Also, It was upraised, and I take this means vertical. So, That means I would have to ram into its side rather than any tip on it, which doesn't make too much sense, until you remember...

The Art Forger, as one would expect,

and they quickly mingled with the crowds,

 

So clearly I was described as being the Art Forger before hand, and that clever wordplay afterwards signified my demise:

blood and brains mingling with the still-wet paint.

 

Which can only mean one thing...

 

 

 

 

 

The Chef did it okay lock 'em away chief

whereas what Ghidora was making doesn't immediately spring a connection in my mind.

 

Ghidora was trying to frame Burnmad, hence the reference to "burning madness" in my rushed type/paint job. Since the detective coincidentally also chose to target Burnmad for this scene, he was obviously exonerated of being the killer.

 

Because of that, I admittedly didn't put as much effort into describing the fake painting.

 

In that case, I vote Kylo Ren.

Day 2 – The Morning After.

 

 

The Vengeful Artist whistled softly to himself, patting his pocket reassuringly while he watched the other guests scrambling over each other, struggling desperately to wrench open the doors and windows. They were all firmly locked, of course. He’d made sure of it.

 

“Looks like we’re stuck in here,” the medic finally sighed, slumping against the doors, “And I doubt anyone’s coming along to let us out.”

 

“Then we’ll have to find the killers ourselves,” the detective declared delightedly, “They must’ve taken the keys. We catch them, we can get out of here, then turn them over to the authorities.”

 

“To karz with that!” the con artist roared, “They killed my friend,” he jabbed a finger towards Ghidora’s covered corpse, “so why shouldn’t we return the favour?” The suggestion was met with a rabid chorus of agreement, and before the detective even fully understood what was going on, the mob had begun voting on who they thought the killers were.

 

Moments later, Kylo Ren and Festivescore were dragged out to the front of the crowd, and – given the lack of any real implements with which to execute them – were brutally beaten to death with an assortment of ornate statuettes and expensive craft supplies.  

 

The victims:

• Kylo Ren – Assassin – lynched day two.
• Festivescore – Guest – lynched day two. 

 

 

Night roles have 24 hours to send in their targets for night 2.

Apologies once again for the delay; there were a number of roles who didn't submit their targets for this scene. Understandable, given that we're getting close to Christmas and people are busy living their lives.

 

Fortunately, the PMs I did recieve have made for quite an... interesting... scene.

 

Night 2 – Silent Night, Violent Night.

 

As night fell once more on the Gallery, the survivors huddled in the main exhibition hall, whispering among themselves. Some spoke of their suspicions as to who the other killers were, while other discussed what they were going to do when they eventually escaped, while others still quietly placed bets on who would be killed next.

 

The detective, however, was not among them. He stuck to the edges of the room, rifling through everyone belongings in a desperate attempt to figure out who the other killers could be. But when he tipped open the bag of An/A Blade he staggered back in surprise as all manner of, well, blades tumbled out. Blade was one of the assassins!

 

Elsewhere in the gallery, another assassin was closing in on his target, none other than Quisoves Potoo. But as he rounded a corner in pursuit of the elusive bird, he was surprised to see not one but two of him. “Don’t move!” he shouted, levelling a revolver at the duo. “One of you must be a fake, so which one is it!”

 

“I’m the real Potoo,” one of them protested, “Ahem. Moo! See?”

 

“Pathetic,” the other Quisoves spat, “Witness the true Potoo! MOOOOOOOOOO-”

 

A gunshot rang out, cutting off the real Quisoves Potoo mid-mooom as his head popped like a water balloon filled with red paint. His body twitched, as if trying to take flight one last time, then flopped forward onto the ground. His work done, the assassin holstered his smoking weapon and strolled off into the night, the fake Potoo already fleeing in the opposite direction.

 

The Victims:

But she might be voting for the actual mafian in order to make people not vote for them...hm...
