After seeing the Golden Skull Grinder mask. I knew I had to have it. Once I obtained it I decided to make a moc with it. I chose to build an interpretation of Mesonak from TTV as I heard he wanted to use one along with Chi Sir Fangar's cape. I also wanted to use Vladek's dark red sword so I went with the Knight motive. Has anyone heard any more about the "half-Vahi" theory? TTV talks about it here on their podcast. Basically, some LEGO guy apparently said the original Vahi was only half of a mask, and implied that maybe the Okoto people have the other half? Is this theory canon, or at the very least, not disproven? Is it still possible? or has Lego put more info forward that gives a new perspective on the G1 Vahi, and the G2 Mask of Time?

Hello everybody, it's that time of year again... time for the annual MakutaFest live event! For those that aren't aware, this will be the fifth year of MakutaFest! It's a live collaboration podcast between The TTV Podcast and the BS01 Wiki. At this event, we feature prize giveaways, interesting BIONICLE discussion (especially this year, for obvious reasons), trivia questions, and Q&A with the podcast hosts! You should definitely come check it out; I've got a feeling this year will be one of our best yet. MakutaFest 2014 will be held on July 20th (TOMORROW) at 2:30 P.M Pacific, 3:30 Mountain, 4:30 Central, 5:30 Eastern! These prizes can be won by answering BIONICLE-related trivia questions in the stream chat. -CALLING IN- In order to prevent the extremely dragged out Q&A segment from last year, we handled call-ins a bit different this year; fans were tasked with answering BS01 and TTV trivia questions a week in advance or so to determine who would qualify! 50th episode went pretty great. Obviously not a huge crowd, but the stream overall worked well like we hoped it would. Probably not going to be a regular occurrence for us, but it's an option for the future. -Mesonak

Well, just got finished recording MakutaFest 2012. That was a blast. It went very well, which is good considering all the difficulties we had this year. There were a few problems along the way, as is the case every year, but it all turned out well in the end. Thanks so much to everyone that came out for the event. You guys make it worthwhile; we're glad to hear that everybody enjoyed the show.
