An Extra Little Weapon

Her eyes snapped open. She was dying. “Toa Tahu – go get help!” she shouted, rising to her feet and dashing out the door.

Tahu sat up, confused. Then he felt it – the pull of his life energy being drained away…

* * *

“Give me the answer!” bellowed the Tahtorak.

“The answer is simple” said Turaga Vakama. “You were transported to Metru Nui and fell out of the sky. My Toa team subdued you.”

“Give me the whole answer!”

“What is the question?”

“Give me the answer!”

Vakama turned aside to Nokama, who stood slightly behind him. “I seem to be making little progress.”

Nokama shook her head. “Perhaps he is distressed from so much travel.”

“It is a shame, or we would make a great agent of him.” The two Turaga faced a floating form, glowing eerily in the chill of the night. “If you don’t mind, I know this beast.”

“Give me the answer! Give it to me now!”

Brutaka knelt in front of the Tahtorak, absentmindedly stroking the beast’s neck. “The answer is-“

Sixteen Toa ran past the group.

“ – that I put you in a dimensional portal using my mask –“

Toa of all shapes and elements dashed past, running away from an old, clanking machine. Its face turned to the left and right at regular intervals, and arms on its shell moved at the same rate. It rolled along on sand treads, advancing after the Toa.

“-which transported you to Metru Nui.”

“You are the answer! Give it to me now!” The Rahi charged the prison bars, which were weakened by exposure to Brutaka’s substance, shoving Brutaka down and into the ground with its forelegs.

Brutaka struggled, sending rivelets of shadow into the being’s face. Starled, the Tahtorak leaped off the being that it had held prisoner, battering him with his mighty tail toward the Turaga, who wisely elected to get out of the way. Shadow energy flared as Brutaka stumbled to his feet, sprinting away from the massive Rahi. Racing around a tight turn, he caught sight of the machine chasing the Toa around the city.

The Tahtorak, however, had other ideas. Leaping over Brutaka, it crashed down on the robot…only to see the robot vanish below itself. The robot reformed in front of the Rahi, still in pursuit of the Toa.

“I…am…Marendar. I…sense…Toa. Toa...must…be…destroyed. Please…do…not…interfere.”

In ignorance of the statement, the Tahtorak leaped on top of the robot again. It was met with a pulse blast in mid-leap, sending it in an awkward writhing plunge through the air.

* * *

“Tahu” Gali huffed, “do something!” The Tahtorak’s attacks had slowed the robot down, enough that he aught to try…

Tahu vanished.

Gali ran, trying to launch a sphere of water again, only to still find that it still wasn’t working…

* * *

“I really don’t like unexpected houseguests.”

“I’m sorry – it wasn’t my fault! A teleportation, out of nowhere – “

“Get out of my chair.”

“I can explain-“

Tahu swatted the Matoran with the flat of his blade, sending him tumbling out of the chair.

A couple Kestora rounded the corner. “Guards, take him away.” He turned to look through a viewing scope, aimed at the landscape below.

“Sir, don’t press the red button. The last time I did that-“

Tahu pressed the red button.

* * *

Lightening lanced from the Red Star, smashing into Marendar. It exploded spectacularly, hurling metal parts in all directions, one of which impacted Gali’s back. “Tahu, what did I tell you about using chain lightning when there’s other Toa about?”

“Tahu?”

“Tahu?”

* * *

“I’ll be finding a way to get you and your oversized aquarium out of here.”

“They’re such beautiful creatures.” Marvah said, watching a sea snake rear up in all of its awesome glory. “You can’t possibly move them so soon – they will go into shock!”

Tahu shook his head. “That…was my living room.”

This is a bit of an experiment. Basically, when I was writing my LSO entry I tried to make something better than what I had and ended up with this. This is a bit too original for that, so that’s why it’s on its own. C&C appreciated.

All that.
That's about the whole thing. I'm sorry my story wasn't clear. :(So I'll go from the beginning. Gali wakes up, because life energy is draining out of her, which would cause her to wake up. She then yells at Tahu to wake up, and in a burst of irrationality runs away from the life-draining thing, which is the robot we see later (Marendar).Tahu goes after Gali, and they go wake up the other Toa, which occurs offstage (not exactly told, which it probably should have been :( ). Meanwhile, the Order is trying to rehabilitate the Tahtorak, and sends the Turaga in since they have seen the Tahtorak before. They aren't doing so well when Brutaka shows up. Then it is as you see until the Tahtorak and Brutaka catch up with the Marendar and the Toa, and then I bring you Tahu and Gali's point of view again. Then Tahu leaves, using his teleportation power to go to the Red Star, which is a "mansion" of his, if you will, but was raided by Marvah and his pets. When Tahu shows up, he's not pleased about this and gets Mavrah away from the control panel, which he then uses to fire lightning at the Marendar. He then makes the ending comments about being displeased with Mavrah's Rahi invading his living room. Meanwhile, Gali down below witnesses this. *facepalm* Yeah, that wasn't so great, but at least you won't be wondering for all of eternity. Any suggestions?

I GET IT NOW!! Okay, it makes perfect sense now. Okay, now I'm laughing. I don't have any suggestions, as I'm trying out my own first comedy. :P It's gonna be lame.
