bioniclegood Posted January 7 Posted January 7 honestly i'd either be a regular matoran or a po-matoran chronicler. remember "Sometimes a hero has to do something else besides beat the villains and come home covered in glory. Sometimes, he has to make a sacrifice so that a lot of people he's never met before and who don't know his name can live." - toa hahli, downfall Quote
That Matoran with a Vahi Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I'd chose to simply be a Matoran on Mata Nui. No location in the Bionicle universe ever captured my imagination like that island, and even for all the dangers of Rahi and Bohrok and what-have-you... well, as Hahli also said, "Never have any been as blessed as we are, to live in such a paradise." I'd want to live in that paradise, too. Specifically... possibly in Onu-Koro, which I've always liked the atmosphere of - as well as being the city with best connection to the other Koro, too, making it easy to travel to see the sights, especially with the benefit of their famed taxi crab service! - but I feel like I'd also love to live in Ga-Koro which seems to be one of the most homey of the Koro; or perhaps Po-Koro because I vibe more with their principle of creativity, even though the desert wouldn't be my first choice of environment to live in! Mostly this, though I'd like to be a Toa. Toa of Water sounds nice. Ga-Koro has always been one of my favorite locations, and water has always been one of my favorite elements. Nato G Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I feel like the realistic answer is that if I were sent to the Bionicle Universe I would probably just die. Most of the story's world is a lawless post-apocalyptic dystopia filled with horrible monsters and overpowered villains. There are very few places to live where my life wouldn't consist of significant hardship and constant fights for survival. To that end, if I had to be something I'd probably want to be a Makuta. At least then I'd have the power to avoid or overcome most of the awful coming my way. There are very few places to live where my life wouldn't consist of significant hardship and constant fights for survival. For real. I'm reading one of Greg's pre-BIONICLE books, The River of God, and the man is just obsessed with crafting the most nightmarishly awful places possible for sapient life to inhabit. This is how he describes the city of Pelsen on the planet Haven: "...a blasted ****** where the fighting was house to house. Anywhere two stones stood together was considered cover. There were shortages of food and water, disease was rampant, and the fires that burned now would rage for days" (pp. 56-57). As with Star Wars, the best-off people were probably those who experienced nothing plot-relevant. Just a random scholar or mask maker on Metru Nui during the golden age, a random trader on Spherus Magna before the Element Lords, or someone on the Northern Continent (not the Tren Krom Peninsula) just minding his business. Mushy the Mushroom Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I’d hopefully be some happy little weirdo of a Mctoran, living as a crafts creature and hermit-recluse (as a profession. Akin to singer-songwriter.), likely in some acorn shaped upcycled hut in a forest, hopefully with my equally odd and antisocial Mctoran mother and brother. Having wings would be a bonus. And if there were friendly-rahi (like farm animal types?) around the area and cared for by locals for trade and food, t’would certainly be a Bionicle cottagecore dream to me. ❤️😆 Quote Member-Made Emote Topic Original Mush art thanks to @Bambi

The hyper focus wouldn't let me give up on the idea until I made this: 1 Quote Close up of a Camembert Cheese on Wooden Table by Laker on Pexels

Definitely would leave the recluse to visit a venue like that. This place ( and IKEA ) are special. 🥹❤️👏 1 Quote Member-Made Emote Topic Original Mush art thanks to @Bambi
