Transformers: Regeneration Discussion Topic

Recommended Posts

This is the topic for OOC discussion of Transformers: Regeneration. All profiles must be posted here for approval, and reference.

-Species:

Somewhat self-explanatory, these are the species available for playing at the launch of the game.

  • Cybertronians: The shape-changing robots from Cybertron, the Cybertronians have crashed on earth as a result of their millennia-long civil war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. As a Cybertronian character, the character has access to an approved alternate form and a robot chassis. The Cybertronian may also carry two approved weapon. To recognize that some Cybertronians have special abilities or multiple alternate modes, a player may have their character have a modification. However, a character with a modification requires two staff approval. If a player wishes to create a character with a Cybertronian alternate form, that player must message the staff, and gain approval from two of the staff member for that vehicle form.
  • Humans: The inhabitants of the planet earth, humans are organic carbon-based lifeforms with no special abilities. They are, however, very small, and dominate this planet. Individually, they can not face a Cybertronian and defeat one in battle, but where they lack in individual power, they make up in numbers, and an army of humans could easily take down a single Cybertronian. As a Human character, the character has somehow gotten themselves involved in the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons, and is now trying to live through the secret war raging across their planet. Sometimes the Cybertronians they become involved with might offer them protection, or enlist them to aid in human relations. There are also places humans can go where Cybertronians simply can't. Human's small size, and the fact that they dominate a good majority of the planet, allows a human to go practically everywhere that is important.

-Weapons:

The following is the list of approved Weapons for use in game. Since the world of transformers is large, and not all generic weapons are named, this list is used to help for the purpose of character creation. If you would like to add a weapon to this list, you may write a new weapon with your character’s profile.

List of Approved Weaponry:

  • Neutron Assault Rifle: The Neutron Assault Rifle distorts the equilibrium of its target by blasting it with sonic booms. Once disoriented, the attacker can close in with a melee attack.
  • Riot Cannon: Essentially a modified fusion cannon, it fires off high-speed rockets than can really put a crimp in someone's day. With the right upgrades, the last rocket in every clip packs an extra surprise, containing 5 times the explosive power of ordinary rounds.
  • Scatter Blaster: A popular short-range weapon during the Great War, the scatter blaster fires a wide spray of explosive buckshot. Surprisingly it is full auto.
  • Nucleon Charge Rifle: The Nucleon Charge Rifle is a great weapon for sniping. Equipped with a 10x scope and near unlimited range, a skilled wielder can take out a squad from afar before they even know what's happening.
  • The Path Blaster:The Path Blaster is a semi-automatic weapon that fires dense packets of molten metal with a good deal of accuracy.
  • Photon Burst Rifle: The Scientist's version of the sniper rifle is named the Photon Burst Rifle. It has a more effective zoom than the Battle Pistol and delivers three photons per round.
  • Subsonic Repeater: The Subsonic Repeater is a close-range SMG that grants great footspeed when equipped. It has a very high rate of fire, and thus remains the fastest firing weapon on Cybertron.
  • Thermo Rocket Cannon: The Thermo Rocket Cannon is the improved version of the thermo rocket launchers used earlier in the war. Now firing three missiles at a time, it can not only lock on to opponents in alternate mode like its predecessor, but also when they're in robot mode. Be prepared for it to make a big mess whenever it's fired.
  • X18 Scrapmaker: The X18 Scrapmaker is an even more ferocious weapon than the X12 Scrapmaker it superseded. Reducing the spin-up time dramatically, the X18 can make grated gears of the opposition in no time flat, which is also how fast it will chew through ammo.
  • Corrosive Slime Cannon: It's a double-barreled corrosive slime-shooter, which... well, shoots corrosive slime.
  • E.D.K. TechVolt: It projects an electro-diffraction beam that can carve an enemy to pieces in a blaze of lightning. On some settings, it can also be used to recharge or otherwise repower machinery and even other Transformers.
  • The Energon Harvester: A shotgun-like weapon that siphons energon from targets and utilizes that energon to repair its user. It fires a quick burst of moderately powerful rounds, best at close range, but the accuracy is pretty good for a shotgun.
  • The Gear shredder: The Gear Shredder is one of the technologically simpler weapons used on Cybertron. It fires out razor-sharp spinning blades that bounce off walls and will cut right through an enemy. It can be also charged up to fire three blades at once, letting you slice and dice the foe when they come at you in groups.
  • Plasma Cannon: It released bolts that could be charged to higher intensity levels. The Plasma Cannon was most effective against big, slow-moving targets, like hovering Soldiers.

-Modifications:

The following is a list of approved Modifications. Legendary Cybertronians such as Mirage, Hound, The Triple Changers, Soundwave, and more have been known to have special attributes to them. Any player who wishes to equip their character with Modifications, must have a staff approval. Players who wish to create a new Modification must check with the staff first before creating a character with them.

List of Approved Cybertronian Modifications:

  • Triple Changer: In their quest for ever-greater machines of war, the Decepticons developed warriors with two distinct alternate forms. These Triple Changers can travel by land and air with equal ease, and in the heat of battle they can rapidly change form to confuse and outflank the enemy. To counter this threat, the Autobots also developed their own group of Triple Changers. A player who is making a character with the Triple Changer Modification may have their Cybertronian possess two alternate modes instead of one. However, to accommodate the extra alternate mode, Triple Changers have less armor to make room for necessary parts to transform between the alternate modes. This lack of armor makes them easier to damage with weapons, to the point where a group of humans with heavy weaponry could take a Triple Changer down if they weren't careful.
  • Cloaking: Some Autobots and Decepticons, to further their stealth abilities, have installed or subjected themselves to experiments involving Cloaking technology. Those who survive this instillations and experiments have the ability to turn themselves invisible to the common optic sensor. However, a well-alert being has the ability to detect a Cybertronian using cloaking technology. They also appear on radar, infrared, and thermal sensors. Characters also cannot fire their weapons while Cloaking, and must De-Cloak to do so.

-Factions:

The multiple factions that have been formed in-game.

  • Autobot: The Autobots are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They usually find themselves defending both their own race and other species against the Decepticons and upholding justice and freedom throughout the galaxy.
  • Decepticon: The Decepticons are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They are typically concerned with such things as conquering Cybertron, defeating the Autobots, amassing large quantities of energon, developing powerful weaponry, and beating people up. Not necessarily in that order.
  • Governments of Earth: The Varous governing bodies of Earth. Differences in culture, religion, or state of mind have resulted in humans creating separate nations for themselves. They are unified through the United Nations, a group formed after World War II to help with foreign relations, as well as regulate Energon trade.

Varren's Profiles:

Name: TarnGender: MaleFaction: DecepticonAppearance: AppearanceAlternate Mode: Tarn can turn into a Merkava Mk3.Weapons: Carries both a Path Blaster, and a Riot Cannon on his right arm.Personality: Tarn is an eloquent Decepticon. He enjoys nothing more than playing beautiful music as he waxes poetic quoting "Towards Peace" and other philosophical works by Megatron. He tends to indulge these pleasures at the same time he's using his specially modulated vocal processor to cause the victim's spark to self-destruct. He is beyond zealous in his devotion to Megatron's cause, going so far as to emboss the Decepticon insignia onto his own faceplate. No traitor, no coward is capable of escaping his team.

But as with many leaders, the pressures of his job have led him to fall back on addiction. Developing an obsession with transformation, he changes form constantly, to the point where he burnt through his original transformation cog long ago. Now he uses either those of his victims or cogs acquired through less direct means to acquire replacements, feeding his addiction and ensuring he can continue putting the fear into those who would dare abandon the path of the Decepticons.Skills/Special Abilities: Decepticon Leader on Earth, Modulated Vocal Processor (allows him to speak on the same frequency as a victim's spark, causing it to self-destruct).Weakness: Outside of being destructible like any other Cybertronian, Tarn burns through T-Cogs quickly. Whenever he does this, he must find a replacement soon, or risk being stuck in his robot mode. His modulated vocal processor also requires a cool-down rate before use again, and also burns through Tarn's energon reserves.Bio: The former head of the Decepticon Justice Division, a group dedicated to hunting down any Decepticon traitors and deserters. They also were Megatron's most feared enforcers. Tarn, like all of the DJD, was given his name by Megatron himself after the first five cities the Decepticons conquered on Cybertron. Upon the exodus of Cybertron, Tarn's team had been disassembled as the resources that had supplied the DJD had been relocated to Megatron's army. Tarn had been leading a group of raiders against Cybertronian colonies at the time of the Exodus upon The Corsair. After returning to Cybertron to meet with Megatron's head-of-science Shockwave, Tarn learned of Megatron's departure, and failure to return any hails Shockwave had given out to The Nemesis. Determined to find his master, Tarn took his ship, The Corsair, and headed out towards the intended coordinates of Megatron's space bridge jump.

No Body-Jacking Space Pirate shenanigans this time:

Name: Wing Dagger

Species: Cybertronian

Gender: Male

Faction: Autobot

Appearance: Wing Dagger is a tall and lean Cybertronian. He stands at about 30 feet tall. His armor is primarily white and his arms, shoulders, and lower legs are covered are black. Wing Dagger’s head seems to be a modified version of the generic Autotrooper helmet. The visor is jet-black and two small antennas stick out from the side. Black detailing on the top of his helmet forms a pentagon just above his visor. His Autotrooper insignia is located in the center of his chest, surrounded by what was the plane canopy, now arranged into a small crest.

What were the rear engines form his lower legs. The cockpit of the A-10 flips down and splits apart to form Wing Dagger’s chest and the nose of the plan forms his arms. The wings detach and come together to form his hoverboard. The tail section folds up and becomes a compact backpack assembly.

Alternate Mode: A-10 Thunderbolt II

Weapons: Wing Dagger’s primary weapon is a pair of single-edged swords. Like most modern melee weaponry the energon cores within allow the blades’ edges to heat up in order to increase cutting power. His other weapon is a standard Path Blaster. Rather than being attached to his arm Wing Dagger stores a hand-held version on his hip.

In his Alternate Mode Wing Dagger is lightly armed despite being a gunship. A gatling gun is mounted on the underside of the nose of the plane. Two anti-aircraft missiles are mounted on his wings. Two chaff pounds are also mounted on the ends of each wing.

Personality: Wing Dagger is a very serious and straight-laced individual. He uses his facemask to hide his face and emotions from others. In battle, one can often observe Wing Dagger going for debilitating attacks rather than outright slaying his opponents. The young officer also questions his own abilities and often wonders whether or not he was fit to survive. Like most of his brethren Wing Dagger is protective of the human race. However, he feels it best to keep them out of the loop and thus objects to opening dialogues with them.

Skills/Special Abilities: Wing Dagger’s specialty is his swordsmanship. While he isn’t as proficient as other, seasoned practitioners Wing Dagger is still remarkably deadly with his swords. His previous role as an Autotrooper squad leader has also made him a strong field leader. Wing Dagger uses his hoverboard to quickly close distances between enemies and is his source of flight in robot mode.

Weakness: Wing Dagger’s marksmanship is less than average and can really only provide suppressing fire with his Path Blaster. Interestingly, he also seems rather unskilled at times when dual-wielding, often making novice mistakes and exposing himself during his strikes. He’s also very reliant on his hoverboard in combat. Separating him from it robs him of his speed advantage. It’s also his only source of flight in robot mode.

Bio: Wing Dagger was manufactured just before the Great War. He originally worked in the mines alongside another young Cybertronian named Padlock. The two knew nothing of society and worked endlessly in the mines. However, Wing Dagger’s fate soon changed when he was chosen to participate in an illegal gladiatorial ring organized by several Senators. Selected purely by chance, the miner faced a larger and stronger opponent. At first, the young Cybertronian was heavily outmatched and on the brink of death. However, someone in the audience decided to even the odds and throw a sword into the arena for him. Wing Dagger then discovered his affinity for blades and managed to defeat his opponent.

A Senator amused by this miner’s underdog victory had him pulled out of the mines and placed into the Autobot Military Academy. The Senator monitored his progress and planned to turn him into his own private soldier before his untimely end. Wing Dagger’s tenure at the academy was cut short when it was invaded by Decepticons and eventually lef a shelled out husk of its former glory. The Autobot Army quickly picked him up and assigned him to an Autotrooper squad. Within a few months the Ark and Nemesis were lost in space and Wing Dagger was reassigned to join the crew of The Distant Light, thus leaving his squad back on their dead planet.

Name: Steamhammer

Species: Cybertronian

Gender: Male

Faction: Decepticon

Appearance: Steamhammer is a bulky, heavily-armored Decepticon. He’s primarily yellow with purple detailing that denotes his faction. Insignias are located on both of his forearms. He’s mostly black under his armor and vehicle mode parts. His head closely resembles a human’s hardhat, alluding to his origins before joining the Decepticons. His silver face is usually covered by a grill-like facemask. There are two small bumps on the top of his shoulders and on the sides of his waist.

Steamhammer’s legs are mostly formed from the piling rig’s treads. The arms that held the pile driver transform into his arms in robot mode. The backsection and driver’s compartment form his upper torso.

Alternate Mode: Piling Rig

Weapons: Steamhammer has only used one weapon throughout his entire life as a Decepticon: his Pile Driver. The entire weapon is nearly as tall as the Decepticon himself. It’s extremely heavy and cumbersome to use. In melee, the Pile Driver can punch large holes into his enemies or simply be used as a club to smash. The Pile Driver can also be used as an artillery cannon to fire explosive shells at enemies.

Personality: Steamhammer is loud and friendly – even with Autobots. He’s proud to be a Decepticon and holds their original ideals in high regard. Steamhammer’s sense of justice was what originally attracted him to the Decepticon cause. He desires equality amongst all Cybertronians and an end to the inefficient Autobot-led government. The strangest thing about Steamhammer is his protective nature of the humans. Unlike other Decepticons this Constructicon is careful during combat and minimizes collateral damage. He sees himself as a “Hero of Justice” for them and thus tries to protect them as best as he can during their conquest of Earth.

Skills/Special Abilities: Steamhammer’s armor is incredibly thick and allows him soak up ammunition and physical blows. His constant usage of the Pile Driver and having to carry it around everywhere has also granted him extraordinary strength. Four hidden rockets on his body also allow him to charge forward at surprising speeds.

Weakness: This Decepticon is incredibly slow due to his heavy armor and frame. More unscrupulous Autobots can take advantage of his affinity for humanity by forcing him to make sacrificial actions in order to protect them. Steamhammer has to remain completely stationary when using the Pile Driver as a cannon and requires time to set up. He’s also less energon efficient due to his size and age.

Bio: Like most Decepticons, Steamhammer was originally a low caste worker. He worked in the mines for most of his life and was enraged by the decadence of the Upper Class. When the Decepticons were initially organized, Steamhammer was reluctant to join them in a violent revolt. He quickly changed his mind upon witnessing a Senator’s thugs oppressing and even executing some of his fellow miners. Steamhammer became and folk hero amongst Decepticons as he led an assault on the living quarters of several infamous Senators and took vengeance upon them.

The Decepticon initially fought on the frontlines before being his superiors assigned him to a safer position on The Corsair. They believed that his possible death would be large blow to morale – especially amongst the ex-miners and industrial workers. Upon arrival on Earth Steamhammer became attached to humanity. He felt obligated to aid and protect them due to their relative helplessness. Rumors circulate amongst Brazillians of “O Gigante da Amazônia”, a mysterious giant that rescues humans lost in the Amazon and saves villages from natural disasters.

Name: Gridlock

Species: Cybertronian

Gender: Male

Faction: Decepticon

Appearance: Gridlock is a tall Cybertronian clad in green and black armor. This Decepticon displays his insignia in the center of his chest. Gridlock keeps his faceguard up at all times and a black jawguard locks it into place. Vents are located on the top of his shoulders and on his chest armor, leftovers from his past as a low caste worker. His optics are dark red.

The cab of the HEMTT folds up into a backpack while the front tires become his shoulders. The fuel tanks each remain mounted on Gridlock’s hips as separate parts of his Neutron Assault Rifle.

Alternate Mode: Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck

Weapons: Gridlock’s ranged weapon is his Neutron Assault Rifle. However, he prefers using his old pickaxe and shovel as melee weapons. They’re easily replaceable but still manage to deal a horrifying amount of damage.

Personality: Gridlock is cold and indifferent to most of his Decepticon brethren. He believes that only way to achieve peace for Cybertronians is for the Decepticons to win this centuries long war. As such, he views the oppression of humans as means to an end and won’t hesitate to kill them to further the Decepticon cause.

Skills/Special Abilities: Gridlock’s only real “special ability” is his inability to feel pain. This stems from a defect in his protoform. As such, physical torture is completely ineffective against him. This also affects his fighting style and Gridlock will often risk losing a limb or taking what would be painful injuries to attack his opponent.

Weakness: Gridlock’s reckless fighting and inability to feel pain will often lead to the soldier taking more damage than anyone else. He’ll often be unable to feel any bullets or shrapnel still stuck in him and won’t realize the internal damage until he’s finally unable to function.

Bio: Originally, Gridlock was a simple miner named Padlock. When Wing Dagger was pulled from the mines he followed and also enrolled in same academy. Being a simple miner, Padlock knew nothing of the Senate and how society functioned. As such, the pair were forced to endure day after day of harassment from higher caste students. Padlock finally snapped and dropped out of the academy, fed up with this cruel reality. He left to find his own way of changing Cybertron while Wing Dagger believed he could change it internally.

The Decepticon cause initially didn’t appeal to Padlock. The miner joined up after seeing the might of the Decepticon cause. He saw their methods of destruction and direct action as the best way to change the world and joined up with them. He discarded his past as a miner and became Gridlock. The soldier served on The Corsair for several orbital cycles before their crash landing on Earth.

No.

Those profiles are abominations the likes of which would make Lovecraft himself sob, tortured, misshapen clumps of words held hostage and forced to form such horrendous combinations that they cry out at the revelation! How dare yo-Nah, they're fine. :P

All three have my seal of approval.

Welp, guess what guys?Autobot leader is done. Profile below.

Name: Star Saber
Species: Cybertronian
Gender: Male
Faction: Autobot
Appearance: When stories are told of Star Saber, he is portrayed as a giant of a mechanoid, towering above ally and foe alike. Which is why it is often such a shock when one encounters him. In his most basic form, the one the Autobot commander inhabits most often, he is in fact shorter than more sizeable Cybertronians. His armor is primarily blue with gray and red accents, and an Autobot insignia emblazoned proudly on his chest. His face is gray with a blue visor, covered by a blue helm. The hilt of a blade is just barely visible over his right shoulder.
However, the stories are not wrong. While Saber is most often seen in this form, it is not how he appears when he chooses to set foot onto the battlefield. The booster platform V-Star, most often used in his alternate form, forms an additional battle armored mode. In this form, Saber towers over all but the tallest Cybertronians, and has the armor and firepower to back up that appearance. His armor's primary color is red, with white and blue accents, and gold detailing upon his chest. His head is deep red with a silver faceplate and black antennae.
Alternate Mode: Saber's primary alternate mode is a gray and blue F-15E Strike Eagle. The deployment of weaponry in this form is, on the surface, identical to the Strike Eagle, despite its extraterrestrial origin. It is in this form that he blends in with human vehicles. However, for when increased speed or power is called for, the rear of this configuration fits into the V-Star, forming an aerial vehicle decidedly alien in origin.
Weapons: In his primary configuration, Saber's weaponry varies, but there are two constants; a well-maintained blade of unknown origin, sheathed across his back, and a rifle of significant power. While the fire speed is low, it doesn't bother him much; If he has to fire it twice, he's already at a disadvantage.
But his greatest weapon is one rarely seen, let alone used; the V-Star. The product of decades of work by the Kimia Research Facility, the V-Star is the final result of Project Master. In its default configuration, it appears to be a booster platform. Capable of flight on its own, it can be summoned to the battlefield by a single command, though the amount of time it takes to arrive varies. When docked with Saber, it grants increased speed and power in the form of twin cannons mounted on either side of Saber's main body. Saber's Strike Eagle alternate form is equipped with two air-to-air missiles and two air-to-ground that, while identical in appearance and similar in function to Earth weapons, are augmented by Cybertronian tracking systems and weapon payloads. A single gatling cannon is mounted on board.
In his armored form, Star Saber retains the cannons from his vehicular form, though they have migrated to his shoulders. He wields an upgraded form of his rifle, increasing its rate of fire to a formidable level. But the greatest weapon in his arsenal is his blade. On sight, it is apparent that the smaller blade is but a replica of this one, a cut down copy. The weapon is simple in appearance, but its simplicity belies the deadly skill with which it is used.
Personality: Star Saber is a strong leader, but he differs in his methods from Optimus Prime. Where Prime believes in giving all foes a chance, Saber understands that there are times when there is no chance, and they must be removed from the equation. Compassion and pragmatism are both present, but there is also a great sense of restraint. Saber will most often remain at the base when a mission occurs, not out of fear or a desire not to fight, but because he knows that if he takes to the battlefield, any hopes of maintaining their secrecy is lost.
Skills/Special Abilities: Centuries of combat has honed Star Saber's skills, both with a rifle and a blade. In the latter, his mastery is unparalleled. and in the former, he can match the skill of most of his troops. But raw skill is not where his true power lies; The true threat to his foes lies with the ability to process information and make choices at a rapid rate, the same skill that allows him to command with such efficiency.
Weakness: Saber's greatest weakness lies not with himself, but with the limitations he has set for himself. He refuses to operate at his full power unless absolutely necessary, to preserve their ability to hide in plain sight. Unless the threshold of necessity is reached, he will be limited to his basic form.
Bio: Star Saber was originally called just "Saber", a weapons merchant back on Cybertron, and a guard reservist. When the Decepticon uprising occurred, he was called into service and sent into Tarn. Little did he know that it would be one of the first cities to fall. The Decepticons overwhelmed the under-trained and badly equipped reservists while the trained guards were withdrawn to protect Iacon, and Saber was quickly forced to flee. But in the process, he was badly injured, and left for dead.
However, that was not to be his fate. He survived long enough to be rescued and brought to Kimia, one of the only known Autobot survivors of Tarn. However, he was damaged beyond any chance of recovery, so he was drafted to serve as a test subject for Project Master. Rebuilt, he was one of the project's only successes; the augmentation process proved too much for the average Cybertronian to handle. He continued to serve with distinction until, by the time of the Distant Light's launch, he was one of the highest ranking Autobots left on Cybertron.

It's going to get rather strange now that Star Saber's in the game and his expy is serving right under him :P

Also, by series do you mean TF: Victory? Or TF: Alignment?

If they stem from the G1 continuity, they are not encouraged as PCs.However, as Treadbolt did not actually appear in the show or related media, it's a bit fuzzier. It would really depend on the profile, and namely, the quality thereof. If it's a good, fresh take on them, I'd allow it. If it's just slavishly copying the information on the character with a minimal profile, it'll be a "no".

Pilfered directly from Eternal Conflict. At least, most of it. :D

Name: Blastcraft

Species: Cybertronian

Gender: Male

Faction: Decepticons

Appearance: Armored in white and gold with a sky blue and purple frame, Blastcraft isn't designed for stealth. While he is a sort of 'hybrid' warrior, his design lends itself to other things. The white&gold armor is situated in such a way that it seems as if he's wearing heavy boots, gauntlets, and a vest. His upper limbs aren't heavily armored, with just a thin plate of blue or purple to cover the wires. Extending from his back are two winglets, both with a cannon/thruster on the end. Each thruster is around the size of his head, but extends further back. His head has three winglets on top, each a sky blue. His optics are covered with a golden visor. Where his 'mouth' would be is covered by an 'oxygen mask' of sorts, with tubes running along his 'cheeks' back into his head. A Decepticon symbol is emblazened on the left side of the white armor of his torso, standing out among the lighter armor. His boots have turbines implemented into them, allowing for more powerful jumps. Lastly, coiled up on his back, protected by a piece of armor, is an inflatable tube. His head comes up to the average Transformer's shoulders.

Alternate Mode: Blastcraft transforms into a hovercraft, as is evident by the turbines and tube. When in vehicle form, the tube from his back is inflated and forms a ring around the body of the craft. The top of it is mainly white and gold, as his less protected limb sections are drawn into the body and hidden below the tube. The winglets remain at the back of the craft, thrusters still being able to be used as cannons. The turbines from his boots are now more visible, being in the middle of Blastcraft and being the force that actually makes him hover. He's small, a one person hovercraft, and looks state-of-the-art.

Weapons: Dual Thrust Cannons: These fire off large blasts of energy at opponents, having a large explosive potential with large knockback. They can also switch into a jet mode, enabling the user extra propulsion.

Energon Spears: Two spears made of crystalized Energon that are able to dissolve into compartments on the user's arms. Their blades can switch from an upwards point to sideways, effectively changing them into scythes.

Personality: In a word, sarcastic. It can be tough to like him, simply because any advise, comments, questions, or anything really that comes from him is laced with sarcasm. Genuine words are a rarity coming from him. Beneath that is a battle-hardened individual that fought so others didn't have to. He's got quite a pessimistic attitude on life, as nothing's gone right for him since day 1. He doesn't want to die, but also feels he's got nothing to work towards. Blastcraft is somewhat of a loner at times, preferring to choose when he's around others or when he's not.

Skills/Special Abilities: At a skill level that's above average with his spears, and could hit the doorbell of a building across the street with the cannons. He's almost absurdly good at jumping, both vertical and horizontally, due to his thrusters and turbines. Better than the average foot soldier, but no-where near the level of special ops in combat. He's best in open spaces, with room to jump and swing his spears. 0-gravity isn't his worst battlefield, due to the thrusters, but not his preferred combat zone.

Weakness: His upper arms and legs are lightly armored, a few good hits there would cripple the limb. The turbines and thrusters are also fragile areas, with hits there disabling his jumping abilities. His loner-ness and sarcasm have a tendency to keep back-up from rushing in to help him, and so he's often found himself against overwhelming odds multiple times.

Bio: Blastcraft has been with the Decepticon cause nearly since the beginning, having joined before war had been declared. Originally, he had been an explorer, marking out new places on other planets or the few zones on Cybertron itself that weren't industrialized or settled. But one time when he returned to the cities, the amount of change-and bad, at that-drove him to find others who were thinking the same thing. The Decepticons. He's since been remade into a hybrid warrior, with cannons for long-range bombardment and the impressive jumping ability to be able to get over to a fight to quickly help a falling comrade. Blastcraft was stationed on The Corsair for those very abilities, as they allow improved, although not great, space travel. He served, he crashed, and so far he's simply built up the base, having not seen combat as of now.

Blastcraft is approved.@Flaredrick: Most likely not. After all, the crash of both ships was long after the end of the dinosaurs. However it would, again, depend on the profile, however. If you had a good explanation, I'd think about it.They would be horrible in this setting, though. No way to operate incognito.

Okay. Also first profile.

Name: Razous

Species: Cybertronian

Gender: Male

Faction: Autobots

Appearance: A tall medium armored Cybertronian with doors on his back that make him appear to have wings. The front bumper can be easily seen on his chest, and his wheels are on his calf, and shoulders. He's Crimson red with some silver accents on him. The Autobot insignia are on the doors, and he has a visor like that of Jazz. Because of the visor, no one has seen his optics from under it. Many people say that the visor is actually his optics.

Alternate Mode: 1980 Chevrolet Corvette with some silver stripes.

Weapons: Photon Burst Rifle with a 30 round clip

Personality: After the re-activation, his mood seems to swing when he gets in a fight. One minute he's all down, then he's all ready to fight like the soldier he really is. This is due to his personality chip being slighty broken from the crash.

Skills/Special Abilities: Though tall, stealth is his best skill. Thanks to extensive experimental research on the Cloaking Research, he only uses it when he has a high risk of making visual contact. He also a good marksmen with his Burst Rifle

Weakness: Due to his depression, his mind set is off balance. In battle his thoughts are mixed in with fighting, and thoughts of why the Decepticons don't want to find Megatron, if the Autobots are looking for Prime. During his depression, he is wide open for an attack. He'll be rendered helpless, and won't even fight back.

Bio: During the War on Cybertron, Razous under went experimentation on Cloaking to help give his stealth a little boost. After the extensive training and experiments, he was one of probably few to survive the experiments. His job was to lead Autobots in Stealth Operations that implied in stealing Decepticon secrets. If any of them were sighted in the mission, it was his job to eliminate the enemy, and continue the mission. If any of them were caught, he was the one to free them.

When the Ark was ready to launch, he watched it from a Decpticon outpost, since he was on a mission at the time. When he heard the news that the portal collapsed and The Ark and Nemesis were not heard from, he feared that Prime was lost in the stars some where. In time, when he heard that a re-purposed Autobot freighter was going to search for Prime, he went in and signed up to search for him. His stealth would be great if he was going to search an unknown planet.

When The Distant Light crashed upon earth, his personality component was slightly broken. Leaving him feeling depressed at one moment, then wanting to fight the Decepticons.

Anything need fixing, just let me know.

Name: Treadbolt

Species: Cybertronian

Gender: Male

Faction: Autobots

Appearance: Treadbolt is a bulky, somewhat short, green Robot. on his back he carries a plasma cannon, which has been modified to look like a tank turret. He has a faceplate that covers most of his face.

Alternate Mode: Tiger I tank.

Weapons: Plasma cannon. Accessible in both modes

Personality: He can be fairly brash at times, and doesn't seem to understand the point of having a "disguise". He also likes to "shoot first and ask questions later", not seeming to understand the potential consequences of such actions. And he likes being loud. Really loud. He can be very stubborn and nearly possible to reason with sometimes.

Skills/Special Abilities: He is well versed in ranged combat, as well as having some experience in close quarters combat.

Weakness: Due to his bulk, he is not very fast in either mode, and is a bigger target as well.

Bio: Treadbolt came on The Distant Light, having evacuated the failing planet as most others did. Needless to say, most others don't tend to like him much, as he is quite loud and annoying. But a few can recognize that he has valuable combat skills. As much as he may not like some of the autobots, he realizes that their cause is valuable and chose to side with them.

Good? I'm still somewhat unclear on some stuff, So I won't be jumping in until More gets established.

I'll be starting with one profile. I might be adding more later.Name: ScramjetSpecies: CybertronianFaction: DecepticonsAppearance: Scramjet is a tall, lean cybertronian with a narrow, sleek frame. He is coloured mainly silver with sky-blue highlights and black machine parts under his armour. Scramjet's head looks like Riccochet's except the black is silver and the silver is sky-blue. In robot mode his alternate mode wings fold into his back in the shape of a cape. Scramjet's legs are similar to a seekers; being the the exhaust and back of the airplane, on Scramjet the exhaust nozzle folds back and points backwards of his heels. His torso encompasses the cockpit and intake of the aircraft. His arms are simple and unornamented because they fold into the fuselage of the airplane in his alternate mode.Alternate Mode: CF-116 Freedom FighterWeapons: Nucleon Charge Rifle, Path BlasterPersonality: Scramjet is talkative and chivalrous at all times, even with his Autobot enemies. When he has deemed an enemy worthy he will always take the time to give them a salute before he enters battle against them, he believes that all defeated opponents should be treated with mercy, he detests needless killing. Scramjet is adventurous and loves exploring this new planet on which they have crashed, he retains an adventurous spirit from his time as a cartographer before the war.Skills/Special Abilitys: Scramjet is an expert marksmen and sniper, he was trained in use of the Nucleon Charge Rifle before the beginning of the war. Scramjet also retains his skills as a cartographer which he uses to map tactical positions for the coming battles.Weakness: Scramjet is lightly armoured; although this grants him high mobility even a group of humans with heavy weapons could disable or deactivate Scramjet. While Scramjet is aiming for a shot he is highly unprotected because he is focusing on nothing other than aiming.Bio: Before the war Scramjet was a cartographer. He was assigned to map unexplored places such as the rust spot. He joined the Decepticon cause because he believed the Autobot government was corrupt, although he disagreed with their methods he decided that the ends justified the means and kept with the Decepticons despite his adversity to their tactics. After the disappearance of the Nemesis he decided to join the corsair's crew so he could explore new worlds and escape from the war on Cybertron.

Name: Skyfall (ferglutz, that's a G1 name isn't it, but I WANT THAT NAME. 'cause I like it. And it's not like he survived LSOFTW. Yeah.)

Species: Cybertronian

Gender: Male

Faction: Decepticon

Appearance: Skyfall resembles what is termed by humans a "Samurai", but with katana-blades on his arms, and jets for shoulders. His coloration is a fairly standard Decepticon coloration, battleship grey with purple highlights and some yellow. Basically an anti-Star Saber. Oh dang, sorry Snark Knight. Just noticed your thingamajig.

Alternate Mode: Skyfall transforms into what is basically a V-22 Osprey configuration, but more futuristic-y. His arms come up and the katana-blade rotate to form dual rotors.

Weapons: Energy Daisho. (traditional samurai sword set)

Personality: Cold and Emotionless, rather like Shockwave, but less so.

Skills/Special Abilities: Metallikato, Circuit-Su, and Crystalocution. And Sith/Chain Lightning

Weakness: Skyfall tends to be a little slow, because of his armor, and when using his Chain Lightning he cannot move.

Bio: Update later
