IC: Evan"I will not back down!" Gnip roared at the Bisharp, falling for the Torment."All right, Gnip!", Evan said, "Block the slash with your fin, and finish it with a Draco Meteor!"Gnip saw the Bisharp heading towards her, and usiing her fin as a shield, blocked the Slash, leaving a wound on her fin. Gnip's "star" glowed as she roared towards the Sky, summoning a great deal of small meteors plummeting towards the Bisharp.

"Sucker Punch." Orange stated, as the Bisharp sped behind the garchomp quickly, and then attempted to stab at Gnip quickly, even as the meteors fell all around them.

IC: "Dodge and use BubbleBeam!"The Poliwhirl jumped to the side, water swishing past his face. He accomplished a three-point landing, and fired off a stream of powerful water spheres.

OOC: Pein: Right, right.Yes, they are. Bluefalcon and Nuju Nui's characters have all done that, so it's nothing new. As a matter of fact, it's probably for the better that that happens -- if it didn't then there would be a lot of still-living Pokemon buried in graves with their dead trainers or something. And that's bad. :PBlade: mmmmm.....? xpI suppose it would be possible via the powers of certain Pokemon -- like Beeheyem or most other Psychic-Types -- but I can't imagine that there would be some machine or something that would do that. As for who it would affect -- unless the person was a psychic and could link their memories with other peoples', I imagine it would only affect the person who is directly having their memory altered.Otherwise, we'd be getting into some sort of Kingdom Hearts memory voodoo, and that would be confusing. IC - Ray - TA Base: Seel took the hit again after coming to a stop form his charge, though did not seem to be terribly damaged by the water attack. A quick order caused it to begin launching Ice Shards at the Poliwhirl...

IC: EvanGnip roared in pain again as the Bisharp backstabbed her. A meteor knocked him away from her. Gnip turned to look at him, her eyes burning with rage."I guess you've finally mad her mad!", Evan said, smirking, "I wouldn't like to be your Bisharp now! Gnip, Outrage!"Gnip roared another earthshattering roar and glowed red. Suddenly she brutally struck at the Bisharp with her claw, her eyes burning with a primal rage. The Bisharp Braced himself, but was knocked back. His steel typing prevented him from taking a greater deal of damage.Gnip growled at the Bisharp, "I have taken on the Ruler of Space, and the ruler of the Distortion World, and came out better for it! YOU WILL FALL."Roaring, the Garchomp rushed at the Bisharp again, her fangs bared.....

OOC: Parugi: Anything memory related is confusing. =P Last arc of Bleach showed that well. =P I think I can work in both an explanation for someone's amnesia, the reason everyone remembered that character even though they never met said character, and more. In fact, I can also explain another thing. It'll be a while before that gets to that point, unfortunately. Doesn't help that I keep putting off my next Zach IC.

Orange nodded with a smile.

"Let's finish this, then." Orange said, as Senbonzakura readied himself, and then ran forward, and released a Night Slash at the last moment, aiming to either clash with Gnip's move, or attack her directly. However, Senbonzakura knew this would be his last move in the fight, as he had taken too much damage.

 

-==Zach//Striaton Gym==-

 

Zach walked forward, as he kept in mind the advice that was given.

So... There are three Gym Leaders, each focus on a different aspect, and they all fight together. I also need to pass their tests to advance. Zach thought, as he stopped in front of a set of closed doors. He turned his head, as he noticed the doors to the restaurant area closed.

"So... You're the foolish one who took a joke to be real... We should refuse to fight you just because of that... But, we'll let you make it up, in battle skills. Be warned that these fights will test both yourself and your Pokemon..." A voice called out over the intercom, as four hidden doors on each side of the room opened, and eight people jumped out in ninja-like outfits, each holding a Pokeball.

 

Zach looked at each briefly out of the corner of his eye, and then tossed two Pokeballs behind him. Blade and Cyndy appeared, as Zach ran forward. The ninja trainers released their Pokemon, and then ran toward Zach quickly.

Well... Can say this is a first. Zach thought, as he sidestepped a punch from one of the Ninjas, and slammed his elbow into another's face. Meanwhile, Blade stared down the multiple Pokemon, all different Unovan Pokemon, from a Sawk, to a Bisharp, to even Accelgor. Blade then prepared himself, as his arm glowed green, and he leapt forward, even while Cyndy bathed the Accelgor in flames...

 

OOC: In a way, it's good that I kept putting it off, I only just thought of Zach training both himself and his Pokemon now. I have ideas for the first three gyms(Going off Power, Wisdom, Courage/Spirit), but after that, I have no clue. =P Though, in this case, it'd technically be body, mind, and... Hmm. Maybe soul. I'll have to PM you about Castelia's gym. =P

IC: Right, so Hex is apparently more than a little screwed up and violent.Guess I can't complain in this situation, but I'm definitely gonna have to do something about it once we get out of here."Sheesh, is it bad that I'm not at all troubled by that fact right now?" he muttered the question to himself, in a strange sort of disbelief.Well, now that the guard's occupied, I may be able to use this time to find a way out...OOC: I'm tempted to have had him snuck a bobby pin in his shoe or something to use as a lockpick.

Zach dove out of the way of a kick, and then rolled to his feet, as he steadied himself, and took stock of the situation. It was obvious that the ninjas were more skilled than they looked, as the one he had elbowed had quickly recovered. Their Pokemon also lived up to the "ninja" name, as the Accelgor simply vanished upon Cyndy's attack, and then reappeared elsewhere, and the Bisharp was skillfully parrying Blade's sword swipes. It was becoming more and more obvious that this room, with it's green walls forcing close-combat with not much room to fight, was going to make long term planning very difficult. Zach then looked forward, and frowned as he crouched, and then leaped forward toward the ninjas, ready to fight, if that's really what they wanted.

IC:"Dodge!"He wasn't fast enough. Two Ice Shards collided with his stomache, knocking him over."Let's get back up, and Hydro Pump!"From where he lay, Poliwhirl shook his head. Yet another move he didn't know... Hex tossed him a Healing Herb, and he stood again."Double Slap!" Hex ordered.The slightly dazed Poliwhirl leaped at Seel, slapping once from the left...and once from the right.

OOC: Razgriz: Go ahead. :PBlade: True. However, nothing tops Kingdom Hearts memory voodoo.Seriously. =|IC - Ray - TA Base: And... that was it. Seel was knocked back by the attack and knocked out. For his part, Ray didn't seem terribly put down by this -- as a matter of fact it didn't seem to faze him at all as he recalled his Pokemon."Ha; that's not surprising at all..." he said, chuckling. "Guess I should probably get Seel healed again before officially signing in." He turned around, still smiling broadly as he pocketed the picture of his wife and daughter. "See ya later, Ralph!"And with that, he was gone.

[Metal Gear Minun]

IC: After taking necessary precautions James and Guinevere appeared on Four Island. They walked into the base healed his pokemon and walked to James' office for truly the first time since it had been assigned to him. It was a nice room befitting an executive although James did not plan on staying for long.

 

"Alright what is next?" James muttered to himself.

 

You are planning to go out again already?

 

"Of course there is work to do. The Darkrai are running amok over Hoenn, I cannot afford to take a break right now."

 

Alright, Please do not overdo it.

 

"Don't worry Lady Guinevere I will not."

 

IC: "He was... unnerving," she wasn't quite sure how to put it into words but the being she saw was off in ways she could not put into words. Perhaps because she didn't know enough about it.

-==IC: Zach//Striaton Gym==-

 

Zach slammed a fist into one of the Ninja's faces, as Blade blocked a blow from the Bisharp, and Cyndy dodged out of the way of an attack from the Accelgor. Zach was mentally rhyming through different commands, focusing on both an on-the-fly strategy, and giving commands to his Pokemon. He was sending commands to Blade, and Blade then sent one to Cyndy, so there was a little lag between commands, but improvising definitely helped there. Zach swept his leg under one of the Ninja's, however, another fighter kicked Zach back, and knocked him into a wall. He slammed into said wall, and fell to the ground, and then laid there for a moment.

Ow. Zach thought, as he slowly stood up, and then focused again, as he ran toward the combatants again. Cyndy sent a flame attack at the Accelgor again, and this time actually hit it, as the super effective hit blasted it backwards. Due to it only having a makeshift ninja garb for protection, the Accelgor didn't exactly do well to last against the fire attack, and fell to the ground, too damaged to fight from just the one attack. The Ninja recalled him, however, Zach slammed his elbow into the Ninja's face, and forced him back, as he collapsed to the ground, and a moving panel moved him out of the room.

One down; seven to go. Zach thought, as he prepared himself again.

IC: EvanGnip's claws clashed with the Bisharp's blade, her eyes burning with fury. Bashing her head against the bisharp's head knocked him down, but not out."Gnip, STOP.", Evan said in a firm voice, "You done enough damage to him. Time to stop."The fury in the Garchomp's eyes seemed to vanish in a flash, being replaced by their usual kindness. She walked toward her master, before turning to the Bisharp and giving an approving growl that seemed to say, "Thanks for the wonderful fight!""A truly great battle!", Evan said as he and Gnip struck a dynamic pose before returning her, "Your Bisharp is a truly grand fighter! I hope he and Gnip can clash again! Who is next?"

Orange and Senbonzakura stared at Gnip in awe and slight fear, before Senbonzakura collapsed to the ground, exhauster.

"Good work." Orange said, as he recalled the Bisharp, and smiled slightly.

"I think your nickname should be changed to Byakuya. Your current nickname still suits you, but that suits you even better." Orange said, and the Bisharp tiredly nodded from inside his Pokeball.

 

OOC: Imagine their surprise when they find out Zach still hasn't challenged the Gym Leaders yet. xD

 

-==IC: Zach//Striaton Gym==-

 

Zach panted slightly, as he shoved his palm into one Ninja's stomach, and then sent his foot flying into the chest of another ninja. He was starting to get the hang of it, even though he was still reluctant to fight, somewhat. Meanwhile, Blade had just sent a full powered punch into the Bisharp's face, sending it flying backward, and then sending two slashes into the Sawk and throh that rushed at him.

"My master may be reluctant to fight, but I am not, and I have been holding back." Blade stated to the downed Pokemon, as he and Cyndy looked to the Mienfoo, Scrafty, and Escavalier that were left.

I'll take the two, you take the bug. Blade planned, as he ran for the two fighting types, his arms glowing, as he prepared to fight once more, jumping up and teleporting behind them, and then blocking their resultant counter attacks quickly. Zach punched one of the ninjas in the nose, and was tripped by another, as both fell. Zach was nearly brought out of the room with the fallen ninja, however, he pushed off from the ground, and then kicked off the wall, somehow miraculously managing a backflip, though when he landed, he staggered backwards, having never actually done that before, which allowed the ninjas to shove him forward, throwing off his balance even more...

 

OOC: I'll give it two or three more posts, if only because I barely have any time left before the other fight finishes, and I still have two more tests. xD

IC (Cyan):Cyan raced into one of the communications rooms (finally repaired for the most part since the Alamo's invasion many months ago). He ignored the confused looks of several agents, who were trying to decide what he was doing. Cyan rarely ran anywhere, after all.He went over to one of the agents sending communications. "I need to know if the Alamo is receiving communications properly."The agent looked at him, confused. "Yea, of course we are. Why wouldn't we be?"Cyan pulled out a piece of paper and scribbled down the number for Jayron's Poketch+. He handed the paper to the agent. "I need you to try and contact him. It's important."The agent nodded and tried to contact Jayron. Just like Cyan though, all he got was static. The agent frowned. "Perhaps this person you're trying to contact is in a deep cave?"Cyan shook his head. "I doubt that highly. He should be only a couple miles from here. I think something is jamming his signal, which means he's in trouble."He turned to run out, when the agent called to him, "By the way, Silvermind just arrived back at the Alamo. Tell your friend Jayron that it would a good idea if he were there to greet her, since he's an executive now. You should too, considering how much effort you both put into trying to rescue her."Cyan sighed. "Send her Jayron's apologies for me...it's Jayron whom you were just trying to contact. I need to go make sure he is okay. If there are any unoccupied agents nearby, I could probably use their help, just in case.""Oh!" The agent said in surprise, now realizing why Cyan was so worried. "Well, good luck. I do know that there's a spare boat by the docks right now you can use."Cyan nodded and ran out.OOC: If anyone at the Alamo would like to join, you're welcome to. It came easy to him after a childhood filled with hide-and-seek against his parents so he could laze around.His eyes were closed gently. His nose was breathing steadily and slowly in and out. The strategist's body was curled in on itself on the bed.But Joseph Lark was totally aware that the vicious foe was back. And he had no intention of giving away that he had said knowledge.

Ethan was given barely enough time to greet it before the entire group had been teleported again, appearing in the residential section of the Rustboro base.Clean up, change, prepare for an escort mission if you are up for another job, the Alakazam mentally told them, seeming oddly rushed. When you are ready, report to Lady Aris. And with that, he teleported away again."That was weird," Ethan stated, shrugging. "Ah well; no point arguing." Lazily saluting Jamie, he headed toward the nearest locker room. Wonder what's going on...IC - Kyle Eston - Route 2/Striaton City: Kyle held on tightly to Suicune as they arrived at Striaton City, the pair of them essentially a blur as the Legendary Beast ran. He opened an eye when he realized that they were slowing. They had arrived at a forested area; judging from where the city was -- behind them -- he assumed that they were on the northern edge of the place. Suicune seemed to be staring at the northern sky, her eyes glossy."What's up?" he asked.Something in the city directly north of here... she answered slowly, her tone suggesting that she wasn't entirely sure. Suicune was silent for a moment. I'm not entirely sure what it is... but I'm getting a feeling from it... almost like we're supposed to go there... She blinked, slowly turning her body to face that direction. Hm... Do you mind if we head that way?"Is that the direction that Castelia's in?" he asked, concerned. Suicune shook her head. No; not directly, anyway. But it won't throw us too far off the path.Kyle was hesitant to answer for a moment. They needed to get to Castelia and investigate what was going on; that he was set on, and as such he wasn't too thrilled with the idea of changing direction. But if Suicune thought that they needed to go that way... "Are you getting a... a bad feeling?" Suicune shook her head. Kyle paused again. Then, "All right. Then let's see what's going on up north."Suicune nodded. As quickly as possible, she took off again, hurtling through the trees. As they moved, a light flashed on Kyle's Pokétch, though he did not see it.IC - Nine - Oreburgh City: Compared to Mr. Rage, it didn't take long for Nine to locate the new source of power. Now he floated over a girl; he wasn't sure how old she was, though he guessed that she was at least in her mid-teens. She wore worn, dirty cloths; her face, too, was dirty, and bore several small scars and blemishes, partially obscured by the dirt. She was emanating an aura that, eyes closed, Nine saw to be of a sickly green color.And this one is alive, as well.... he marveled. More than alive, in fact... Hm... Carefully, he willed his shadows to envelope the girl, pulling her into a portal. Appearing back with the others, he deposited her in a makeshift bed of darkness, alongside the sleeping boy and Rage.The Darkrai paused. From what he had gathered, the others were still in Fortree, too close for him to locate and take the other two that had been affected. As well, he was not picking up any more energy signatures; either no one else had been turned, or that simply had not happened yet.Deciding to wait and observe, the Darkrai slunk into the corners of the room he had created -- or rather, the pocket dimension he had reshaped into a room. There was no reason to keep them in a place that either Ford or the other Darkrai would find -- that was far too risky. Here, the only trouble he might come across was Sombra -- and that was extremely unlikely.Still, there were pressing questions, none of which Nine had an answer to. Why were these specific people (minus Rage) being affected as they were? In the past, shadow blasts had either killed or put to sleep, never empowered. Even more disturbing was why the others had not yet sensed the presence of those affected -- and if they had, why had they not acted?Nine closed his eyes. Troubling, indeed... though as long as they remain ignorant, this can only benefit me...

IC: Ellen
Ellen looked around as Evan awaited the next challenger. The only ones who hadn't battled yet were herself and the two more inactive members of the group. Artemis leaped forward and landed gracefully on the battlefied.

"Artemis!" Ellen cried in surprise. "Do you really want to battle?"

The Mienfoo nodded with determination. Although Ellen disliked battling, out of all her Pokemon, Artemis had the most natural fighting spirit.

"Well, okay, then," Ellen said, cautiously stepping up to the battlefield to join her Mienfoo. "Just be careful. Start out with a Calm Mind."

Artemis closed her eyes and began to prepare herself for the coming battle, waiting for Evan to send out his next Pokemon.

IC: Dack
The trio of Rockets finally landed at the entrance to Dark Cave, near the outskirts of Violet City.

"Great work, Swellow," Dack said, returning the Pokemon to its Pokeball. "And now it's time for Luxio to help shed some light on this mystery," he added, sending out Luxio.

"You might want to take this," Hannah told Ben, handing him a flashlight. "Just incase you get seperated."

IC: EvanEvan threw out the pokeball that contained Behemoth, his Swinub.The swinub growled at the Mienfoo, ready to battle."Ice Shard!" Evan said as his Swinub flash-froze the moisture in front of him and launched the resulting chunk of ice at the Mienfoo.....

IC: Ellen
Artemis elegantly leaped out of the way of the oncoming ice chunk.

"Great work, Artemis!" Ellen cheered. "Now use Force Palm!"

The Mienfoo held up a hand, directing a small burst of energy from it toward the Swinub.

Zach panted, as he slammed his fist into one of the ninja's faces.

Five... Zach thought, and jumped backward, as another ninja tried to kick him. As the ninja flew past, Zach simply held out his arm, and effectively clotheslined the person, causing him to groan. Zach slammed his hand into the back of the ninja's neck, to make sure he was unconscious, as the moving floor panels moved out the two unconscious ninjas. Zach then ran toward the remaining four, and shot his hands out at two of them. He hit his targets, slamming his palms into two of their noses, probably breaking them, and causing the two to crumple to the floor, groaning in pain. Zach frowned, and sighed, as he looked at the last two. They looked at each other and began to back away, however, Zach drove his elbow into the stomach of one of them, and then kneed that person in the chin. He then shifted his position slightly, and kicked the other person in the chin, causing him to fly back into a wall, and then slump to the ground. Zach panted, as applause could be heard over the speakers.

"Good job. That's one of three tests completed. Move forward." The voice said, and Zach groaned, but recalled his Pokemon, and walked through the door that opened, leading onward.

IC: FeralFeral noted that was no response. One would think that after how one of the prisoners reacted when he "devoured" that other prisoner, he'd be quaking in fear. Feral decided to grab a small piece of the floor that was worn down enough to break off and threw it at the sleeping prisoner."Real or faking it.", Feral thought, "This will grab his attention."IC: Evan"Take the hit!", Evan said, striking a pose, "Follow up with Take Down!"The Swinub took the blast head on, and a bit dazed, ran up to the Mienfoo and tackled him hard...

IC: "Ooow...," Lark moaned groggily. He twitched a little bit, even going so far as to open his eyes lazily to keep up the mask. But upon seeing the person who had caused him to fake waking up, the trainer squeezed them back shut.

[Relapse]

IC: Still under the guise of a guard, Hex leaned against a wall while Feral entered the prison cell. His hand was on not a Pokeball, but a gun. Apparently he was dangerous. He'd killed the girl earlier, letting Hex create a convincing deception. He could continue the facade. One deception could only lead to another.After all, deception was the most important thing to him.

[Dr. Hidaka]

IC: Feral"Rise and shine!", Feral said in a devilishly cheerful voice, slamming the door shut, "I hope you remember me because I remember you! You're that one person, who made a big deal of that woman being killed, right? Well, as her "Executioner", I really must state the truth: she isn't dead."

OOC: That was actually Hex, but Lark'll play along.IC: Lark did not open his eyes. But his ears...Ever-so-slowly...Turned towards said 'executioner'."What have you done with Jennifer," he breathed, voice only audible due to the fact that no one else was making a move. "What did you do to her."

"Oh, no!" Ellen cried as Artemis was struck by the Take Down attack.

Even as Swinub rammed into her, the Mienfoo struck her opponent with Pound. Pushing off from Swinub with the force of the Pound attack, Artemis backflipped away. She landed near Ellen, a little fazed by the attack but still eager to continue the battle.

"Alright, Artemis," Ellen said. "Let's go with a Swift attack!"

The Mienoo nodded and send a flurry of star-shaped energy at the Swinub.

All he needed was a few, but why not go for a bigger deal. After all, the more, the merrier.....IC: Evan and Behemoth"Ice Shard barrage at the Swift.", Evan said calmly, smiling, "Then a Take Down again!"The Swinub flash froze even more moisture, creating a great deal of ice chunks. The swinub forced them forward, several hitting the blasts. He got struck by a few beams, but that did not matter. All that mattered was taking this foe down....The swinub then ran towards the Mienfoo, jumping up as he reached him, knocking the Mienfoo down......

IC: Lark closed his lids for a second. Then the prisoner made the slightest of nods."That I can do."He opened his eyes again. This time, they were locked on the other trainer's."We have a deal."

"Thanks" Ben said taking the flashlight. He looked at the entrance to Dark Cave. Nothing could be seen from the exterior. "Come on out Umbreon. Use your rings to make light."Alex finally saw it, land. Unova. Raikou is that it!? Raikou let out a chuckle. Why yes it is. Alex could see huge buildings and bridges. This place was very advanced. Raikou hit the shore. Alex pulled up a map and using its tracking device it said they were at Nuvema Town. Thank you again for all your help I wish there was some way to repay you! It hit Raikou lightly and pulled it into the ball with red energy. It wobbled a couple times and then clicked. Sending a message to Ryan letting him know this he began to explore.

Artemis tried to leap out of the way of the Take Down, but was taken by surprise when the Swinub jumped at the end of his attack. The Mienfoo took the hit hard, but managed to pick herself up.

"Are you alright?" Ellen asked in concern. Artemis nodded with a slight grimace. "Alright, then, use another Force Palm!"

Artemis wearily raised her arm to emit another burst of energy.

IC: Ryan
As Ryan watched Ellen's battle, his Pokegear beeped with a message from Alex, saying he had arrived in Nuvema Town. Ryan sent a reply stating that he and the rest of the group were at the Dreamyard near Striaton City.

IC: Dack
Dack, Ben, and Hannah entered the cave, using Luxio and Umbreon for light. Even with the light, it was difficult to see more than a few feet away. As they headed deeper into the cave, Dack started to wonder if they'd ever find their way out of this natural maze if they got lost.

Shaking his head, he pushed his fears from his mind. The only thing that mattered now was finding Karen.

IC:Hex's face appeared shocked from behind Feral as he heard Jennefir was still alive. He decide to keep up the facade he'd need to get involved."Joseph Lark, chief guard for this section." he introduced himself instantly from behind the monster, "And if anyone causes commotion..."He lifted his face mask."...It's going to be me."

IC: Feral"Well, I'm happy to say that it's a deal then.", Feral said to the newcomer, "You can help cause as much chaos as you want."Feral grinned, these two and their friends could help him a lot with his plans......IC: Evan"Hrm!", Evan said, striking another dynamic pose, "Behemoth, Mud Slap!"The Swinub tackled the ground, causing mud to hit the Mienfoo in the eyes. This, however, did not make the Force Palm missed. Behemoth was knocked out by the blast...."Hahahaha!", Evan said, smiling warmly, "Your pokemon fights with fire in it's heart!"Returning Swinub, Evan was about to tell the group that the match was over, but then Landorus appeared out of his poke ball."Master Tierra, will you let me fight as well?" Landorus said in an eager voice.....

"Great job, Artemis!" Ellen grinned. The Mienfoo returned her smile, but was obviously tired from the battle. "Artemis is too worn out to continue," Ellen said, looking up at the great Landorus. "Besides, I don't think any of my Pokemon have the power to go up against a Legendary Pokemon such as yourself."

Artemis scoffed a bit at this remark before realizing that Ellen was probably right.

"Does anyone else want to go?" Ellen asked, turning back to the rest of the group.

IC - Kyle Eston - White Forest, southeastern section: They had traveled a good distance from Striaton, but both Suicune and Kyle had noticed the trees beginning to thicken around them the further they moved. As such it wasn't long before she had slowed and suggested that they rest for a while, Kyle agreeing quite eagerly.Sliding off of the Legendary Beast's back once they had arrived in a clearing, the Liberty agent got to work, setting up a small campsite with whatever materials he had. Once his sleeping bag had been unrolled and a fire started using Jaeda's abilities, he sat down, tired from everything that had occurred that day. Across from his, Suicune lay down, staring into the trees. Her fur glowed in the light from the fire, creating a beautiful aura-like effect."How long do you think it'll take to get there?" Kyle asked after a while, once he had warmed up by the fire.Not long... Suicune answered. I'd expect to be there in a couple of hours tomorrow.Kyle nodded, looking back at the fire. A few moments later he looked at his Poketch to check the time, finally noticing the message from Liberty HQ. Opening it, he began to read the contents, glad to find that they contained the details from Richie's mission in Unova.Searching for information on Ford? Kyle thought as he read deeper into it, his confusion growing. In Unova...?IC - Sonja Baron - Abandoned Factory: Breaking from her mental reliquary, Sonja looked at Thomas and Justin. Both seemed to be in their own worlds at the moment; either that or they simply weren't interested in battling. On top of that, the sun was beginning to set. "If we don't head back to the city now then we're going to end up without a place to stay for the night, and that's no good." She paused, noticing someone was missing. The place was certainly busy, and noticeably fuller than usual; as a result, and partially due to whatever was going on, it was more chaotic than these places tended to be.Still, that wasn't a problem, at least for him. Once he received his new mission, he could simply head out and be done with whatever was going on here. Arriving at the entrance to the place, he decided to wait for a little while longer, so as to see if Jamie or any of the others were going to take on this mission as well.Wonder what the mission could be, he thought, leaning against the wall. Among the Rocket agents watching them was Koga; behind the chopper, another flew, in which more agents -- including Surge and Sabrina -- were housed.Having accepted the job of becoming Team Rocket's newest Elites, the three Gym Leaders had quickly been assigned a team. Koga recognized a few of the names -- Portman, Bryan, Jennings, and Rall -- but the others... the others were unknown to him. Not that it mattered. Inevitably, some would be injured or killed and replaced, anyway; there was little point in learning their names.Taking a seat again, he closed his eyes. Each saluted quickly, with a short, "Sir." The Fourth saluted them back. Ford merely nodded."Report," he ordered. "You've all been busy lately; that much is obvious. What all has occurred?" He looked at Pierce. "Pierce, you start."Pierce nodded. "Mr. Ford, sir, I would like to apologize for my lack of an update; the Darkrai and Team Liberty have been keeping me busy," he said. "The Ancients recently arrived and have begun working to cover the region in darkness; roughly a third of Hoenn has fallen to them already, and I estimate that it will only be a matter of days before the rest of the region falls. Citizen evacuations have been done, but we have not engaged them directly, just as ordered. Instead, our efforts have been aimed at quelling the remnants of the Liberty, Rocket, and more recently, Team Aqua rebels. Progress is going smoothly.""Good," Ford said. "Anything of higher importance to speak of?""One thing, sir," Pierce replied. "A Liberty Executive, James Arthur, recently managed to break into the Hojohsin League's primary headquarters; however, I managed to repel him without losing or giving away any information. We are hunting him at this very moment.""Curious..." the Shadowed Man said quietly, rubbing his chin. Seeming to push the situation from his mind, he looked at Hayes. "How goes your operation?"Hayes shrugged rather boredly. "I had a run-in with Evan Tierra," she stated simply.Ford frowned. "And?""And I subdued him," Hayes answered, shrugging again. "Depressingly easily, to be honest. Don't worry, though," she added upon seeing Ford's raised eyebrow. "He doesn't know what's going on, nor does anyone else -- I'm still an anomaly to the police. I should probably let you know, however, that I've recruited a helper from Team Energon. No doubt he'll become a loose end once all is said and done, but I'll be sure to deal with that problem once all is said and done."Ford nodded. Like Adams, he didn't always agree with Hayes's methods, though they produced results. As such, he was willing to overlook them on occasion. He turned to Adams, the Third. "And you?""Mewtwo is stable," she said. "He'll be ready to begin training in a few days."Ford nodded again. "Excellent." He looked at the screens as a whole now. "Be sure to keep up your reports; now is not the time to begin breaking down. You are dismissed." Hayes and Adams both nodded, their screens turning off. Pierce remained and was silent for a moment, seeming to be reading a paper on his desk. Ford managed to get his attention with a sharp call."Sorry, sir," Pierce apologized, picking up the paper. "I've just received a report, however... Apparently a Darkrai has been detected in several places across Hoenn and Sinnoh, picking up small energy signatures and then disappearing again. Power levels suggest it's Nine, but he's gone from the radar for the moment..." He looked at Ford. Seeing his leader's expression, the First shrugged. "I'm sure it's nothing.""That would be best," Ford said. "Regardless, notify us if you find anything else."Pierce nodded. "Roger that." IC: Lark closed his eyes again. The teenager sighed, then lazily sat back and got in the same position as he had earlier."You should leave," Joseph suggested casually. "I doubt you wish to be here when things go ballistic. This prison is already incendiary enough to vaporize a small town."

IC: From inside the cell, one could hear the sounds of another teen slowly awakening. "Mornin'" Tim said, with a yawn and small stretch, having dozed off for a little."Did I miss anything?" He asked, rubbing his eyes open and throwing a few swift jabs and crosses to get the blood flowing.
