Hapori Tohu
If you use the LEGO Building Instructions app, expect to see an update soon! This past week the company announced that starting December 13th a new Beta Building Experience would be launching in the program. Based on an idea from AFOL Dominik Brachmanski, six sets will support the ability to 'build together,' allowing groups of people to use the app on their individual devices to build collaboratively. Their sessions will be synced together and at certain points during the build they'll be instructed to pass their portion on to the next person so they can continue. Many sets feature multiple smaller builds or sub-assemblies that get added to the main build, so the idea makes sense. I can definitely see where it would be a very time-intensive effort to update instructions to allow this sort of activity, so major props to them for exploring it! You can read more about the effort in the official press release.View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
