Raffles Supporting Ukrainian Refugees

Recommended Posts

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has resulted in millions fleeing their country, becoming refugees throughout the world. Today we are starting two raffles to raise money to donate to The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), through a US-based non-profit, to help the many displaced citizens impacted by the conflict. Please consider participating in the 2009 Movie Style Guide Raffle and Bionicle Prototype Raffle, where we're offering some rare Bionicle memorabilia. In addition, I will be matching up to $500 of donations in each of the raffles, doubling the help you all will be providing. The winners will be selected on May 8th. Good luck and thank you all for your generosity!

Surprising that the style guide has fewer people so far than the prototype pieces, but I guess not everyone shares my media-focused obsession.

It's awesome to participate. It might sound silly, but I've avoiding donating to any charities relevant to the Ukraine crisis because it's just so hard to tell who you can trust, but I trust BZP.

We did do some research to make sure the charity we were donating too will actually be providing assistance, and it is well-recommended by multiple sources. I appreciate you trusting us!

There's a big Ukranian population in the part of Pennsylvania that I live in, and the local Ukranian community organization has contacts for donating directly to the Ukranian National Guard. I figure you guys already have everything set but let me know if you need any other pointers.
