joev14
This is Toa Chiara, a Toa of Lightning that you all probably know appears in the Yesterday Quest. I will be continuing the Yesterday Quest story serial, just like I continued The Powers That Be. Since Chiara is probably my favorite character in that story serial, I decided to make an MOC of her. I might make MOCs of Orde and Zaria at some point. As for the weapons, Chiara and Orde stole a set of weapons from two Botan Sand Tribe Glatorian. The weapon in her right hand is obviously a sword, and the one in her right is a cannon weapon that was used in the war before the Shattering. Several of the Vorox were mentioned carrying these in the first three chapters of the Yesterday Quest. Essentially the way I imagined it is something between a Zamor Sphere Launcher and a Thornax Launcher, and it also can double as a mini shield. It fires a sphere of energy that causes an explosion.Front: http://www.brickshel...hiara_front.jpgBack: http://www.brickshel...chiara_back.jpgFront Closeup (that little green thing is her heartlight): http://www.brickshel...ont_closeup.jpgHair Closeup: http://www.brickshel...air_closeup.jpgBotan Sand Tribe Vorox Weapons: http://www.brickshel...rox_weapons.jpg Edited September 16, 2012 by joev14 Quote My Revamp MOCs (flickr) (Brickshelf) My Short Stories The Last Memories | Birth of the Kal | Key of the Codrex Web of Karzahni | The Depths Below | Monster
FrozenFlash
It looks a bit like Inika Hahli with different weapons. The sword and torso are both really good. The hair is also a pretty neat addition. My only complaint is that the heartlight should be a bit higher up on the body but other than that, great job on this! Constructelf
Uh, she wears a Volitak, but otherwise, that's pretty good.

Krakua wears a Suletu that's shaped like a Hau Quote My Revamp MOCs (flickr) (Brickshelf) My Short Stories The Last Memories | Birth of the Kal | Key of the Codrex Web of Karzahni | The Depths Below | Monster
Delta Titan Sparta
Might I also point out:1- Norik's Pehkui (shaped like a Kiril)2- Trinuma's Mask of Charisma (shaped like an adapted Hau Nuva)Personally, I love this MOC. I'm a bit iffy with the blaster, because it looks too darn big on her. For hair on my female MOCs, I find that less is more (ie- a Piraka minifigure spine), since long hair can be used against you in a fight. But, otherwise a very good MOC! I'm not sure how I could make shorter hair, any suggestions? (I actually kind of want all those tubes for something else, so I'm all ears for a way to do so!) Delta Titan Sparta
What I do is use the eye color-brain-thing from Toa Mahri Kongu or the 2008 Toa Nuva sets, stick a 2m axle in it, then a 2m lever, and then stick the mini Piraka spine in. Try it in LDD, minues the eye thing. Quote SUPPORT LEGO HUNGER GAMES!
Anoroka Orokau
I really like the torso design. I always like using rahkshi heads for armor. I think the sword design is really cool. I've thought of using something like that before but never got around to it. I agree with Delta Titan Sparta about the hair. Shorter is better. I personality dont like the idea of hair on Toa. I like having more than one single strand of hair, and unfortunately I don't have a blue mini piraka spine, I've only got black and red :/I really like the torso design. Chro
Well, I do agree that it looks a lot like Hahli. I like the torso armoring technique, actually... haven't seen it used before. The hair connection construct is creative as well. Maybe if there was a little more detail, just to make the MOC stand out, I might like it better.
