List of 2021’s Bionicle Lego Ideas Projects 3.0

Hi, guys! I made a new list of Bionicle Lego Ideas projects. Some of them are in good shape in terms of supporters, but for those with small amounts of days left, not so sure. Here is the list: 

1. 6 Heroes, 1 Destiny - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/c72f5ca0-4c21-41b3-a7ae-3639a84cdf02/comments_tab#content_nav_tabs . It’s new, and basically the Toa Mata. 
2. Toa Head Statue - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/4daf2cfe-314a-4fb2-8cf0-5900f97ebff4 . It’s a statue of a Toa Mata in 2001. 
3. Mata Nui Map - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/25b1823a-8271-4f50-a39a-0179b5700af7 . It’s a map of the island of Mata Nui. 
4. The Great Spirit Robot - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/0c310848-b5eb-4d71-85b6-258bc99b0b73 . It’s a giant set representing the Great Spirit Mata Nui. This guy has the most amount of supporters. 
5. Takua’s Journey - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/9f542c70-311a-4395-8e81-a99552c36073 . It’s about Takua’s adventures on the island of Mata Nui. 
6. Battle for the Mask of Life - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/df52d60c-1c9c-451b-9564-8ee1d2753a36 . It’s about that battle in Kini-Nui in Bionicle: Mask of Light. 
7. Toa Tahu Awakens - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b4587528-e306-411b-9113-86dc7cdc7fb1 . It’s basically Tahu awakening from from his Toa Canister on the island of Mata Nui. 
8. Memory Cube - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/32e25e60-a97a-4139-8cce-b4bf6967aafc . It’s a cube that is based on Bionicle. 
9. Storytelling in Brick form - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b5456207-ed0d-4f44-a02b-b0dae424158e . It’s based on the final moments of the Mata Nui Online Game. 
10. Toa in the Temple of Time - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/4fe87789-0310-4955-bee8-109a7d7034ff . It’s basically the Toa Mata during an adventure in a temple. That thing is halfway there to 10k supporters, but this project needs a lot of help. I hope you guys could do it. Promote it if you have to. 
11. Skopio XV-1 Exo-Toa - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/49468571-cb69-4cfe-9d67-82b20f414cca . It’s basically an Exo-Toa version of the Skopio XV-1. 
12. Legend of Bionicle - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/5287b9f6-c46d-44c6-b696-a13b93a42290 . It has some 2001 and 2008 stuff. 
13. 25th anniversary in Sitcom - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/d1a5f2a3-b6d6-4b7a-899f-aad3b2a7c55e . It’s based on a sitcom and at the wrong time. 
14. Ice Dragon - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b7df6ff6-7fe5-45f8-912c-23bad77671d1 . It’s an ice-based dragon. 
15. 90th anniversary Fan Vote - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/1f7a1792-2832-4344-ae6d-c889986da8c6 . It’s Tahu fighting against three mini-figures. 
16. The Ancient Temple - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/c40192ac-0c3a-4bf3-9175-f0aa0fa7397d . It’s Kini-Nui with the Toa Mata and Turaga Vakama. 
 

There you have it. Let’s go support these guys to celebrate Bionicle’s 20th anniversary!

The best one, In my humble opinion, is the great spirit robot. it was built by a talented builder, that's for sure.

All it needs is a Red Star... I wonder how big it's actually meant to be? Backpack sized, or bigger?

I know you are being sarcastic but I will tell you anyway that if added it would likely be the size of a Kraata container. The Robot is hardly big, only large enough to highlight the many details lost in a smaller model.

I think there is a reason many don't want to support it and that is that it is a made up scene, fanon models are awesome but hardly the subject for a sole tribute to Bionicle. Same with things like that Skorpio, nice Moc but it shouldn't have been uploaded, it's hardly a subject meriting a set. Thank you anyway for compiling a list, it is certainly interesting seeing the long list and the variety of approaches.

I think there is a reason many don't want to support it and that is that it is a made up scene, fanon models are awesome but hardly the subject for a sole tribute to Bionicle. Same with things like that Skorpio, nice Moc but it shouldn't have been uploaded, it's hardly a subject meriting a set. Well, sometimes, people don’t keep up the topic for a year. It’s not a hot topic, but I gotta keep it up to make sure I get someone supporting the projects. The projects are so good that they shouldn’t go to waste.

A backpack next to a 40cm robot, I still don't think it would be that big, I always imagined it like a backpack for the GSR, so Kraata to Slizer container sized for a 40cm robot.

Apologies for reading it as sarcastic, sometimes I read too much into posts when there's normally a pattern.

People upload to Lego Ideas with the understanding that their creations might not reach 10,000 votes, but they still do it anyway. There's nothing "wasteful" about it.

Oh yeah, that's a thing, isn't it. Even if we did all vote on them, there's not enough people active on the forum any more to even make a dent in their numbers, even with the guests that are browsing daily (and I suspect a fraction of those are probably bots). Even the projects that are over half-way there wouldn't see any significant rise in their support numbers.

No offense, but I don't think most of the projects are that great to support it. It either doesn't look all that good (like 6 Heroes, 1 Destiny, Battle for the Mask of Life or any other brickbuild characters) or doesn't make sense (like the ice dragon or the Skopio XV-1 Exo-Toa) many of the sets also use parts that are no longer available from Lego.

The only two sets that I think are alright are the Toa Head Statue and the Great Spirit Robot. But even then, the number of people who would support something like this is simply far too small. In addition, we must not forget that the implementation of these projects can sometimes vary greatly from the original build.

Bad news. That project called Toa in the Temple of Time got expired. Pitiful. Grumblebricks should have updated his project more. It was over 5,500 supporters.
