Ahkmou Toa of Shadow and Rahkshii of Silence

*During his travels Takanuva has seen many strange worlds and old friends along with foes, but one was very different from most of those encounters. He once arrived in a world where he was greeted by unfamiliar Toa, yet his voice was familiar and in his company he had a Rahkshi with him, it was the one that utilized silence as it's weapon.  The unknown Toa had a staff as a weapon one that had Makuta written all over it. "You don't recognize me Takua?" the shady Toa asked in a mocking tone while his Rahkshi was moving into position. "Have we met before?" the Toa of Light asked, he asked a little confused after all what he has seen, he can't tell who this could possibly be. "Vakama must have mentioned me or someone else perhaps." he said as he tightened his grip on his staff. Takanuva didn't recall any Toa that looked like him, unless it wasn't a Toa back then "Ahkmou?" he asked, not believing it, but he had no better guess. "And we have a winner!" he laughed, mocking him a bit more. "Now Toa of Light, kneel before the Shadows of Makuta or perish!"*

Now before people start going for the comment section about the color, hear me out first. Since there was an Ahkmou Toa of Shadow planned as an actual set in 2008-ish which got cancelled for one reason or another, I thought I try my interpretation of the traitor Matoran. Now, since the Toa of Light is bright, shiny and gold it would make sense to make the Toa of Shadow be it's near photonegative, dark and shady. As for the mask, I wanted to seem more Makuta-like (I mean look at Onua Mistika's Pakari, it totally looks like a prototype for the '03 Makuta). As for the Rahkshi I wanted to make him feel more like an assassin, since it uses silence, it would make it a perfect killer, and a staff weapon wouldn't be too good of a choice, so I gave him tonfas to use. The spikes on the back are supposed to be antennas that nullify all sound so the Rahkshi can do it's mission.

Ahkmou Looks awesome! I think the colour (or lack thereof) works in his favour, even If I think you went a bit overboard on the Gunmetal Grey. The Staff is awesome, too, but where did you find that Black Flame piece?

 

The Rahkshi is still pretty compact, and a nice addition, but I think that Ahkmou steals all the attention for me. He's just that cool!

Anyway, these are great MOCs! For some reason I always imagined an hypothetic Toa Ahkmow with a black Jetrax-ed Jutlin - but since it has never been made and I don't think many would agree to paint one, I'll have to keep dreaming it - but the adapted Pakari Nuva, and the reason behind it, is a nice choice. The blend of old and new is perfect, and the custom limbs are remarkable. The two are indeed a little...colorless. What were the canon colors of the silence rahkshi?

Alright, first off, Rahkshi is Spelled with One "i", just so ya Know.
Now, The Rahkshi's Colors are Correct, but Reversed, Rahkshi of Silence are Gray/Black, not Black/Grey. My Source is here

Now, onto Ahkmou, Those legs in My opinion, are The Best part, But seem a little Short compared to the Torso, and the Torso Is a Tad thin.

The flame piece is originally from an  older technic race set, it came out around the years Bionicle first started and that line had many recolors of Mata/Turaga weapons, but it's origin for me is from BrickLink, I bought like 6 I think, there's probably more out there. I admit, I might have overdone the gunmetal a tiny bit, subconsciously I probably wanted to use up as much of it as possible.

I corrected that error, I honestly still don't know why I type it both ways, sometimes with one i other times with two. As for the Rahkshi colors, from the site I check it from it said it was black/grey, I did stretch the grey part with gunmetal, I'll take the blame for that.

Odd, from the site I saw it from it was black/grey, oh well, a bit of a mix up on my part I suppose. I did make Ahkmou a tiny bit hunched that's probably a reason why it feels short, Though I can see your point with it being thin, I wanted to make it work well with the HF chest pieces so I tried to not make him too wide.
