Got it, that was my way to stop all of the bull going on. Sorry.

 

 

So, I was just going back through the topic, and I came across this: 

 

 

IC: Dakilik

 

Dakilik walked down the halls, eager to find an ally in this pit of vipers (well, more like evil, mutated slugs, but you get the idea). 

As he stumbled down the halls, many Rahk turned and stared at him. He wondered why, at first. It couldn't be that he was a Sonics Rahk. Those were common enough around here. Then he realized that they were staring at his giant scar, running from his right eye down his spine. He growled them off, shooting one in the face with his axe/Sonics guitar. (OOC: No one of consequence. Just a random NPC) 

 

Eventually, after walking probably most of the school and putting at least 12 Rahk in the infirmary, Dakilik heard the sounds of a guitar solo coming from the library (probably a Rahk of Chain Lightning from the feed me was getting). Dakilik walked into the library and played a stunning lick on his Sonics guitar. The Rahk he had just interuppted was missing his left arm and leg, and was looking at him angrily. "Hey, who are you?" Dakilik asked neutrally.

 

OoC: Yeah, baby, I'm back! Also, Ghid-Squid, that's Vaalku who's groove I just threw off.

 

I'm assuming you're just trying to make your character's introduction seem cool or something, but NPCs are people too, and killing another student - PC or NPC - comes with some serious consequences. 

 

Likewise, hospitalising twelve other students in one sentence is both incredibly unrealistic, and would carry its own set of repercussions. Vaalku knows all too well what happens to Rahkshi who go around insulting other students for no good reason. I can't begin to imagine what would happen to someone who goes around crippling other rahks for no reason. 

K, got it. Just remember, Dakilik IS mentally unstable, so I'll just say his insanity made him BELIEVE he did that.

 

 

Not to mention - where is his axe getting the ability to shoot people in the face, or dull the blades at the touch of a button? It's not mentioned in his profile, so it really shouldn't be able to do any of that (unless you PMed Ultron to get it approved, but if you did that you should update his profile to say so.)

 

This kind of pushing it, but MY EXCUSES ARE AS FOLLOWS: First of all, I'm pretty sure my Axe/Guitar is allowed to fire sanik blasts (since I'm a sonics Rahk), put the button was sketchy. I'll go back and just say I can use my Sonics powers to dull the tone.

 

Sorry again for all the stuff going on with Dakilik. I'll try to keep him more legit in future.

Eh, I've generally tried not to let people get away with extraneous body parts like that, because I've too often seen them used by Mary-Sues. Unless you're willing to go the Squid route and make the wings tiny and vestigial or something then I'm gong to be reluctant to approve them

Gender: Male

Gear: Two long and thin swords and a warhammer that has a Mask of Scavenging tattooed upon it, and a cloak made out of a reptilian skin. During the raid on Phantom, he gained the multitool Necrosmith, a scythe/hammer which can absorb energy when in contact with another being in scythe form, and use that energy in hammer form.

Appearance: Draco is a hulking Rahkshi colored dark blue and black. He has red eyes, but what stands out about him are his very small reptilian wings which cannot be used for flight, as well as sharp talons on his hands.

Personality: Draco is brutal and arrogant, sometimes too arrogant for his own good. He is Strong by Rahkshi standards, and is fairly intelligent. He is highly skilled with his warhammer. Draco will follow any Makuta with loyalty, especially Icarax. He has a deep hatred for Vitesse. He also hates the cold. Draco believes himself to be an angel of the Makuta.

Or at least, that's who he used to be. Now, Draco recognizes that all of the Rahkshi at Corpus are unique individuals, with lives of their own. While Draco swore to stay firm as a loyalist, he has realized that not every Rahkshi wants to stay firmly loyal to the Makuta like he does.

Bio: Draco was created shortly before Vitesse left for Corpus, and has hated her for abandoning Icarax. He swore to find and kill Vitesse after Icarax sent him to Corpus.

However, in his time at Corpus, Draco has achieved a considerable amount more than he originally intended to. During the time he has spent at Corpushe has levelled up twice, once after the matoran raid, and another time after the assassination assignment, in which he was one of the two assassins not caught. He also managed to achieve the rank of prefect, although this has brought on some responsibility that perhaps he was not prepared for. That said, he has not achieved what he originally set out to achieve, and perhaps because of his new philosophy, never will.

• He carries 27 of borosilicate vials on a bandoleer. With this and his any ingredients he has on hand. He can make chemicals with one or more effects which depend on the properties of the liquid. (i.e. A frothy and cold liquid may create a bunch of foam which will freeze, and a sweet smelling fluid probably means apple cider.) However, sometimes he'll throw random chemicals together to making an unstable potion. Unstable potions explode.
• A satchel containing 50 mL borosilicate vials with the ingredients he'll use for his potions.
• He wields two metal specially crafted blades with insulated rubbery leathery grips that he calls Lightning Rods. Why the grip and the name? Because the blades can be electrified. They are wired to a single electric generator on his back (converted from a small electrolysis device). Unsafe, much? Science does have its risks. When activated by pressing a button on the hilt that sends feedback to the device, the blades begin to emit green sparking electricity. Here's what one of them looks like. They can also be turned off via the same button.
• He also has a chemistry kit he had to create himself, consisting of glass beakers, granulated cylinders, test tubes, and flasks, a Bunsen burner, and other things. This he keeps in his dorm.
• He also caries two syringe-knives that auto-injects upon puncturing through skin.

Appearance: Unlike the black and white of a normal Cyclone Rahkshi, he is green and silver, with transparent lime plates and spine. He also permanently wears shades because science is cool. And explosive. And flashy. His spine protrudes in a way that looks like wings, but they are small and simply aesthetic. Also his electricity on his blade comes out as a light lavender for reasons unknown.

Personality: He believes that science can solve most, if not all problems. And quite literally as he indulges in all knowledge related to science, engineering, smithing, and more. He prefers to stay away from his foes, using smoke, acid, and other vials to strike from afar. He is an opportunist, often looking into possible opportunities to display his skill or acquire new knowledge or supplies. Of course, he is not entirely moral and will resort to unorthodox methods into getting certain supplies. But despite this, he is very careful and meticulous about his work.

Bio: He has been in Corpus Rahkshi since the beginning, but simply secluded from the rest of the student body. He has preferred to gather a ton of knowledge rather then join any event, preferring to spend a third of his day reading any and every book in the library, and the second applying his knowledge in the gym by training or lab work, and the other third sneaking to the Cauldron to get supplies. He used to do stuff in private in the corner of the gym away from others, but as he collected things from the Cauldron, he began to convert his dorm into a lab and the resources to experiment with. But now he has amassed enough knowledge. Now was the time for action...yet he isn't sure where to start yet. At this time he is currently researching explosives, and has finally made gunpowder after his work. He is currently looking into the construction of a forge for one of the unused dorm rooms.

He is rescued by Recherche during a salvage mission and Recherche become his first business partner, in his opinion. Together they captured Poly and extorted poison out of him. He is currently participating in the assignment.

It was either that, Chain Lightning, or Electricity.

I would have thought a crazy chemist better suited to the powers of either Poison (infinite supply of that particular ingredient) or a heat-based power (Plasma, Heat Vision, Ice Resistance - for when the application of heat is required). But I suppose cyclone would make a little sense, for stirring stuff with air...?

Not even that at level two. All he could do is blow away harmful chemicals if they came near him due to cyclone shield- thing. So that could be useful, I suppose.

And either way, with his intelligence and creativity, he'll find a way to mimic other powers to an extent.

 

And in other news: I'm on my desktop now, so I can finally make a list of chemicals that he'll throw at/use on himself or other people.

    • ​Frost Orb - An orb containing chemicals that are extremely cold. Cold enough to create frost and induce freezing. Inspired from a Freeze Disk he found in the Cauldron.
    • Acid Orb - An orb containing chemicals that are highly corrosive. Delivers pain and may corrode armor/weapons.
    • Poison Orb - An orb containing poisons that induce sickness.
    • Burning Orb - An orb containing chemicals that create a fire upon impact.
    • Rust Orb - An orb containing chemicals that induce rusting.
  • ​Defensive/Support
    • Smoke Orb - An orb containing chemicals that produces a thick smoke.
    • ​Booster Vial - A vial containing a cocktail of steroids/painkillers that allow the user to gain temporary strength and endurance for a few minutes. However its harmful effects cause him to not use them unless he really needs it.

Could you cut down on the number of chemicals he carries around? I appreciate you've clarified what he's got instead of having him miraculously have to hand whatever he needs for a situation, but (along with the blade) he's essentially got about ten extra powers on top of his actual Rahkshi ability, most of which overlap with other Rahkshi abilities. I would suggest cutting down on the variety of chemicals he has (come up with ones that can be used creatively for a variety of effects instead of having a specialised potion for any occurrence) and say that, rather than have them immediately to hand, he has to mix them up on the scene from what he has (something which cyclone powers would actually be helpful for)

Ultron, could Shock use the Launcher? The orbs would be filled with electrical energy, that on impact would release a burst of electricity about four feet in diameter, and would shock anything in the area. Also, Shock is bringing the launcher for Nightmare.

Name: Doubt

 

Variation: Fragmentation

 

Level: 2

 

Gender: Male

 

Gear: Doubt carries a small watch hidden in the armour of his chest. It is attached to a chain no longer than a foot. He has a metal ball attached by a chain about a Bio in length. It is attached to his wrist.

 

Appearance: Doubt runs at average Rahk height. He is brown with hints of translucent green. His eyes are also green. And his hands are big enough to fit around a Rahkshi head.

 

Personality: Doubt is reasonably friendly, but he tends to bash things he doesn't like. He takes pride in his skill with his weapon. He hates refectory gruel, and will sometimes resort to eating wood or paper because of it. He loves Matoran as well, and has never gotten the chance to see one. He is oddly good at tinkering.

 

Bio: Doubt comes from a Makuta who succeeds in minor experiments, one of them being a Bula-powered generator. His Makuta doesn't like Corpus, but was commanded by his superiors to send Doubt there. Doubt has won several battles against Rahks much quicker than himself, but has yet to prove himself an effective warrior. He also likes calm songs and especially is fascinated by sand. He also hates cats.

IC: Eps

Eps activated his density control powers after the first hit, taking all of the hammering. He then attempted to pull himself round and begin to grab her head and slam it into the ground.

Didn't Eps have his powers active this entire time? Because that's why I've been trying to have Venom focus on blunt force trauma as a means of damaging him.

Also, the arm Venom was hitting him with is currently hooked under his own. Combine this with the fact that she's still holding his other arm behind his back by the wrist, and a full 180 degree turn in either direction would leave him with at least one dislocated shoulder.
