WeatherDragon
My first real picture created with Microsoft Paint and GIMP (I just started using GIMP, by the way ).It depicts Kairu saying greetings to the Spirits (one of which is his Sensei) as they make their annual movement across the stars.http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaKanar/BNG/Avatars/sayinggreetingstothespirits.jpg Quote "Remember the Heart of NINJAGO."I might eat you if you get too close >:
FrozenFlash
I really like the colors on this one. The sky is absolutely gorgeous and the stars are pretty cool. Also, Kairu is nicely done.
Meiko
Very nice! Great job with the colors and perspective. Did you custom make the starry background or is it from somewhere else? Did you custom make the starry background or is it from somewhere else?I created it myself in GIMP. A fantastic software, that is. I really love that sky. I recomend however, you add some detail on that hill he's standing on.EDIT: Cool you did make it yourself. ~Gravity Edited June 1, 2012 by Gravity Caiox

All of the things I tried looked unrealistic. Quote "Remember the Heart of NINJAGO."I might eat you if you get too close >:
Soran
I really like the sky and the perspective as well. It looks really nice. Here is some advice from a fellow gimp user. Gimp is like Photoshop except free. You can download brushes and stuff. Something you could try to do is download maybe some grass brushes of different kinds and word your way from there. Also, what you could do for a shadow is instead of just drawing out the shadow like you did, you could copy and paste the person, fill the selection with black/dark blue, lower the opacity of the selection, flip is vertically, and then use the perspective tool and get it to look the way you want it to.~Soran

Then again, I was in MS paint when I created the shadow, not GIMP. Not like that would have changed anything.
