I decided to remake Nocturn as my entry for BBC #69. It uses a total of 6 pieces that haven't been used in Constraction sets since CCBS came out in 2011, one of which is the squid ammunition. It's not very extravagant but I thought it captures Nocturn's aesthetics nicely. I wanted to incorporate gear functions for the sword arms but those are the bottom arms and not the upper arms so I decided to go for accuracy over functions. Some colors aren't exact and I would've wanted to cover the lower legs more but I didn't have big shells in lime. Also, the eyes are the red bulbs under the HF Brain.

LOL someone had to make it! Anyways really nice color scheme. Oh how I wish I had those CCBS bone pieces in that color! Anyways, I really like the use of the HF Brian and how you really used as many CCBS pieces as you could on this one. I like the use of those HF egg pieces from Invasion from Below. (Oh man how I really wish I kept on getting HF sets after Breakout, I did buy HF Brain Attack Breez :P) But yeah really nice moc, you stayed true to the design and to me the color scheme seems really good. The only thing I wish was included would be the webbed feet and the green tentacle from the actual Noctorn set. Im guessing you never owned it? If you never owned it, you did a great job recreating it :P

Also are those pistons in the back of the legs really needed for support? Like the original set? Or are they just there to add resemblance?
