Nato G
Presenting my entry for BBC 72, a (discoloured) Droideka. -- Action Pose -- Front View -- Side On -- Back Angle -- Close Up -- Obviously I lacked the parts to create it with colours that were true to the real thing, but I did my best to capture the look of the destroyer droid with what parts I had at hand, while maintaining a coherent colourscheme. Unfortunately, it can't curl up into a ball and roll around. 7 Quote Embers - a new Bionicle Epic - Coming 2024 Class Is Out - A Farewell To Corpus Rahkshi - Chapters/Review BZPRPG Characters - Minnorak, Kain, T'harrak, Savis, Vazaria, Lash BZPRPG Mercenary Group - The Outsiders - Description - History - Base Ghosts Of Bara Magna - Ash Tribe - Precipere - Kehla, Somok, Skrall, Gayle, Avinus, Zha'ar
Millennium
You used the Visorak body piece in a MOC! And not as a body piece (?)! You deserve to win just for that. Frankly, though, it looks a little gappy, but looks good nonetheless, no one's gonna argue it doesn't look like what it's supposed to be. Pohatu: Uniter of Stone
Mata Nui! It's beautiful! I've always loved Droidekas, but I've always been disappointed by the ones that came in Lego sets. I think the only Lego Droideka I've ever liked is the old Technic figure one, but it is very old. Your Moc feels like a straight-up upgrade on that set. Quote I HATE SCORPIOS ~Pohatu Master of Stone, 2015
Onuki
Nice job! I think the self-contained color scheme works very well; Lego themselves have done the same thing when altering colors for (Star Wars) sets, and it's a nice take on what it's based on. The Nuva armor and Rahkshi head work really well for the curved casing. And it seems like the Gen 2 pieces used for the feet were made for this MOC! Great work and thanks for posting it! Maxiboy136
Great stuff! The use of the fire pieces for the energy blast is a brilliant touch.
Nescent
The use of the fire pieces for the energy blast is a brilliant touch.I'll echo that - those pieces really are used perfectly. The way you angled them gives them the perfect shape for a blast coming from a gun.
