Mr. Cod
So I went to add more masks to my other post, but as it turns out there's a maximum number of images per post even when they're externally hosted. Who knew? Anyway, here's some masks. First off we have a few conversions. And the rest are plain old paint jobs. EDIT: More masks more masks more masks more masks more masks more masks more masks more masks more masks! As usual, I have more stuff on DeviantArt, Flickr, and Tumblr to anyone interested, and if you want to buy anything shoot me an e-mail at modaltcom@gmail.com. Ballom Nom Nom
Saw these a few days ago on Flickr and was really impressed. The quality of these just keeps going up! My favorite of this batch is that toothy Kulta mask. It's just begging to be used in a Gen 2 styled Piraka!
Disciple
My favorite of this batch is that toothy Kulta mask. It's just begging to be used in a Gen 2 styled Piraka! My thoughts exactly. I like the washed-out, weathered look of it, too. These are all very cool. After the Kulta mask, my favorites are the vine-covered Protector mask and the Miru with the exposed brain. Both are very creative-- in the middle shot of the Protector mask, it almost looks like the vine could be a tiny tentacled creature hiding behind the mask. The Mahiki at first looked a bit plain compared to the others, but then I noticed that you actually painted all the little connecting nodes silver. Pretty impressive that you were able to paint those tiny little spots with such accuracy. Are these commissions?
Mr. Cod
Are these commissions? Nope, these ones were just for fun, and to get ready for brickfair.
Taria Pakari
My favorite of this batch is that toothy Kulta mask. It's just begging to be used in a Gen 2 styled Piraka! Same. Though I see more as Skeletor than Piraka. :v
Lemony Lepid
That lime (Matatu? Mahiki? I can't remember!) really caught my attention. The eyepiece, what did you use to make it? Was it just an akaku scrap or was it from something else? Quote ~~

Rakrondewl
Wow, you must have an incredibly steady hand to paint so perfectly.
Dallior
Wow, are these amazing or what? Would you be interested in selling? Quote "Remember when the comics forum had a lot of good stuff? Mr. Cod
Wow, are these amazing or what? Would you be interested in selling? Yup! I think all the ones I have up here now have been sold, but you can always commission a copy.
