i'm making a game boy/NES based game of bionicle heroes (2006)

i need you all to know that i tried to do heroes sprites, 16 x 24 size, third person RPG shooting guy like GBadvance bionicle heroes.

some how i am stuck and stumped.

i need a pixel artist to help my work with some sprites.

doing a work in progress and needed support. please comment now.

(and needed to move i am lost here)

fire=red (Tahu, Vakama, Jaller)

water=blue (Gali, Nokama, Hahli)

ice=white/cyan (Kopaka, Nuju, Matoro)

metal=black/violet (Onua, Whenua, Nuparu)

earth=yellow/brown(Pohatu, Onewa, Hewkii)

air=green(Lewa, Matau, Kongu)

 

bosses

 

Zaktan green forest level

Hakann red volcanic core level

Vezok blue ocean level

Reidak purple dustreal level

Thok cyan ice level

Avak gray ruins level

Vezon all colors invert black deepspace level

What he said.  If you want to actually plug your game into a gameboy and play it I don't think I can help, but if you want to play it on a PC I could help with that.

well... I need a level designer.

this game is first style as a GameBoyColor but the pellet colors are different then the original.

orange-yellow-lime
turquoise-cyan-navy
violet-magenta-pink
white-gray-black

this game is like a isometric style gaming, that you use only 4 buttons even the + pad.
you know A, B, start, select, ?
A is shoot, and B is build (I think)
select is for switch between mask power.

 

masks:

• (no mask)=(zamor shoot)
• (fire masks)=(rapid fire balls) "hold A to charge up your bigger one like megaman style"
• (water masks)=(laser harpoon) "the longer player use, the quicker it drains. unless underwater"
• (wind masks)=(twin arrows) "like a cross bow shoot 3 way arrow"
• (ice masks)=(ice laser) "bounces off walls"
• (stone masks)=(homing missals) "auto targets enemy's"
• (earth masks)=(bombs) "BOOM!"
• (finale mask)= powerful zamor blaser "works on everything"

 

enemy sprites:

 

I don't know how good those enemy sprite are fitting.

I think I will list all the monsters for you to understand.

• boraku (borahk) HP 5-20 (slow walk, rolls faster, shoots bullets) red, blue,
• rochi (rahkshi) HP 8-25 (normal speed, fires 2 bullets) yellow, blue,
• zaki (vahki) HP 12-30 ((if max health: slow walk) (if low health: crawls faster) missiles) green, black
• rosuriku (visorak) HP 10-28 (fast speed, shoots directional blasts), yellow, green

lets see... each level has a mask at the near end of the room before going to the exit.

that's why each region has 2 levels and 1 boss level.

speaking of levels. there's something I have to tell you guys, but I hate spoiling it: the BONUS level! its after you find all golden bricks from each level.
after you find all the bricks: the 2nd golden star will be on a top right.
then after a bonus level: you get a 3rd star that unlocks a true final boss and secret ending.

infect, I also need a sprite artist that makes: enemy sprites, boss sprites, animated building telepathic elements.

 

more enemy sprites (that are available for full game)

• zamor blaster sentry (can easily reprogramed) any
• nui-jaga (slow speed, shoot poison long distance) blue, white
• nui-rama (fast speed, flying, shoots stun blasts) green, orange

minibosses:

• Furnace Salamander: "jumps on tower to tower, spits 3 fire balls" (weakness: water) 
• frost beetle: "shoots ice projectiles at player" (weakness: fire)
• nui-kopen: "fires electrical laser from stinger & summons nui-rama" (weakness: stone) 
• catapult scorpion: "charges a massive fire ball bomb. warning: very dangerous foe" (weakness: N/A)

bosses:

you know: each region has its boss stage with a piraka to fight.

well, each piraka has a same powers as what the toa has.

for example:

• hakann: "fires rapid lava balls, summons lava falls." (lava rises when died, use elevator)
• vezok: "uses hydro laser, dives down underwater to regenerate"
• reidak: "activates hazards & monsters, fires zamors, plant bombs when running"
• avak: "activates sentry's & booty traps, fire missiles"
• thok: "blasts a longer laser reflecting everywhere sometimes stuns himself, summons gap traps"
• zaktan: "clone himself, real zektan fires 1 arrow, fake zektan fires 3 arrows, turns invisible"
• vezon & fenrakk: with fenrakk: "spews 5 way fireballs & jump to create quakes" without fanrakk "each time vezon got hit, he teleports and changes random elemental color to use powers."

you are right, but the reason I needed you is because its hard to do animations or sprites of enemy's, bosses, and other title sets. no matter what I did with a rahkshi staff... too long...
