Vahkiti Master of Time
So a few years ago, I came up with a pretty solid method of adapting the Toa Nuva to move much like they do in Mask of Light, while retaining most or all of their original parts, and leaving very little out of place to the casual observer. Now I have begun to apply that same concept to the Mata. Due to their differing construction, Pohatu, Onua, Lewa, and Kopaka had to be adapted in more noticeable ways, and were a lot more difficult to do so. Any suggestions on how to better that would be appreciated. Also uh.. don't mind the yellow Hau. I still need to order my red one off Bricklink or something. xD Edited February 8, 2015 by Vahkiti Master of Time 5 Quote Staff/admin of BioMedia Project. Founder of The Beaverhouse & Litestone. Toa Doublebee
I like these. not fully articulated, but just enough to make them a bit more poseable. Nice work But I do feel like Tahu getting a Yellow mask might make the others a bit jelly
Voltex
The lack of poseability is one of the only issues I have with the Toa Mata/Toa Nuva, so it's always neat to see how even simple modifications can fix that as much as possible. It's too bad you can't give them proper elbows or legs without constructing custom models. Quote JOIN AETHERGARDE
Grungemeister
This is pretty cool! The only thing that could make it better would be if you could preserve the gear function. There are other ways to preserve the gears with articulation, but yours is by far the most posable.(Other ways) Edited February 11, 2015 by Toa Vanson Quote A RUDE AWAKENING - A Bionicle G1 continuation and video-game project(MUSIC COMPOSER) special thx to Inary the Gunhaver for my new username. Nidhiki of the Shadows
Pretty neat. I always like seeing how differently people add articulation to their Toa Mata/Nuva. The shoulder articulation is pretty original. Really helps add a MNOG-style degree of motion! -NotS
