This is my Titans Vs. Monsters FCG entry!

______________________________________________________________________________

Objective: Defeat the Makuta’s new weapons (monsters) and save BZ-Koro!

Genre: Action-Adventure/1st Person Shooter.

Controls: Arrow Keys: Move, Space bar: Jump, Shift key: shift from Melee to Ranged weapons, Enter/Return button: Shoot/Attack.

Player abilities range from different elements

· Fire: moves moderate speed. Controls the element Fire, has a higher endurance, weak against Water.

· Water: moves high speed. Controls the element Water, can swim, weak against Air.

· Air: moves high speed. Controls the element Air, has a higher agility, weak against Fire.

· Stone: moves slow speed. Controls the element Stone, has a higher strength, weak against Ice.

· Earth: moves slow speed. Controls the element Earth, can tunnel/dig, weak against Stone.

· Ice: move moderate speed. Controls the element Ice, can move stealthily, weak against Earth.

Statistics and abilities, along with their limitations (i.e. Endurance) are:

· Endurance: Gives you a longer lifespan, once you are out of endurance lives for the level, you cannot get them back!

· Swimming: Allows you to swim to evade attacks or find shortcuts, weapons, and masks, but you have an air limit of 5 minutes and can be killed by monsters that can also swim!

· Agility: Easier to dodge attacks and move, but you tire out easily if you move too quickly!

· Strength: Gives you stronger attacks, but if you use stronger attacks too frequently you will tire out!

· Tunneling/digging: Allows you to tunnel/dig to evade attacks or find shortcuts, weapons, and masks. But you can lose your way and get stuck or even killed by monsters that also tunnel!

· Stealth: Easier to evade enemies, but you will be slower and an easier target if you are spotted!

Elemental abilities and their limitations are:

· Fire: you can hurl fireballs if you are out of ammo. But you will tire out!

· Water: you can wield whips made of water if you are out of ammo. But you will tire out!

· Air: You can (1) fly and (2) fire gusts of wind if you are out of ammo (not in conjunction) [(2) if you are out of ammo]. But you will tire out!

· Stone: You can hurls rocks and boulders if you are out of ammo. But you will tire out!

· Earth: You can create sinkholes and earthquakes if you are out of ammo. But you will tire out!

· Ice: You can hurl icicles if you are out of ammo. But you will tire out!

The player can move in all four directions across the different parts of BZ-Koro, jump, and attack.

There are certain barriers that cannot be destroyed and passed. Such barriers are the boundaries.

The artistic style of the game would be 3D.

The story

-Intro

When Hapori Dume lost his last battle against the Toa, he was in outrage. He started planning and plotting for his final attempt at ultimate domination.

He experimented with the various Rahi, native and not-native, of BZ-Koro; making them larger, stronger, and deadlier.

If this plan failed, he decided that he would reduce all of BZ-Koro to rubble with a nova blast.

Hapori Dume then unleashed his creations upon BZ-Koro, creating massive chaos and destruction. The six original Toa had perished in the first battle, overwhelmed by the sheer strength of Hapori Dume’s new weapons.

But hope was not lost, the Great Spirit Hapori Tohu had found six unique Matoran in BZ-Koro. Matoran who would not back down from a fight, Matoran with free spirits who would never give into defeat.

Hapori Tohu then turned these six Matoran into noble and wise Toa, who would fight until the end.

-Chapter 1: The beginning

A Toa finds him/herself inside of a burning building and escapes while rescuing the Matoran that occupied it; he/she then becomes the target for one of the monsters on the loose in the city. The monster then attacks the Toa, but kills the Matoran instead. The Toa, in outrage, then advances upon the monster, using his/her weapons to bring it down.

Once the monster had been successfully killed, the Toa explores the area which he/she is in, finding various masks and weapons. He/she then reaches the destination that he/she had sought for: the now half-destroyed temple of Hapori Tohu.

The Toa discovers that he/she is not alone, but 5 others also are present. Hapori Tohu, or at least an image of him, appears in the middle of the room and tells the Toa their mission: to defeat Hapori Dume and his monsters. The Toa then organize where each of them will go.

Just as they are departing, a monster’s head, followed by its arms and legs, bursts through the wall, the Toa then engage it and subdue it.

-Chapter 2: Sub city of Air

You find yourself walking into a city dominated by cables and machinery, looking for a piece of the weapon required to win the battle. Many monsters are running about and you must subdue them.

Once you’ve subdued the monsters, you find what you were looking for, a component to the weapon that you need. But the quest is not over yet, what looks like a simple table is actually the head of a giant worm monster! You fight hardly and eventually win the battle by stabbing in through its eyes and claim the piece.

-Chapters 3-7 are basically the same as Chapter 2, but with different bosses and level layouts.

-EpilogueAfter a long battle that was well fought, the Toa eventually triumphed. But every triumph comes at a cost. In order to use the weapon, one must sacrifice him/herself. Before Hapori Dume unleashed his nova blast, the Toa of Fire from your team plunges the weapon into his chest, where his body absorbs it. He then grapples with Hapori Dume and blows himself up from within, taking Hapori Dume with him. But such a sacrifice was not so horrible; the bomb which brought the end of Hapori Dume and the Toa of Fire contained a chemical which would spread across the city and restore it.

-Miscellaneous things that don't go anywhere else

The game would have a multiplayer mode.

You can play free play levels.

You could design your character.

The masks and weapons consist of canon weapons and masks.

Umm, did you forget a link?

A link to what? I linked this in the Titans Vs. Monsters topic. If you think that this is a finished game, it is not. The contest only requires a detailed synopsis.

And do you mean by free levels do we need to buy levels?

Absolutely not! I meant free play as in you can play through the level again.

I'd like to ask, what happens when you tire out? it's mentioned a lot, but it's never explained what happens when you reach that point.

When you tire out, you basically can only walk at that point.

That isn't that much, I'd expect you'd have to get weaker, like your attack power gets halved, it's a bit stupid to avoid tiring out, while walking isn't that bad

I'm back!
