I'm not. The Tesaran epilogue was just them squabbling and me occasionally getting a word in about treaties.

You'd think they'd be more focused on, I dunno, any of these things:

• Figuring out where the heck they're going to get food or water. 
• Putting out the fires that are burning down the pitiful remains of their village.
• Finding somewhere for all of their surviving citizens to sleep so they don't all freeze to death in the cold desert night.

Apparently my faction ideas are good for stories and not for a flexible game. Was not told this, but I can feel it.

You'd think they'd be more focused on, I dunno, any of these things:

1. This has been covered by a treaty, conceptual ideas, and local Tesara produce capabilities.

2. Fires have been put out, and after the Skrall lost the Battle of Tesara, Hyethut reorganized the militia he created for the battle as a knightly order of firefighters that respond directly to him, many Tesaran soldiers were made a part of this too. This was called the Order of the Palm (the word "palm" having two meanings).

3. The city will be rebuilt under a new government using the income from religious pilgrimages, produce, exisdian mining, and moisture harvesting.

 

Tesara's future looks bright, but its head is greatly troubled.

Your faction ideas are more like Voltex's Knights vs. Skull Cult.

We can still use them just we need something along with them.

Hm... except your village full of highly-combustible trees and wooden structures just burned up... which would have created colossal plumes of ash and smoke... which has probably polluted your water sources and smothered your fertile ground. 

 

And since the other tribes regularly traded for that food and water... I'd say everyone's collective futures are looking quite grim.

Ash is actually a great fertilizer it's organic and full of nutrients for new plant growth.

Volcanic ash, yeah. Wood ash on the other hand, while good in moderation, can really screw over the pH levels of soil when in large enough quantities.
