Underscore Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 2.5/5 decent instrumental and vocal wise, but nothing's really jumping out at me Quote
Tarn Posted April 14, 2017 Posted April 14, 2017 4/5, opening notes gave me chills which was weird and the whole song is really cool. super atmospheric. those vocals were pretty gr8 too Quote [BZPRPG] (shout out to max)
Laughing Man Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 3/5 - this sounds like something they'd play in Kmart. catchy, though. Quote
The Hip Historian Iaredios Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 5/5That was pretty darn cool. I love it when orchestral gets some electronic touches too it. Thanks for the tunes! Laughing Man Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 2.5/5 - this band really needs to stop forever writing the same generic power metal song over and over again Quote
Toa Imrukii Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 3.4/5, it's alright. It's kinda rough around the edges and needs some refining. Laughing Man Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 (edited) 2/5 - the only thing worse than cheesy generic power metal is a cheesy generic power metal ballad also lol @ saying the punk song is too rough around the edges and needs refinement (sidenote: Johnny Truant, I know you're viewing the topic. you should listen to the last song I posted) Edited May 14, 2017 by Astaroth Quote
Tarn Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 5/5 i've been meaning to listen to this album, it sounds so frickin' good (i was gonna do a different song but i've been digging this track lately and it's relevant to me at the moment for reasons that may involve jojo) Quote [BZPRPG] (shout out to max)

Laughing Man Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 4/5 - pretty nice, catchy alt-rock. kinda reminds me of Letters to Cleo, especially in the vocals. Quote
Johnny Truant Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 (edited) wew those are some powerful BREEsdrumming is magnificent, great instrumentation 4/5 overall i have never heard a Sleepwalkin' progression with such heavy bass 10 bucks says this is about bethst coastentino Edited May 26, 2017 by Johnny Truant Quote only in dreams.
The Hip Historian Iaredios Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 2/5Is it meant to be that weird, bad quality? Lyrics are OK I guess. Seems befitting as Fallout background music, or background music in general. Be sure to listen to it loud. Toa Imrukii Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 4/5 Reminds me of something I'd listen to growing up that my dad, or just family in general, would play. The Hip Historian Iaredios Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 3/5Not bad, but I wouldn't seek it out. Reminds me of the music for the game FTL. Laughing Man Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 (edited) 3/5. would've been a 4/5 since it's one of the better tracks from that album but I deducted a point because the lyric video is terrible. Edited June 1, 2017 by Astaroth Quote
Queen of Liars Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 4/5 Very nice ethereal vocals and production Quote ___ ___ ___
Johnny Truant Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 4/5 i wouldnt seek it out but i dont hate it Quote only in dreams.
The Hip Historian Iaredios Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 4/5 - Music fit for Neil Gaiman's Sandman (your sig fits as well). Wouldn't seek it out but it sounds good (couldn't understand every other word though). Quote A RUDE AWAKENING - A Spherus Magna redo | Tzais-Kuluu | Pushing Back The Tide | Last Words | Black Coronation | Blue Man Bound | Visions of Thasos ن We are all but grey specks in a dark complex before a single white light
Toa Imrukii Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 A definite 4/5 at least. I think the highest I would rate it is a 4.8/5, would most likely listen to it again, and get addicted to it for a while. Queen of Liars Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 3.5/5 Ooh, this is a quite a bit better than their most recent album. The vocals are kinda not great, but the instrumentation is very good. Quote ___ ___ ___
Makuta of Time Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 5/5 I love the instrumentation and vocals on the song. Really a nice catchy song. Quote
Queen of Liars Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 3.5/5 Not what I expected when I clicked on a Celldweller song, but this is solid. His vocals suit this style of music quite well. Quote ___ ___ ___
Evergrey: Toa of Music Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 4.25/5- Very addicting hook, very good overall band sound. I love how it mixes a variety of sounds musically into a cohesive product! Makuta of Time Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 4/5 It's a very nice and unique song. I like the guitar effects used in the song and Phil Collin's vocals are always amazing. Quote
Underscore Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 3.5/5 a little like stoner rock the way it builds up. Pretty good, probably not something I'd go out of my way to listen to though Quote
Johnny Truant Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 4/5 thats pretty groovy, ill probably listen to more of them Quote only in dreams.
Queen of Liars Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 2.5/5 It's a vocal style that I'm really not very fond of, but the instrumentation is solid enough. Quote ___ ___ ___
fasggbfrfesv Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 The guitar sounds massively influenced by The Cure to me. And the percussion, actually. I don't dig the vocals or overall style though. It's upbeat, sort of thing you could dance to, if you dance, but not something I'd listen to normally - maybe the lyrics add something in their original language, but I can't detect any soul or heart in it. Please forgive me for not listening to all of it, I listened to the first track and then skimmed the rest. xP 3/5 Quote
Johnny Truant Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 (edited) 3/5 not my thing but its v pleasant and pretty the vocals will probably turn most off of this entirely if this is indeed the case, just make it to 2:52, that riff is the main point of this post tbhplus the instrumentation of all dananananaykroyd songs is superb Edited August 9, 2017 by Johnny Truant Quote only in dreams.
Evergrey: Toa of Music Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 I'm giving it a solid 2.5/5. The vocals didn't turn me off, but the overall style did. It's just not my thing. The guitar part at 2:52, like you said though, is very good. That part alone is a good 4/5, but the rest of the song just didn't appeal to my ears. Quote Other great bands: Iron Maiden Journey Mercenary The Unguided Trivium Boston Stratovarius Symphony X Epica
tahukan Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) 3.5/5 I'm not a fan of Phill Collins personally but nevertheless, I'm still impressed by him. I wouldn't listen to it in my free time but I could definitely dance to it. 1:00-1:25 is the best part of the song overall imo Edited August 13, 2017 by Tahukan Quote
