So Terry was the greatest villain ever, had a plan for everything, except the idea of oh say....a planet twice the size of jupiter or the size of it crushing a him a robot this size of Earth. Post your ideas about how he was able to plan all of this (minus the planet owneding his antidermis butt)

Firstly, it was actually only a relatively small chunk that hit his head (Misleading Mata Nui saga artwork strikes again). And that wasn't the only thing that went wrong with his plan either. Getting crushed by a door for instance, was a bit of a setback. As for how he came up with his plan, he basically spent a thousand years on his own with virtually no company, letting lesser beings do all his work. Plenty of time to come up with something spectacular, and iron out any problems as well.

I see...well it would be queer if he DID know about the chunk about to crush his skull.

Having all your sons die at once COULD be quite distracting.Basically, Teridax had no friends and kept himself entertained by plotting to rule the universe. He'd just have to pick out what to do about the big things that could go wrong and make up the little things as he went.Or it could all be luck and he's just taking the credit for it. You never know.

Villains are supposed to be able to plot. It's part of their CV.But anyway, one thousand years by yourself is enough time to think up a plan, make several backup plans in case the first plan failed and find the resources required to achieve your goals. So he probably just made lots and lots of plans, so he managed to mostly succeed despite the setbacks.
