Skull Army

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone. I don't know if this was asked before on this forum, i apologize if it did. But i have a question about Bionicle 2015-2016 storyline, regarding Skull Army. As far as i can understand, Kulta, and Skull Basher were (and are) okotans (or species related to them). They had a crew of Skull Raiders. My first question is whether they were consisted just of two of them, or they were more. If so, what happend with them?

Another thing i want to know is: where did skull warriors come from? Are they dead okotans brought back to life by Makuta? I read on BS01 that Kulta left his underground confinement, and began raising an army of undead creatures. If he had his Skull raiders why didn't he just recruited them? Perhaps there were some explanations given to this content in Bionicle books (namely Bionicle Escape from the Underworld) but i havent read them, so maybe if some of you did, explain it to me please.

SO the Skull Army was formed from an earlier group called the Skull Raiders. BS01 says that they were a band of pirates that were defeated by Ekimu. BS01 also says that they spoke their own language and couldnt understand Okotan, so they were probably not related to the Okotans. Other than Kulta and Basher we do know of one other Skull Raider that the books introduced: Axato. It appears that Axato assumed command of the remaining Skull Raiders after their original defeat, causing Kulta to resort to resurrecting the corpses of his earlier army in 2015. It is also worth noting that the Skull Slicer was an Okotan champion that was revived and controlled by a skull spider.
