraction themes, and it has an epic story. The theme got a lot of media, including four direct-to-video movies, chapter books, comics, online serials, video games, and online games. There's also music videos promoting the theme's certain storylines. The building system in Bionicle changed over time to become better. Sadly, this theme ended in 2010 probably because Lego had money problems in 2010, and its story hasn't ended as it stopped in 2011. It then got replaced by Hero Factory in the same year. Like Bionicle, it has a story and is successful, but it is second most successful of the constraction theme and has the second best story in the constraction themes. The theme has a TV show with 22-minute episodes, online and app games, chapter books, and comics. It also introduced the Character and Creature Building System, or CCBS for short, in 2011. HF ended in 2014 probably because Bionicle came back as a reboot called G2 in 2015. HF had waning successfulness for some reason, anyway. Also like Bionicle G1, HF's story hasn't ended, sadly. As for Bionicle G2, it had online animated videos that tell the main story, chapter books, graphic novels, and a Netflix show with 4 22-minute episodes. Sadly, Bionicle got cancelled again abruptly and rudely in 2016 for some reason (I mean, we just got it back). Well, G2's successfulness was declining, anyway. it's like the Amazing Spider-Man movie series in 2012-2014 all over again. The replacement for G2 never happened in 2017 or this year for some reason. Right now, there are Star Wars constraction still being made nowadays, even though there are a few sets each year. Of course, there are more Lego themes that are sort of like constraction, which are Galidor, Knights Kingdom, and Exo-Force, all in the 2000s. Lego Ben 10 was like that, too. When CCBS happened, many playset themes in the 2010s used it, and they are Super Heroes, Legends of Chima, and currently Star Wars. Ones before Star Wars lasted shortly. Plus, there are some other themes that are like constraction, but they are made of bricks, and these themes are Mixels in 2014-2016 and Nexo Knights' mech sets in 2017. To sum this up, I would say that constraction has been going on from 1999 to 2016 by original Lego themes (It's been like 17 years). It seems that constraction is failing this decade (might explain the Bionicle G1, G2, and Hero Factory's problems with waning successfulness.). Right now, people are interested in Ninjago (this decade's minifgure equivalent to Bionicle), Lego Super Heroes, Lego Movies, and Star Wars primarily. Boy, things aren't looking too good for constraction. The Lego constraction themes were keeping the category alive, but with no replacement, it's getting weaker. We don't even know when will the replacement come. Now, that's where we are going to talk about how would you like the replacement to be if it could happen. So, yeah, how would you guys like it to be? Well, for me, I have some ideas: 1. Something similar to Bionicle by using the building systems in 2001-2003 and 2006, and all figures should have bendable limbs. Don't make them look too weird or faulty designs on the joints (the Bionicle 2016 sets have this problem), and give the sets good color schemes. Also, their final designs shouldn't leave anything out (Bionicle's Caparar and Nuparu Mahri in 2007 have this problem by abandoning their weapons. You could look at Kongu Mahri because he never kept his main weapon, too.). Make all the sets equal in every way, like having all masks in many possibilities (Bionicle G2 and probably Hero Factory has this problem. Not every G2's Toa has a Skull foe to fight or mask to recover, specifically, for example.). 2. If either Bionicle G3, Hero Factory G2, or a completely new theme, it or they should have a good story, as good as Bionicle G1 or Ninjago, and if or they could use references about other original Lego constraction themes for fun. Or A theme that is a constraction equivalent to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where original Lego constraction themes, Bionicle, Hero Factory, Slizers/Throwbots, and RoboRiders, have a crossover by sharing the same universe and work together to fight evil Avengers-style. Either way, this theme should have humans and Planet Earth in there. If that crossover theme, it would be called "Lego Constraction Universe". Here are my ideas about that, too: - Phase 1: -- First year would be --- Winter - Bionicle - Toa Mata/Toa Masters as the main heroes who can keep their personalities and elemental powers from G1 (Lewa being a Toa of Air again). It's optional to have Pohatu having a Batman-like personality from G2 because I love it. Lol. The main villain would be any Bionicle villain, not a new one. At the end of that storyline, there would a foreshadowing thing that hints crossover. --- Summer - Hero Factory - The first six Heroes as the main characters and can keep their personalities from their G1, not like Invasion From Below (because they were just acting like Stormtroopers from Star Wars). Main villain would be Black Phantom. It would be cool if there are some Bionicle references and Easter Eggs in there, and would still do the same foreshadowing thing. -- Second Year: --- Winter - Slizers/Throwbots - Characters stay the same as their G1, but with an actual story and better character development. There would be references and Easter Eggs from the other themes. Again, foreshadowing thing happening. --- Summer - RoboRiders - Same as Slizers, but also with an identified villain. Again, there would be references and Easter Eggs from the other themes and the foreshadowing thing happening, but this thing hint an Avengers-equse crossover next year. -- Third Year. It would be like the Avengers movie in 2012, where the main heroes from the previous themes (at least Tahu from Bionicle, Preston Stormer from Hero Factory, good-hearted Slizer leader, and good-hearted RoboRider leader. They're all leaders.) working together and form a special team to stop Black Phantom from collecting magical cube-shaped objects, which the themes hinted in the past and found on the heroes' worlds and Planet Earth, to try to take over the whole universe. I picked Black Phantom to be the main villain because I would love to see him as a mix of Avengers' Loki and Steppenwolf from the Justice League movie in 2017 by wearing a horned helmet like those villains and being Hulk-from-Marvel-sized like Steppenwolf. BP would have new villains or minions (from other themes, and not completely new villains) to assist him. There would be six worlds that Black Phantom would travel to to search for the six cubes, one cube in each world, which are Spherus Magna and the Great Spirit Robot from Bionicle, Makuhero City from Hero Factory, the Slizers' world, the RoboRiders' world, and the Planet Earth. The cubes would either be either the Doom Box(es) from Hero Factory's first chapter book or not, and BP would use them for his evil plan to take over the universe. The heroes would have a boss to guide them, whether be a certain Turaga from Bionicle, Mr. Makuro from Hero Factory, or someone else. The heroes would have new looks, like the Toa being in their Toa Uniter forms. The Slizers and RoboRiders would also kind of act like Dinobots from Transformers to other heroes by being clumsily destructive. Lol. End of Phase 1 - Phase 2 -- Fourth year: Bionicle - The Toa Mata becoming Toa Nuva (but Tahu would stay that way in this story this time) and fight against a new villain. Heroes and villains from other themes would appear in there as cameos or with major appearances. This villain would smuggle and use technology from other themes and this one, too. Imagine the Piraka got some stuff from some Hero Factory villains, like Von Nebula or Black Phantom, for example? -- Fifth year: Hero Factory - The Heroes getting their 2.0 upgrade to fight against a new villain. Heroes and villains from other themes would appear in there as cameos with major appearances. This villains would smuggle and use technology from other themes and this one, too. Imagine Von Nebula's or Black Phantom's gangs of villains getting weapons from some Bionicle villains, like the Brotherhood of Makuta, and Vortixx's Xian weapons from Bionicle? Also, add New, Eco, and Rocka in there. -- Sixth year: Another crossover year - The team of heroes go fight against a villain, like Von Nebula, Makuta Teridax, or Velika from Bionicle. If Makuta Teridax, he would be like Ultron from Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2016 by infecting technology. Either of these bad guys would be this theme's equivalent to DC Comics' Darkseid and Marvel's Thanos by being one or two of the heroes' toughest and worst villains. The Toa would get Adaptive Armor from Bionicle, the Hero Factory Heroes would be in their Breakout looks, and the heroes would use each other's technologies to make themselves better in fighting than how they usually do. End of Phase 2 - Phase 3 -- Seventh year - Bionicle vs. Hero Factory - Someone evil made Toa and Hero Factory Heroes fight each other. It would be like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016 (but much better) and Captain America: Civil War in 2016. Imagine Tahu, Toa of Fire, and Stormer, Hero who use ice, fight each other like this, for example? Stormer would be like Batman while Tahu would be like Superman. The Heroes would use equipment that use the Toa's weaknesses to beat them while the Toa Nuva use Adaptive Armor and their smarts to counter the Heroes' attacks, even if the Heroes' technology is more advanced than the Toa's. -- Eighth year - Slizers vs. RoboRiders - Someone evil made those heroes fight each other. Same hero-vs.-hero scenario, but with these guys, instead. -- Ninth (maybe final) year - After the heroes got over their wars with each other, they had to fight against their greatest villainous foe, who would be either Von Nebula, Makuta Teridax, Velika, or someone else completely new and responsible for the theme's events just to do his master plan, which is to collect 1-7 magical artifacts that could allow him to take over the universe. It would be like DC Comics superheroes fighting Darkseid and Marvel superheroes fighting against Thanos, even in Avengers: Infinity War coming this year. That would be a big final battle. End of Phase 3 Maybe end of the whole theme because Bionicle G1 lasted for nine years, so I thought it would be okay for Lego to end the theme after this time. I pick the idea of the crossover because Lego is not doing well with making new franchises for the constraction category now (Look at Hero Factory's Invasion From Below and Bionicle G2), so I thought reusing old stuff would make something new out of them. Plus, people wouldn't say silly stuff, like "Stormer is my favorite Bionicle", which is not true about Stormer (a friend of mine once said that. Lol.). I would say that a shared universe like this would be a huge improvement for the old themes and probably the constraction category as a whole. It's called a renaissance. 3. A TV show with 10-13 22-minute episodes per season. No Netflix, and the show would be on Cartoon Network or Disney XD, and the primary source of story that shows character development greatly and better than other media. Make all characters in their sets equal to each other in every way in all media (Bionicle G2 and Hero Factory have this problem. Kopaka never had his mask stolen, specifically, for example). Don't make stuff in the story look confusing, not even to the sets, and don't make too silly. Just have a good amount of comedy and a super-great and dominant amount of action. Also, no unresolved stuff, rude cancellations, or rushing before the theme ends. Plus, a theatrical movie(s), which could be either a Lego Movie with positive reviews this time (unlike The Lego Ninjago Movie, which sort of disappointingly got mixed reviews) or a live-action or 3-D animated movie with human and the Planet Earth, similar to Transformers, but with constraction characters and always positive reviews, like the Avengers. Also, constraction-based Lego TT Games video games with positive reviews (and make every boss-looking antagonists bosses with boss meters, and make the game be open-world, like the Lego City Undercover, the Lego DC Comics games, and the the Lego Marvel games). Online games would include something similar to Bionicle's Mata Nui Online Games and Voya Nui Online Game. The chapter books, comics, and online serials would just be side stories or re-tell the stories from the TV show or movie(s). Do not make sets for characters that aren't too important in the story (Bionicle G1's 2007, 2008, and 2009 characters, like Lesovikk and Mazeka, sort of have problems with that, for examples. However, they can be shown in cameos if they aren't too important). Again, the TV show's great way of telling stories must apply to all of the other media. For the animation or whatever look on the constraction characters, there would be a mix of certain animation styles. They would have realistic parts of their bodies, like the first three Bionicle direct-to-video movies, looking very accurate to the sets, like Bionicle: The Legend Reborn, Hero Factory TV show, and Bionicle: Journey to One, but to the sets' final designs specifically rather than the prototypes (B:TLR and HF have this problem). Make them look 3-D animated, like all four Bionicle direct-to-video movies and HF, rather than looking 2-D-3-D mixed (like Iron Man: Armored Adventures and Transformers: Robots in Disguise in 2015. B:tJtO has this problem.). No drawing-like 2-D animation as the main animation style (Bionicle G2's online animations in 2015 have this problem). Nothing in the media or sets go missing, so everything should be there. Give the constraction characters pupils. Think of this as a Transformers: Prime animation style. For actors in TV shows, I prefer famous ones from Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, B:tLR, and/or HF TV show (Hero Factory's Invasion From Below episode and B:tJtO have actors that we don't know, and the Bionicle 2015 online animations only have one actor voicing everyone. Weird.). For actors in theatrical movies, use celebrities from the Lego Movies. 4. For the combiner models, give all sets a chance to be in a combiner in every way (Bionicle's Sidorak and Roodaka never combined, which is an example of a problem). All-members-in-a-group combiners should happen, like having all six Toa Mata combine into a Toa Nui, for example. Don't make combiners look too weird, and I would like them to be in the story somehow, like fusion of members of a team. 5. For terms of money, small sets should be $5-7, medium sets $10-12, and large sets at least $15-20 or more. Bionicle G2 has this money problem. Also, bring back the titan combiner sets (Bionicle G1's Takutanuva, Ultimate Dume, Voporak, and Vezon and Kardas are such sets). For the instruction manuals, make the pictures 3-D in at least the small and medium sets again, like Bionicle G1's early years. Also like those years, have manuals show instructions for the combiners again. It would be neat if the canisters are brought back. Don't make the small and medium sets too chunky by amounts of pieces (Bionicle G2 probably has this problem). So, yeah, that's all I can think of. This is an ideal thing for me, and I would like everything to be perfect. I know it's a lot of stuff that I said, but that would do. What about you guys' dream constraction themes, too?

For Coronet and Cancellation [slizer Mafia 3] The Slizers invaded Okoto. Seeking a way to turn back time and build a new future for themselves, they transformed a villager into a Skull Slizer who would be willing to use the Mask of Time for them, and a new timeline was built were the Slizer theme continued for many years. As the astral mutation experiments continued, it created eight Coronet Slizers to lead the eight regions of Slizer Planet—seven were created solely for this purpose, while the Skull Slizer was modified into the Judge Coronet. The Okotans invaded Slizer Planet. Hoping to save their world by destroying this ill-gained timeline, they slowly eradicated the force sent to eliminate them, all while gathering the information they needed to confirm the Judge Coronet’s original identity and find a way into their chamber. They appealed to the former villager in vain, and all but the Mask Maker were killed. The Judge Coronet had developed new plans, motivated both by their Coronet instinct to protect their people from all harm, and the Skull Slizer instinct to rip all enemies into shreds. They would obtain ultimate power…and any who opposed them would be killed. War has devastated Slizer Planet. Most of the population has been wiped out, and the Judge Coronet has killed the other Coronets save for one: the Ice Coronet. These two have met in the ruins of the Slizer Dome, where the last few surviving Generic Slizers live, to settle their battle once and for all. As the Ice Coronet seeks to save as many of the survivors as possible, they come to learn that there is something the Judge Coronet seeks to further their goal of carnage, and that if they can find it first, then perhaps they stand a chance of ending this tyranny once and for all. *** This game will be separated into Day and Night rounds each lasting 24 hours. During the Night rounds, special roles will decide on actions via PM, and then during the Day, all players vote, and whoever receives the most votes is killed. The Court of the Judge Coronet: First an Okotan, then an undead Skull Slizer, and now the immortal leader of the Slizer Dome, the Judge Coronet has set their sights on ultimate power to slaughter any and all who are not loyal to them. -Judge Coronet x1: Leader of the Slizer Dome and scourge of this dark future. The Judge Coronet’s identity will be known to all, but they cannot be killed under normal circumstances. Each night they will choose one player to protect. -Energy Slizer x1: A scout Slizer who has their doubts, but is determined to follow their orders regardless. Chooses one player to investigate each night, learning their role. If they are killed, then the Judge Coronet will learn the role of the player they protect. -Rock Slizer x1: A brutal Slizer who rather likes the Judge Coronet’s fascination with bloodshed. Chooses one player each night to bring before the Judge Coronet, and then kills them unless they are one of the Pivotal Roles. If they are killed, the Judge Coronet will give up their previous ability and take this matter into their own hands. The Court of the Ice Coronet: One of seven Coronet Slizers created from the ground up by the astral mutation program, and the only one who is still alive, the Ice Coronet hopes to slay the Judge Coronet and save as many of the remaining Slizers as possible. -Ice Coronet x1: Leader of the Ice Sector and the only one with a chance of defeating the Judge Coronet. The Ice Coronet’s identity will be known to all, but they cannot be killed under normal circumstances. Each night they will choose one player to protect. -City Slizer x1: The City Slizer of the original timeline, who has made it their goal to finish this terrible mistake once and for all. Chooses one player to investigate each night, learning their role. If they are killed, then the Ice Coronet will learn the role of the player they protect. -Sub Slizer x1: A hunter who seeks to avenge the death of the Sub Coronet by doing whatever they can to lead the Judge Coronet to oblivion. Chooses one player each night to bring before the Ice Coronet, who will remove them from the game unless they are one of the Pivotal Roles. If they are killed, the Ice Coronet will give up their previous ability and take this matter into their own hands. The Pivotal Roles: These two hold the key to victory in this war. The game ends when they have both been activated or killed. -Delta Slizer x1: A Slizer created by the astral mutation program. If one of the Coronets is able to find them, the Delta Slizer will join their Court and take over the duties of any attendant who has been slain. -Mask Maker x1: An Okotan who has been trapped on this world for a long time. If one of the Coronets is able to find them, they will join their Court and take over the duties any attendant who has been slain. All other players are Generic Slizers with no role ability. When both Pivotal Roles have been activated or killed, the game will end: -If one Coronet has found both Pivotal Roles, the other Coronet and their Court will be killed, and the Court with the Pivotal Roles and any remaining Generic Slizers will win. -If one Coronet has found one Pivotal Role and the other Pivotal Role is dead, the other Coronet and their Court will be killed, and the Court with the Pivotal Role and any remaining Generic Slizers will win. -If one Coronet has found the Delta Slizer while the other has found the Mask Maker, then the Coronet who activated a Pivotal Role last will kill the other Coronet and their Court, and they and whoever remains will win. -If both Pivotal Roles are killed, then the Coronets are both killed, and the other members of their Courts and any Generic Slizers who remain will win. Rules: -The laws of BZP are to be obeyed. -Roles are not be revealed. -Votes are not to be switched. -If you are a member of a Court, you are not to betray your Coronet. -If a role fails to respond before the established deadline, a target shall be chosen for them via RNG. Slizer Mafia 2: Okotans’ Revenge Having invaded Okoto, the Judge Slizer was able to use the Mask of Time to return to the year 2000 and create a future where the Slizer theme continued. For years now the theme has prospered, having millions of fans and drawing in massive profits, completely overshadowing every other smaller constraction line Lego has produced on the side and achieving a steadiness that ensures many more years of prosperity. But as the theme entered into 2015, a familiar distortion appeared in the sky over the Slizer Dome. Later that day, a Slizer official was found dead, holding in their hand a note written in the Okotan alphabet: “We will take our future back.” The Judge Slizer has been put in charge of finding and eliminating the Okotan invaders. The Slizer Dome has been placed in lockdown, successfully cornering the bionic fiends, but they have managed to infiltrate the task force and are working to dismantle it and leave with classified information about a certain individual. As their allies start to be picked off one by one, the Judge Slizer resorts to desperate measures… *** Welcome to Mafia! This game will be separated into Day and Night rounds each lasting 24 hours. During the Night rounds, special roles will decide on actions via PM, and then during the Day, all players vote on who they think is guilty, and whoever receives the most votes is executed. Okotans: These G2 elites have made their way to this alternate timeline to claim vengeance for the Slizers’ act of raiding Okoto. Win by eliminating all Slizers. -Ekimu the Mask Maker x1: A wise elder determined to take back what is rightfully theirs. Each night, Ekimu will order one of the other Okotans to kill someone. Ekimu cannot send the same person two nights in a row, and cannot be killed unless he is the last Okotan left alive. -Kulta the Skull Grinder x1: This creature’s dark powers were disrupted in the process of crossing timelines, limiting what they can do…for now. If they survive until Night 4, however, their powers will return, and they can revive one of the players they have killed as a Skull Slizer bound to the will of Ekimu. -Umarak the Hunter x1: An elemental being of Shadow who is one with the night itself. When Umarak kills someone, there is no suspect list. -Tahu the Uniter of Fire x1: Being the leader of the Toa, Tahu has some doubts about this mission, but if one of the other Okotans is killed he will realize that he has no choice but to take things seriously. At this point, Tahu will call Ikir to his aid and be able to kill two people when sent, though this produces a smaller suspect list. Slizers: A special task force assembled to eradicate the Okotans, they have now been compromised and must purge their ranks at any cost. Win by eliminating all Okotans. -Redshirt Slizer x 14: Generic soldiers who don’t do anything other than vote. -Judge Slizer x1: An elite official leading this task force. Their vote counts as 3 votes. -City Slizer x1: A speedy Slizer who can investigate one player each night to learn their role. -Spark Slizer x1: A medical officer who can protect one player each night, nullifying all attacks against them. They can also grant an electric shield to one player, giving them the ability to escape death once, but the Spark Slizer can only create ONE such shield. -Blaster Slizer x1: This aggressive gunner selects one player to kill each night, though their weapon is ineffective against other members of the task force. In light of this, no one will be executed as a result of a kill made by the Blaster Slizer. Neutral Roles: Civilians who were unable to get out before the lockdown went into effect. Win by surviving. -Music Slizer x1: This Slizer wants to be involved and will target someone every night, but their mood is entirely dependent on what song their iPod shuffles out. They might protect their target, they might kill them, they might prevent them from acting, they might learn what their role is. Music can take you anywhere. -Flare Slizer x1: A disturbed individual who was found enjoyment in this chaos. Every night they will target two players and launch a volley of fireballs as they fly over, randomly killing one and burying the other in rubble. If a player gets buried in rubble twice, they will die. -Hiker Mike x1: An unbelievably friendly individual and a master of negotiations. They can target one player and talk them out of making any rash decisions, stripping them of their role ability. This ability can only be used ONCE, and the player must explicitly activate it in their PM. If Ekimu is targeted, they will be killed and another Okotan will assume their authority; if another Okotan is targeted, they can no longer be sent to kill. Since targeting a Redshirt Slizer would accomplish nothing, if Hiker Mike targets one of them, this ability will not be used up and Hiker Mike can try again. Rules: 1. BZP rules, yo (follow them) 2. Due to the complicated nature of the project, I have decided to use voice actors for most of the characters instead of my sister and I doing them all. Some Background on this Universe: As some of you may know, on my channel, Surge is an ax-crazy, anti social idiot who loves electricity and has no regard for the safety of others, simply because he doesn't know he's endangering them. Also, characters from other constraction themes interact with each other, primarily the Toa Mata/Nuva and Alpha Team. To get more background on this universe, simply go to my YouTube Channel (link in bio). Most videos are simply done for fun, this will feature stopmotion and hand-free live action. Basic Plot In this film/special, Surge suddenly grows in size and power. Alpha Team attempts to stop him but fails, locking themselves underground to avoid Surge's detection. The Toa Mata, stranded on the planet, decide to stop Surge once and for all. **HOW TO APPLY** 1. Record yourself saying a quote from the character, or something you think they would say. 2. Send it to toabioniclefactory@gmail.com with the subject "BvsHF: AoA." 3. You can do multiple characters, just as long as it's hard to tell it's you for both. 4. If you are selected (and when the script is 100% complete), then i will send you a copy of it. **SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Halloween 2016** This is going to be a massive project for me, so I want to choose all the voice actors by Halloween so I can have all of the dialogue recorded by Thanksgiving. All Available Characters: The numbered list tells you what kind of voice you can do for that character. They are listed according to my personal preference for which one I would like the most. You can do any version or combination of versions, or submit your own version the way you think they would sound. For those who don't know, COTC is Chronicles of the Chronicler, a series by an old BioTuber. You should be able to find it without much issue. For the Toa's voices, I would recommend watching COTC 3 for Tahu and Pohatu (and Gali if you want). COTC 4 may be a better option for Tahu because he's more of a main character in that one. Tahu: 1. COTC 2. Toned down MoL 3. Toned down Heronexous/ CallanLoF's MATA Gali: MoL, your normal voice, or whatever you want. In this case, I don't care. Pohatu: 1. COTC 2. CallanLoF 3. Toned down MoL **Toa Kaita**: Fusions of the component Toa's voices. This will be done like the BIONICLE ANP did their Kaita voices. Baselines will be done by me, since I know how I want the lines to be said. Akamai’s baseline is Onua and Wairuha's baseline is Kopaka. Nex: Obvious Australian accent, just like the HF specials. Voltix: HF special Goons: All you have to do is various grunt noises (OOF, ow, etc), so you'll get the role no matter what, since I don't know how many I'll need.Electro/Energy (1999 Slizer/Throwbot): Based on the “I'm so stoked my dudes” meme. I may end up doing this one myself because it's so specific. **Keep in mind that other people will be trying out for for these roles and you are not guaranteed the part.**

Mafia: Slizers on Okoto Makuta had been banished to the Shadow Realm. The Toa had returned to the stars, having used up all their life points. Okoto was about to know prosperity once again. No one knows how or why the strange portal appeared in the sky, or just how many airships emerged from it. But everyone now knows the chaos brought upon the island by the strange beings known as Slizers, and that with the Temple of Time under their control, the Toa will not be coming to save anyone this time. The vastness of Okoto has proved advantageous, leaving the Slizers spread thin and one small village a relatively safe haven. However, one night, a Slizer ship moved over the village and fired something—a bolt of light that shot into the village and then disappeared without a trace. The next morning, a Slizer defector approached the village with crucial information: that the Slizer forces had set into motion some sort of experiment, and an elite group known as the Ultrarexes had infiltrated the village in the hopes of finding its results. With the airship hanging over them like a guillotine, the panicked villagers came to a decision. They would root out and eliminate the Ultrarexes…by any means necessary. *** Welcome to Mafia! This game will be separated into Day and Night rounds each lasting 24 hours. During the Night rounds, special roles will decide on actions via PM, and then during the Day, all players vote on who they think is guilty, and whoever receives the most votes is executed. Sounds like fun, right? Factions and Roles: Okotans: The normally peaceful villagers have been consumed by paranoia, and have taken to lynching each other in a desperate attempt to rid themselves of the Slizer menace. Win by killing all Ultrarexes. -Protector x1: The brave leader of the village. True to their title, the Protector can protect one player from death each night. -Villager x11: Normal villagers who do nothing aside from vote. However, intel from the City Slizer suggests that one of these individuals may not be what they seem… Ultrarexes: Hostile Slizers who have blended into the village population. Each night they will kill one player, and they win the game by killing all Okotans and Robotops (aside from the Fire Slizer). -Judge Slizer x1: The leader of the Ultrarexes, the Judge Slizer decides which subordinate to dispatch each night and who the target will be. They cannot be the one who goes to kill unless both the Rock and Jungle Slizers are dead, and if they do, there will be no suspect list. In the event of their death, another Ultrarex will be selected randomly to take their place. -Rock Slizer x1: A resilient warrior who bulldozes their targets with raw power. They possess a plasma shield that will protect them from death once. -Jungle Slizer x1: A silent assassin who eliminates their targets with elegant precision. If the Protector foils their attempt, they will retaliate with a poison dart that will prevent the Protector from acting the following night. -Energy Slizer x1: A scout who can weave in and out of the village without being detected. Each night the Energy Slizer can investigate one player to determine if they are the secret role, and if they are, the Ultrarexes will be told how to activate this role. Since they cannot kill, if the Energy Slizer is the final Ultrarex left alive, the game ends in victory for the Okotans and Robotops. -Altered Villager/Skull Slizer x1: The result of the Ultrarexes’ astral mutation experiment, this once-normal villager has returned to life as an undead creature who is extremely resistant to death…and extremely eager to tear into their former allies. Robotops: Though not a unified group, there is one thing these rogue Slizers have in common: they have all taken up arms against their own people in one form or another. The Sub, Ski, and City Slizers win by killing all Ultrarexes, and the Fire Slizer wins simply by surviving the game. -Sub Slizer x1: The only thing this outlaw Slizer wants is to put an end to the Ultrarexes’ mysterious experiment. Each night they will target one player, and if the target is an Ultrarex, they will kill them. -City Slizer x1: A defector who has chosen to aid the village in their fight for survival. Each night they will investigate one player to learn their role. The mystery role will appear to them as an ordinary Villager. -Ice Slizer: x1: A laid-back Slizer who wants to stop things from escalating if at all possible. Each night they will freeze one player, preventing them from acting. -Fire Slizer x1: A deformed Slizer gone mad with rage. Each night they will target two players, one of whom will be killed. Rules: 1. All BZP rules apply, obviously. 2. No vote switches. 3. No screenshots or role-revealing or leaking info to others or spilling the beans once you’re dead…just, you know, don’t spoil anything! D: We need at least 20 players to start. Sign-ups will be left open for 24 hours after that number is achieved in case anyone else wants to join in. Good luck! Scenes: Prologue: Enter Into Dusk Night 1: Signal of Inferno Day 1: Cast the First Stone Night 2: Extinguish Anonymity Day 2: Drown on Land Night 3: Interrogate Ember Day 3: Blaze Horizon Night 4: Route of Truth Day 4: Cold Without End Night 5: Wake the Dead End: The Clock Rewound Players: 1. xccj (Villager) Killed by Rock Slizer, Night 1 2421135. Okay, so I'm a pretty big fan of the Slizers - They were great, innovative little sets, which were full of character and colour, and they really opened the doors to the world of constraction like nothing else could. But sadly, the little disk-throwing dudes didn't really have much in the way of a backstory. Just what do we know about them and their universe, past their beachball planet and the supposedly mutagenic meteorite?

Good afternoon everybody! Ah, Slizers. One of Bionicle's two predecessors from the late 90s. A gaggle of diminutive, poseable robots who could throw disks and combine with each-other, on a world separated into 8 elementally themed factions. Certainly an interesting line, but sadly very short lived - two waves of toys, and it was gone. One other sad fact is that not much is known of the Slizers story. Many older fans have theorised as to the true story, and I'm sure countless kids have figured out their own stories for their Throwbots to engage in... But otherwise, the presence of story material for Slizers is indubitably scant. Now, I'm a quite the fan of the Slizers in regards to their design and concept, and have always wondered what a fully fledged Slizers story could look like. I always liked the idea that the Slizers were planted on the planet in an act of experimental panspermia, and the asteroid that came later on was simply a freak of nature that corrupted said scientific endeavour. So, I wanted to tell that story, but from a 1st person perspective. And this is where Tremor comes in. This humble little 'bot was to be the main focus of an adventure on the world of Slizeron, meeting 'bots both familiar and fresh, trying to discover his identity and place on this new, mysterious world, after crash-landing in a most unfortunate manner. I began writing Tremor's story a couple of years ago on my phone, only to leave it abandoned for quite some time. Eventually, I transferred it to my computer, and it now sits in my Google Drive. Since then, I have added two short chapters, and I intend to in future add more. To start your adventure with Tremor, click here. If I make further updates to the story (which I intend to), I shall notify you all in this thread. Thank you for your interest. Enjoy! If you'd like to leave feedback, the review thread can be found here.

So I was thinking about how Bionicle was probably being brought back (yeah, probably, I'm like, 99.99% sure) and I was wondering about what steps would be taken to improve it. As you know, Bionicle was a great theme but it suffered from some bad mistakes. But then I wondered, what if Bionicle isn't the #1 story to go back to? I remembered the theme that started it all: Throwbots (or Slizers). Throwbots was a really cool theme with a lot of potential. It could've been taken so many places if LEGO hadn't made the mistake of canceling it (though it did sorta eventually lead to Bionicle), for it was a really interesting concept. Look at it this way: One of best things about the Glatorians era (and for some, the only thing) was the idea of having gladiators fighting in arenas! It's a really cool and really smart idea. Throwbots has that, and that could be a really sweet edge to a really sweet story. Plus, they'd have elemental powers making them even more exciting! Having a theme that centers around beings with really sweet powers fighting in arenas is really good, story-wise, and marketing-wise. Imagine what stories you could have with a theme like that! You could input serious social issues and ideas into it to make it really rich, such as slavery and war. After all, the Slizers' world is a split one. They didn't live so much in harmony as the matoran did (to my knowledge, I'm no Throwbots expert). You could eventually have a year where there is rebellion and such, to really amp up the story, kinda like the Hunger Games! And imagine how good it is for marketing! There could be so much collectibles for kids to get their greasy little hands on, and as we all know people love factions, tribes, anything where they can pick and choose to become a part of! The Throwbots world is perfectly set for this and you can make your own Gladiator! The sets would probably have some extra functions again (for things like throwing disks and actual fighting) and maybe even an arena set, kinda like the Ninjago Spinjitzu ones! Throwbots/Slizers is like gold, because it is an open and familiar world that any fans can love and become accustomed to. So do you agree? Should we get a reboot of Throwbots/Slizers? Are there any other ideas you'd like to add onto mine, or is there anything you'd like to change? I'm open for discussion!

I know there used to be one, but it appears to have been deleted by now, so I figured it couldn't hurt to create a new hub for discussion and fanworks.

what do you think? what if the slizers or throwbots had their own show? or even a movie? what kind of things would you like to see? personally I would like to see the monsters/elementals fighting the slizers. and since there wasn't much of a storyline the possibilities could be endless. heres one take on the idea the year is 2012 the planet is earthno monsters and mechanoids just us, (this is the story of what happened before everything became slizery) a "metoer" crashed to earth in trevor thunders backyard! the meteor was actually an electric disk. 8 meteors crashed in all! trevor goes to the neighborhood artifact dealer (micheal sinister) they find out that similar things have landed is the past. theese disks did not have powers but viruses that take control of things. so the series entails young trev and his friends (the other slizers) how they go and get artifacts to power up their disks. im not sure if its allowed (but if it is just tell me and i will remove this part) but if you like post your short idea of what you think it should be

HOWDY! its me posting something on bzp and all i can say that its pretty epic!So I'm writing a new story about the SLIZER/THROWBOTS series so ignore the bad grammar.the year is 2012the planet is earthbefore all the monsters and mechanoids, was us,humans. Everything was you know earthy and humany.that is untill a "metoer" crashed to earth in trevor thunders backyard!to make things short, the meteor was an electric disk.Young trev trying to make sense of it goes to the neighborhood artifact dealer (micheal sinister) they find out that similar things have landed is the past (turns out theese disks did not have powers but viruses that take control of animate and inamiate objects).after a few adventures, Trev get a mysterious call from Micheal, and he needs to get his friend out of a quarantined area effected by the virus, they manage to sneak in fight some infected zombiods! but then micheal gets captured! by the F.B.I they question him! He escapes! but before he leaves he steals some info from their computors and discovers a terrible secret!this is just a synopsis of the series. i would very much appreciate ideas so tell me what you think of that summary!-Electro
