The Great Matragon
Hello. I'm the Great Matragon, long time Bionicle fan and forum lurker. Well, this has a little bit of history behind it. You see, not only am I a Bionicle and Lego fan, I'm also a Transformer Fan. I even have a Transformers-based Webcomic, called Transformers Nexus. But you may not be interested in such facts, so allow me to explain further. You see, some issues of my comic don't focus on the Transformers at all. Rather, they focus on other characters in their crazy little universe. And, for anybody who wants to know why I bring this up, that includes the Toa Mata, whom you may recognize from the first known Bionicle Saga, and are widely considered fan favorites. However, having biomechanical beings that look more like robots then anything else can be a little confusing for both the crowds that walk the streets and those readers not 100% familiar with the franchise. So, to compensate, I gave these Toa a little trick other then masks that do stuff and elemental manipulation. That trick is the ability to assume human shapes so they can fit in better with the crowds. Like Kamen Rider... in reverse, or something. Anyway, enough about that, here're the bios for these amazing redesigns (Matter of Opinion.) Quote Click this link, and find a new world of entertainment. Makuta of Time
The Toa Mata hands, look like wrist blades. Oh and the human versions look cool, but uhm...you forgot to add pupils in the eyes.
Canis Lycaon
The Toa Mata hands, look like wrist blades. Oh and the human versions look cool, but uhm...you forgot to add pupils in the eyes. I agree about the blades, in the sets they were really fingers. He doesn't need pupils, they are not necessary when drawing. For myself, I would say that Onua is actually the strongest, because of his mask. Without, Pohatu is the strongest. All the drawings look great and I think you captured the essence of the Toa Mata in human form. Quote I used to have a banner here. But that RPG is dead. What now? Van Hohenheim
not bad drawings at all! I don't think Tahu (human version) would be smiling though also, the humanized versions seem a bit out of proportion. their torso is pretty small compared to their legs. >_<
Heheh. Neat! One small thing though: the text in Tahu's image is a bit hard to read. (but that could just be caused by my monitor being born before my grandparents, though)
Hitoshura
Nice drawings, but the legs look a bit too long compared to the rest of the body. Also, the black axles on the hands are supposed to be fingers, not blades. Quote profiles

Soooo that hand thing turned into a multi-purpose blade/gun/brassknuckle thing. not bad drawings at all! The proportion thing will be adressed at a later time... Heheh. Neat! One small thing though: the text in Tahu's image is a bit hard to read. These were drawn a long time ago and posted on TFW2005 back when my artstyle was still evolving. I've only just now remembered I had an account here and posted these. I MIGHT revamp these at a later date with slightly better propotions, but until then, enjoy the first page of their premier in Transformers Nexus.
