Where did you find this image?  I’m pretty sure I remember that the 2007 character bio animations featured an Ehlek that looked something like this, but that’s pretty much the only time I’ve seen this guy.  It really looks like the only things that changed were the head mould and the squid launcher design.  I wonder if this squid launcher design would work better…  It could be neat to try to design it and 3D print it tbh

My big takeaway from this is that apparently the axle in Ehlek's claw was supposed to be part of the piece.

That’s a good point about the axle.  I wonder how that would’ve worked in his other hand as it needs to hold both the claw and the squid launcher on the same axis

The prototype Squid Launcher looks flatter than the final one, so there might have been enough space.
