What is your favorite Jaller set and why?

I’m going to be the only who picks Toa Inika Jaller. I just think he looked perfect in his Inika form like Matoro, Hahli, Nuparu, Hewkii and Kongu did in there Inika forms.

In terms of nostalgia, I would have to do: Tohunga > Mahri > Matoran > Inika, but I think a lot of that has to do with the associated games having that same ranking for me.

In terms of the Toa designs, by themselves, they seem pretty comparable, even having the same legs. But it's funny when you put them in the context of their teams how Jaller Inika is often overlooked for just being one of the clones, and Jaller Mahri, though his multi-part chest design is okay, mostly gets the brownie points for the rest of his team using different designs. The trans-orange joints on the former and the Hahnah crab on the latter have to be my favorite design features.

For the non-toa designs, Jala obviously lacks the ability to be posed. Jaller has plenty, but it almost seems like too much unless you lock his shoulders and improve the rigidity of his leg to torso connection.

For the masks, the Hau is just hard to beat. The Calix, like the other Kanohi Inika, were just a little too different than everything else before it. It's cool that the Arthon is dual color, but the actual design is also meh for me.

I voted for Inika. It was a pretty hard choice, though; they're all nostalgic to me for different reasons. There's just something special about Jaller Inika's trans-red limb pieces though that I was just fascinated by when the set was first released.

I like the 2003 Matoran the best. It feels very him. Toa Mahri does a good job of representing that vibe in toa form, and even keeps the animal factor.
