Bionicle G3 game

Bionicle G3 is an isometric (hyper light drifter style) rpg game featuring the rpg concept.

run by game maker, in PS1 style, I decide to make the player, enemys, and the elements 3d mod, because the sprite animation style is so hard, even the mask changing and armor is too much WORK to do. I want to make the 3d mods the size of the 32x32, the title-set will be as 2d. the animation I will be working on. the demo is the start. the texture pack and colors will be florescent style. (we can keep the red blue gray and brown dark) the entire game will reflect to the story.

in toy sets each set comes with a QR rune code from an bionicle game project.

 

 

the masks from both 3d mod and in real lego sets looks like this. and the QRrune is located behind the mask.

 

each shape is a traditional super ability for a toa (player) can find and equip for there unlockable ability's

 

however, the super ability cost MP (mask powers) and it may be so simple in lvl1, but a lot more advanced if its lvl'ed big.

the golden lvl3 masks, (STAR mode) is temporary and powerful lvl in the sets.

 

WAVE 1

 

barrier

1. summon a hand held force field as a knight shield to protect hero
2. summon force field around hero to deflect bullets and lava flows
3. creates an energy shockwave attack if shield gets enough hits from enemy and bullets

X-ray

1. ​lets player see hidden items from far distance int+15
2. lets player see hidden paths from close distance int+20
3. scans enemies elemental weakness int+30

agility

1. gives player super sprint 10+spd
2. gives player super dash 20+spd
3. gives player dodging ability's and attacks faster

underwater

1. water breathing 15+
2. gives player to dash faster in underwater, water breathing 20+
3. swimming dash that damage enemies and destroy barriers, water breathing 30+

levitation

1. gives player to float in mid air.
2. gives player a power to glide in mid air.
3. makes player to glide through twisters.

strength

1. gives player strong melee attacks atk +15
2. lets player lifts objects or enemies and throw atk +20
3. lets player to lift up or destroy heavier objects. atk +30

each traditional mask color and neon florescent color is corresponding a different elemental energy 

red (red-orange) FIRE

blue (neon-turquoise) WATER

white (florescent blue) ICE

black (hot blue violet) METAL  ( its lego's fault that air and jungle has changed names )

brown (neon-yellow) EARTH

green (neon-green) JUNGLE

 

 

 (some masks however are okay to collect, but not to be used or scan)  

NEGAMASKS

each mask is warn by a Makuta Lord teridax and a dark hunter.

listing the masks of makuta, all sets of them are dark colored metallic and a mixture of trans neon.

Darkness (Krekaan)

teridax's mask, is a prime makuta mask of shadows, leading the dark hunters but also turn golden hearts black.

Hatred (kiraii)

lets users cast anger and hatred upon victims ether to become violent or to turn on others.

Chaos (kontun)

lets user create dangerous creatures and chaotic weathers most unimaginable.

Corruption (Duukoh)

corrupts victims into minions, and also turns living environments into cruel and polluted dungeons.

Absorption (Mimiku)

lets user to take and absorb all energy from victims to use them for themselves.

​Fear (Wehi)

cast hallucinations upon victims there very worst phobia's of all times.

Sorrow (pohuri)

cast upon victims to there deepest depression that made them weaker.

I love your art style, man! The three rankings of masks is interesting. At first I figured it was Mata, Nuva and Gen 2, but upon further inspection it seems rather you created an intermediary between Mata and Nuva, is that right? Either way, your designs look really good.

 

Also all the work you put into designing the game was cool, I have often done similar plans, though with less skill in Blender behind me to get me from the ideas stage to the drawing board. I know it is super hard to keep the steam of creativity going with the sheer volume of content in the Bionicle universe...

 

If you think that an animated film or series would be easier than a game, I'm not sure I fully understand, but it still sounds pretty cool. I imagine though that a game would get a lot farther without any music/voice acting (unless those also happen to be talents of yours) than a series, but even if it only culminated in these sick 3d designs, I'm still happy to see them. You are very skilled. Haha, you should make a time-lapse of your design process, I would love to watch someone who knows what they are doing sculpting my favourite characters out of raw polygons.

This is awesome! looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. I'd love to offer some help but as far as game development goes, I think the only use I'd be is in the writing department, or editing cutscenes. If you're looking for voice actors though, I know a lot of really great amateur VAs who might be interested.
