Mahvi: Welcome to the Warzone!  You have 30,000 W to prepare your fighters for battle.  You must also add 8 points to your fighters' stats in any way you choose, and you must also select a basic weapon for Telluris to use.

Nocturn hits!  Onua is eliminated, Nocturn’s evasiveness down!

Since Onua is eliminated, Mata Nui’s shot is redirected at Nidhiki, and misses.

Nidhiki fires instead of Onua, and misses.

Mahvi: You can’t select an item from the shop as Telluris’s basic weapon.  What I mean is that you can give him a sword, mace, hammer, etc without any powers that he can always have on him.  With the stat points, each fighter has an extra 8 points.

Tournament 1 start!

Round 1: Vezon vs Nocturn (Quatros), Mata Nui vs Pridak (Slizer Dome), Nidhiki vs Millennia (Mahri Nui), Flare has no opponent

Ehlek vs Onua

1500w

Arena: Naho Bay

ITEMS: Kanohi Huna

Strategy:

Naho Bay. Lots of water. Need to be careful. The first thing Ehlek will do here is leap at Onua, attempting a battle between clawed hands. Ehlek will scratch Onua as fast as he can, repeatedly, and shoot lightning bolts from his spines while doing this. Once this is done, Ehlek will carefully take steps backwards, so as to not fall in the water, and proceed to discharge lightning from his claws in the direction of Onua in the form of rapid bolts of electricity, until he has used up approximately 35% of his elemental capacity. Once used up, he will try to repeatedly leap-shove Onua into the water, and not without attempting to claw him. [End of above-water strategy]

Kanohi Kadin: If Onua is using his Kanohi Kadin, Ehlek can try and use this to his advantage. Flying things can still be hit by lightning, perhaps even more likely to be hit by it. Ehlek will try and summon bolts of lightning to hit Onua in the sky, and perhaps even attempt to leap up, grab onto Onua's feet and attempt to scratch him somewhere. Should Onua try to use his elemental power over Earth to prevent Ehlek moving in any way, Ehlek will try and break free and dive into the water, attempting to avoid any of the Tarakava and Takea Sharks there. This is because it is probably much harder to use Earth on an underwater target-and since Ehlek will be underwater, he will be hidden slightly by the way light works underwater. This is also an attempt to make Onua come underwater.

-->If Onua does, Ehlek will swim up to him and grab him, channelling electricity, and thus harming them both. Ehlek will then swim up and leap out of the water, discharging lightning from his spines towards Onua.

--> If Onua does not come underwater, Ehlek will swim as deep as he can, attempting to avoid the local rahi, and them swim back up as fast as he can, attempting to emulate a flying fish by leaping out of the water towards Onua, firing lightning bolts from his spines while he's at it.

Underwater: Once both fighters are underwater, Ehlek will try and alert the local Rahi to the presence of both. He will then claw Onua, perhaps even kicking him downwards, while attempting to leap back out of the water, leaving Onua to deal with the Tarakava and Takea. Once out of the water, Ehlek will attempt to electrocute the water with whatever remains of his elemental energy.

Counters:

Earthblasts: Ehlek could attempt to dodge-roll, jump out of the way, dive underwater briefly, or counter with his own lightning bolts.

Earthly grasp: By this, I mean earth 'grasping' around Ehlek in away to impede his movement. Discharging lightning from his spines might to the job, it might not. While this does stop Ehlek from walking, running, jumping, it does not stop his upper body from leaning, which he will do if he cannot get out of it.

Blinding by Earth: Fall into the water, it should clean Ehlek's vision enough. Claw randomly and discharge a lightning bolt from his spines for good measure in case anything's getting close for good measure, too.

Onua's claws: He has claws. Ehlek has claws. Try and parry with the back of Ehlek's own claws.

Rahi: Rahi may be dangerous, but they're not invincible. The first time Ehlek gets too close to them, he will activate his Huna to get away. Any other times and Ehlek will have to discharge lightning from his spines.

Here's my strategy.

Vezon vs Nocturn

Arena: Quatros

Items: Axonn's Axe

Arena: Vezon is not worried about the "dangerous creatures". No, he's worried about the fact that Nocturn has Plantlife Powers in a tropical jungle.

Nocturn: Nocturn is dangerous in this battle, due to his powers over plant-life, his Mask of Flight, and his Axe. So Vezon's strategy in this battle will be to try and keep Nocturn distracted, using powerful ranged attacks to take advantage of Nocturn's low agility. Nocturn has very high strength, so Vezon will be careful to keep away from him, as if Nocturn managed to get close enough to hit him, it would be disastrous.
The Kanohi Kadin might help Nocturn evade Melee attacks, but Nocturn's low speed should hinder him from avoiding the ranged attacks from the Axe.
If Nocturn decides to get in close and manages it, Vezon will use his Shadowy Powers to blind Nocturn, and then use that to smash Nocturn with the energy-coated Axe.
If Nocturn attempts to use his elemental powers, than Vezon will attempt to stun Nocturn with the Axe, throwing it if necessary. If that fails, then Nocturn's concentration should be weak anyway, considering his incredibly weak mind, so it should be easy to break free from anyway.
If Nocturn attempts to use the Axe from afar, as he is likely to, than that makes things much harder. Nocturn's much stronger, but Vezon has the advantage of being quicker and smarter. If Nocturn tries to get close enough for a Melee attack, than Vezon will use the Staff to hit him from afar. If Nocturn is smart enough to attack from range, then Vezon will not attempt to get up close, that would be suicide. Vezon will also attack with his Axe, but he'll use the boomerang technique of the Axe to attempt to get Nocturn from behind. The surprise from this will hopefully distract Nocturn enough for Vezon to be able to get up close and use the Axe's return to be able to quickly smash Nocturn in Melee.

Mata Nui vs. Pridak

(Slizer Dome)

Taking advantge of the arena, Mata Nui will fire beams of light at Pridak while running towards the nearest terminal. Using the Impact Vision from the Skakdi spine, he'll slow Pridak just enough to reach the terminal. Once at the terminal, Mata Nui will hack the terminal as fast he can before Pridak can land any vable hits, but that may not happen due to the Scarabax Shield on Mata Nui's back. Once that is complete, he'll use Impact vision again while firing a blind blot of light at him.

When he is close to Pridak, he'll hack and slash at him with his sword. Pridak will then have regained his sight, which is why Mata Nui will bash Pridak with his shield and blast him with the Impact vision till he falls off.

Mata Nui vs. Pridak

(Slizer Dome)

Items: Brutaka's Sword

At the beginning of the match, Pridak blasts Mata Nui with water and rushes to the terminal, continually firing water blasts at Mata Nui. Pridak activates the terminal, then rushes toward Mata Nui, while attempting to dodge any attacks. Pridak charges Brutaka's Sword, and uses it, along with his blades, to assail his opponent in a flurry. Pridak shall attempt to end the battle swiftly.

Mahvi: Telluris’s weapon has been added.  You need to add 8 points to both of your fighters’ stat profiles before you can play.

Mata Nui vs Pridak: Pridak will probably reach the terminal first, but the shots Mata Nui gets in while they’re hacking will do more than the shots Pridak gets in, and Pridak’s lower toughness will continue to hinder him once the defensive systems start up.  Once it moves to close-quarters Pridak will start to have a real edge, but I think he will have sustained enough damage by this point that Mata Nui will be able to narrowly outlast him.  Pridak receives 10,000 W, Mata Nui advances.
